Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a serious public health concern in Indonesia, including in Probolinggo Regency. One preventive measure undertaken is the Mosquito Nest Eradication Program (Program Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk or PSN) 3M Plus, which involves the role of jumantik (mosquito larvae monitoring) cadres and active community participation. However, public satisfaction with the program's implementation remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze the influence of health service quality, specifically the quality of jumantik cadre socialization and the quality of program implementation on community satisfaction in Asembagus Village, Kraksaan District, Probolinggo Regency. A quantitative inferential method was used, with data collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. A total of 138 respondents were selected using the Slovin formula from a population of 210 households. Regression analysis results show that the quality of PSN 3M Plus program implementation has a significant effect on community satisfaction (sig. 0.004 < 0.05), whereas the quality of jumantik cadre socialization does not (sig. 0.597 > 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 6.4% indicates that most of the variation in community satisfaction is influenced by factors outside the studied variables. The main conclusion of this study is that improving field-level implementation quality—including accuracy, community participation, and program sustainability is key to the program’s success. The implications highlight the need for more interactive socialization strategies and community-based health services to enhance DHF prevention efforts and increase public satisfaction.

Abstract

Kota Probolinggo merupakan daerah pesisir di Jawa Timur dengan potensi sumber daya alam dan kearifan lokal yang melimpah. Namun, masyarakat pesisir di Kota Probolinggo menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan modal usaha, rendahnya diversifikasi usaha, serta permasalahan sosial yang kompleks. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, pemerintah Kota Probolinggo bekerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat untuk mengembangkan program pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir melalui kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal.Melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), program ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat pesisir dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan, mulai dari identifikasi potensi, pelatihan kewirausahaan, pendampingan usaha, hingga pengembangan dan pemasaran produk. Tujuan utama program ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas kewirausahaan masyarakat, mengembangkan produk inovatif berbasis sumber daya alam setempat, dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir secara berkelanjutan. Hasil dari program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir yang dapat diterapkan di daerah lain dengan karakteristik serupa

Abstract

Traditional markets play a vital role in supporting the local economy and preserving cultural heritage. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 02 of 2012 Article 6 &7, with a case study at Semampir Market, Probolinggo Regency. The research adopts a qualitative approach using case study methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the regulation's implementation remains suboptimal due to issues such as inadequate supervision, insufficient infrastructure, and competition from modern markets. Nevertheless, efforts from local governments and stakeholders have been made to improve market management and competitiveness. A more integrated strategy is needed to establish sustainable and competitive traditional markets. Keywords: traditional market, regional regulation, empowerment, policy implementation

Abstract

Program Bunda Mandiri Sejahtera (BISA) Yatim Mandiri di Desa Sumber Suko merupakan program pemberdayaan ekonomi bagi janda dhuafa yang menekankan pendekatan holistik. Program ini memberikan bantuan modal usaha, pelatihan keterampilan wirausaha (termasuk budidaya jamur), pembinaan keagamaan dan pengasuhan anak, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Meskipun menunjukkan dampak positif pada peningkatan ekonomi sebagian besar peserta, program ini masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mencapai keberhasilan yang merata di antara para bunda yatim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data berupa narasi yang diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Keberhasilan program diukur melalui tingkat kemandirian ekonomi, motivasi, dan kontribusi sosial para peserta. Studi kasus Ibu Masriah dan Ibu Intanawati menunjukkan keberhasilan program dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi melalui budidaya jamur. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan strategi pendampingan dan memastikan keberhasilan program secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This research investigates the relevance of development in the city and town of Probolinggo through a quantitative and qualitative approach using development risk analysis. Development risk analysis is used to prove the assumption that the level of social development risk in an area can reflect the level of sustainable development. This research was conducted in Probolinggo City, East Java as one of the areas where development in the fields of tourism, business, and economy is being promoted. The data collection method is carried out by conducting a survey whose results are analyzed to produce the level of development and risk in the development and risk index measure. The research results show that the lower the risk of developing a city in Probolinggo City, the greater the sustainable development achievements in Probolinggo City. These findings can make a significant contribution to the development of regional development policies. The implications of this research can be the basis for developing more effective development strategies by considering social risk factors as the main indicators. This research concludes that the level of economic, social, and ecological risk from the implementation of development in the city of Probolinggo is very low.

Abstract

Abstrack: In today's era, employee welfare is very important. Because with the welfare of employees, it can improve the quality and quality of the employees themselves in an agency or company. Often we still find problems in the field regarding the welfare of employees, such as temporary employees. There are still many honorary employees who do not feel or enjoy the welfare of their hard work. Especially in areas and in remote areas. Therefore, the central government in order to accommodate the aspirations of honorary employees and civil society, the government created a program for non-PNS ASN (State Civil Apparatus) employees, namely the PPPK Program. It is hoped that this program will be able to improve the welfare of the community and provide a sense of calm in the community for their lives. The Probolinggo City Government is one of the cities in Indonesia that has begun to select and implement the PPPK program in the scope of its personnel. This is reflected, in 2019, the Probolinggo City Government recruited PPPK. The PPPK program is an implementation of the regulation of Law No. 5 of 2014. The PPPK program or also called Government Employees with Work Agreements, every ASN with PPPK status gets the same rights and facilities as civil servants. PPPK has the same obligations and rights as civil servants with civil servant status. It is hoped that this journal will be able to provide broad and specific knowledge of the PPPK program, especially within the Probolinggo City Government. Abstract

Political education is a process and learning about the rights, duties and responsibilities of every citizen in the life of the nation and state. The implementation of the civil service program raises the problem of a lack of understanding of political education ahead of the election from the point of view of Law no. 7 of 2017 for residents of the Traditional Village of Dringu District. To overcome these problems, political education advice is given with the aim of increasing knowledge, understanding, understanding and awareness as well as interest in voicing the right to vote in elections. The method used is to speak directly to the community. Political education in elections in the democratic state of Indonesia is considered to be still not high. Due to mixed feelings, many people voted for white citizens (abstained) in the elections. One effort to overcome this problem is to organize political education for the indigenous people themselves. Indigenous peoples are expected to become a generation of political education and political conditions, punishment for disturbance and understanding of political education in one of its parts. Promoting political education also strives for local cultural communities not only to become political objects but also to act as political subjects. Keywords: Educatian, politics, and elections.

Abstract

Teenagers are individuals between the ages of 12 and 18, and they are an important part of our society. Teenagers today face many challenges, including conflict problems and early marriage. Conflict can disrupt the learning process and make it difficult for students to concentrate and reach their full potential. Early marriage, on the other hand, can have broader negative consequences, including poorer health outcomes, lower employment opportunities, and lack of education. Early marriages that occur in Randupitu village are very high because many teenagers who marry are not yet old enough. This research uses the community service method with qualitative descriptive presentation. In order to clearly explain the implementation that has been carried out in the field. The research subject is the OSIS of SMPN 1 Gending which is located in Rondokuning, Randupitu, Gedning subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. The implementation method is by holding outreach to provide motivation to students regarding the importance of education and early marriage by eliminating feelings of boredom in students. Providing motivation about the importance of education by eliminating feelings of boredom is an important achievement that can make it possible to minimize early marriage in Randupitu village. This activity emphasizes the importance of education for teenagers so they can plan a good future for their families and children. The OSIS of SMPN 1 Gending has recognized the role of teenagers in education by having principles and themselves in reducing feelings of excitement. The students know that these teenagers have a very important role in realizing the nation's ideals.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia telah mengadopsi berbagai program strategis dalam upaya memajukan sektor industri dan meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi kepegawaian. Salah satunya melalui program Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja. Program ini memiliki potensi besar untuk memberikan dampak positif pada pertumbuhan sektor industri dan administrasi kepegawaian, tetapi perlu dievaluasi secara menyeluruh untuk mengukur pencapaian tujuan strategisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi Program Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja bidang industri melalui penerapan rencana strategis dalam efisiensi administrasi kepegawaian. Tujuan utama adalah untuk memahami dampak program ini pada pertumbuhan sektor industri, efisiensi administrasi kepegawaian, dan dampaknya pada masyarakat dan perekonomian nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen, penelusuran literatur, dan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang penerapan rencana strategis dalam program-program Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja. Penelitian ini juga mengintegrasikan data sebelum dan sesudah program untuk membandingkan dampak program tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan rencana strategis memiliki peran kunci dalam mengarahkan program-program Dinas Perindustrian dan Tenaga Kerja, mengukur kinerja, dan meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi kepegawaian. Program-program yang sesuai dengan rencana strategis cenderung lebih berhasil dalam mencapai tujuan strategisnya. Dampak positif juga terlihat dalam pertumbuhan sektor industri, penciptaan lapangan kerja, dan kontribusi pada perekonomian nasional.
