Abstract

Absract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics at SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru by applying the model of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share (TPS). This research is a class action research by two cycles. Each cycle has four phases, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Subjects were class X4 students consist of 16 boys and 24 girls who have academic ability is heterogeneous. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is Syllabus, Lesson Plan, and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. The data analysis technique utilized qualitative and quantitative data analysis technique. Based on the result of the research showed that the learning process had performed well after has been made. An increase in the number of students who received grades of 20 and 30 as many as 27 students on first cycle and 32 students on second cycle. That is also an increase in the number of students who achieve at KKM end of UH each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve a score of KKM on the base. Starting from 27,5% increase to 35% and increased to 72,5%. The development of the results of this research indicate that the application of the Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve the learning process and improve learning results class X4 junior high school math class students Negeri 9 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2015/2016 at Basic Competencies (1) Menyelesaikan sistem persamaan  linear dan sistem persamaan campuran linear dan kuadrat dalam dua variabel, (2) Merancang model matematika dari masalah yang berkaitan dengan sistem persamaan linear, dan (3) Menyelesaikan model matematika dari masalah yang berkaitan dengan sistem persamaan linear dan penafsirannya.. Key Words: Mathematics Learning Result, Learning Process, Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Share, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

 Abstract : This classroom action research is aimed to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning  Model with Structural  Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Approach. The research subjects are 36 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VII.5 class of Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2016/2017. The research implemented in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, formative test was held. The data was collected by doing observation of teachers and students activities and formative test. The research shows learning process improvement after the implementation Cooperative Learning Model with Structural Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach.. Most of the students participated actively and responsible in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Furthermore, the number of students passing the KKM on base score, formative test I (first cycle), formative test II (second cycle) were respectively 36,1%, 50%, and 69,4%. The percentage of KKM achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increase. Finally, the research also shows that  cooperative learning  model with structural  Numbered Heads Together (NHT)  approach can improve mathematics learning process and learning outcomes of VII.5 class students of Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru. Key Words :   Math Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning  Model with Structural  Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Approach, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract : This research based on low mathematics learning achievement of student class VIIb SMPN 4 Peranap. Percentage of students reach KKM is 39,29%. The research was classroom action research. This research aims to improve learning process and student outcome by implementing cooperative lerning model structural approach of Think Pair Square (TPS). There are 28 students in the class, consisting 13 boys and 15 girls. The instrumen of data collection on this research are observation sheets for activities of teachers and students and math achievement tests. The observation sheets of teachers and students are analyzed qualitatively while the math achievement tests are analyze quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to treatment of the first cycle to the second cycle. The result of this research showed an increase in student from the based score with the persentage 39,29%, to 64,29% on the first test and 75% on the second test. From the result of this study concluded that cooperative learning model structural approach of Think Pair Square can improve the students learning achievement at class VIIb SMPN 4 Peranap in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.Key Word : Mathematics learning outcome, cooperative learning model structural approach of think pair square, class action research

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase student’s mathematical achievement through implementation of Discovery Learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIIIE Islamic Junior High School Madinatun Najah Rengat in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of this research consist of 30 students, there are 14 female students and 16 male students. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. Instrument data collectors used in this research are observation sheet and mathematical achievement test. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive narrative analysis of qualitative data and descriptive statistics analysis ofquantitative data. Based on analysis of the observation sheet, the application of Discovery Learning model can improve the learning process as indicated by the increase in the activity of teacher and student in each cycle. Data optained from mathematical achievement test result the percentage of students which ispass Minimum Mastery Crieria (MMC) increase from 36,7% to 53,3% at the first test and to 76,7% at the second test. This research concludes that the implementation of Discovery Learning model improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement at class VIIIE Islamic Junior High School Madinatun Najah Rengat in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.Key Words : Mathematics Learning Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims by the students’math achievement at class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru, there are 9 students’ achieving passing grade for attitude aspect and for aspects of knowledge and skills 7 students’ or 35% on the main discussion about lines and angels. So there are 11 students who don’t achieve passing grade for attitude aspect and 13 students for aspects of knowledge and skills, it means that there are some students who don’t achieve passing grade (KKM ) from school. This research is aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru in rectangular and triangle, through the implentation cooperative learning model of structural Think Pair Square. The subject are 20 students from class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru consist of 12 male and 8 famale students with the heterogenous level. The collecting of the data instruments are observation and math achivement test. The research finding is that there is students’ achievement that can be seen from the percentage of students’ achive passing grade (KKM) for attitude aspect with average is about 55%. The percentage of the score increase about 70% at the first daily test and the percentage of the score also increase about 85% at the second daily test. for aspects of knowledge with average is about 35%. The percentage of the score increase about 45% at the first daily test and the percentage of the score also increase about 70% at the second daily test. And for skills aspects with average is about 35%. The percentage of the score increase about 55% at the first daily test and the percentage of the score also increase about 85% at the second daily test Based on the previous result at can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning model of structural approach Think Pair Square to improve students’ math achievement at class VII.2 SMP Islam As-Shofa pekanbaru of rectangular and triangle on main topic of second semester 2014/2015.Key Word : Students’ math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model Structural Approach of Think Pair Square, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of research is to improve learning process and to increase student mathematics achievement with applying the learning model of Problem Based Learning. This research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is student of class VIIJ SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu in academic years 2018/2019. Subject which amounted to 32 students, consist of 16 boys and 16 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle have four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. The instruments of data collection and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets is analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students mathematic tests is analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive show an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students are very confidence and active in learning process, such as while they are finishing mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria of knowledge increase from basic score to first test and second test. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (28,13%) to the first test (59,37%) to the second test (71,89%). For the skills of the first test (65,62%) to the second test (87,50%). From these data it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning can increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIIJ SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject Aritmatika Soaial.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Problem Based Learning,Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying problem based learning. The research is classroom action research that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class XI MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2015/2016, there are 20 students in the class, consist of 9 boys and 11 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. The research instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instruments consisting of observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Data collection is done through observation and test of mathematics learning result. Based on the observation sheet of teacher and student activity showing the activity of teachers and students has been done well, seen some of the students began to participate actively and more responsible in learning process. Based on data analysis of mathematics learning outcomes, the percentage of students reaching KKM in knowledge competence increased from 35% in basic score to 55% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II. On attitude competence shows improvement, seen from percentage of student number reaching minimum completeness criteria at 35% at base score to 60% at cycle I and 90% in cycle II. The percentage of students reaching minimum completeness criteria in skill competence increased from 50% in base score to 80% in cycle I and 100% in cycle II. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of learning models based on problems can improve the learning process and improve student learning outcomes of grade XI MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in the even semester of the school year 2015/2016.Keywords: Mathematics learning outcome, Problem Based Learning, Class action research.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is motivated by the limited number of mathematics learning devices that can be used as references by teachers in developing learning devices independently in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curiculum. The purpose of this study is to produce a learning devices with a problem based learning model on the material of the size concentration and dissemination of data Class VIII. Learning instruments in this study are syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet. The develoment model used is model 4D by define, design, develop, disseminate. The research instrument used was an instrument of validity and practicality. The validity instrument is a validation sheet to assess the validity and learning tools. Practicality instruments in the form of question naire responses of students to the use of LKPD. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning tool is considered to be very valid with an average rating for the syllabus is 3.69, RPP is 3.62 and LKPD is 3.62. This LKPD has also fulfilled the practicality requirements with an score average student response questionnaire reaching 3.52 in large group trials.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Devices, Problem Based Learning, Researchand Development.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The Research by the application of 5E learning cycle model of learning has been conducted in order to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in basic competencies solve systems of linear equations of two variables and create mathematical models of the problems associated with the system of linear equations of two variables. The subject of the research is students of class VIII.c of SMPN 10 Tapung in the first semester academic years 2013/2014. This research is a form of action research conducted in two cycles on two basic competence ( KD ). Results of this study indicate that the learning cycle 7E model to increase the participation of learners in the classroom , resulting in improved achievement of students in the junior high school math class VIII.c SMPN 10 Tapung. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results show the activity of teachers and students have done well after doing the action. There was enchanment in the number of students who achieved KKM (minimum criteria of achievement) in formative test at the end of each cycle is compared to the number of students who achieve KKM on base score. Starting from 26,92% increased to 50% and increased to 69,23%. Based on these results, we can conclude that the application of the learning cycle 5E to improve learning process and improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students grade VIII.c SMP Negeri 10 Tapung in the first semester academic year 2013/2014.Keywords : learning cycle 5E model, learning achievement, Classroom action research*) Mahasiswa
