Abstract

Obesitas merupakan salah satu masalah dari Triple Burden Malnutrition yang dihadapi oleh oleh Indonesia. Salah satu upaya untuk pencegahan obesitas adalah melalui penerapan pedoman gizi seimbang dengan banyak mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah sumber serat.Smoothies merupakan salah satu cara untuk menikmati sayur dan buah sehingga masyarakat mampu memenuhi kebutuhan seratnya. Terdapat salah satu bahan pangan yang akhir-akhir ini banyak menjadi perhatian untuk penelitian yaitu chia seeds. Chia seeds tinggi akan serat per 100 gram nya, mengandung mineral, vitamin dan sumber asam lemak tidak jenuh yang baik untuk tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk berupa smoothies dengan penambahan chia seeds untuk dievaluasis secara sensoris dengan melihat perbedaan tingkat kesukaan rasa, aroma, warna dan kekentalan pada formulasi smoothies dengan penambahan chia seeds 0; 2,5; 5; dan 7,5 gram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan. Uji organoleptik dilakukan pada 35 panelis untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan pada rasa, aroma, warna dan kekentalan produk smoothies. Uji statistis anova dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kesukaan panelis pada empat formulasi smoothies. Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada parameter rasa dan kekentalan  (p lebih dari 0,05) dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada parameter aroma dan warna (p kurang dari 0,05).  Penambahan chia seeds dapat memberikan pengaruh pada tingkat kesukaan terhadap parameter warna dan aroma smoothies. Panelis lebih menyukai rasa, aroma dan warna pada formula 1 (tanpa penambahan chia seeds) dan kekentalan pada formula 3 (penambahan chia seeds 5 gram).

Abstract

Chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is still a nutritional problem in Indonesia. CED in pregnant women is caused by low energy and protein intake in pregnant women. The low energy and protein intake in pregnant women can cause disturbances in pregnancy and the baby in the womb. This research objective is to provide an overview of the level of energy and protein adequacy of pregnant women in the city of Malang. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was 64 pregnant women. The variables of energy adequacy and protein adequacy were obtained through online interviews. The instrument in this study used a Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire. Data analysis is descriptive. The results showed that the energy adequacy level was categorized as very less (54.7 percent), less (28.1 percent), normal (10.9 percent), and more (6.3 percent). The level of protein adequacy is categorized as very less (45.3 percent), less (23.4 percent), normal (7.8 percent), and more (23.4 percent). The level of energy and protein adequacy in pregnant women is at most included in the minimal category or very less compared to needs. Efforts to accelerate the fulfillment of energy and protein in pregnant women. Kekurangan energi kronis (KEK) pada ibu hamil masih menjadi masalah gizi di Indonesia. KEK pada ibu hamil disebabkan oleh rendahnya asupan energi dan protein pada ibu hamil. Rendahnya asupan energi dan protein pada ibu hamil dapat menyebabkan gangguan dalam kehamilan dan bayi dalam kandungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tingkat kecukupan energi dan protein pada ibu hamil di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 64 ibu hamil. Variabel kecukupan energi dan kecukupan protein didapatkan melalui wawancara yang dilakukan secara online. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire. Analisis data bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kecukupan energi termasuk kategori minimal atau sangat kurang (54,7 persen), kurang (28,1 persen), normal (10,9 persen), dan lebih (6,3 persen). Tingkat kecukupan protein yang termasuk kategori minimal atau sangat kurang (45,3 persen), kurang (23,4 persen), normal (7,8 persen), dan lebih (23,4 persen). Tingkat kecukupan energi dan kecukupan protein pada ibu hamil paling banyak termasuk dalam kategori minimal atau sangat kurang dibandingkan dengan kebutuhan. Upaya percepatan pemenuhan energi dan protein pada ibu hamil sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

High quality anthropometric measurements are important for nutritional assessment in children. In Indonesia, anthropometric measurement of children performed by caders in child center called posyandu as a child growth monitoring. However error measurements are found, especially on length or height measurement of children affecting presision and accuracy of data. This will lead to misinterpretation of child nutrition status. Education and training for cadres using media are important to improve their knowledge and skill related to anthropometric measurements. This study aimed to assess the effect of anthropometry measurement training using videos on Cadre’s knowledge. This study used one group pre-post test design with twenty cadres from Jekek and Mabung Village, Nganjuk City were recruited to this study. Intervention given to cadres was training using video anthropometry measurement. Knowledge score are measured before and after intervention. Statistical test was performed using paired t-test. The result of the study showed that there were significant different (p less than 0.05) of cadres’s knowledge score before (74.25 more or less than 7.48) and after training (78.75 more or less than 7.75). Anthropometric measurement training using video has effective in improving cadres knowledge of anthropometric measurement. Further study also needs to investigate skill improvement of anthropometric measurement for cadres.

Abstract

One of the nutritional problems of adolescent female in Southeast Asia is iron deficiency anemia, with an estimated 25-40 percent of adolescent female experiencing mild to severe anemia. The impact of this on teenagers is a decline in academic abilities at school due to a lack of enthusiasm for learning and concentration on learning. This research aims to determine the effect of e-booklet anemia prevention media on young women at SMAN 1 Turen. This research uses an experimental method, namely a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The subjects of this research were 50 female students. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of e-booklet anemia prevention media on the level of knowledge (p value is 0.000 less than 0.05) and attitudes (p value is 0.032 less than 0.05) of young women at SMAN 1 Turen. There was a significant influence on knowledge and attitudes before and after being given treatment in the form of education using e-booklet media
