Abstract

In the era of advancing technology and globalization, education is significantly influenced by sophisticated technological advancements. This research aims to elucidate the process of developing Android-based learning media utilizing smart app creators and to assess its effectiveness in enhancing maharah kalam. Employing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) up to the Implementation stage, the study garnered favorable ratings from media experts (76% indicating 'good'), material experts (84% indicating 'very good'), and students (82% indicating 'very good'). Pre-test and post-test results revealed a notable improvement, with mean scores of 77.5000 and 82.6667 respectively, signifying a significant enhancement in students' maharah kalam proficiency. This research highlights the potential of technology-based learning media in optimizing language education outcomes. Highlight: Integration of Advanced Technology: This research addresses the significant impact of sophisticated technology on contemporary education, emphasizing the development of Android-based learning media for language proficiency enhancement. Effective Implementation through ADDIE Model: The study employs the systematic ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to ensure a comprehensive approach in creating and implementing the learning media, up to the Implementation stage. Positive Assessment from Experts and Students: The research results showcase favorable evaluations from both media experts (76% indicating 'good') and material experts (84% indicating 'very good'). Additionally, students' responses indicate a substantial improvement in their maharah kalam proficiency, emphasizing the effectiveness of the technology-based learning approach. Abstract

This study aimed to assess the impact of crossword puzzle media (TTS) on vocabulary enhancement among 4th grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. Employing a one-group pretest-posttest design, data was collected through observation, test questions, and documentation. The sample consisted of 28 students from class 4 al-farobi. The findings revealed a substantial increase in students' vocabulary, with pre-test and post-test averages of 60.71 and 82.50, respectively. The paired sample t-test confirmed a significant effect (p < 0.05) of crossword puzzles (TTS) on vocabulary enhancement. This study underscores the efficacy of utilizing crossword puzzles as an effective pedagogical tool for augmenting student vocabulary. Highlight: The study demonstrates the positive impact of crossword puzzle media (TTS) on enhancing vocabulary in 4th grade students. Abstract

This study explores the integration of Arabic language learning into the PAUD curriculum, leveraging the critical phase of early childhood brain development. Employing the versatile Arduino Mega hardware, designed for microcontroller-based applications, researchers developed a tailored Arabic learning tool using the Addie r&d model method. The tool features a playful monkey character, equipped with an Arabic vocabulary drawing board, with vocabulary selection tailored to student development. Research methods encompassed interviews, observations, and questionnaires, yielding material validation test results of 100% and media validation test results of 89%. This research offers a valuable contribution in the form of a student-centric Arduino-based Arabic learning tool, poised to enhance Arabic language acquisition in early childhood education. Highlight: Integration of Arabic language learning in early childhood education capitalizes on critical stages of brain development. Utilizing Arduino Mega hardware, researchers employ the Addie r&d model to create a customized Arabic learning tool featuring an engaging monkey character. Validation tests demonstrate high effectiveness, with material validation scoring 100% and media validation reaching 89%, offering a promising contribution to Arabic language acquisition in early childhood education. Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of utilizing the Rosetta Stone application as a tool for learning Arabic vocabulary, particularly among college students at Rumah Binaan Indonesia Malang. Employing a case study approach involving observation, interviews, and documentation, the research demonstrates that the application facilitates independent learning, offering exercises with immediate feedback. The findings indicate that college students find the Rosetta Stone application user-friendly and flexible, allowing for convenient Arabic vocabulary acquisition at any time and place. This research sheds light on the potential of smartphone applications, such as Rosetta Stone, in supporting language learning endeavors for beginners. Highlight: This study assesses the effectiveness of the Rosetta Stone application as a valuable tool for Arabic vocabulary acquisition, specifically tailored for college students at Rumah Binaan Indonesia Malang. Abstract

General Background: The promotion of Arabic language proficiency is crucial in Islamic educational institutions, particularly in boarding schools. Specific Background: At the S-PEAM Putri Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan City, the concept of Arabiyah bi'ah encompasses both formal and non-formal methods of language acquisition, yet the effectiveness of these implementations remains underexplored. Knowledge Gap: Existing literature lacks comprehensive qualitative analyses that address both the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting language acquisition in such settings. Aims: This study aims to investigate the implementation of Arabiyah bi'ah at S-PEAM Putri and identify the factors that contribute to or hinder its effectiveness. Results: The research reveals two distinct types of Arabiyah bi'ah: formal practices, which involve structured lessons focusing on grammar and vocabulary, and non-formal practices, such as language circles and multimedia engagement. Internal supporting factors include self-awareness and discipline, while external factors encompass environmental influences and instructional support. Inhibiting factors identified include a lack of motivation and external distractions such as family visits and curriculum inconsistencies. Novelty: This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing Milles and Huberman's analytical techniques and SWOT analysis to provide a nuanced understanding of the dynamics within the boarding school context. Implications: Findings underscore the importance of fostering a supportive environment for Arabic language acquisition, highlighting the need for consistent implementation of language practices to enhance student engagement and proficiency. Abstract

This thesis discusses the Application of Demonstration Methods in Learning Maharah Kalam in the Darussalam School Lawang Malang. In learning Maharah kalam rarely used by the teacher when learning then learning is given classic and does not vary, many students do not know the benefits of maharah kalam and are not confident in speaking Arabic. With this the researchers implemented a new program, The Demonstration Method.This research methodology uses a qualitative approach. The research data collection was obtained by participatory observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teknik penerjemahan pada subtitle film animasi “Ibnu Sina” versi Arabic Cartoon. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah 1. kompleksitas dari proses penerjemahan yang memang rumit, 2. Kurangnya keahlian penerjemah dalam bahasa penerima yang dapat mengakibatkan interferensi, 3.kurangnya pemahaman penerjemah terhadap teori penerjemah, 4. perbedaan signifikan antara bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, yang mengharuskan penerjemah memilih teknik yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisis subtitle dari episode 1 sampai 3. Tujuan penelitian Penelitian ini adalah memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang penerapan teknik penerjemahan dalam konteks audiovisual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik penerjemahan yang dominan digunakan adalah teknik harfiah dan adaptasi. serta teknik lainnya yang muncul meliputi kesepadanan lazim, transposisi, amplifikasi linguistik, peminjaman, kompensasi, reduksi, calcue, generalisasi, partikulasi dan deskriptif.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk di bidang pendidikan. AI menawarkan beragam kemudahan, mulai dari otomatisasi hingga personalisasi pengalaman belajar, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perspektif mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab terhadap penggunaan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat diperoleh wawasan yang lebih mendalam mengenai pandangan mahasiswa terhadap penerapan AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab serta implikasinya terhadap proses belajar-mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PBA UMSIDA memandang AI sebagai alat bantu yang efektif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, khususnya dalam aspek penerjemahan dan pelafalan. AI yang sering digunakan mahasiswa ChatGPT. Namun, mahasiswa tetap memerlukan bimbingan akademik untuk memahami aspek linguistik secara lebih mendalam serta menangkap nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam bahasa tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the competence of Arabic language teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at MA Dafi Pesantren Al-Qur'an Science Sidoarjo and the challenges faced. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that teachers have good competence in understanding student characteristics, designing project-based learning, and applying interactive methods and varied evaluations. However, the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum faces obstacles such as low student motivation, limited interesting teaching materials, lack of supporting environment for Arabic language practice, and minimal utilization of technology in learning. This study recommends strengthening teacher training in technology integration, developing teaching materials that are more contextual and applicable, and institutional support in creating a more effective learning environment. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for improving Arabic learning strategies in the Merdeka Curriculum in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study discusses student and teacher responses to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) in Arabic language learning at SMPIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, aiming to describe perceptions, experiences, and challenges encountered in its application. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires involving 51 eighth-grade students and one Arabic language teacher. The findings indicate that students benefit from more flexible and practice-based learning methods, which enhance their understanding and interest in Arabic. Teachers also experience greater flexibility in designing teaching strategies, although they still face challenges in material preparation and limited supporting facilities. Overall, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Arabic language learning at SMPIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo has had a positive impact, yet further optimization in technical aspects and learning facilities is needed for greater effectiveness.
