This research is motivated by the studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts are still low and cooperation among students who are less intertwined. This reseacrh is aimed at knowing the studentâs mathematical concept by applying the active strategy learning with practice â rehearsal pairs type accompanied with LKS better than the understanding of studentâs mathematical concept by applying conventional learning. The type of this reserach is experimental that used random design on the subject. Population of this research is the studentâs of XI IPA2 which consist of four classes. This research used random sampling, XI IPA2 as experimental class, and XI IPA1 as control class. Instrument of this research is final test of studentâs understanding mathematical concept in the form of essay with the reliability test is 0,853, meaning given problem reliably. Based on the analysis of the data is known that both of the class sample  distribute normally and homogeneous on the real level   hypothesis test results obtained P-value = 0,003 less than  so, the hypothesis in this study received. Thus, it can be concluded the studentâs understanding mathematical concept by applying the active strategy learning with practice â rehearsal pairs type accompanied with LKS better than the understanding of studentâs mathematical concept by applying conventional learning.

This research was conducted based on the fact that the studentsâ understanding on mathematics concept was still low and the students seemed unable to answer the questions given by the teacher. This research was aimed atrevealing whether the use of Chained-Greeting and Question technique accompanied with Handout could improve the second year studentsâ understanding on mathematics concept better than that of conventional learning. The population of the research was the second year students of SMPN 3 Basa Ampek Balai. The data was collected through a post-test that used mathematics conceptual understanding indicators and scoring based on analytic rubric. The data gotten was analyzed by using t-test assisted with MINITAB. The result of this analysis showed that P-Value was 0.001 which was smaller than α=0.05 indicating that hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, it can be said that that the use of Chained- Greeting and Question technique accompanied with Handout could improve the second year studentsâ understanding on mathematics concept better than that of conventional learning at SMPN 3 Basa Ampek Balai in Academic Year 2013-2014.

The research was motivated by student comprehension mathematical concept was low, and the smart students  didnât want to share their knowledge with other students, so the  result in learning mathematic class of students  X SMAN 1 Canduang was low in academic year 2012/2013 . The purpose of this research to find out whether students  comprehension mathematical concept by implementing cooperative learning model TPS was better than  of used comprehension mathematical concept with conventional learning in class X SMAN 1 Canduang. The type of research was experimental research, the design of randomized trials on the subject . The population of this research was students of class X of SMAN 1 Canduang 2012/2013 academic year consisting of four classes. The ttechnique was random sampling , the sample was selected as the class, as a class experiment X3 and X2 as the control class . The instrument used in this study was written test essay form with reliability 0.72. The data of tests students in comprehension mathematical concepts was derived from the results of the final test comprehension mathematical concept. Based on the results of a quantitative analysis , the test of data to comprehension mathematical concepts , it is known that the two classes were normally distributed and the sample was not homogeneous on the real level α was 0.05 . Hypothesis was testing using the t test of the parties, obtained t was 5.354, so the research hypothesis was accepted . It can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts by implementing cooperative learning model TPS was better  than students to comprehension mathematical concepts with conventional teaching class X SMAN 1 Canduang.

The low students achievement in mathematics learning on MTsN Batang Kapas will become the background in this research. So, the purpose of the research is to find out whether does comprehension of mathematical concepts of students by using strategy learning cycle give significant effect better than mathematical concepts of students by using conventional study. The design of this research is experimental research. The population in this research is all of students at eight grade MTsN Batang Kapas in 2012/2013 academic years. Researcher thought the way of choosing sample by using random sampling, which is the sample of class VIIIA and VIIIB. In this case, the instrument that the researcher will use is comprehension of mathematical concepts. The form of this test is essay,  which is the reliability of this test is r11=0,85. Technique of data analysis will use ttest. Based on the hypothesis testing, P-value=0,035 < α=0,05. So, this hypothesis is accepted. The Background of this research was the comprehension of mathematical concepts. This research therefore aims to determine how studentsâ learning activities with the implementation of active learning strategy The  Power Of Two with student work sheet types and to determine whether student comprehension of mathematical concept by applying active learning strategy types The Power Of Two was better than the student comprehension of mathematis concepts with the application of learning conventional class IX student of SMPN 2 Dua Koto. This type of research was experimental research. Population in this research is class IX student of SMPN 2 Dua Koto consisting of three classes. The  sampling technique is done randomly, which was selected as the sample classes are class IX 3 as the experiments class and class IX 1 as the control class. The instrument used in this final test with indicator of comprehension the concept. Form of test used was  a form of essay with a reliability test was 0,709. Hypothesis testing use a t-test with the  of the software MINITAB. Based on the analysis of the data found P-value was less than  , then this hypothesis is accepted. Thus concluded that the student comprehension of mathematical concept with application of active learning strategy types The Power Of Two with student work sheet was better than the student comprehension of mathematis concept with coventional learning in class IX SMPN 2 Dua Koto Kabupaten Pasaman.

Background of this research the interest of students in learning mathematics is still less so the comprehension of mathematics concepts is low in VIII grade and it can be seen from math quiz point in VIII grade at SMPN 5 Padang academic year of 2013/2014. This research aimed to determine whether students comprehension of mathematics concepts by implementing cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together using Comic better than conventional learning in VIII grade at SMPN5 Padang. This type of research is experimental research using design randomized trials on the subject. The research population was a VIII grade at SMPN 5 Padang academic year of 2013/2014 except class VIII1 and VIII2 because it has a different Minimum Completeness Criteria. Technique sample using randomly, using class VIII3 as experimental class and class VIII5 as control class. The research instrument was a test of comprehension of mathematics concepts using the reliability = 0.78. The data analysis technique used is the one side t test using MINITAB software. Based on the analysis of the data found that the two sample classes are normally distributed and homogeneous at significance level α = 0.05. Hypothesis test results obtained P - value = 0.000 is less than α , the research hypothesis is accepted. The research was due to the lack of studentâ interest, motivation and activities during teaching and learning process. Students tent to be more individual. The teaching process was teacher-centered. The studentsâ understanding of mathematic concept was low. It was seen from their mathematic result. That was grade VIII students of SMPN I Basa Ampek Balai 2012/2013 year of entrance. The research aimed at understanding how far the students of grade VIII SMPN I Basa Ampek Balai understood the mathematic concep using active learning the Power of Two technique with a quiz, whether it was better than the convensional one. The design was experimental research using random sampling technique. The populasion was students of grade VIII SMPN I Basa Ampek Balai. Based on the result of random sampling tekhnique, grade VIII.4 was chosen as the experimental group, while the grade VIII.6 as the control group. The instrument used was a quiz and essay mathematic test. The reliability of the test was 0.825. Based  the data analysis, it was obtained tyhat both class were homogeny and normal. The technique analysis data used was one way to test. Based on the analysis of hypothesis using MINITAB, it was obtained that the p-value=0.002 was < α=0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded thad studentsâ math concept understanding using active learning The Power of Two with a quiz was better tahn that of conventional technique with the 95% degree of certainty.

This research are less of the studentâs activity and the low of the studentâs comprehention mathematics concept in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know how the studentâs activity  during learning process that apply technique Quick on The Draw and to determine that students comprehension mathematicalâs concept by implementation of technique Quick on The Draw  better than students comprehension mathematicalâs concept by implementation conventional learning in the class VIII SMPN 2 Rao Pasaman. The research type is experimental research, and the design was subject with a random. The population this research are students of class VIII SMPN 2 Rao Pasaman Academic Year 2012/2013. Samples were taken at random. The instrument in this research are observation sheet and final test students comprehension mathematicalâs concept. The test form of essay test with reliability test 0,83. Based on result of analysis observation sheet gain that the student more active during learning process that apply technique Quick on The Draw. The data analysis section  is U Mann-Whitney test by using Minitab. Hypotesis of research accepted because p-value  less than 0,05. The research based on the math grade VII SMPN 5 Padang that still low because it does not focus on learning and the learning atmosphere was not conducive and teachers rarely provide a conclusion at the end of the study. This research aims to find out if the results of the study of mathematics student with implementing strategi Genius Learning better than on the results of learning math students that apply to conventional learning at Class VII SMPN 5 Padang.A kind of this research is research experiments, population in this research is all the student Class VII SMPN 5 Padang academic year 2011/2012 as many as six local. The sample in this research is grade VII.7 as class experiments and student VII.8 as the class of the control. Instrument in research is written in the form of essay test with reliability = 0.76. data analysis techniques used are test-t party.Analysis of data performed with the help of software MINITAB, obnaited P-value = 0,007 smaller than standard α = 0,05.When.So inferred result learned mathematics student by applying strategy Genius Learning is better than learning the math student who apply learning conventional on class VII SMPN 5 Padang.

This study aims to determine whether students understanding of mathematical concepts by implementing  cooperative learning Make a better Match than the students  understanding of concepts with conventional  learning class VIII SMPN 1 Lengayang. This type of research is experimental research. Sampling Technique is random sampling, which was chosen as the experimental class and the control class VIII 3 is VIII 4. The instrument used in this study is the final test with a reliability study 0, 736. Based on the results of data analysis, the second class of samples are not normally distributed. Data analysis techniques use were Mann-Whitney  test. Hypothesis test results obtained probality = 0,0478. Seen that probality  is  the so the hypothesis of this study is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the students  understanding of mathematical concepts by implementing  cooperative learning Make a better Match than understanding of the concept of the convensional learning students in class VIII SMPN 1 Lengayang.
