The people of the Cireundeu-Cimahi traditional village are Sundanese indigenous people who have preserved traditions from generation to generation. Cireundeu is famous for its natural potential in the form of Sampeu which has not been fully exploited. The problem is, the government is trying to improve the skills of citizens. One of them is providing batik training by utilizing natural potential to become batik motifs. The goal is to improve skills so that economic conditions can also develop. The method used is the SL (Service Learning) method which involves students. Participants totaled 20 people. The results of this training participants can make batik motifs that were initiated from natural potential. The objects are dominated by shapes made of cassava leaves, which is interesting that almost all of his works are marked with his name written in Sundanese script. The visualized composition varies from asymmetrical and centered. The colors combined are also very interesting, such as a combination of color gradations from red to yellow, dark blue to light blue gradations

Pandu Church Sunday School is located at Jalan Pandu No.4, Pamoyanan, Cicendo District, Bandung. This school has creativity programs that aim to improve children's character in working together or having empathy in solving a problem that is being faced. To develop this character requires various efforts related to creativity. The problems faced by partners require strategies for solving them, one of which is assistance in making pictures using the collage technique on drawstring bags that students can use every day. The aim is to improve the skills that are expected to be able to develop their character in the future. The method used is a mentoring method involving students. Participants totaled 27 people. As a result, participants can draw with mixed media, the chosen theme is family and the environment such as flora and fauna. The visualized composition varies from asymmetrical and centered. The colors combined are very interesting, many children choose flannel in primary colors such as red, yellow, blue, orange

Perkembangan ekonomi dunia yang cukup pesat saat ini menjadikan latar belakang bagi pihak SMA Trinitas Bandung untuk mengenalkan lebih dini tentang ilmu investasi kepada para murid. SMA Trinitas Bandung bekerja sama dengan PT. Sinarmas Sekuritas dan Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk memberikan edukasi investasi dan ekonomi disesuaikan dengan porsi usia sekolah menengah supaya para siswa dapat mengenal dan siap mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang ilmu tersebut di jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya melalui pendirian galeri investasi edukasi. Dalam rangka mewujudkan hal tersebut, SMA Trinitas Bandung meminta pendampingan desain kepada program sarjana Desian Interior serta program sarjana Desain Komunikasi Visual, Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain, Universitas Kristen Maranatha sebagai penunjang estetika di galeri investasi edukasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui metode pendampingan melalui difusi ipteks berupa pembuatan desain logo serta plakat untuk galeri investasi edukasi di SMA Trinitas Bandung. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah hasil rekomendasi desain logo dan plakat yang didesain oleh tim pengabdi untuk dipergunakan pada Galeri Investasi Edukasi di SMA Trinitas Bandung.

An orphanage is a foster home for individuals who do not have parents and need a place to live and foster parents. The Arrahman Foundation, based in Magelang as a social institution, has carried out various social activities and managed orphanages in Central Java. Community service activities began with the hope of the Arrahman Foundation to increase the number of foster children at the Yogyakarta branch of the orphanage. The orphanage's interior planning needs to support this hope, which can accommodate more foster children by always considering functional and aesthetic aspects. Therefore, the interior redesign is carried out as a Community Service activity to renovate the existing orphanage space with a new one with a more attractive and accommodating design. This interior redesign activity also provides direction and advice regarding interior design to the foundation's management so that it can be applied to other room renovations. The executor of the service, which was carried out online, involved three lecturers from the Faculty of Arts and Design, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung, with whom two Interior Design Undergraduate Program students assisted. The community service activities result in a better understanding of interior design, especially for institutions, and insight into redesigning a building or room.

The extremely rare occurrence of conjoined twins in grasshoppers served as the inspiration for the POLYCHYPERA collection. Photographer Juan Camarillo from South America saw this two-headed grasshopper and utilized it as a photo subject for the image titled "Two Headed Grasshopper." By exhibiting one head's condition on the front-back and top-down sides of each outfit, the grasshopper's singularity serves as a source of inspiration for the design of costume apparel. The POLYCHYPERA costume collection is created with the contrast impact in mind. Finding a distinctive costume design development concept using an anthropomorphic approach is how the study challenge is stated. This study aims to develop a concept and product design for dramatic-styled costume garments. By experimentation and reading, the research method employs the project-based learning approach. The findings of this study are anticipated to serve as a guide for comparable fashion designs that can develop the innovative creativity of fashion industry players.

Indonesian regional snacks are highly valued for their cultural significance due to their distinctive taste, composition of ingredients, and processing techniques. Due to the globalization of free trade exchange and the ease with which information can be exchanged in the modern technology era, teens' interest in traditional snacks from different parts of Indonesia is currently waning. Especially on the island of Sulawesi, many traditional food vendors have forced to close their doors as a result of the Indonesian people's adaptation to the digital world over the past five years. With the purpose of educating and acquainting teenagers aged 12 to 18 with typical Sulawesi snacks, this mix-method study used a glass box method approach. The design visualization results use a simple chibi cartoon graphic style so that the content in the game may be readily conveyed and understood by the target market, while the data collecting and analysis results use literature studies and questionnaires. Thus, in an effort to maintain the cultural flavor of typical Indonesian snacks, this digital game can be utilized as an instructional tool regarding common Sulawesi snacks.

In modern times, more and more women's roles and emancipation have emerged in almost all fields. The role of these women is even seen in several cultures and beliefs in the world, one of which is the Miao New Year Festival in China. The participation of Miao tribal women in the annual festival became a source of inspiration for designing a ready-to-wear collection entitled MINZU. The MINZU collection packs a symbol of Miao belief in a modern form so that it can be accepted and used by urban residents in big cities. The MINZU collection features a jacket silhouette typical of China combined with traditional Miao clothing to display the overall impression of ethnicity. The modern impression is obtained by applying several material manipulations, namely embroidery and beads. The objectives of this design are to: 1) Create a ready-to-wear women's clothing collection with the inspiration of the Miao New Year festival, 2) Apply material manipulation techniques in the form of embroidery and beads typical of the Miao tribe to the urban women's clothing collection. The method used is the PBL (Project Based Learning) method, which is the learning method that uses real projects through information search and data synthesis, material exploration, feasibility assessment, and design interpretation to produce final results.

Pelestarian budaya Indonesia telah menjadi sesuatu yang susah untuk dipertahankan dalam era globalisisasi ini. Masyarakat Bali memegang teguh kepercayaan dan budaya mereka dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Tetapi mereka pun tidak terlepas dari pengaruh globalisasi, seperti bisa dilihat pada rendahnya ketertarikan generasi muda di Bali terhadap Tari Barong. Dengan banyaknya informasi yang masuk ke dalam Indonesia, maka banyak pula informasi yang tersebar dari Indonesia. Legenda Rangda yang diabaikan oleh generasi muda bisa-bisa sampai dikenali oleh orang-orang dari luar negeri dan bahkan diadaptasikan dalam sebuah game, seperti dalam seri Shin Megami Tensei. Dengan ketertarikan terhadap video game dan kubudayaan luar negeri, generasi muda di Bali kembali diperkenalkan oleh legenda Rangda yang telah di komodifikasikan. Dibanding dengan ketika melihat tari Barong, mayoritas generasi muda merasa lebih bangga ketika melihat kebudayaan Indonesia di representasikan pada media moderan, populer, atau dari luar negeri. Berdasarkan hal ini, komodifikasi menjadi sebuah metode pelestarian budaya yang cukup kuat dalam menarik perhatian generasi muda. Tetapi melalui proses komodifikasi, penggambaran tokoh Rangda terasa jauh berbeda dari yang ada di Bali sendiri. Tujuan pembuatan jurnal ini adalah untuk membandingkan penggambaran Rangda yang ada di desain Kazuma Kaneko dengan desain original dari Bali.
