Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dalam proses pembelajara IPA, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya minat belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan meia pembelajaran game edukasi berorientasi model make a match dengan menggunakan articulate storyline 3 pada materi mengubah bentuk energi untuk siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Subjek pengembangan pada penelitian ini adalah produk berupa media pembelajaran game edukasi berorientasi model make a match dengan menggunakan articulate storyline 3. Sedangkan objek pengembangannya adalah validitas isi dan respons pengguna produk yaitu guru serta siswa. Subjek uji coba melibatkan 9 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Bunutan dengan kemampuan kognitif yang berbeda. Metode dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, rating scale, dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran game edukasi berorientasi model make a match dengan menggunakan articulate storyline 3 memperoleh tingkat validitas isi sebesar 0,9, tingkat validitas media pembelajaran sebesar 0,8, respons guru sebesar 97,2%, dan respons siswa sebesar 94,4%. Hasil penelitian tersebut membuktikan bahwa, inovasi media pembelajaran game edukasi berorientasi model make a match dengan menggunakan articulate storyline 3 memiliki tingkat validitas isi sangat valid, validitas media pembelajaran sangat valid, respons guru terhadap media sangat baik, dan respons siswa terhadap media berkualifikasi sangat baik. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa, media pembelajaran terbukti layak untuk digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi siswa khususnya di SD yang masih terbilang rendah menyebabkan banyak siswa yang terlihat kesulitan dalam berdiskusi baik dengan teman maupun guru, sehingga siswa juga kesulitan dalam menjelaskan kesimpulan dari hasil diskusi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Time Token terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD yang berjumlah 304 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling dan didapatkan 2 sekolah yang mana kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 32 siswa dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 31 siswa. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode non test (lembar observasi) dan test (soal pilihan ganda). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial berupa Uji-T dan MANOVA. Hasil penelitian ini dikuatkan berdasarkan perhitungan Uji-T pada hipotesis I dan II yang seluruhnya memperoleh hasil nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan berdasarkan perhitungan uji MANOVA pada hipotesis III memperoleh hasil nilai F=211,211 serta nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model kooperatif tipe Time Token terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah model kooperatif tipe Time Token dapat efektif meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD.

Abstract

Kurangnya ketersediaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan video pembelajaran berbasis Wondershare Filmmora pada materi perkembangbiakan tumbuhan muatan IPAS untuk meningkatakan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model ADDIE (Analyse, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Subjek uji coba dilakukan kepada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan kemampuan sangat tinggi, tinggi dan rendah. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, tes dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil uji kevalidan media dikategorikan valid, selain itu pada hasil analisis oleh para ahli praktisi dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Hasil t-hitung (18,046 lebih dari  t-tabel (2,131). Hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 di terima. Oleh karena itu didapatkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan media video pembelajaran berbasis Wondershare Fillmora terhadap kemampuan berpikir kratif siswa pada materi perkembangbiakan tumbuhan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Simpulan penelitian yaitu media video pembelajaran berbasis wondershare fillmora yang telah dikembangkan, dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan ini memberikan implikasi pada minat belajar siswa yang nantinya berpengaruh pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang dapat meningkat.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in IPAS subjects in the third grade of elementary school, particularly in the material on the life cycle of living things, is the main focus of this study. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of the Fun Thinkers Book, a context-based learning tool, as an educational aid to improve student learning outcomes. The research design employed is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which consists of the following stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects include one class of third-grade students. Data collection techniques were conducted through questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes, using instruments such as expert validation questionnaires and learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study indicate that the use of the Fun Thinkers Book significantly improves students' IPAS learning outcomes. This media proved effective in presenting material in a contextual and engaging manner, as well as encouraging active student participation during the learning process. This study concluded that the Fun Thinkers Book media, based on a contextual approach, is suitable and effective for supporting improvements in student learning outcomes in IPAS. Implicitly, this media can serve as an innovative learning strategy alternative in creating a more meaningful and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Elementary school students' motivation to learn and science learning outcomes remain relatively low due to conventional teaching approaches and limited student involvement in the learning process. This study aims to analyse the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by crossword puzzles on the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students in science. This study used a quantitative, quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent post-test-only control group. The research subjects were 72 students. Data collection was conducted using a learning motivation questionnaire and a multiple-choice science learning outcomes test. Data were analysed using parametric statistical techniques, namely the t-test (independent sample t-test), after going through the prerequisite analysis tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the study show that the MANOVA analysis presented in Table 4.15 indicated that the significance values for each Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root were less than 0.05, so H0 was rejected. The study's conclusions indicate that the crossword-assisted TGT model significantly influences students' learning motivation and science learning outcomes. The implications of this study suggest that TGT-based learning supported by crossword puzzles can be an innovative alternative for improving the quality of science learning in elementary schools

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to design, develop, and validate a culturally adapted Digital Fun Thinkers learning tool to enhance scientific conceptualization and learning responsibility among deaf and hard-of-hearing elementary students in Bengkala Village, Bali, Indonesia. Methodology: This study employed the ADDIE instructional design model and a one-group pretest–posttest quasi-experimental design. The Digital Fun Thinkers tool was developed as an interactive multimedia application. Data were analyzed using Aiken’s V, paired-sample t-test, and normalized gain (N-Gain). Main Findings: Expert validation indicated high validity (media experts: V = 0.9583; material experts: V = 0.9350) and very practical use (user satisfaction = 81.39%). Students’ scientific conceptualization improved significantly (t = -37.997, p < 0.001; N-Gain = 0.7338, large effect). Learning responsibility averaged 66.28 (very high category). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a culturally grounded digital learning tool integrating Kata Kolok sign language, gamified features, and local scientific contexts for deaf learners. It advances inclusive science education by providing empirically validated, technology-enhanced resources tailored to marginalized DHH communities in rural settings.

Abstract

Growing learning motivation and science processing skill are very difficult because of limited learning time at school which result in the application of learning motivation and science processing skill less than optimal. Through application creativity learning model, it is expected to be able to achieve the objectives of this research which is to analyze creativity learning model toward learning motivation and science processing skill. This research classified into quasi-experimental and the design was non-equivalent post-test only control group. All fourth-grade students belonged to the population, contained 8 classes with 184 students. Technique for sample selection was random sampling and got experimental class with 31 students and control class with 30 students. Research instrument consist of questionnaire and essay test. Manova test was used to analyze the data and continue with LSD test. From the reseach, the result showed the significant effect toward learning motivation and science processing skill that proven by significance score 0.000 that means less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and based on LSD test, ∆µ was less than LSD.. The findings portrayed learning motivation and science processing skill positively influenced by creativity learning model. Creativity learning model is suitable for dealing with low learning motivation and science processing skills and would be problem solving about learning especially in the use of learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to figure out the effect of quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha toward natural science learning outcomes. This research was an experimental research design with non-equivalent post-test only control group.. The research populations were all fourth grades students of cluster III Kintamani academic years 2019/2020 with 127 students in total. Research sample was determined through simple random sampling with lottery; as a result, 22 fourth grades students of SDN Abuan became the experimental class and 20 fourth grades students of SDN Bayung Gede became the control group. Data collection used was natural science learning outcomes test. The data were analyzed through ttest. Based on the analysis, this research portrayed that there was an effect of quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha toward natural science learning outcomes. The analysis result showed that t-score was 4.879 while t-table with 5% significance was 2.021. The average score of the group that got quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was 20.27 with high category, and the average score of the group that did not get quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was 13.85 with medium/normal category. It meant that the average score of the group that got quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was higher than the average score of the group that did not get the same treatment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quantum learning model assisted by audio visual media on the self efficacy of fifth grade student in social studies subject in Elementary School at Gugus III Tembuku, Bangli in the academic year 2019/2020. This research was a quasi experimental study with a nonequivalent posttest only control grup design. The populations in this study were all fifth grade students of Gugus III Tembuku, Bangli in the academic year 2019/2020 with 186 students. The research sample consisted of 34 students in grade 5 of SD Negeri 5 Yangapi as an experimental grup and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Yangapi as a control group with 26 students. This research used data collection methods with non test techniques. The non-test technique used was a questionnaire to look for self-efficacy data for fifth grade students in social studies subjects. The data of this study were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistics (t-test). The average acquisition of the experimental group questionnaire was 98, while the average results of the control group questionnaire was 89, 96. Based on the significance level of 5% and dk = 58, it was obtained ttable = 2.001 while the value of tcount = 4.935. So tcount> ttable which proved that H0 is rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an influence of the quantum learning model assisted by audio visual media on the self efficacy of Grade 5 students in Social Sciences of Elementary School Gugus III Tembuku, Bangli in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

Learning process is a learning activity for students which can cause the changes of students’ behavior that also called as learning interest. Student learning interests affect student enthusiasm and activeness in the learning process. So students have high spirits to be able to improve learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can be used to increase students’ learning interest and learning outcomes in natural science subjects is the creativity learning model.This study aims to determine the effect of the creativity learning model on learning interest and learning outcomes of natural sciences in grade 5 students of Elementary School I Cluster Buleleng District. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent posttest only control group research design. The populations in this study were all fifth grade students of Elementary School I Cluster Buleleng District totaling 209 students. The sample of this research was the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Banyuning as an experimental group totaling 29 students and the fifth grade students of SDN 8 Banyuning as a control group totaling 30 students. This study used test and non-test methods, learning interest data were collected using a questionnaire and data on natural science learning outcomes were collected using essay tests. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and the MANOVA test. The average scores of the questionnaire for learning interest in the experimental group was 116.14 with "very good" category and the control group was 34.7 with "bad" category. Hypothesis test results showed F = 9582,776. The results of the study had a significance of 0,000 <0.05. Based on the analysis of these data H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an influence of the Creativity Learning model on learning interest and learning outcomes of natural sciences in grade 5 students of Elementary School I Cluster Buleleng District.
