Abstract

In the face of uncertainty and complexity in business, forecasting sales is a major challenge, especially in the Office Stationery (ATK) category. Gandaria Store at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi seeks to improve sales forecasting accuracy to optimise stock and marketing strategies. This article proposes the use of the Monte Carlo Method as an innovative approach to forecasting stationery sales at Gandaria Store. The Monte Carlo method is a statistical simulation technique that generates a large number of scenarios based on the probability distribution of the variables that affect sales. By integrating historical data, seasonal factors, economic conditions, and promotional strategies, this method provides a more accurate forecast of future demand. This study uses a quantitative method with a Monte Carlo simulation approach for the period 1 June 2024 to 21 June 2024. The data used are stationery sales transactions during 2021 to 2023. The simulation was conducted with a mathematical model based on historical data to produce an optimal sales forecast. The results show that the use of the Monte Carlo method can improve prediction accuracy compared to traditional methods. This approach helps to optimise inventory, reduce the risk of shortages or overstocks, and support more effective marketing strategies, thus potentially improving the sales performance of stationery at Gandaria Store. The contribution of this research is global, as the use of the Monte Carlo method can be applied to various business sectors around the world that face similar challenges in forecasting demand. This approach can also provide deeper insights into more efficient stock management and marketing strategy planning in the global market, particularly in the retail sector.

Abstract

The role of Islamic education in higher education institutions is pivotal in shaping students' character, morals, and religious understanding. However, the diversity in students' cultural backgrounds, levels of comprehension, and learning styles presents challenges in designing effective and personalized learning strategies. Success in Islamic education at the tertiary level hinges not only on the content of the material but also on the methodologies employed to convey religious values and foster deep understanding.In the era of technological advancement and the Information Society 5.0, traditional approaches to Islamic education may need to be adapted to more adaptive and personalized methods. Each student has unique learning preferences, varying levels of comprehension, and individual challenges in relating religious teachings to everyday life. Thus, innovative approaches are necessary to determine optimal learning strategies.Fuzzy logic, a component of artificial intelligence, can address the complexities in decision-making.Fuzzy logic allows for more flexible measurement by enabling values between 0 and 1, reflecting the degree of membership of an element in a particular set. The application of fuzzy logic is expected to make decision-making regarding Islamic education strategies more adaptive, accurate, and tailored to individual characteristics.

Abstract

This research was conducted from the problems that the authors found during observations at MTsN 2 Pasaman which so far the teacher has not maximized the use of technology in learning mathematics, students only rely on learning from the teacher verbally, so students get bored quickly when learning takes place and have difficulty understanding the material taught by the teacher. Therefore, the authors design learning media based on Augmented Reality so that it can be an alternative learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce an Augmented Reality-based supporting media design for mathematics learning that is valid, practical and effective. The method used in this study is the Research andDevelopment (R&D) method using the Luther-Sutopo version of the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages, namely concept (conception), design (design), collecting material (material collection). assembly (manufacture), testing (testing), and distribution (distribution). And the product test was carried out in this study, namely the validity test given to lecturers of field experts or field experts, practicality tests carried out by mathematics subject teachers and effectiveness tests given to students at MTsN 2 Pasaman class VIII. Based on the results of product tests that have been carried out by the author of the validity test, the average value is 0.84 which is declared valid, for the practicality test, the average value is 0.88 which is declared practical and for the effectiveness test, the average value is obtained. the average is 0.87 which is declared effective.

Abstract

 This research was conducted from the existence of problems found after observations were made at SMK Global Pariaman which found the problem that students and teachers only rely on manual learning and still use printed books, worksheets without using computer technology-based learning media. up-to-date and 3 D (three dimensions). Therefore, the authors are interested in designing learning media based on Augmented Reality in order to increase students' interest in learning, while the aim of this research is to produce a valid, practical and effective Augmented Reality-based learning support media design for Hospitality Accommodation. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Luther-Sutopo version of theMultimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages, namely concept, design. design), material collecting (collection of material), assembly (manufacturing), testing (testing) and distribution (distribution). And there are three product tests carried out in this study, namelyvalidity tests given to expert lecturers or subject matter experts, practicality tests conducted bystudy teachers in the Hospitality Accommodation subject and effectiveness tests given to studentsin SMK Global Pariaman X. According to the results of product tests that have been carried out by the author from the validity test, the average value is 0.8 which is declared valid, and for the practicality test, the average value is 0.88. which is stated to be practical and for the effectiveness test to get the average value is 0.76 which is declared effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di lakukan untuk mencapai tujuan ‎pembelajaran. Banyaknya siswa yang tidak menegerjakan pekerjaan rumah, kurangnya ‎keinginan siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, kurangnya kreatifitas guru dalam proses ‎pembelajaran.‎ Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni penelitian kuantitatif. Desain ‎penelitian yang digunakan penulis yakni penelitian korelasi. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ‎ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII sebanyak 192 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ‎penulis yaitu teknik simple random sampling. Sampel yang diambil secara acak pada penelitian ini ‎sebanyak 24 orang responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu penyebaran angket ‎kepada responden dan menggunakan alat ukur skala likert. Dari uji normalitas, uji linearitas serta uji hipotesis yaitu menggunakan ‎uji produck moment dan uji regresi linear sederhana.‎ nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000. dimana 0.000 < 0,05 dinyatakan berkorelasi. Untuk nilai person ‎correlation bernilai 0.792 dimana 0,7922 x 100% = 62,7 % yang artinya memiliki hubungan yang ‎tinggi. Artinya adanya hubungan antara variabel bebas yaitu persepsi siswa tentang gaya mengajar ‎guru dan variabel terikat minat belajar siswa sebesar 62,7%, yang mana korelasinya tergolong korelasi ‎yang tinggi.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to create a system design that "can assist parents and teachers in recognizing the talents of their students" based on the child's personality, so that parents and teachers can provide "the right education and learning patterns for students". The author discovers that there is no expert system in SMP Muhammadiyah Kandis to identify children's talents based on personality type using certainty factor methods, and that at SMP Muhammadiyah Kandis, evaluations are still done manually and only to determine intelligence, not to determine student talent. The research method that the author uses is the Research and Development method, where the development method that the author uses is the Waterfall method according to Pressman, which the stages consist of Communication, Planning, Modeling, Construction, Development.‎ Based on the findings of the authors' research, the authors were successful in creating this research product, with the functional suitability test results from two experts obtaining a feasibility value of 100%, which was declared Very Fair, and the compatibility test results obtaining a feasibility value of 100%, which was declared Very Eligible and the feasibility score for the usability test was 86.3%, which was declared Very Eligible, and the feasibility score for the material result test was 81%, which was declared Very Eligible, and the feasibility score for the Indonesian linguistic test was 87.5%, which was declared Very Eligible. The aim of this study is to develop a expert system to identify children's interests and talents that are validated and worthy of being operated.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an issue concerning student violations at Tugumulyo State Vocational High School which are still frequently occurring, and the recording of these student violations is manually documented in a student violation logbook, causing difficulties for the guidance and counseling teachers in managing them. Furthermore, parents face challenges in monitoring their children's discipline at school due to the insufficient delivery of information regarding student violation points. Hence, there is a need for a system capable of managing student violation data and providing information to parents regarding their children's discipline in school. This research applies the Research and Development (R&D) model. The R&D model in this research employs the ADDIE model with five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. This product has been tested for validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of the product's validity test obtained a score of 0.85, categorized as valid. The practicality test resulted in a score of 0.97, categorized as a very high level of practicality, while the effectiveness test yielded a score of 0.91, categorized as a high level of effectiveness. These research findings demonstrate that the integrated student violation point system through Telegram at Tugumulyo State Vocational High School has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

The competition between universities in the admission of new students is becoming increasingly intense, making it more difficult for the public, especially prospective students, to choose a study program. The Department of Hadith Sciences at UIN Syech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi has fewer applicants compared to other departments due to the limited interest of prospective students in enrolling. In response to this issue, the author developed a Monte Carlo simulation predictive model that allows prospective students to estimate the number of applicants to the Department of Hadith Sciences for the upcoming academic year. The research technique employed in this study uses Monte Carlo simulation to apply this research. The number of students in the Department of Hadith Sciences who enrolled from 2019 to 2023 serves as the data used to predict the number of new student registrations. The accuracy of the simulation in estimating the number of new students who will enroll in the Department of Hadith Sciences is 218 students, with an average annual accuracy of 65.1%. By applying the Monte Carlo method, it is possible to predict the number of students who will enroll in the Department of Hadith Sciences with a relatively high level of accuracy in its application

Abstract

Sistem penunjang keputusan digunakan untuk membantu mendukung keputusan sebagai solusi atas sebuah masalah dalam melihat sebuah peluang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem penunjang keputusan rekomendasi pemilihan topik judul skripsi mahasiswa program studi PTIK dengan menggunakan metode logika fuzzy yang diimplementasikan dalam pemograman java. Berguna untuk mengatasi keraguan mahasiswa dalam memilih topik judul skripsi berdasarkan empat bidang yang ada yaitu bidang pendidikan, pemograman, multimedia dan jaringan, sehingga dapat mencegah kebiasaan buruk mahasiswa yang mengambil topik judul skripsi secara subjektif yaitu mengikuti pilihan teman-temannya yang dapat mengakibatkan topik judul tidak sesuai minat dan kemampuan mahasiswa, sehingga sering mengalami ganti judul, joki skripsi sampai keterlambatan kelulusan dan kehabisan semester yang berujung DO (Drop Out). Metode yang digunakan adalah research & development dengan model waterfall yang terdiri dari communication, planning, modelling, construction, deployment. Hasil dari penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan standar ISO/IEC 25010. Hasil uji produknya yaitu aspek validity test materi mendapatkan skor 0,83 valid, validity test kebahasaan mendapatkan skor 0,92 valid, functional suitability mendapat skor 100%, compability mendapat skor 100% dan usability mendapat skor 95,4%. Berdasarkan hasil uji produk sistem penunjang keputusan ini dapat menjadi salah satu cara mahasiswa untuk memilih topik judul skripsi yang sesuai dengan kemampuan mahasiswa.

Abstract

penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan program pengabdian alumni STAI As Sunnah terhadap teknologi informasi berbentuk  web aplikasi  yang berfungsi sebagai sistem informasi yang komprehensif, yang memuat informasi dan data tentang program pengabdian alumni. Program pengabdian alumni di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam As Sunnah Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara, telah berjalan selama 6 tahun. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program pengabdian alumni STAI As Sunnah Deli Serdang berbasis IT yang sebelumnya masih menggunakan sistem manual. Pengembangan program ini menggunakan teknologi informasi dengan menghasilkan aplikasi web yang didesain sesuai dengan Pedoman Pengabdian Alumni STAI As Sunnah Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research dan Development  dengan model SDLC atau Software Development Life Cycle waterfall, melalui tahapan komunikasi, perencanaan, pemodelan, konstruksi, dan implementasi, yang menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa aplikasi web. Pengujian aplikasi web hasil penelitian pengembangan ini telah sesuai dengan standar kelayakan perangkat lunak berdasarkan ISO atau IEC. Uji kelayakan meliputi Aspek Kesesuaian Fungsional  dengan kategori sangat layak, Aspek Ko-eksistensi dengan kategori sangat layak, Aspek Kebergunaan  dengan kategori sangat layak, Aspek Kebahasaan dengan kategori sangat layak, dan Aspek Materi dengan kategori sangat layak. Validitas penilaian dari lima ahli yang dihitung menggunakan rumus validitas Aiken menghasilkan nilai V nol koma delapan puluh sembilan, menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini memiliki validitas yang sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, hasil perhitungan tersebut membuktikan bahwa aplikasi yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti layak digunakan
