Abstract

The Caesarean section (C-section) rate increased steadily in the past two decades in Indonesia. People have a common belief that cesarean delivery is less painful, and safer than vaginal delivery. Risk factors for maternal infection are clearly recognised, therefore Antibiotic prophylaxis at caesarean section is widely recommended to prevent maternal infection. The study was designed to evaluate antibiotic prophylaxis use for prevention of surgical site infections (SSIs). Retrospective review of medical records of all post SC patients who received antibiotic were evaluated during October 2021 to march 2022. Among 4 different antibiotics used in post SC patients, the most frequently requested were first generation cephalosporins (50,13%), third generation cephalosporins-ceftriaxone & cefotaxime (16,89% and 3,95%) and the least frequently requested were metronidazole infusion (3,86%). Antibiotic use in post SC patients are effective strategies in reducing SSIs patients which was proven by no patients with SSIs were found during the research period.

Abstract

Perencanaan, pengorganisasian, mobilisasi sumber daya masyarakat, dan pelaksanaan pengendalian merupakan langkah-langkah penting dalam proses mencapai tujuan. Pengelolaan yang efektif memerlukan kerja sama dari kedua belah pihak. Maka kedua belah pihak akan mendapat untung besar dari Anda. Karena sekolah tidak dapat berfungsi tanpa guru, maka guru dan sekolah merupakan mitra kerja sama yang saling menguntungkan dalam bidang pendidikan. Unsur terpenting dalam pendidikan adalah guru. Mata pelajaran akademik dirancang untuk memudahkan proses pembelajaran, dengan fokus pada kursus bahasa Inggris. Meskipun bahasa Inggris bukan bahasa umum di kalangan siswa, kursus ini memerlukan kamus dan Google Terjemahan untuk memahami bahasa tersebut, dan metodologi pengajarannya menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi dilakukan oleh pihak yayasan bersama kepala sekolah SMP dan SMA Informatika Tanah Merah Bangkalan serta dengan guru SMP dan SMA yang mengajarkan Bahasa Inggris, sehingga hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah menjalankan perannya di sekolah bagi para guru di sekolah tersebut, baik mata pelajaran umum maupun khusus, mengenai pengendalian kelas serta memotivasi tindakan dan mengarahkan guru pada pelajaran bahasa inggris. baik SMP maupun SMA di sekolah tersebut. Informatika berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Nurul Huda Kendaban Tanah Merah Bangkalan

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels above the normal limit. One thing that can influence the effectiveness of treatment therapy for Diabetes Mellitus patients is the possibility of drug interactions. This research is a type of descriptive research which aims to determine the possibility of oral antidiabetic drug interactions in patients at the Outpatient Installation of Dr.M.Yasin Hospital, Bone Regency. Research data collection was carried out by taking secondary data from outpatient prescriptions at the Dr. The data used is that the patient's prescription is collected and then identified whether it meets the inclusion and exclusion criteria. If a prescription has been obtained that meets the criteria, the prescription is recorded. The next step is to assess the possibility of drug interactions based on the application and drug interaction guidebook. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there is a possibility of oral antidiabetic drug interactions occurring in patients at the Outpatient Installation at Dr.M.Yasin Hospital, Regency. Bone from December 2014 to August 2015 with a percentage of 55.3% of the 38 research sample prescription sheets.

Abstract

Diabetes adalah penyakit metabolik yang bersifat kronis dan memiliki tanda terjadinya peningkatan kadar glukosa darah akibat resistensi insulin atau tubuh tidak mampu memproduksi insulin yang cukup. Diabetes mellitus dapat menimbulkan komplikasi apabila tidak segera ditangani dengan baik. Berbagai komplikasi yang muncul yaitu kerusakan pada beberapa organ tubuh lainnya seperti jantung, pembuluh darah, mata, ginjal dan saraf. Berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas tahun 2018, prevalensi diabetes mellitus di Indonesia berada di peringkat ke-7 diantara 10 negara tertinggi di dunia serta menduduki peringkat ke-6 tertinggi angka kematiannya di daerah pedesaan. Prevalensi diabetes mellitus pada tahun 2013 sebesar 6,3% meningkat menjadi 10,9% pada tahun 2018.  Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepatuhan diet diabetes terhadap kadar gula darah penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode studi literatur (Literature Review).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kepatuhan diet diabetes dengan kadar glukosa darah penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2.

Abstract

This research aims to study and find out how employee communication styles at PT. NSP can contribute to improving work performance and discipline. In a competitive business environment, employee performance and a high level of work discipline are the keys to achieving company success and growth. The application of communication styles in the workplace has become an increasingly relevant concern for managers and human resources practitioners in efforts to create a positive corporate culture. Decision making, communication channels, and character. This researcher uses a post-positivism paradigm, and this research uses qualitative methods. The results of this qualitative method show that the communication style of employees at PT. NSP is The Relinguishing Style because they prefer collaboration with teams and deliberation so they can exchange thoughts, input or ideas with other team members. As well as wanting a conducive working atmosphere so that ASNs can work more calmly and quickly.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of organizational justice, competence, and work motivation on the performance of Denpasar city government. The results indicated that organizational justice, competence, and work motivation had positive and significant effects on employee performance. When employees perceive fairness and justice within the organization, possess the necessary competencies, and are motivated to excel in their work, it positively impacts their performance. The combined influence of these variables accounted for 60.4% of the variance in employee performance, indicating a relatively strong relationship. Based on the findings, it is recommended that Government Office focus on promoting fairness and justice, developing employee competencies, and sustaining motivation to enhance performance. Implementing policies and practices that ensure fairness, providing training and development opportunities, and fostering a supportive work environment can lead to a productive and satisfied workforce, resulting in improved performance outcomes and better service delivery to the community. However, it is essential to consider other factors that may also influence employee performance but were not included in this study.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of Classroom Action Research and Innovation on Incentives, with Competence serving as the mediating variable. The variables investigated in the research are Classroom Action Research, Innovation, Competence, and Teacher Professionalism. The data collection method employed was a survey conducted through the distribution of questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using Smart PLS 3.2.8 software, specifically utilizing Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis. The research findings is a) Classroom Action Research has a positive and significant impact on teacher professionalism, b) Innovation has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism, c) Competence shows a positive and significant association with teacher professionalism, d) Classroom Action Research has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism through Competence, e) Innovation has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism through Competence. Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers at Mandailing Natal Regency Elementary School prioritize and enhance the influence of Classroom Action Research, Innovation, and Competence on Teacher Professionalism. This will contribute to the overall improvement of teacher professionalism in the school. By emphasizing the importance of Classroom Action Research and Innovation, teachers can enhance their professional development and contribute to the advancement of education quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the optimization of employee performance with a leadership and work motivation approach. The type of research used in this research is survey research. The objects in the research are leadership, work motivation, and employee performance. The research subjects were employees of CV. Contractor Trust. The population in this study were all employees of CV. The mainstay of contractors is 39 people. The technique used in this study is a census technique, so the sample is 39 employees. The type of data used is primary data obtained through questionnaires, and secondary data in the form of CV archives. Contractor Trust. The research period was carried out within the last 6 months of 2022. The data collection method used the questionnaire method, and the documentation method. Test the research instrument using the validity and reliability of the data. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple regression test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that 1) leadership has a significant effect on employee motivation; 2) leadership has a significant effect on employee performance; 3) work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance; and 4) leadership mediated by work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach, namely an approach that relies on research to the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first as the main material for building research foundations, building hypotheses, and proving hypotheses in this study. The data used in this study is quantitative data that researchers obtain directly or are also commonly referred to as primary data obtained from Zuri Group hotel employees spread throughout Indonesia as many as two hundred and fifty employees. The data obtained by the researcher were distributed through an online questionnaire containing ten questions with five choices including the choice of strongly agree, the choice of agree, the choice of so-so, the choice of disagree, and the choice of strongly disagree. The data obtained by the researcher were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that the Human Resource Information System variable can have a positive relationship direction and significant influence on Employee Performance and the Resonant Leadership Style variable can strengthen the influence of the Human Resource Information System variable on Employee Performance. The results of the second row of the third table above show that the Human Resource Information System variable can have a positive relationship direction and significant influence on Employee Performance can be accepted because the P-Values ​​are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.004. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the higher the Human Resource Information System, the higher the Employee Performance. In the next row, the Resonant Leadership Style variable can also moderate the influence of the Human Resource Information System variable on Employee Performance because the P-Values ​​are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000, more significant than direct testing of 0.004. Thus it can be concluded that the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted.
