Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of Arabic language learning using the boarding school system at SMA Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, which discusses learning planning, namely an Arabic learning plan including activities to develop learning objectives and planning the flow of lessons for learning Arabic, implementation of learning, namely learning plans. that have been developed, as well as a continuous process of teaching and learning activities that focus on school activities to achieve educational goals, learning evaluation is one of the important stage activities that educators must carry out to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. In the Arabic language learning planning at Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo High School, currently there is a learning curriculum, learning tools and an Arabic language competency skills upgrading program implemented for teachers and students. In the learning implementation there is formal and non-formal learning. Evening diniyah formal learning. Meanwhile, non-formal learning takes the form of giving mufrodat, muhadoroh, and language drama. In learning evaluation there are 3 assessment components, namely daily assessment, daily test assessment and final pre-school assessment which are test and non-test based.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  implementasi  pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi kelas XII IPS 1 di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang akan dianalisis adalah berupa  observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  implementasi  pembelajaran  nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan dilaksanakan   dalam   3 (tiga)  tahapan   yaitu Pertama, Perencanaan pembelajaran dengan membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan pemilihan metode pembelajaran. Kedua, Pelaksanaan pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi menggunakan lagu “ dua mata saya “ dan lirik lagu tersebut di ubah menjadi rangkaian kaidah materi macam-macam khobar. Ketiga, Evaluasi pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi dilaksanakan secara lisan dan tulisan berupa soal tanya jawab dan soal ujian harian. Sedangkan  untuk  hasil penelitian terkait respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi adalah sebagian besar siswa kelas XII IPS 1 di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan dengan angka presentase 90.9% menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran nahwu berbasis metode bernyanyi merupakan metode pembelajaran yang sangat menyenangkan, tidak membosankan, dan materi yang disampaikan lebih mudah dipahami sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The existence of the components of dictionary preparation that have been proposed by experts in the field can be used as a benchmark in assessing the ideal dictionary. This research aims to analyze the existence of the components in the Santri Saluni Dictionary by using Dr. Ali Al-Qasimy's perspective. The method used in this research is library research with descriptive characteristics. The results of the study found that the Santri Saluni Dictionary meets 16 of the 25 components proposed by Dr. Ali Al-Qasimy. These components are: a.) the initial part: the purpose of preparing the dictionary, the sources used, the background of the preparation, instructions for using the dictionary, grammar guidelines, the amount of material in the dictionary, the meaning of symbols, and also other information in the form of print and publisher info, and table of contents, b.) the main part: the font used, the column model, phonetic information, morphological information, semantic information, and examples of word usage, c.) the final part: table components, bibliography and brief information about the dictionary on the back cover.

Abstract

Language is a communicative phenomenon in a social context so that the ability to speak Arabic is no longer a complement but a vital requirement that must be mastered by prospective haj and umrah pilgrims. Therefore, the focus of research conducted by researchers is on user response to the design of a traveling-based communicative Arabic language e-book for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims at KBIH Jabal Nur Sidoarjo. This study used a descriptive qualitative method approach with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and questionnaires and data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results showed a percentage of 90.8%, meaning that most of the congregation stated that the traveling-based communicative Arabic ebook included a new design typology that could be used as a guide in communicating practical Arabic in Saudi Arabia. Highlights: Vital Language Skill: Proficiency in Arabic becomes essential for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims due to the communicative nature of these journeys. Innovative Design: The study focuses on a new design typology for a traveling-based communicative Arabic e-book. Positive Reception: Research findings reveal a 90.8% approval rate among participants, indicating the effectiveness of the e-book for practical Arabic communication in Saudi Arabia. Abstract

The abstract presents the importance of visual design, particularly in educational contexts, for enhancing learning motivation and comprehension. It highlights the potential of mahfudhot posters, combining Arabic language learning with visually stimulating elements. The study aimed to investigate the impact of mahfudhot posters on student learning motivation, disciplinary values, and philosophical insight. The research employed qualitative methods to design and implement the mahfudhot poster about Learning Motivation. Results indicate that incorporating mahfudhot posters in Arabic language learning fosters increased enthusiasm and comprehension among students. The findings suggest the value of integrating visual design strategies into educational materials to promote learning motivation and holistic understanding. Abstract

Background: This study examines Mahmud Yunus' Arabic-Indonesian dictionary using a library research method. Gap: Limited research exists on the dictionary's structural features and supplementary content. Aim: The research analyzes the dictionary's components and applies Philip Mayring's content analysis. Results: The 14th edition of the dictionary includes linguistic tools like tashrif and wazan but lacks elements such as historical chronology, maps, and compiler details. It does feature visual aids related to everyday objects. Novelty: The study reveals missing supplementary content, suggesting areas for improvement. Abstract

Language is a communication tool to convey one's wishes to someone else around the world with various characteristics. Arabic is the second most widely used international language, in learning it there are several obstacles that most people experience. Among them is the age factor, which affects memory when receiving lessons, health, mood, tuition fees, signals (for those who are online), distance, besides that it is also a factor in dividing time between family, study and work. In order to overcome this, supporting factors such as strong motivation during the learning process are needed. This is experienced by the ummahat Mahad Umar Bin khattab Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, their azzam to be able to return to study at a young age, the underlying motivation for the ummahat in learning Arabic is to understand the Al-Quran and translate it well, as a provision for communication, educating their children, job demands, as a filler in free time, motivating peers, and realizing the ideals of youth to study in college. Highlights: Age challenges: Memory decline, health issues, and time constraints pose hurdles for Arabic learners, especially older individuals. Motivation: Strong desire to understand the Quran, advance careers, and fulfill personal aspirations drives learners to overcome obstacles in Arabic language acquisition. Abstract

This qualitative research study investigates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Arabic language learning at Ar-Rohmah Putri II Islamic Boarding School in Malang, Indonesia. The research aims to elucidate the intricacies of Arabic language development within the context of Islamic boarding schools, emphasizing its pivotal role. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis, employing the interactive data analysis technique by Miles and Huberman. The findings reveal three key aspects: 1) meticulous planning of Arabic language curriculum, learning tools, and language competency enhancement programs; 2) effective implementation aligned with educational objectives and the integral curriculum based on tauhid (Islamic monotheism); 3) multifaceted evaluation methods encompassing both student assessments and teacher performance evaluations. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of Arabic language education in Islamic boarding schools and its implications for educational practices worldwide. Abstract

This study employs an R&D approach, utilizing the ADDIE model, to investigate the development of snakes and ladders learning media for Arabic instruction. Initial analysis revealed the exclusive use of lecture-based teaching without supplementary media. Subsequently, the researcher designed a snakes and ladders learning module using the Canva application. The designed module underwent validation, with material experts providing unanimous approval and media experts offering constructive feedback. Implementation in a classroom setting garnered positive responses, with 97.50% and 92.50% from small- and large-scale assessments, respectively. Formative evaluation based on student feedback led to further refinements, including an enlargement to A3 size. Both qualitative and quantitative techniques were employed for data analysis, drawing on methods such as observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The study's results demonstrate the efficacy and potential of the innovative snakes and ladders media in enhancing Arabic language learning. Abstract

This study rigorously examines the content of maharah istima' wal kitabah (listening and writing skills) within the textbook "Al-Lughatu Al-Arabiyyah," using the criteria established by Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Fauzan. The research holds significant implications for the effective development of Arabic language proficiency. Employing a qualitative content analysis approach, the study meticulously scrutinizes the learning materials, exercises, and assessments pertinent to maharah istima' wal kitabah. Through content analysis techniques, the study unveils that "Al-Lughatu Al-Arabiyyah" adequately satisfies the 'good' category, achieving a commendable 70% for maharah istima' and a 'sufficient' category with a 60% rating for maharah kitabah. These findings offer valuable insights for educators and textbook authors in crafting materials that optimize students' listening and writing skills development. Highlight: Comprehensive Assessment: The study employs a meticulous content analysis approach, evaluating various aspects including learning materials, exercises, and assessments, to provide a comprehensive understanding of maharah istima' wal kitabah proficiency.
