Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan memproduksi teks anekdot di SMA Islam Ishlahul Ummah Lombok Utara dengan memperhatikan struktur teks anekdot, dan piranti kebahasaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berupa tes tertulis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Islam Ishlahul Ummah Kabupaten Lombok Utara tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 24 siswa, yang terdiri dari 12 orang laki-laki dan 12 orang perempuan kemampuan siswa kelas X dalam memproduksi teks anekdot di SMA Islam Ishlahul Ummah Lombok Utara dilihat dari aspek-aspek yang dinilai, bahwa siswa mampu memproduksi teks anekdot. diperolah hasil kemampuan memproduksi teks anekdot siswa berpariasi 12 orang mendapat nilai 100, 7 orang mendapat nilai 88,88 dan 5 orang mendapat nilai 77,77. Kesimpulannya bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas X dalam memproduksi teks anekdot di SMA Islam Ishlahul Ummah Lombok Utara yang berjumlah 24 orang dikategorikan sangat mampu sebagaimana yang diamanahkan oleh Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang fokus kepada bagaimanakah dinamika kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Amba karya Laksmi Pamuntjak dan Implementasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA berdasarkan kajian Psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dinamika kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Amba karya Laksmi Pamuntjak berdasarkan kajian Psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud dan menjelaskan implementasi tokoh Amba terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu novel Amba karya Laksmi Pamuntjak. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan metode baca dan catat. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud pada aspek dinamika kepribadian yang terdiri dari id ke ego, dan id ke superego. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur kepribadian tokoh utama Amba dipengaruhi oleh id ke ego dan id ke superego. Adapun mengenai Id ke Ego yang berhubungan dengan kenikmatan, penalaran, penyelesaian masalah, mengambil keputusan, menghindari ketidaknyamanan. Selanjutnya mengenai Id ke Superego yaitu berhubungan pula dengan pengendalian, hukuman, peringatan, pujian, dan menghindari ketidaknyamanan. Kemudian implementasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA dengan disertai silabus, RPP, KD dan bahan ajar lainnya. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan, masukan, dan media informasi bagi mahasiswa lainnya.

Abstract

This article outlines a view of the origins of language according to Hegel's dialectical perspective. This stems from the author's understanding of Hegel's concept which states that the substance of the mind originates from the spirit. This article explains that history originates from a spirit that introduces itself through thought and intuition. In this context, the activity of speaking has higher value than the written word; and listening activities have higher meaning than reading activities. Therefore, intelligence-linguistics crosses historical and cultural periods, developing from the free movement and power of the mind. Researchers use four stages of the historical method, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. This article uses Hegel's dialectical theory with a historical philosophy approach. This research aims to interpret Hegel's dialectical logic and philosophical ideas in understanding the emergence of language, as a linguistic interaction. The results of this research show that, by utilizing dialectical and intuitive logic, one can hear the intuitive phenomenon of the existence of language features such as utterances, words and abstract phonemes. On that basis, someone is able to explain and express verbal or linguistic expressions flexibly in a concrete discourse event. On this basis, someone is able to think epistemologically and linguistically.Artikel ini menguraikan pandangan tentang asal mula munculnya bahasa menurut perspektif dialektika Hegel. Hal ini bermula dari pemahaman penulis tentang konsep Hegel yang menyatakan bahwa substansi pikiran bersumber dari roh. Artikel ini menjelaskan bahwa sejarah bersumber dari roh yang mengenalkan dirinya melalui pikiran dan intuisi. Dalam konteks ini, aktivitas berbicara lebih tinggi nilainya daripada kata-kata yang tertulis; dan aktivitas mendengar lebih tinggi maknanya daripada aktivitas membaca. Oleh karena itu, inteligensi-linguistik melintasi periode sejarah dan budaya, yang berkembang dari gerakan dan kekuatan pikiran yang bebas. Peneliti menggunakan empat tahapan metode sejarah (historical method), yaitu heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginterpretasikan logika dialektis Hegel dan ide-ide filosofisnya dalam memahami munculnya bahasa, sebagai suatu interaksi linguistik. Artikel ini menggunakan teori dialektika Hegel dengan pendekatan filsafat sejarah. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa, dengan memanfaatkan logika dialektis dan intuitif, seseorang dapat mendengarkan fenomena intuitif keberadaan fitur-fitur bahasa seperti ucapan, kata, dan fonem abstrak. Atas dasar itu, seseorang mampu menjelaskan dan mengekspresikan ungkapan verbal atau kebahasan secara fleksibel dalam suatu peristiwa wacana yang konkret. Atas dasar itu pula seseorang mampu berpikir secara epistemologis dan linguistik.

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas metafor yang yang ada di dalam novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wjik karya Hamka. Makalah ini ditulis berdasarkan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori semiotika. Ditemukan bahwa ada sejumlah metafor yang dipakai oleh penulisnya. Jenis-jenis metafor tersebut cukup beragam yaitu: metafora antromorfik, metafor kehewanan, metafor abstrak ke konkrit, dan metafor sinestesia. Hal ini menjadikan karya ini “indah” secara penyajian kebahasaannya, di samping indah atau estetis secara isi cerita. Dengan demikian, keberadaan metafor yang muncul dalam karya novel tersebut menjadikan karya fiksi ini semangat memperkuat bahwa karya novel ini ddapat dikategorikan sebagai karya utama (masterpiece)

Abstract

This article presents discourse texts in Sufism culture, especially about the meaning of dhikr and the spiritual values inherent in Sufi discourse texts. For this reason, researchers are trying to explore the concept of dhikr of the Tarekat Sheikh through a discourse study approach. This is because every living and healthy dhikr has its own special features which lie in its special message in the bias of revelation through culture and life. Researchers try to offer the concept of Sufi dhikr of Sheikh Ahmad Tet, considering that the tradition of dhikr is a reflection of Islamic culture. The aim of this research is to explore the meaning of the word dhikr through expressions in the manuscript of the book 'Secrets of Bainal Haq', as a form of discourse text that supports social-spiritual relationships.To understand this, researchers used Foucault's theory of discourse study, with analytical descriptive methods. The steps that researchers took were data collection, data processing, and interpretation of research data, which results in understanding the words and meaning of Sufi discourse texts. Therefore, the results of this research reveal that Sufi dhikr has similarities in social-spiritual values, a balance between the dimensions of faith and shari’ah, the dimensions of knowledge and worship, the dimensions of culture and morals, and the dimensions of language and culture which is the representation of religious culture traditional practices.

Abstract

This article aims to interpret two aspects of the Kitab Sawi: its grammatical structure and psychological meaning, uncovering both linguistic and psychological dimensions within this Sufi literary text. The subject of this study is the Sufi manuscript Kitab Sawi. To achieve this goal, the article adopts Schleiermacher's hermeneutic theory with a descriptive-analytical approach. The research follows four stages: data collection, data processing, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The study reveals that the Kitab Sawi manuscript focuses on two main aspects: grammatical structure and psychological meaning. Key insights from the Kitab Sawi, which serves as the primary source for this article, include the following: a) Source of Ethical-Religious Literary Knowledge: The Kitab Sawi manuscript contains strong elements of Sufi literature, aimed at conveying moral and ethical values rooted in religious teachings. b) The Importance of Cultural Heritage: Kitab Sawi is not only valuable as a literary work but also as a representation of past intellectual and spiritual wealth. This manuscript plays a vital role in preserving and communicating cultural and spiritual teachings across generations. c) Psychological and Structural Significance: The analysis demonstrates that Kitab Sawi features a profound and intricate grammatical structure, characteristic of Sufi thought, which frequently employs symbolic and metaphorical language. This structure adds a psychological depth, allowing readers to undergo spiritual transformation through contemplation and engagement with the text. In conclusion, this article offers valuable contributions to the understanding of Sufi literature and Sasak cultural heritage.

Abstract

This research addresses the issue of cultural value transmission in the practice of Sufism through a linguistic approach to language and religious learning in the ancient manuscript Bainal Haq. The primary objective of this research is to identify the linguistic mechanisms involved in conveying Sufi teachings and preserving local Islamic and cultural values. This research employs a qualitative approach with text analysis, which involves several stages: (1) data collection from the ancient manuscript Bainal Haq, (2) determining the focus of analysis, which includes syntactic aspects (sentence structure and relationships between words) and semantic aspects (word meanings and their relation to Sufi teachings and culture), (3) data analysis, (4) interpretation of data based on Hans-Georg Gadamer’s hermeneutic theory, and (5) discussion related to relevant literature. The findings reveal that the language structure in the manuscript reflects spiritual depth and serves as an effective medium for transmitting cultural and religious values. In conclusion, the ancient manuscript Bainal Haq plays a significant role in the inheritance of local Islamic spirituality, particularly in the practice of Sufism within the Sasak local tradition.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) from the aspects of planning, execution, and evaluation in Indonesian language learning based on local wisdom, as applied at SMP Negeri 1 Bayan. A qualitative approach was used in this research. Data collection techniques involved direct observation, analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the planning stage has been executed very well, meeting the criteria outlined in six indicators on the observation instrument for planning. The planning activities carried out by teachers include the preparation of teaching modules, Learning Outcomes (Capaian Pembelajaran or CP), formulation of Learning Objectives (Tujuan Pembelajaran or TP), development of the Learning Objectives Flow (Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran or ATP), and design of instructional steps, learning media, and assessment tools for student learning. At the implementation stage, the curriculum was also executed very well, meeting the criteria outlined in twenty-nine indicators in the observation instrument for implementation. In this regard, the form of curriculum implementation in Indonesian language learning involved the teacher delivering instruction based on the prepared Indonesian language module, specifically a letter-text module designed in the planning phase. At the evaluation stage, the curriculum implementation was carried out very effectively, meeting the criteria in the observation instrument for evaluation, which includes diagnostic evaluation, formative assessment, and summative assessment.

Abstract

Toponymy or the study of historical traces and cultural meanings of Wilamaci Village and Tolotangga Village in Monta District, Bima Regency. One of the fundamental elements in the construction of a special identity and culture of a society. More than just a geographical label on a map, each toponym contains a collective narrative, traces of civilization, and a reflection of the worldview of the community that named it, and functions as a linguistic artifact that not only marks a physical location, but also stores a wealth of historical information passed down from generation to generation. The objectives of this study are: 1) to analyze the linguistic origins and lexical meanings of the names of Wilamaci Village and Tolotangga Village; 2) to reveal historical traces, including important events, influential figures, or migration dynamics reflected in their names; and 3) to analyze the cultural meanings contained therein, including community values, belief systems, and local folklore. This study uses an ethnolinguistic approach with a qualitative descriptive method through long-distance interviews and document studies. The research results show that both toponyms are rooted in local terms describing past natural conditions and social activities. Furthermore, the names Wilamaci and Tolotangga represent traces of early migration groups and cultural symbols still maintained by the Bima people today. These findings enrich the study of toponymy and anthropolinguistics and contribute to the preservation of regional cultural identity.

Abstract

Literary works not only function as aesthetic expressions, but also as a reflection of culture and social value-forming media, including representing women. Jatiswara's novel was chosen as the object of study, because it displays the symbolism of women that is full of meaning and firmly rooted in the context of Sasak culture. The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of women's metaphors and uncover the representation of Sasak women's feminism in the text of the novel. The research uses a qualitative method with the conceptual metaphor approach of Lakoff and Johnson and the concept of true women and new women feminism. The results of the study show that the metaphor of women in this novel is classified into three main categories of women's metaphors, namely structural, ontological, and orientational. The representation of Sasak women's feminism shows ambivalence, namely women present as noble true women and moral guardians, as well as new women who are critical, independent, and progressive. This research contributes to the development of the study of conceptual metaphors and local feminism in Indonesian literature.
