Abstract

In design, control, and safety—especially in PWR reactors—the Reactivity Coefficient parameter is crucial. The validation of every new library for an accurate parameter prediction is then crucial. The purpose of this work is to determine the value of the reactivity coefficient at BOC and EOC using the WIMDS code based on ENDF/B-VIII.0 nuclear data files. The PWR-1175 MWe experiment critical reactors, which use Th-UO2 (thorium) fuel pellets, are a set of light water-moderated lattice experiments that are used for this purpose. The study is applied to the new cross-section libraries for WIMSD-5B and WIMSD-5B with ENDF/B-VIII.0 lattice code. The results showed that the fuel temperature reactivity coefficients for the PWR reactor at BOC and EOC using new libraries are – 4.07 pcm/K and – 2.72 pcm/K, respectively. Moderator Temperature Reactivity Coefficient at BOC and EOC are -1.8E-03 pcm/K and 3.73 pcm/K, respectively. Compared to the experimental data of the reactor core, the difference is in the range of 5.0 %. It can be concluded that for the PWR using thorium fuel as a model, all reactivity coefficients are negative and it is a good design for the safety of operation.

Abstract

Purpose. This research aims to determine knowledge management using the SECI Model in the UIN Walisongo Library and determine the obstacles in implementing knowledge management in the UIN Walisongo Semarang Library.Methodology. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through interviews, field observations, and documentation from the library. Researchers conducted interviews with the head of the library, librarians and several students. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis techniques used are: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.Results and discussion. The results and discussion of this research show that, 1) Management knowledge at the UIN Walisongo Semarang Library using SECI model analysis including the socialization stage carried out in internal & external libraries, externalization stage includes writing and library service innovation, combination stage includes organizing catalogs, repositories, and documents, stages Internalization includes workshop activities, benchmarking, and seminar. 2) Barriers to implementing knowledge management in There are two factors in the UIN Walisongo library, namely factors internal and external libraries.Conclusions. UIN Walisongo Semarang Library uses the SECI model in managing knowledge (socialization, externalization, combination, internalization) but faces challenges such as diverse individual abilities, lack of librarians and no regeneration, as well as low awareness of student knowledge documentation and information literacy. The recommendations include encouraging knowledge exchange between staff, developing social media innovations to facilitate access, and contributing to library and information science studies to increase digital era literacy and maximize library services.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pemerintah memudahkan perijinan dalam mendirikan sebuah lembaga pendidikan baru menjadikan persaingan antara lembaga pendidikan semakin ketat. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Semua data dianalisis melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi data.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan strategi pemasaran produk pendidikan di MTs Al Islam Rowosari diawali dengan rapat bersama untuk membentuk panitia PPDB, kemudian menyusun perencanaan pemasaran pendidikan yang meliputi, penetapan tujuan, identifikasi pemasaran, produk yang ditawarkan, metode pemasaran dan anggaran pemasaran. 2) Pelaksanaan strategi pemasaran produk pendidikan di MTs Al Islam Rowosari dilakukan dengan memberikan produk pendidikan yang terbaik, melakukan pelaksanaan pemasaran, strategi khusus dan penanggung jawab 3) Evaluasi strategi pemasaran produk pendidikan di MTs Al Islam Rowosari dilakukan setiap akhir tahun pelajaran. Hasil pemasaran produk pendidikan menyatakan bahwa MTs Al Islam Rowosari terdapat peningkatan peserta didik pada tahun ini mereka mengetahui informasi tersebut melalui tokoh masyarakat. Upaya strategi pemasaran untuk ke depannya yaitu akan terus meningkatkan kepercayaannya yang tidak hanya pemasaran melalui digital dan konvensional, akan tetapi bisa menggunakan media yang lebih bagus efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of evaluating the context, input, process, output of the project program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at Nasima Middle School, Semarang. Nasima Junior High School in the implementation of P5 (Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project) is not escorted even though the driving school should be escorted by the government. The escort is not sustainable, and only given material. Furthermore, everything related to implementation is determined by the school. Because Basically, the independent curriculum is very depends on the characteristics of the education unit according to different characters. Well, the curriculum at that time accommodates that character. Including in determining the project of strengthening the student profile of Pancasila. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative. Using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The data obtained was analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the research show that: 1) The results of the evaluation of the program context for the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students have been running, it can be seen from how three projects were prepared for one year, 2) The results of the evaluation of the program input for the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students have been running, it can be seen from the competence of the educators , 3) The results of the process evaluation regarding obstacles in the implementation of the project program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students are already underway, which can be seen from the implementation of three projects, 4) The results of the product evaluation regarding the continuation of the project program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students are already underway with a graphic increase in the results of student achievement. It is recommended that the program be continued with some improvements in terms of budget, activity management, and long-term oriented products. And for the government, the driving schools should also be escorted in the implementation of P5.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high unemployment rate of vocational high school graduates which is one of the main problems in the world of vocational education in Indonesia. This is inseparable from the incompatibility of graduate competencies with industry needs. In addition, cooperation with industry that is not optimal and the inequality in the number of cooperation between departments also worsens the situation. In this condition, competition between vocational schools has become increasingly difficult to force each school to continue to improve the quality of its education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. After that, the data is analyzed by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results of the first planning research set the goals of the cooperation to be carried out. Second, update information, make an MoU, and make a timeline for coordination meetings and report results. The implementation of public relations in building the first cooperation of public relations carries out cooperation with industry in an effort to improve teacher competence through training and student competence through street vendors and training. Second, public relations in updating information through offline and online. The three public relations agencies have implemented many MoUs, there are 18 MoUs carried out by public relations. Fourth, in the implementation of coordination meetings with school structures, they are carried out every Monday, while internal public relations meetings are held once a month. The first evaluation is to re-check that the cooperation carried out is in accordance with the vision and mission, the second in evaluating the update of public relations information involves departments to participate in evaluating. Third, the evaluation of the MoU is carried out when the cooperation period has expired, which is every two years. The four evaluation techniques used by public relations are two, namely oral techniques and written techniques. The impact of the collaboration with external parties is an increase in teacher competence through the internship program. Students benefit from Field Work Practice (PKL) programs that are relevant to industry needs. Further research could focus on the direct evaluation of the impact of cooperation with industry on job skills and the level of graduate absorption in the job market.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pembekalan kepada mahasiswa mengenai cara menulis proposal dan laporan penelitian skripsi, dan pemilihan topik-topik penelitian dibidang manajemen. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi, Institut Bakti Nusantara, Lampung. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan edukasi yaitu narasumber memberikan pengetahuan penelitian terutama cara menulis proposal, laporan skripsi, serta cara membuat kutipan secara efektif, juga mengenai bagaimana cara menentukan topik-topik penelitian dibidang manajemen. Peserta kegiatan ini antusias mengikuti acara dari awal sampai akhir, juga aktif bertanya dan berdiskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mahasiswa memahami cara memilih dan menentukan topik-topik penelitian dalam bidang manajemen, antara lain manajemen pemasaran, keuangan dan Manajemen Sumberdaya Manusia. Selain itu mahasiswa dapat memahami bagaimana menulis proposal maupun laporan penelitian skripsi secara efektif serta cara membuat kutipan yang benar. Acara ini sangat penting diadakan sebagai bekal mahasiswa sebelum praktik membuat proposal dan laporan penelitian skripsi secara nyata sebagai syarat kelulusan studi. Oleh karena itu acara seperti ini harus diadakan lagi dimasa yang akan datang dan ditingkatkan menjadi pelatihan dan pendampingan.

Abstract

Evaluasi tata kelola TIK menjadi bagian penting dalam penerapan TIK dalam sebuah perguruan tinggi. Tata kelola teknologi informasi yang baik akan membantu mempercepat terwujudnya visi dan misi sebuah perguruan tinggi. Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Pangkalan Data (PTIPD) UIN Walisongo merupakan unit teknis yang  mempunyai tugas mengelola dan mengembangkan sistem informasi di lingkungan Institusi. Mengingat pentingnya PTIPD maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi tingkat kematangan teknologi informasi dengan menggunakan metode TeSCA. Analisis dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, penelaah dokumen dan konfirmasi untuk mendukung analisis terhadap PTIPD. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan TIK UIN Walisongo pada tingkat Level Madya dengan scores total 55.43.

Abstract

Although e-learning has been widely implemented in higher education institutions, the level of acceptance and actual usage among students still varies considerably. This study aims to examine the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on students' intention to use and actual usage behavior of e-learning in Islamic public universities. A quantitative research approach was employed. The population consisted of 240 students majoring in Islamic Education Management, with 150 participants selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using outer model, inner model, and model fit tests with the assistance of PLS-SEM version 3. The findings indicate that perceived usefulness significantly influences the intention to use, perceived ease of use significantly affects the intention to use, and intention to use significantly influences actual usage behavior. Among all the tested hypotheses, intention to use had the strongest influence on usage behavior, while perceived usefulness had the weakest influence on intention to use. This study differs from previous research in its focus and the model applied to assess information system implementation. Furthermore, the types of information systems analyzed—ranging from e-learning to software or digital payment systems—also vary across studies. This research investigates the acceptance of e-learning based on four main variables: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, intention to use, and usage behavior, modified from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study reveals how users' perceptions affect the adoption of e-learning, providing insights for the development of more effective and user-friendly systems.

Abstract

Teacher is one of the determining factors for the success of an education. In this case, teacher is assigned to educate the life of the nation. Many factors affect teacher performance. In this study, researchers focused on aspects of training, motivation, and organizational culture because they are relevant to the problems that exist at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of training on teacher performance at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang, 2) the effect of motivation on teacher performance at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang, 3) the effect of organizational culture on teacher performance at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang. This research used quantitative research method by involving a population of 32 teachers. The questionnaire was prepared using a Likert scale of 1-5. The method of analysis in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) – Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are training did not have a significant effect on teacher performance at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang because the tStatistic value was 0.420 <1.96 and P values 0.675 > 0.05, while motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang with tStatistic value 2.209 > 1.96 and P Values 0.029 < 0.05, and organizational culture has a significant effect on teacher performance at SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang with tStatistic value 3.008 > 1.96 and the value of P Values 0.003 < 0.05. The suggestions that can be given are the school leaders should conduct training of teacher performance, increase and maintain intrinsic and extrinsic motivation so that teacher performance is improved, maintain and improve organizational culture and service to customers, and minimize individualism and seniority among teachers so as not to affect their performance.
