Abstract

This study aims to find out what factors hinder students from having difficulty with beginning reading and solutions to overcome the problems of students with initial reading difficulties in grade 1B of SD Negeri Sampangan 02. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Collecting data in this study is by observation method using guiding indicators to determine the difficulty of beginning reading, interviews, and documentation. The instrument used was a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire regarding initial reading difficulties. After the researcher received the data, the data was analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model. The results of this study show 1. the causative factors of early reading difficulties are lazy learning, lack of interest and motivation to learn, power, students get bored easily, lack of parental guidance and attention to education. 2. The solution for beginning reading difficulties is that the teacher provides additional hours for students learning to read beginning, paying special attention to students who have difficulty reading beginning, parental concern for their child's education, the teacher must be creative when guiding students learning to read beginning.

Abstract

Mathematical communication ability is an ability that must be possessed by students in mathematics because mathematics is a communication tool that is closely related to everyday life. This study aims to analyze the mathematical communication skills of students, especially the material for multiplication and division arithmetic operations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis show that students at have a moderate level of mathematical communication, this is in accordance with the 6 subjects who get the same category. The level of mathematical communication that is classified as moderate has communication that almost fulfills most of the indicators of mathematical communication, most of them write down the answers, it's just that the answers are incomplete, the answers from the 6 subjects do not write conclusions at all, besides that students are not careful and thorough in work on the problem so that it affects the results of the value obtained.

Abstract

In a learning activity, it is necessary to have an initial assessment as a measuring tool in describing the initial conditions of students. The reality in the field is that teachers have not made STEM-based initial instruments to determine students' initial conditions, so it is necessary to develop initial instruments so that teachers can find out students' initial conditions so that the material provided is in accordance with students' needs. The purpose of this study was to develop initial instruments to determine the readiness of students in the learning activities of phase A students in science learning material on STEM-based causal patterns. The research method used is the R&D research method consisting of: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The results of the study can be concluded that the STEM-based STEM-based primary science instrument for phase A students is 0.73-0.84 (moderate to high) for the Aiken index.

Abstract

The STEM approach to learning can be applied in teaching modules, which will later be implemented in learning in elementary schools. STEM involves natural science, engineering, technology, and mathematics as a basic reference in the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) which requires students to innovate which demands a process of creativity from students. The purpose of the study is to produce STEM-based science teaching modules for grade IV students at SDN Kalisidi 03 Semarang Regency that are valid, practical, and effective in realizing student creativity. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) development research using ADDIE model development. This research place was carried out at Kalisidi State Elementary School 03 Semarang Regency in grade IV. Validation of teaching modules after being processed using the Aiken index gets a score of 0.96%, namely with a high category, effective teaching modules get a score of learning one before 72% and learning two by 91% by being declared effective and practical 97% of teaching modules get scores with very practical categories. So researchers hope that the teaching module developed can be used well for educators in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe and determine the moral values in the film "Finding Nemo", (2) to explain the relevance of the moral values contained in the film "Finding Nemo" to character education for elementary level students. in the film "Finding Nemo". And also, its relevance to character education. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses content analysis. Based on data analysis, it was found that (1). The moral values contained in the film "Finding Nemo" include: a) parents' love for their children, b) obedience to parents, c) trying hard, d) parents must give freedom to their children, e) help between each other, f) trust each other between friends and family, g) never be embarrassed to apologize, h) be ready to let your child go on an adventure, i) learn to work together. (2). The relevance of the moral values contained in the film "Finding Nemo" to character education for elementary level students is found in the character values of hard work, creativity, independence, curiosity, friendship/communicativeness, love of peace, social care and responsibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah pelaksanakan pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan  oleh  guru kepada peserta didik yang kurang paham akan Teknologi yang ada sehingga guru memanfaatkan WEB Portal Rumah Belajar sebagai alternatif pembelajara.Permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana proses belajar mengajar pembelajaran daring kelas IV semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 meliputi 5 SDN yang ada di kecamatan Kesesi  Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses belajar mengajar pembelajaran daring menggunakan WEB Portal Rumah Belajar dan untuk mengetahui dampak pembelajaran daring menggunakan WEB Portal Rumah Belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring kelas IV semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 di beberapa sekolah dasar meliputi 5 SDN yang ada di kecamatan Kesesi terlaksana dengan baik, dengan sekolahan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan blended learning, sebagai alternatif bagi peserta didik yang tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran daring menggunakan WEB Portal Rumah Belajar menggunakan media elektronik. Sehingga peserta didik kelas IV seluruh nya mendapatkan materi dengan sama dan tidak ada yang tertinggal karena tidak memiliki media elektronik.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 ini mengubah pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Duren yang biasanya menggunakan pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran yang memadukan antara pembelajaran luring dan pembelajaran daring (blended learning). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran blended learning dikelas IV SD Negeri 1 Duren dan untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran blended learning. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di di SD Negeri 1 Duren dengan subjek penelitian ini meliputi siswa kelas IV dan guru kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pembelajaran daring dilakukan bersamaan dengan pembelajaran luring. Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam model belajar daring adalah WhatsApp, sedangkan pembelajaran luring dilakukan di sekolah dengan melihat materi yang dikirim melalui Grub WhatsApp. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran blended learning memiliki banyak kekurangan seperti siswa kurang paham pada materi yang disampaikan oleh guru dan manajemen waktu yang kurang baik. Namun pembelajaran blended juga memiliki kelebihan yaitu kemudahan bagi guru untuk menyampaikan materi ke seluruh siswa.Kata kunci: pembelajaran pada masa pandemi, blended learning, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah Membaca permulaan (Depdikbud, 1991) termasuk jenis-jenis pengajaran membaca dan menulis. Sedangkan menurut (Tarigan,1979) membaca permulaan adalah mengasosiasikan lambang tulisan sebagai proses mencocokkan huruf atau melafalkan yang ditempuh sebagai langkah yang pertama. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Semarang? Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kesulitan membaca pemula pada siswa kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Semarang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Guru Kelas I, dan Siswa Kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data ini dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah siswa yang belum lancar membaca harus selalu berusaha untuk bisa serta lebih rajin dan semangat untuk membiasakan membaca, perhatian serta dorongan dari orang tua juga merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam suatu pembelajaran membaca, oleh karena itu siswa kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Genuk Semarang dapat membaca dengan baik dan lancar.

Abstract

Anarchist behavior, strife and brawls, vigilantism, an increasingly free transformation of global ethics, drug abuse if examined carefully, all begin ina crisis of morality. This is a problem in the life of society, nation, and state so that through character education programs applied in the scope of education can be a solution or solution. One of the efforts to instill character values in elementary school children can be done through children's songs. This study aims to determine and analyze the character values contained in the lyrics of children's songs by Abdulloh Totong Mahmud in the book of grade II elementary / mi students curriculum 2013. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature research methods. The research subjects studied were thirteen children's songs by A.T Mahmud in the 2013 Curriculum Grade II student book. Based on the results of this study (1) religious values are found in happy songs of gathering, throwing garbage, rainbows, fireflies, cypresses, uncle come, scenery, thank God and the moon (2) nationalist values are found in father's bell songs (3) independent values are found in happy songs of gathering, rowing, my chicken, lizards (4) mutual aid values are contained in happy songs gathering (5) The value of integrity is contained in the song of throwing garbage.

Abstract

The aim of this study is the result of growing interest in learning participants in math subjects and in growing interest in learning participants using the based learning problem model (PBL). This type of research is a class action study that adaptes the Kurt lewin model (planning, acting, observing, and reflecting) that Kurt lewin popularized. Kela's actions research subject is 22 student. Data is obtained through observation, angket, and documentation. Research indicates that the model for learning problems based learning can increase interest in learning mathematics participants. The increased interest in learning participants from earlier conditions, cycles I, and cycles ii has achieved or surpassed the researchers' target of success. At the beginning the average interest in learning participants was 69 in the category of considerable interest with the percentage of learners getting 72%. The participants' learning interest is on the I cycle with an average of 83 in the category of interest with the student presentation getting 95%. Whereas the results of studying cycle ii with an average of 90 in the category are very interested in the percentage of learners who are sufficiently interested above get 100%
