Abstract

This community service activity aims to optimize the understanding and skills of elementary school (SD) teachers in Tarik District in implementing innovative learning based on deep learning. The concept of deep learning in the context of education does not solely refer to the use of technology, but also includes a deep, reflective, and meaningful learning approach. Through this approach, teachers are expected to be able to create a learning environment that encourages students to think critically, creatively, and be able to collaborate effectively. This activity was attended by 34 elementary school teachers from eight schools in the Tarik District area. In addition to providing training related to deep learning concepts and strategies, such as project-based learning and problem-based learning, this activity also introduced the use of OLabs (Online Labs), which is a virtual laboratory platform that can be accessed for free and is specifically designed to support the implementation of online experimental learning. The use of OLabs provides an efficient and flexible alternative, especially for educational units that have limited laboratory facilities. Based on the results of the evaluation, there was a significant increase in teachers' understanding of innovative learning principles, as well as a commitment to implement the approach in an adaptive manner and in accordance with the context of each school. This activity is expected to be the starting point in efforts to strengthen the pedagogic capacity of teachers, in order to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and answer the challenges of 21st century education.

Abstract

This study's goal is to learn how to use concrete object media in class 2. This depends on educators who have not involved substantial article media in learning science. So the scientist expects to help educators in the use of substantial item media by presenting a proposal research named "Use of Substantial Article Media in Learning Level Shapes in Class 2 on the material qualities of level shapes.This research utilizes clear quantitative examination. The students in class 2 are the subject of this research's data. The information assortment methods utilized are perception, tests, and polls. The results of this study using concrete object media in learning flat shapes in class 2 show that student activities were in the good category with a score of 94.9, which indicates the validity of the data used in this study. Concerning the learning results to get a decent classification get a score of 79.7.

Abstract

This research is in the background because of the lack of student activity in learning activities and is a problem in the learning process in the classroom because students are an important indicator in the effective learning process. This is because teachers tend to use conventional methods and lack in utilizing learning media. The purpose of this study is to increase the activeness and understanding of the material of the Change of Form of Elementary School students in the learning process. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a "quasi-experimental design" design in the form of a posttest only control group design. The research was conducted in one of the elementary schools with the research subject of grade IV students who studied material on changes in the form of objects. The subjects of this study consisted of 25 students from grades IV-A and IV-B at SDN Kepuh Kiriman 1 Waru. The data collection technique uses Posttest Only and the average test scores of the Experiment class and the Control class have differences. The Experiment class had an average test score of 71.84, while the Control class had an average test score of 50.56. This can be proven by the results of hypothesis testing using an independent Sample T-test which shows a sig value. ( 2 – tailed) 0.000. Which shows that wordwoll educational game media in Discovery Learning has a very influential role in the activeness and understanding of material changes in the form of elementary school students in the Learning Process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' ability in reading, including students' ability to read the beginning in learning Indonesian language material. Teachers need learning media, one of which is word cards, to help deliver learning materials. The purpose of this researcher is to determine the effect of the application of the synthetic analytical structural method assisted by word card media on the ability to read the beginning. This study uses a quantitative approach. The IBM SPSS 25 program is used to conduct normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results of the study showed the Independent Sample t Test, with a significance value of sig. <0.05 which indicates that there is an effect of the application of the synthetic analytical structural method assisted by word card media on the ability to read the beginning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanaya kondisi siswa dalam kemampuan memahami materi masih rendah, masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran, dan juga siswa yang tidak antusias dalam proses pembelajaran dapat berdampak pada tidak berhasilnya tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah kelas IV-B di MIN 2 Kota Surabaya dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Hasil dalam penelitian Evektifitas metode virtual field trip diukur dengan 3 indikator. Yaitu indikator aktivitas siswa, respon siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Dari ketiga indikator tersebut telah diperoleh data hasil aktivitas siswa dengan skor 96, hasil respon siswa dengan presentase 94,7% dan hasil belajar siswa dengan presentase 70,3%. Dari data tersebut telah di hitung rata-rata indikator dan diperoleh presentase nilai hasil akhir sejumlah 87% dengan kategori “Sangat Efektif”. Dari data tersebut dapat kita ketahui bahwa metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan virtual field trip pada pembelajaran IPAS materi pancaindera terbuktit efektif.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasi praktik asesmen pembelajaran melalui pendekatan deep learning bagi guru profesional sekolah dasar. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih dominannya praktik asesmen yang berorientasi pada hasil akhir dan hafalan, sehingga belum mampu mengukur pemahaman konseptual, penalaran, dan refleksi belajar siswa secara mendalam. Kegiatan PPM dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 30 guru sekolah dasar di SDN Ketidur Mojokerto menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan konsep asesmen deep learning, pendampingan pengembangan instrumen asesmen, implementasi terbatas di kelas, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru mengenai prinsip asesmen deep learning serta terjadinya perubahan praktik asesmen menuju penilaian yang lebih bermakna dan berorientasi pada proses berpikir siswa. Produk asesmen yang dihasilkan meliputi soal kontekstual terbuka, rubrik penilaian kinerja, dan asesmen reflektif yang selaras dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Transformasi praktik asesmen ini berkontribusi dalam mendukung pembelajaran bermakna serta memperkuat profesionalisme guru sekolah dasar dalam mengimplementasikan asesmen yang berorientasi pada pembelajaran mendalam.

Abstract

Penelitian payung ini menekankan pentingnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) siswa, seperti pemecahan masalah, eksperimen, dan pemikiran kritis, dalam penanaman konsep pada pembelajaran IPA. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan strategi penanaman konsep dalam mengembangkan HOTS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan HOTS pada pembelajaran IPA dapat dilakukan melalui beberapa pendekatan efektif, yaitu penerapan model experiential learning, penerapan konsep IPA dalam berpikir kritis, dan penerapan metode outdoor learning. Ketiga pendekatan ini terbukti sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang sukses dalam mengintegrasikan teori dengan praktik, membantu siswa memahami konsep IPA secara mendalam dan meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS mereka. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memperkuat pemahaman siswa, tetapi juga mendorong keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif yang esensial untuk pembelajaran yang efektif.
