Abstract

Tomato is currently one of the high economic value horticultural commodities and still requires serious treatment, especially in terms of increasing the yield and growth of tomatoes. This research will be carried out by Hospitality Laboratory in STIEPARI Semarang. The material used is tomato and sugar. The method used is making tomato dates, observing the deterioration kinetics of tomato candied quality, estimating shelf life of tomato sweets and adding sugar. The results of this study indicate that preservation of fresh tomatoes into tomato dates to increase the storability of plant foods (P <0.05). Vegetable food has a high fiber content so that the physical properties of plant foods, so that with a preservation system using sugar can increase the shelf life of vegetable products. Research result Based on the organoleptic results (color) of tomato dates presented in the table, it shows that tomato dates with the addition of sugar as much as T0 (0% Tomato Dates 0% Sugar), T1 (Tomato Dates 30% Sucrose) both were still in the like category, while T2 Tomato Dates were 30% Lactose) and T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) both were in the very like category. Based on the organoleptic results (aroma) of tomato dates presented in the table, it shows that tomato dates with the addition of sugar as much as T0 (0% Tomato Dates 0% Sugar), T1 (Tomato Dates 30% Sucrose) and T2 (Tomato Dates 30% Lactose) are still in the category likes, while T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) is in the very like category. While at T2 (30% Lactose Tomato Dates) showed liking, and T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) showed very liking. While the formula T3 Tomato Dates 30% Fructose) which shows the category of very like. namely the addition of 40gr lactose as much as 84% while the lowest lactose content was the addition of 20gr lactose as much as 20gr.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai indikator peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat melalui wirausaha dan pemanfaatan model pembangunan yang mensinergikan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan (Green economy). Pemberdayaan perempuan menjadi strategi penting dalam potensi diri agar lebih mampu mandiri dan berkarya. Permasalahan muncul, masyarakat belum siap dalam penerimaan kedatangan wisatawan sebagai wisata edukasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mempersiapkan masyarakat khususnya perempuan dalam berwirausaha melalui pemanfaatan tanaman obat biodiversitas sebagai wisata edukasi. Peran perempuan sebagai pemandu wisata dalam melayani kunjungan wisatawan. Maka, metode yang tepat dilakukan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui beberapa tahapan: sosialisasi, pendampingan, workshop, dan evaluasi. Mitra sasaran adalah pada masyarakat perempuan yang ada di Desa Branjang, khususnya pengelola tanaman toga. Jumlah sasaran ketercapaian 25 orang masyarakat perempuan. Hasil solusi yang ditawarkan terbentuknya masyarakat sadar wisata sekitar 100 %, terbentuknya kelompok pemandu wisata perempuan untuk kawasan konservasi tanaman obat 80%, dan pengadaan paket wisata 90%. Sehingga dapat dipromosikan kepada wisatawan, perluasan kawasan konservasi tanaman obat, terbentuknya kelompok baru konservasi tanaman obat dan pengemasan produk minuman tanaman obat sebagai usaha masayarakat perempuan di Desa dalam peningkatan ekonomi dan usaha baru yang menguntungkan bagi keluarga dan Desa.Abstract: Empowering women as a sign of boosting local economies through entrepreneurship and the application of development methods that promote both economic growth and improvements in environmental quality (green economy). In order to increase women's self-potential and increase their capacity for independence and employment, empowerment is a crucial tactic. There are issues since the locals are not prepared to welcome visitors on instructional trips. The purpose of this service is to prepare the community, especially women, for entrepreneurship through the utilization of medicinal plants with high biodiversity for educational tourism. The role of women is as tour guides who serve tourist trips. Therefore, this community service program's proper methodology involves a number of stages, including socialisation, counselling, workshops, and evaluation. The women's community in Branjang Village, in particular the manager of the toga plant, are the target partners. Fulfilment of the overall goal of 25 female community members. The results of the proposed solutions are forming a tourism awareness community reached about 100%, training a group of female tour guides to the medicinal plant conservation area reached 80% and providing travel packages up to 90%. So that it can be promoted to tourists, the expansion of medicinal plant conservation areas, the formation of new medicinal plant conservation groups and the packaging of medicinal plant beverage products as a business for women in the village in improving the economy and new businesses that are profitable for families and villages.

Abstract

Performance is an achievement of the success or failure of organizational goals that have been set Information about organizational performance is a very important thing that is used to evaluate whether the performance process carried out by the organization so far is in line with the expected goals or not. In government agencies, the need is not much different. This study was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of performance management on the performance of managers in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) in Cimahi City. The research method used by researchers is descriptive and verification research. The number of samples studied was 30 people using saturated samples. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. From the results of data analysis conducted, it is proven that performance management can positively affect the performance of managers at the UPTD Freshwater Fish Seed Center (BBIAT) Cimahi City. The findings of this study are that there is an effect of performance management on the performance of managers at UPTD BBIAT Cimahi city, while the magnitude of the influence of the performance management variable is 0.776 or 77.6%, and the remaining 22.4% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

In general, the development of a company is certainly inseparable from the Human Resources (HR) within it. There is a lot of history of a company being able to achieve extraordinary rapid development due to the professionalism of HR which is very well managed. This community service aims to 1) Increase knowledge and understanding of effective digital marketing strategies for HR at Kala Hotel Semarang. 2) Improve Kala Hotel Semarang's ability to manage digital platforms such as social media, websites and SEO and 3) Assist Human Resources or Kala Hotek employees in developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and reach market targets. So the result of this service is to open up insight to hotel HR about the importance of digital marketing in the industry by always contributing individually without coercion and being able to create interesting and effective social media content so that the media can become promotional material.

Abstract

Kabupaten Magelang merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang memiliki jumlah desa wisata terbanyak di jawa tengah sebanyak 28 desa wisata no 3 setelah Kabupaten Kudus dan Kabupaten Rembang. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan keunggulan bersaing destinawi wisata glamping Saung Krincing Msen di Desa Wisata Mangli, Kecamatan Kaliangkrik, Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitain ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif deskriptif analitik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancana dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif data kualitatif matrik SWOT analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan data penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung di Desa Wisata Mangli ini adalah wisatawan domestik dengan tingkat pendidikan dan pendapatan yang bermacam-macam. Faktor internal destinasi glamping pengelola yang memperngaruhi keunggulan bersaing destinawi wisata glamping adalah potensi alam berupa Gunung Sumbing , suasana alam yang asri, keramahan pengelola dan masyarakat desa penduduk lokal dan tentu harga yang terjangkau. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi keunggulan bersaing destinasi ini adalah eksesibilitas yang mudah, tetapi pada promosi destinasi masih kurang intens dan tentu persaingan dengan destinasi glamping lainnya yang ada di area Kecamatan Kaliangkrik maupun desa wisata yang ada di sekitarnya. Strategi kedepannya dalam pengembangan keunggulan bersaing destinasi wisata glamping pada Desa Wisata mangli adalah dengan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, fasilitas glamping, meningkatkan promosi, mengembangkan paket wisata yang menarik, menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak-pihak terkait dan mengembangkan tempat hiburan yang lainnya untuk wisatawan dimana tidak hanya menikmati glamping berkemah itu sendiri tetapi ada aktivitas lainnya, diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini menjadi manfaat dan berkonstribusi untuk mengembangkan Desa Wisata Mangli secara umum dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan bagi pengelola, karyawan dan masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand and assess the contribution of transfer funds and intellectual capital to the financial sustainability of local governments. Understanding more deeply how external factors such as fund transfers and internal factors that reflect intellectual capital affect the financial sustainability of local governments can help local governments optimize available resources and face various complex economic challenges in the future. This research method uses a quantitative research method with a correlational approach. Multiple Regression Analysis is the analysis method used to determine the impact of fund transfers and intellectual capital on local governments' financial sustainability. The link is expressed mathematically. The study's conclusions indicate that (1) fund transfers have a positive and significant impact on financial sustainability, and (2) intellectual capital has a positive and significant impact on financial sustainability.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of hybrid work arrangements in enhancing employee productivity at PDAM Kabupaten Semarang Cabang Salatiga, aiming to understand how flexible work models impact work performance and collaboration. Utilizing a qualitative research design, the study collects data through semi-structured interviews with employees, managers, and human resources personnel, along with document analysis to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The findings reveal that hybrid work arrangements improve productivity by offering flexibility, reducing commuting time, and enhancing work-life balance. However, challenges such as communication gaps, collaboration issues, and technological disparities were identified as barriers to optimal productivity. The research highlights the importance of reliable technology, inclusive practices, and support mechanisms to address these challenges. The study's value lies in offering insights into how hybrid work can be optimized for improved employee performance and organizational success, while also contributing original knowledge on the intersection of flexible work models and productivity. The findings have practical implications for organizations considering or already implementing hybrid work models, suggesting strategies for overcoming obstacles and enhancing productivity in hybrid environments

Abstract

This community service program aims to address the problem of UNNES students' involvement in clubbing and promiscuity activities through a hospitality and sustainable tourism education approach. The activity was carried out on January 24, 2025 at Jogan Gumelar Borobudur involving 47 of the target 50 students in semesters 2 and 4. The program implementation methods include service excellence training, sharing tourism industry experiences, personal branding workshops, and ongoing mentoring. The results of the program showed an increase in participants' understanding by 30.2% (from an average pre-test score of 65.5 to a post-test of 85.3) regarding industry standards and hospitality ethics. As many as 89% of participants committed to avoiding clubbing and 92% understood the importance of professional ethics in the tourism industry. The participation rate reached 94% with a composition of 65% women and 35% men. This program contributes to forming quality and integrated tourism human resources through the integration of hospitality values with student character building. The obstacles faced included 15% of participants being late, unstable internet connection, and limited discussion time, but these could be overcome through the implementation of a strict attendance system, committee hotspot backup, and the addition of online discussion sessions.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at the Aneka Keripik Pawon Nayla UMKM located in Blimbing Hamlet, Parakan Village, Rowosari District, Kendal Regency. The main problem faced by partners is that product packaging is still simple and unattractive, only using plain plastic without labels or informative designs. This has an impact on the limited marketing reach and product competitiveness. The purpose of this activity is to increase product selling power by improving packaging design to be more attractive and informative. The implementation methods include: 1) Survey and analysis of existing packaging, 2) Workshop on attractive and informative packaging design, 3) Making a new packaging prototype, 4) Evaluation and refinement of the design. The expected output targets are the creation of a new modern packaging design, increasing product selling value, and publication.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada edukasi dan pendampingan sertifikasi halal dan digital marketing yang memberikan dampak peningkatan dalam penjualan UMKM. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan pelatihan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) yang didasarkan pada pemberdayaan aset masyarakat. Tahapan ABCD meliputi 5 tahap yakni, 1) Inkulturasi, 2) Discovery, 3) Design, 4) Define, dan 5) Reflection. Pengabdian menghasilkan bahwa UMKM di Desa Pesawahan telah berhasil memahami pentingnya sertifikasi halal dan pemasaran digital, meningkatkan daya saing mereka, dan memperluas jangkauan produk secara signifikan yang mencerminkan peran krusial kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat lokal, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam mendukung pertumbuhan UMKM di era digital.
