Abstract

Multicultural education is an educational approach that is considered essential in preparing students to live and work in a plural society. This effort aims to develop intercultural communication and understanding among students at school. Through multicultural education, schools strive to promote awareness, knowledge, and appreciation of cultural diversity and to instil values of tolerance and mutual respect. Educational practices such as curriculum integration, culturally responsive teaching, the use of technology, and community involvement, are all aimed at providing a supportive learning environment and educating students to be world citizens who speak and empathize. Multicultural education not only changes the perspective of the individual, but also contributes to the development of a more harmonious society. Through the implementation of these strategies, multicultural education promises better understanding and cross-cultural cooperation among students, which is a valuable asset in this ever-developing and increasingly interconnected world.Education, Multicultural, Communication, Intercultural, School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji metode menghafal Al-Qur'an serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam proses menghafal Al-Qur'an di Pondok Tahfizh Madinatul Qur'an Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari sepuluh orang santriwati dan dua orang pengajar di Pondok Tahfizh Madinatul Qur'an Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode utama yang diterapkan dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an adalah metode wahdah (menghafal per ayat) dan metode takrir (pengulangan). Faktor-faktor pendukung keberhasilan menghafal Al-Qur'an meliputi motivasi dari ustadzah dan lingkungan pondok, niat dan tujuan santriwati yang kuat, muroja'ah yang konsisten, serta adanya jadwal teratur untuk menghafal dan muraja'ah Al-Qur'an. Sementara itu, faktor-faktor penghambat mencakup kurangnya fokus dan motivasi, gangguan dari teman, rasa bosan dan futur, kelelahan dan kantuk, serta godaan setan dan rasa malas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemilihan metode yang tepat dan menyenangkan sangat penting dalam proses menghafal Al-Qur'an. Dengan memahami faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan penghafalan Al-Qur'an di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The curriculum is a fundamental component of education, serving as a framework to guide effective teaching and learning processes. To implement Islamic Religious Education (PAI) effectively and achieve its objectives, PAI teachers must possess a strong understanding of the principles underpinning PAI curriculum development. This study aims to explore the general principles of curriculum development, analyze specific principles related to PAI curriculum design, and examine their implications for the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum. Utilizing a literature review methodology, this study highlights that the principles of PAI curriculum development should align all learning activities with Islamic education while focusing on the students' potential, needs, character, and environmental context. Additionally, the curriculum must be diverse, integrated, responsive to rapid societal changes, relevant to societal and life needs, supportive of lifelong learning, and balanced between national and global interests. Furthermore, the principles of relevance, flexibility, continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness should be prioritized to ensure that curriculum development objectives are well-structured and achievable. The findings indicate that the principles of PAI curriculum development complement the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum, providing a cohesive framework for advancing Islamic education in contemporary contexts.

Abstract

The use of increasingly competitive digital media for MSMEs and monitoring seawater quality measurements in viewing water quality at each screw table can be an innovative solution to improve salt quality supervision. However, so far, measuring seawater quality using a baumemeter is still less effective in viewing water quality at each screw table and seeing the water level in each salt quality pool can be done in stages. The purpose of the Community Service is to find out how to apply a salt content measurement tool to environmentally friendly crystallization for Ujung Pusong Jaya pond farmers and can be done periodically at each salt screw table. Stages of the Location Survey method, permit management, and discussion of PKM Implementation, Determining the time and place of service, preparation of materials, modules, socialization, training in water quality monitoring tools, implementation of service. The results of this tool service are to facilitate and assist members of the Beumakmu pond farmer group in monitoring and monitoring levels periodically without dependence. Furthermore, the speed of information is a preventive effort in taking steps to minimize the risk of greater losses in viewing the quality of pond water at each screw table.

Abstract

Ulak-alik Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) di era VUCA mengacu pada tantangan dan adaptasi yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran BIPA dengan konteks dunia yang dinamis dan penuh ketidakpastian. Tujuan penelitian ini memetakan permasalahan yang dialami oleh pembelajar BIPA sebagai dampak dari era VUCA serta alternatif solusi yang dapat ditawarkan. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif deskriptif dengan data berupa hasil wawancara dan observasi yang bersumber dari darmasiswa Tianjin Foreign Studies University China. Teknik pengumpulan data memanfaatkan teknik wawancara dan observasi partisipatif lalu dianalisis dengan model studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan volatilitas dan ketidakpastian datang dari kekhawatiran pembelajar terhadap karier masa depan dan ilmu pengetahuan yang sangat dinamis menimbang tren yang cepat berubah. Di sisi lain, permasalahan kompleksitas dan ambiguitas datang dari adanya perbedaan budaya yang cukup signifikan menimbang kearifan lokal Indonesia yang sangat beragam sehingga pembelajar kesulitan mengelola informasi yang diterima. Alternatif solusi yang dapat ditawarkan dari permasalahan tersebut di antaranya memanfaatkan teknologi secara efektif untuk menghadirkan bahan ajar dengan isu mutakhir dan bentuk yang fleksibel, misalnya pengembangan modul digital edisi khusus berbasis kebutuhan pembelajar. Selain itu, pengajar dapat menerapkan FGD berkala agar pembelajar dapat berkonsultasi hal-hal yang mereka khawatirkan di luar materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explainincreasing interest, activity, and learning outcomes of Sociology through the think pair share learning model in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu for the 2019/2020 school year. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were class XI students, totaling 32 people. with general procedures covering the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collection method is observation, questionnaires, documentation, and learning outcomes tests. The results of this study indicate that the application of think pair share can increase the interest, activity, and learning outcomes of Sociology in students. This increase can be proven by an increase in interest in learning which at the pre-cycle stage was 0% to 3.137% in cycle 1, then in cycle 2 it became 78.13% with a minimum category of good; increased activitystudy which at the pre-cycle stage was 0% to 40.63% in cycle 1, then increased to 90.63% with a minimum category of good in cycle 2; and an increase in learning outcomes at the pre-cycle stage by 12.50% to 59.38% in cycle 1, then increasing to 100% in cycle 2. Abstract

This study examines whether Explicit Instruction (EI) improves seventh-grade students’ personal-letter writing skills in Indonesian language classes. Using a quantitative design with descriptive and inferential analyses, we surveyed 30 students from SMP Negeri 08 Bengkulu City; EI served as the independent variable and writing outcomes as the dependent variable. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire and analyzed using standard parametric procedures. Results indicate a marked improvement in students’ personal-letter writing after EI was implemented, with a substantial proportion of the variance in outcomes attributable to the model (R² ≈ 0.828), and a highly significant test statistic (t = 11.590, p < .001). These findings support the effectiveness of EI for guiding students through goal setting, modeling, guided practice, and independent performance in a stepwise manner, thereby strengthening task clarity and procedural fluency. The study concludes that EI is a robust pedagogical option for improving personal-letter writing among junior-secondary learners and recommends its integration into routine instruction with appropriate teacher scaffolding. Future research should expand the sample and compare EI with alternative explicit, strategy-based, or collaborative approaches to determine relative efficacy across genres and learner profiles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application wordwall media in improving the ability to write official letters in Indonesian language learning for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Kota Bengkulu. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experiment method. The population in this study were all seventh-grade students, while the samples were from VII A and VII B classes consisting of control and experimental classes. Techniques for collecting data are observation, instrument tests, and documentation. The results of the study The ability to write official letters of VII grade students at SMP Negeri 13 Bengkulu City from the results of the study is the average percentage of the experimental class 79.48%. Meanwhile, the average percentage of the control class is 69.64%. Judging from the posttest value for each indicator varies where there are four indicators. For the effectiveness of the application of Wordwall learning media in improving the ability to write official letters from the data value sign. 0.05 (0.000<0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan aplikasi tes kemampuan siswa untuk mengidentifikasi minat dan potensi mereka di SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengatasi tantangan dalam menilai minat dan kemampuan siswa secara cepat dan akurat, serta mendukung personalisasi pembelajaran. Aplikasi berbasis web dan mobile dikembangkan menggunakan teknologi React, Express.js, dan Dart, menyediakan alat diagnostik komprehensif dan visualisasi data yang mudah dipahami. Metodologi meliputi perancangan aplikasi, pengumpulan data, analisis menggunakan teknik statistik dan machine learning, serta implementasi dan pelatihan. Hasil awal menunjukkan distribusi kemampuan belajar siswa yang bervariasi, dengan mayoritas berada pada level Medium. Tantangan implementasi seperti keterbatasan anggaran dan variasi kemampuan teknologi staf diatasi melalui solusi seperti pelatihan intensif dan implementasi bertahap. Hasil Pengabdian ini aplikasi ini berpotensi signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pendekatan yang lebih personal dan efektif dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Education must be able to make the students better. Likewise, Islamic religious education must be directed at fulfilling philosophical ideals in order to havuing faith based on the qualities. Modern world education must be able to integrate all elements worldly and aspects of finality so that in its development both aspects work together and can crate accountabel education. In the field of education, philosophy will determine the goals, content, implementation and evaluation of education. There are several types of educational philosophy, namely perenialism, essentialism, progressivism, and reconstructionism. Reconstruction of one of the modern schools of education. The flow of reconstructionism argues that the task of saving the world is the duty of all humanity. Therefore it is necessary to re-foster healthy intellectual and spiritual power through proper education of true values and norms for the present and future generations, thus forming a new world in the control of mankind. However, in Islam its must remain in line with the concept of Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach through library research. The results of this study is to show the philosophical framerok of reconstructionism can be a conception of Islamic education.
