Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan mitra yang diidentifikasi yaitu menulis artikel ilmiah bagi guru menjadi tuntutan profesinya sehingga guru perlu mendapakan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, kegiatan ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sumur Welut 3. Penulisan karya tulis ilmiah bagi guru dapat berfungsi sebagai rujukan/referensi untuk meningkatkan wawasan atau menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan. Dengan menulis karya ilmiah akan bermanfaat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis, berlatih mengintegrasikan berbagai gagasan dan menyajikannya secara sistematis, memperluas wawasan dan guru-guru antusias karena pelatihan ini merupakan bagian dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Menulis artikel ilmiah juga bisa bermanfaat untuk mendapatkan kenaikan pangkat bagi guru PNS. Seperti yang diketahui bahwa salah satu unsur kenaikan pangkat guru dari golongan tertentu ke golongan yang lebih tinggi salah satu pendukungnya adalah membuat artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan di Jurnal ilmiah

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan workshop pengembangan media pembelajaran bagi guru SDN Sumur Welut III/440 Surabaya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara offline di ruang pertemuan SDN Sumur Welut III/440 Surabaya. Metode pelaksanaan workshop adalah dengan presentasi, pemodelan dan simulasi disertai tugas. Hasil kegiatan Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini, yaitu: (1) kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terlaksana dengan sangat baik; (2) meningkatnya kreativitas guru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK.

Abstract

Achmad Fanani Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang akufanani@gmail.com Abstrak The Gambler adalah sebuah novel yang ditulis oleh Fyodor Dostoevsky tentang seorang guru muda yang bekerja di keluarga seorang jenderal Rusia yang pernah menjadi orang kaya. Novel ini, seperti dapat dilihat dalam novel back-cover, adalah refleksi dari kecanduan ke penulis judi rolet. Dostoevsky menyelesaikan penulisan novel ini dalam batas waktu yang sangat singkat sehingga ia dapat melunasi utang judi. Adapun tokoh utama dalam novel The Gambler, Alexei Ivanovich, dapat dikategorikan sebagai seorang pathological gambler. Hal ini dikarenakan dia memenuhi paling tidak 5 dari 10 karakteristik seorang pathological gambler yaitu preoccupation (terobsesi dengan perjudian), tolerance (meningkatkan jumlah taruhan), escape (sebagai bentuk pelarian), chasing (selalu berusaha memenangkan kembali apa yang kalah), loss of control (kehilangan kontrol diri), dan bailout (dan mengandalkan uang dari orang lain). kata kunci: penjudi, perjudian, kecanduan     Abstract The Gambler is a novel written by Fyodor Dostoevsky about a young teacher who worked in the family of a Russian general who was once a wealthy man. This novel, as can be seen in the back-cover of the novel, is a reflection of the author’s addiction to roulette, Dostoevsky completed the writing of this novel in a very short deadline so that he could pay off his gambling debts. The main character of this novel, Alexei Ivanovixh, can be categorized as a pathological gambler. He meets at least five out of ten characteristics of a pathological gambler: preoccupation, tolerance, escape, chasing, loss of control, and bailout. key words: gambler, gambling, addicted

Achmad Fanani University of Pesantren Tinggi Darul’Ulum Jombangakufanani@gmail.com Abstract Seventy-seven-year-old Tokusuke, a retired businessman, is the protagonist and diarist of this book. Various aches and pains plague him, but his spirits are buoyed by a growing erotic obsession with his daughter-in-law, Satsuko, a former nightclub dancer married to his workaholic son. She carelessly flirts with Tokusuke off and on. This short novel alternates between descriptions of our hero's haggling with the medical establishment and various medicines, fights with his wife and family, and encounters with Satsu. Considering some facts of his sexual behaviors it can be said that Tokusuke has a tendency of masochism. He has high sexual urges that last at least about six months. He also finds pleasure from being humiliated either physically or psychologically by beautiful women (Satsuko) whose character is bad for the compensation of sexual excitement. All these characteristics relate to the signs of masochism. key words: Masochism, sexual excitement    Abstrak Tokusuke, pria berusia tujuh puluh tujuh tahun merupakan seorang pengusaha yang sudah pensiun. Dia adalah protagonis dan penulis buku Diary of A Mad Old Man. Meskipun berbagai penderitaan kerap menghampiri, akan tetapi semangatnya tetap berkobar oleh obsesi erotis terhadap menantunya, Satsuko, mantan penari hiburan malam, yang menikah dengan anaknya. Dia sering menggoda Tokusuke. Novel pendek ini bergantian menceritakan tentang petarungan Tokusuke dengan penyakitnya, pertengkaran dengan istri dan keluarganya, dan pertemuannya dengan Satsu. Melihat beberapa kenyataan tentang perilaku seksualnya, bisa dikatakan bahwa Tokusuke memiliki kecenderungan sebagai seorang masokis. Dia memiliki dorongan seksual yang kuat yang berlangsung selama 6 bulan berturut-turut. Dia juga senang disakiti baik secara fisik maupun mental oleh wanita cantik (Satsuko) yang memiliki karakter jelek dengan kompensasi kesenangan seksual. Semua karakter ini berkaitan dengan karakteristik seorang masokis. kata kunci: Masosisme, kesenangan seksual

Standar sebagai penerjemah baik itu ditentukan oleh kemampuannya dalam kompetensi bahasa, kompetensi penerjemahan, kompetensi tekstual, kompetensi mata pelajaran, kompetensi budaya dan transfer kompetensi. Terjemahan yang berbeda akan terjadi jika penerjemah mengabaikan lima elemen ini. Sehingga hasil penerjemahannya akan jauh keakuratan dan memiliki tingkat keterbacaan yang rendah. kata kunci: variabilitas, penerjemahan  Abstract Variability in translation covers how an interpreter is committed to place himself as a good translator. The standard as a good translator is determined by his ability in mastering translation competences of a language, textual, subject, cultural competence and competencies of transferring languages. If a translator ignores one or all of these elements, the translation is failed. Thus, translations do not have accuracy and legibility (readability). key words: variability, translation

This kind of phenomenon in the study of second language acquisition is called the interference of first language into second language (negative Interlingua transfer). Such interference often leads to errors (Kreshen, Stephen, 1988). This study describes the interference of Indonesian language (L1) into the English language acquisition (L2) commonly made by the second – semester students of English Department, Faculty of Language and Letters, UNIPDU Jombang and the language – based factors that influence the occurrence of interference. key words: L1 interference, markedness, beginner– level students   Abstrak Bahasa pertama (L1) mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap keberterimaan bahasa kedua (L2). Fenomena semacam ini dalam akuisisi bahasa kedua disebut dengan interferensi L1 kedalam L2 (Negative interlingual transfer). Interferensi tersebut seringkali mengakibatkan kesalahan (error) (Krasen, Stephen, 1988). Abstract

The development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has had a changing impact on society, including the world of education. Development of Industrial Revolution 4.0 also coincides with the demands of 21st century learning related to 4 skills namely critical thinking, innovative, collaborative and communicative. Two things requires teachers to conduct learning that focus on the fourth students' skills. Therefore, it needs internal innovation learning, namely by developing interactive digital media. In Determining the media used, teachers must understand the characteristics and style student learning. The research design used research and development 4D models. This interactive digital media product supports the kinesthetic group is a material about phase transition of objects in video file. The results of media suitability by media experts and teachers show an average of 4.67. The results of material suitability by material experts and teachers showed an average of 4.41. The results of the appropriateness of language use by linguists and teachers show an average of 4.17. The results of the average score can be concluded that the media product interactive digital supporting the kinesthetic group is included in the criteria Very good. The student response questionnaire is also validated by lecturers and teachers with an average score of 4.8 and it can be concluded that This response questionnaire is very proper to be used. Besides that, the test questions also got the validation stage by lecturers and teachers with an average score of 4.15 and it can be concluded that the test questions is proper.The next, the media has been validated and revised, then some revisions can be used in the teaching and learning process. As for the results of Student responses with a total of 27 students obtained an average of 3.79 means this media is proper to use. In addition, the results of the average test scores of participants student is 90.93 or the result in percentage is 95% as a very good conclusion. Thus, digital media interactive kinesthetic group support is effective and able to provide impact on improving student learning outcomes in the material namely transition object.

Abstract

How children acquire their first language has always been a question of debate between generativists and cognitive functionalists. Crain and Nakayama (1987) attempt to support the notion that children are innately equipped with syntactic rules and such rules are not learned by the child. They want to persuade functionalist linguists with the rightness of the innateness of the structure-dependent hypothesis (i.e. Universal Grammar/UG and poverty of the stimulus notion). To be precise, Crain and Nakayama discuss the Chomskyain “movement transformation” hypothesis (.i.e. subject/aux inversion in structures with relative clauses). They claim that children do not make errors when attempting to make polar interrogatives from relative clauses; as a result, they reserve the verb inside the relative clause and move the auxiliary in the main clause to the front. For example, children would not form structures like *Is the author who writing this task is confused? This is attributable to the claim that children are innately wired with structure-dependent rule. That is to say, children resort to what so-called innate schematism (UG principles) when they form yes/no questions. This assertion is based on nothing more than the claim that no structure-dependence errors were found so far in the child’s speech. Also, they conclude that grammar and meaning are disconnected from “the autonomy of syntax”. To support their view, Crain and Nakayama conducted a study on thirty children whose age ranged from three to five. This paper is primarily intended to critically review Crain and Nakayama’s article and discuss the structure-dependence rule in favour of both a formalist and cognitive functionalist point of view.

Abstract

Abstrak Melakukan inovasi proses pembelajaran dalam perkuliahan mahasiswa PGSD merupakan sebuah tuntutan, agar dapat memberikan motivasi dan gambaran pentingnya perubahan pendekatan pembelajaran pada mahasiswa. Makalah ini bertujuan mengkaji Eksplorasi Ethnosains “Seni Jidor” sebagai Tugas Produk Konsep Bunyi Dalam Pembelajaran Mahasiswa PGSD. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Obyek sasaran penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya angkatan 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tugas produk pembuatan alat musik Jidor sederhana sebagai Eksplorasi Ethnosains Konsep Bunyi dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar konsep bunyi yang lebih nyata, mengakaktifkan, menyenangkan, dan mengesankan sehingga memberikan hasil belajar yang tinggi (76% memenuhi KKM) pada mahasiswa PGSD. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa eksplorasi ethnosains “seni jidor” sebagai tugas produk konsep bunyi dalam pembelajaran mahasiswa PGSD dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar konsep bunyi yang lebih nyata, mengakaktifkan, menyenangkan, dan mengesankan serta hasil belajar yang tinggi pada mahasiswa.Kata Kunci : Eksplorasi, Ethnosains, Seni Jidor Abstract Innovating the learning process in PGSD student lectures is a requirement, in order to provide motivation and illustrate the importance of changing learning approaches for students. This paper aims to examine the ethnoscience exploration of "SeniJidor" as a sound concept product assignment in PGSD student learning. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The target object of this research is PGSD Students of PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya Class of 2022. The results of the research show that the product task of making simple Jidor musical instruments as an Ethnoscience Exploration of Sound Concepts can provide a more real, activating, enjoyable and impressive learning experience of sound concepts so as to provide good learning outcomes. high (76% meets the KKM) among PGSD students. Thus, it can be concluded that the ethnoscience exploration of "jidor art" as a sound concept product assignment in PGSD student learning can provide a more real, activating, enjoyable and impressive sound concept learning experience as well as high learning outcomes for students.Keywords : Exploration, Ethnoscience, Jidor Art

Abstract

Preparing HOTS-based teaching materials is a competency that teachers must have. Elementary school teachers are required to have the ability to create teaching materials that encourage students to be motivated in observing everything around them, asking questions, and thinking creatively and critically so that they can explore the competencies of elementary school students. The aim of holding this PPM is so that elementary school teachers in the Gresik area will increase their competence in preparing teaching materials, especially for preparing HOTS-based teaching materials. The method used is descriptive qualitative with instruments in the form of interview sheets, questionnaires, and documentation related to the implementation of community service or PPM. PPM participants consisted of 25 elementary school teachers in the Gresik area. As a result, after the PPM activities were carried out, the competency of elementary school teachers in preparing HOTS-based teaching materials increased. This can be seen from every aspect of making HOTS-based teaching materials that has been fulfilled, this is because the human resources of elementary school teachers in the Gresik area already have a profile that supports their competency abilities.
