Abstract

The study aims to develop and validate open-ended mathematics questions, where measuring students' abilities at the field test stage is part of the final validation process to show that the instrument is functional. The development model with Tessmer's formative evaluation approach includes self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, and field tests. The participants included one lecturer, two mathematics teachers, and students from grade IX. Individual trials involved three students, small group trials 12 students, and field trials 40 students. The data obtained came from quantitative and qualitative data. The instruments used included observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Analysis for quantitative data was carried out using the SPSS application. The findings of the study indicate that (1) this study produces a mathematics question product with an open-ended approach of 5 descriptive questions. Content validity (90.33%), construct validity (94.25%), and language validity (92.25%). High validity is caused by the formulation of questions that explicitly ask students to provide various ways, which directly target indicators of fluency and flexibility in creative thinking. In addition, the validity of each question item in the small group, namely r count > r table (0.576), with a reliability value of 0.931. (2) Open-ended math questions that are valid and reliable, so that they are used to measure students' creative skills in problem solving. Based on the results of the field test (20% of students are very creative, 30% creative, 10% quite creative, 5% not creative, and 5% very not creative), this proves that the instrument developed is able to differentiate the level of student ability. This study concludes that the development of math questions with an open-ended approach is feasible to be applied to measure creative thinking skills in solving math problems related to the two-dimensional plane geometry topic.      Keywords: creative skills, feasibility of mathematical problems, open-ended approach, two-dimensional plane geometry topic.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a study that analyzes a person's emotions about a problem. The military barracks program proposed by the Governor of West Java has drawn pros and cons from the community, especially in application X. Some people consider this program to be the right solution to discipline and shape the character of students, others think that the program can take away children's freedom and rights and does not guarantee any change in character after the students leave the military barracks. Therefore, a sentiment analysis was conducted with the aim of understanding public sentiment and comparing the accuracy of the SVM and Naïve Bayes in predicting public sentiment towards the military barracks program. The method in this study begins with data crawling, data selection, labeling, data preprocessing (data cleaning, normalization, case folding, stopword removal, tokenizing, stem), TF-IDF, Word Cloud, classification with Naïve Bayes and SVM, ending with a Confusion Matrix. In contrast to SVM, which revealed that 1429 tweets had positive sentiment and 447 had negative sentiment, Naïve Bayes results indicated that 1309 tweets had positive sentiment and 567 had negative sentiment. The accuracy value of the Naïve Bayes was 91.24%, the precision was 99.73%, and the recall was 82.94%. In contrast, the SVM achieved 92.16%, the precision was 97.86%, and the recall was 86.40%. Based on these findings, it can be said that the SVM  is more accurate than Naïve Bayes and that the public generally has a favorable opinion of the military barracks program.

Abstract

The dynamics of development and integration of information technology in education require the application of innovative learning strategies, methods and models, one of which is the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. This model is effective in developing students' 21st century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. However, the facts in the field show that most teachers in SMK Malang Regency do not understand the concept or implementation of PjBL. This study aims to improve teachers' understanding and skills in implementing PjBL through training designed based on the ADDIE model, namely: (1) training needs analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. This training was attended by 14 SMK teachers in Malang Regency with teaching backgrounds in Animation, Visual Communication Design, Network Computer Engineering, and Broadcasting subjects with blended training methods (face-to-face and online) on 22 May 2024, 24 May 2024, 30 May 2024, and 6 June 2024. The evaluation results showed significant improvement in teachers' understanding and skills in designing PjBL-based learning tools, with a final average score of 87.8. The training made a positive contribution in supporting teachers to adapt and develop project-based learning in vocational schools, in line with the demands of international education quality standards implemented at SMKN 1 Singosari Malang. The output of this activity produced training materials in the form of powerpoint, video documentation and online mass media publications.

Abstract

Layanan airfreight merupakan salah satu unit usaha strategis PT. Combi Logistics Indonesia yang mengandalkan moda transportasi udara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan distribusi barang secara cepat, tepat, dan aman, baik di tingkat domestik maupun internasional. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, layanan ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti persaingan industri yang ketat, dinamika harga, regulasi penerbangan, serta perubahan ekonomi global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pelayanan yang diterapkan dalam layanan airfreight serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama periode pengiriman logistik customer pada bulan April 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menganalisis strategi PT Combi Logistics Indonesia Cabang Yogyakarta dalam melaksanakan prosedur administrasi dokumen dan proses layanan jasa airfreight. Analisis dilakukan terhadap prosedur administrasi dokumen, serta proses layanan jasa airfreight dimulai dari penerimaan barang kiriman, penerbitan dokumen hingga proses pemuatan ke atas pesawat. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi terhadap prosedur administrasi dokumen serta proses penanganan logistik di bandar udara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses pelayanan jasa airfreight di PT. Combi Logistics Indonesia Cabang Yogyakaarta dilaksanakan secara sistematis dan terstruktur dengan menjalankan prosedur operasional pelayanan ekspor melalui airfreight yang sesuai dengan prinsip manajemen strategi pelayanan jasa. Namun, pelaksanaannya masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam hubungan dengan pelanggan dan maskapai, seperti keterbatasan informasi real-time dan jadwal yang tidak konsisten, dinamika kebijakan maskapai serta perubahan regulasi pemerintah turut memperumit perencanaan dan kesiapan operasional.

Abstract

Thermoluminescence dosimeter (TLD) is widely used as a personal and medical dosimeter. Several TLD materials show the characteristics of mass energy absorption coefficient and energy response relative to ICRU (International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements) issue material as an equivalent material for human body soft tissue. This research aims to analyze the effect of Dy3+ dopant on the mass-energy absorption coefficient and relative energy response of Lithium Magnesium Borate (LMB) materials. The simulation was carried out using Monte Carlo N-Particle (MCNP) software. Calculations based on simulation and theoretical results will be compared statistically using paired t-tests. The study showed that adding a Dy3+ dopant to TLD material made of Lithium Magnesium Borate (LMB) only affected the mass-energy absorption coefficient and relative energy response for low radiation energy. Adding Dy3+ dopant increased the mass energy absorption coefficient and relative energy response in a reasonably small value. Based on these results, LMBDy3+ produces a better mass-energy absorption coefficient value for TLD materials. The results of the statistical tests show a significant difference in the mass energy absorption coefficient value. At the same time, there is no significant difference between the simulation results and theoretical calculations for the relative energy response.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the approach STEAM-Loose Parts of the ability of literasi numeracy in children aged 3-4 years in Pre School of SKB Sidoarjo. During the observation, several pre school of SKB Sidoarjo were found to have low numeracy skills among the children. The low numeracy skills in children aged 3-4 years are caused by the general nature of mathematics education, which is rarely linked to activities or daily life. However, numeracy skills can help children solve everyday life problems. This study uses the one group design pretest-postest method and uses non parametric data analysis techniques with the help of the wilcoxon match pairs test formula because the subjects only 6 childrens. The result of this research shows that getting the pre-test average is 43,3 and the post-test of 85,0 data shows that the STEAM-Loose Parts learning has a significant impact on the numeration capabilities of 3-4 years old in the pre school of SKB Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on concept understanding and there is an effect of the project-based learning model on the critical thinking ability of students in journalistic training activities. Quasi-experimental research design, with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest group design model, 70 research subjects divided into experimental and control groups. The results showed that both data were statistically normally distributed, the data were statistically homogeneous, and the results of the hypothesis testing of both data showed a significant effect. The conclusion informs that there is an effect of project-based learning model on concept understanding and there is an effect of project-based learning model on students' critical thinking ability in journalism training activities.

Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of the inductive learning model on the critical thinking ability of grade IX students in science subjects in junior high school. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method is used in this study. The research subjects consisted of students of class IX A as the experimental group and class IX B as the control group. The research instruments included questionnaires and tests to measure critical thinking skills before and after treatment. The results of data analysis showed that the inductive learning model had a positive and significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. In conclusion, the application of the inductive learning model can improve critical thinking skills in science learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan kelas III Sekolah Dasar Insan Mulya Driyorejo Kabupaten Gresik. Masalah dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana proses pengembangan mobile multimedia learning mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan materi kombinasi berjalan berlari dan meloncat untuk siswa kelas III di di Sekolah Dasar Insan Mulya Driyorejo Kabupaten Gresik. (2) Apakah media mobile multimedia learning mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan materi kombinasi berjalan berlari dan meloncat layak digunakan untuk siswa kelas III di Sekolah Dasar Insan Mulya Driyorejo. Penelitian dan Pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah-langkah model pengengembangan Lee & Owens, yang meliputi: (1) Assessment/analysis (penilaian/analisis), (2) Design (desain), (3) Development (Pengembangan Produk), (4) Implementation (implementasi), (5) Evluation (evaluasi). Sampel penelitian dan pengembangan ini terdiri dari dua ahli materi dan dua ahli media. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh hasil uji validitas dari ahli materi sebesar 93,1% dan hasil validitas ahli media dari segi edukatif sebesar 100%, dari segi kualitas teknis sebesar 95,31% dan uji validitas ahli media secara keseluruhan sebesar 96,25%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran sangat layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan asynchronous dan synchronous pada pendidikan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah comparative study. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa berjumlah 60 yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok pertama adalah mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan asynchronous learning dan kelompok kedua menggunakan synchronous learning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang tidak terlalu signifikan antara kedua kelompok tersebut. Berdasarkan perolehan rerata nilai mahasiswa pada kelompok Synchronous lebih tinggi sebesar (71,53) dan rereata nilai mahasiswa pada kelompok Asynchronous memperoleh sebesar (62,67). Dalam penerapan kedua model tersebut, Synchronous learning memberikan pembelajaran yang lebih baik untuk mahasiswa daripada pembelajaran menggunakan Asynchronous learning. Dalam penerapan pembelajaran synchronous mahasiswa lebih antusias karena pelaksanaan dilakukan secara realtime membuat mahasiswa dapat merespon dan menanggapi secara langsung dan tanpa terjadi miskomunikasi.
