Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs for a Differential Calculus teaching module that supports independent learning among students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at FMIPA UNM Makassar. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, independent learning is essential for developing creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to technological change. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through diagnostic tests, classroom observations, questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis of existing teaching materials. The findings reveal that students expect a teaching module that not only presents theoretical content but also includes real-life applications, visual simulations, and contextual examples to facilitate understanding of abstract mathematical concepts such as derivatives. Students also prefer materials that use simple and structured language, step-by-step examples, topic summaries, and practice questions with immediate feedback. Furthermore, students highly value digital and interactive formats that can be accessed via mobile devices, supporting flexible and autonomous learning. This study highlights the importance of developing need-based teaching modules that are student-centered, visually engaging, and technologically integrated. Such modules are expected to enhance independent learning, improve student motivation, and deepen conceptual understanding of differential calculus. The results also provide a foundation for designing similar learning resources for other abstract and complex courses in mathematics education.

Abstract

Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) merupakan ajang kompetisi ilmiah yang menuntut penguasaan konsep matematika secara mendalam serta kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analitis. Untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas peserta dari wilayah Sulawesi Selatan, telah dilaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan persiapan OSN 2025 pada bidang Matematika untuk materi Aljabar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperkuat pemahaman materi, melatih keterampilan problem solving, serta membekali guru pembimbing dengan strategi pembinaan yang efektif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui platform Zoom pada tanggal 31 Mei 2025 dan diikuti oleh 23 peserta yang terdiri atas siswa dan guru pembimbing dari berbagai sekolah. Pendampingan berlangsung dalam dua sesi, masing-masing berdurasi dua jam, dengan materi disampaikan oleh mentor berpengalaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta cukup memahami materi yang disampaikan, meskipun interaksi berupa pertanyaan masih terbatas. Kendati demikian, keterlibatan peserta tetap aktif, terlihat dari respons terhadap kesalahan penulisan yang muncul selama sesi berlangsung. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesiapan peserta menghadapi OSN serta mendorong keberlanjutan program pembinaan di daerah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the daily Salat Dhuha routine before classroom activities and its impact on the development of students’ religious character at SD Negeri 215 Bengkulu Utara. The academic concern driving this research lies in the limited exploration of routine worship practices as a character-building strategy within public elementary schools. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved teachers, the principal, and students as key informants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, display, and verification. The findings reveal that the Salat Dhuha routine strengthens discipline, enhances worship consistency, fosters emotional calmness, and cultivates responsibility, all of which are reflected in students’ behaviors during the learning process. Teachers’ exemplary conduct, supportive school culture, and established habituation programs further contribute to the effectiveness of the initiative. Despite its strengths, the program faces challenges including students’ varying developmental levels, limited facilities, and the need for continuous teacher development. These findings highlight the importance of integrating religious practices into daily learning structures as a sustainable strategy for nurturing students’ spiritual and behavioral growth.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas manajerial mahasiswa melalui pelatihan administrasi organisasi berbasis digital. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Administrasi Pendidikan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Makassar yang tergabung dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi awal, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa belum memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang administrasi organisasi serta minim dalam penggunaan aplikasi digital untuk mendukung kegiatan organisasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara luring selama tiga hari dan mencakup materi mengenai dasar- dasar administrasi organisasi, praktik penggunaan aplikasi digital seperti Google Docs, Trello, dan Google Calendar, serta simulasi kolaboratif penyusunan dokumen. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, yang menunjukkan peningkatan skor dari rata-rata 46 menjadi 81. Selain itu, hasil tugas akhir peserta menunjukkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menyusun dokumen organisasi secara digital dan sistematis. Pelatihan ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan teknis, serta kesadaran mahasiswa terhadap pentingnya literasi digital dalam pengelolaan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai model pengembangan kapasitas manajerial mahasiswa di era transformasi digital

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on the vulnerability of Sharia commercial banks in Indonesia for the period 2020-2024. The main problem studied is the extent to which internal banking factors, especially capital, financing risk, and liquidity, affect the level of vulnerability (vulnerability) of the Islamic banking system as measured using the Z-score approach. This research occupies an important position in filling the gap of empirical studies on the financial stability of Islamic banking through a quantitative approach based on pooled time series (Pooled OLS) data using EViews 13 software. The method used is a quantitative approach with regression analysis techniques pooled time series data (pooled OLS) using software EViews 13. The results showed that CAR and NPF had a positive but not significant effect on vulnerability, while FDR had a negative and significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect the vulnerability of Islamic banks. This result confirms that the stability of Islamic banking is influenced by a combination of capital strength, financing quality, and intermediation efficiency in maintaining financial resilience in accordance with Islamic economic principles.  Keywords : Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non-Performing Financing, Financing to Deposit Ratio, Vulnerability, Islamic Banking

Abstract

Bullying is one of the main risk factors for mental health disorders in adolescents and is significantly correlated with increased suicidal ideation. This study aims to develop a predictive model of suicidal ideation risk in bullying victims using a questionnaire data-based machine learning approach as the basis for the development of an early warning system. The study used a predictive quantitative design involving 350 respondents who had experienced bullying. The variables analyzed included demographic factors, experiences of bullying, as well as psychological indicators such as depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and social support. Four classification algorithms were compared, namely Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and XGBoost. The results show that XGBoost has the best performance with an accuracy of 91% and a ROC-AUC of 0.94. The most influential variables on risk prediction were depression scores, social support, anxiety, and bullying frequency. These findings show that the machine learning approach is effective in supporting early detection of the risk of suicidal ideation and has the potential to be implemented as an early warning system in the educational environment.
