Abstract

Online Learning requires teachers to think creatively and innovatively to attract students. Learning media becomes the main factor in helping teachers make it happen. This study aims to find out the perception of English teachers in the use of canva application as a virtual learning media creation in Loei Thailand.This research applies mixed method design that starts with collecting quantitative data. After analyzing quantitative data, qualitative data is then collected and analyzed. 20 teachers were asked to fill out a questionnaire to find out their perspective on the use of Canva. This research has proven that canva application can be used to create learning media. The result in this research was the function and benefit of canva divided into two, namely as sumplemen and subtitusi. The supplement function of canva is (1) Canva fasilitated teacher to make learning media, (2) Canva Application Improve online teaching process. The substitution function of canva is (1) Canva Application Improves learning media effectively, (2) Learning media of Canva is easy to distribute to students (3) Canva application can help the technology requirement. That is, the function of Canva obtained in this study.

Abstract

Pengelolaan Keuangan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari Pengelolaan Keuangan Desa dalam APBDesa oleh karena itu dalam Pengelolaan Keuangan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) harus memenuhi Prinsip Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa, dimana dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) harus menampakkan adanya pengelolaan yang akuntabel dan transparan. Sedangkan dalam pertanggungjawaban dilihat secara hasil fisik yang menunjukkan pelaksanaan yang akuntabel dan transparan. Alokasi Dana Desa dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi inisiatif baik yang berwujud maupun tidak berwujud yang terkait dengan indikator pembangunan Desa, seperti kesehatan, pendapatan masyarakat, dan tingkat pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa pada Desa Mabolu Kecamatan Lohia Kabupaten Muna.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini informan terdiri dari Krpala Desa, Sekertaris Desa, Bendahara Desa, dan Anggota BPD. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data keputusan dan data lapangan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukan bahwa Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) pada Desa Mabolu belum sepenuhnya efektif, baik dari segi perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pemerintah desa tidak menggunakan dana ADD tersebut sesuai dengan tujuan pengeluaran ADD itu sendiri, sehingga berdampak pada perkembangan Desa mabolu. Serta partisipasi masyarakat pada tahap perencanaan seperti pada saat musrembang masih sangat kurang terbukti dari daftar hadir pada saat musrembang adalah kebanyakan dari anggota-anggota perangkat desa itu sendiri dan hanya diikuti beberapa masyarakat. Sementara pada tahap pertanggungjawaban pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) di Desa Mabolu sudah menerapkan prinsip transparansi atau keterbukaan oleh pemerintah desa sebagai pengelola ADD kepada masyarakat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan media flashcard berbasis augmented reality sebagai media pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam materi huruf hijaiiyah untuk kelas 1 fase A tunarungu di SLB 1 Kota Palopo. 2) mengetahui kelayakan media flashcard berbasis augmented reality sebagai media pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam materi huruf hijaiyyah untuk kelas 1 Fase A tunarungu di SLB 1 Kota Palopo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil Validasi Produk Uji kelayakan flashcard berbasis augmented reality pada materi huruf hijaiyyah dilakukan oleh dosen ahli media. Kelayakan media flashcard berbasis augmented reality yaitu diperoleh frekuensi dengan jumlah 97, dan presentase 97,72% maka media flashcard berbasis augmented reality layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This study discusses teachers' experiences in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in lesson planning and achieving learning objectives. The purpose of this study is to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by teachers in implementing the curriculum. The research used a qualitative approach involving 18 English teachers who have implemented the Merdeka Curriculum for 1-2 years, with data collection through questionnaires and interviews adapted by previous research. The results showed that although many teachers experienced difficulties in designing flexible lesson plans, they saw this curriculum as an opportunity to increase students' creativity and independence. This research provides insight into the challenges teachers face in achieving effective learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article discusses the important role of learning media development through Wordwall game applications that aim to facilitate the learning process for students and teachers and make learning more interactive. In addition, this article also evaluates the feasibility of Wordwall-based learning media that will be used for material on simple lifestyles and supporting the poor. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). However, this research only reached the develop stage and did not continue to the disseminate stage, because at develop only, the objectives of this research had been achieved. The method used in this research is validation conducted by media experts and material experts, which shows that this media can be applied properly. The validation results from material experts were 91% and 97%, while validation from media experts showed a percentage of 68% and 81%, which means that the developed product is feasible to be applied in the learning process. The use of interactive media such as Wordwall games is very important to improve student understanding and make learning more interesting. Suggestions for improvement from media experts related to aspects that can increase student attractiveness, such as the use of consistent colors and clear instructions or covers. It is hoped that this learning media can create learning that is more interactive, effective, and interesting and in accordance with student needs.

Abstract

Background: The literature surrounding anticholinergic drug exposure and its association with dementia has expanded significantly, revealing critical insights into the risks these medications pose, particularly for older adults. The foundational work by (Campbell et al., 2009) established the prevalence of anticholinergic medication use in this vulnerable demographic and highlighted serious cognitive side effects, including attention deficits and hallucinations. This concern is underscored by physiological changes in older adults that increase their susceptibility to such drugs, suggesting that clinicians must carefully weigh the risks versus benefits when prescribing anticholinergic medications. Literature Review: The cumulative effects of anticholinergic drug exposure were examined in detail by (A. C. Coupland et al., 2019), who found a significant correlation between higher cumulative use and increased dementia risk. This study emphasizes the importance of evaluating long-term medication regimens in older patients, particularly those on multiple prescriptions that may include anticholinergic agents. The findings support the notion that while short-term use can lead to immediate cognitive deficits, the long-term implications are critical and warrant further investigation. Conclusion: In conclusion, the body of literature increasingly points towards a significant association between anticholinergic drug exposure and the risk of dementia, particularly in older adults. While certain medications may carry lesser risks, the cumulative exposure to anticholinergic agents appears to be a critical factor in cognitive decline. Ongoing research is essential to clarify these relationships and guide clinical decision-making, ensuring that the prescribing of anticholinergic medications is conducted with a thorough understanding of their potential long-term cognitive implications.

Abstract

The development of Sharia finance in Indonesia has grown rapidly, presenting both challenges and opportunities for businesses, particularly banking, to expand their operations to create a sustainable economy for society and the environment in the future. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to explore the opportunities and challenges faced by Islamic banking in fostering innovation and sustainability in the digital era. Data were collected through literature studies. The findings reveal that Islamic banks in the digital era have opportunities to support banking innovation and develop sustainable finance by implementing the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework in alignment with Sharia principles. In this context, Islamic banks can enhance existing programs, such as zakat (almsgiving), sadaqah (charitable giving), and waqf (endowment), as part of their social initiatives to strengthen sustainability in banking. The challenges faced by Islamic banking in fostering Sharia innovation include the still underdeveloped information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, which can hinder the delivery of Islamic banking services and limit their reach to remote rural areas.

Abstract

This study analyzes the efficiency of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia from 2019 to 2022 using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The input variables include total assets, equity, and operational costs, while the output variables are financing and net profit. By analyzing data from five Islamic banks in each country, this study compares efficiency levels, highlights changes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and identifies factors contributing to inefficiency. The analysis shows that some banks maintained full efficiency, while others experienced a decline due to increased operational costs and lower profitability, especially during the pandemic. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The study uses financial data from Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia from 2019 to 2022. The results show that Islamic banks in Indonesia have lower efficiency levels than those in Malaysia.
