Abstract

This study explores the complex relationship between work-life imbalance, employee motivation, and well-being. It aims to identify key causes, assess the multidimensional impacts on employees, and propose actionable strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of work-life imbalance in diverse organizational and cultural contexts. A systematic literature review (SLR) approach was employed to synthesize findings from recent studies on work-life imbalance. This qualitative analysis integrates theoretical perspectives, such as Boundary Theory and Self-Determination Theory, with empirical evidence to comprehensively understand the phenomenon. The study examines how organizational culture, technological demands, and industry-specific challenges contribute to the imbalance of work. The findings reveal that excessive workloads, technology-driven connectivity, and unsupportive organizational cultures contribute to work-life imbalance. This imbalance negatively affects employee motivation by eroding intrinsic drivers such as achievement and recognition and extrinsic factors like compensation and job security. Additionally, the study highlights significant psychological, emotional, physical, and social consequences, including stress, burnout, and deteriorating interpersonal relationships. These impacts vary across industries and cultural contexts, emphasizing the need for tailored organizational interventions. The study underscores the importance of implementing flexible work policies, mental health support programs, and inclusive workplace cultures to enhance employee well-being and organizational sustainability. These findings offer practical guidance for organizations balancing employee productivity with holistic well-being. The study also provides a foundation for future research on the long-term effects of interventions and emerging work trends.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of organizational goal vagueness (OGV) on employee motivation, focusing on intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The research investigates how unclear goals influence employee productivity, engagement, and well-being within organizations. The study employs a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, analyzing recent studies and theories to synthesize findings on the effects of goal ambiguity. The study examines various empirical and theoretical contributions to the topic by reviewing peer-reviewed articles. The findings reveal that goal ambiguity significantly reduces employee motivation by creating confusion and uncertainty about roles and expectations. Both intrinsic motivation (personal satisfaction) and extrinsic motivation (rewards and recognition) are negatively impacted. The research also highlights that goal vagueness undermines employee engagement and increases stress, leading to burnout and decreased productivity. Additionally, clear and well-communicated goals are essential for enhancing motivation, improving performance, and fostering organizational success. The study suggests that organizations must prioritize clear goal-setting and transparent communication to mitigate the adverse effects of goal vagueness. Regular feedback, aligned objectives, and better leadership communication are essential to improve employee motivation and ensure organizational effectiveness. These findings provide practical recommendations for managers aiming to foster a motivated and engaged workforce.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemasaran online dan etika pemasaran islam terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk fashion online di Makassar.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk fashion secara online, karena populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk fashion via online. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 responden yang diperoleh dengan rumus Lemeshow. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dalam bentuk kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada seluruh populasi penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini akan diuji dengan beberapa tahapan pengujian, diantaranya yaitu uji statistik deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji autokorelasi, uji multikolinearitas) dan pengujian seluruh hipotesis melalui uji koefisien determinasi, uji parsial (uji t) dan uji simultan (uji f). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemasaran online berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk fashion online di Makassar. Hal ini berarti bahwa pemasaran online yang dilakukan dengan baik akan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Sementara itu, etika pemasaran islam berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk fashion online di Makassar. Hal ini berarti semakin baik etika pemasaran islam, maka keputusan poembelian juga akan meningkat. Kata Kunci: pemasaran online; etika pemasaran islam; keputusan pembelian. AbstractThis study aimed to investigate the impact of online marketing and Islamic marketing ethics on purchasing decisions for online fashion products in Makassar. This study's population consists of individuals who have purchased fashion items online, as the population sampled has all made online fashion purchases. Using the Lemeshow formula, as many as 100 respondents were utilized to collect samples. This quantitative research method employs a questionnaire disseminated to the total research population to collect primary data. Several tests, including descriptive statistical tests, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test), and testing all hypotheses via the coefficient of determination test, partial test (t-test), simultaneous test, will be applied to the data in this study (f test). Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that online marketing has a considerable beneficial impact on purchasing decisions for online fashion products in Makassar. This indicates that effective online marketing will influence consumer purchasing decisions. In the meantime, Islamic marketing ethics influence purchasing decisions for online fashion products in Makassar in a tangible way. This indicates that the higher the level of Islamic marketing ethics, the greater the purchasing decisions. Keywords: Online Marketing; Islamic Marketing Ethics; Buying Decision.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan pre-eksperimental design, spesifiknya One-Group pre-test post-test design. Metode ini dilakukan dengan adanya pre-test sebelum perlakuan dan post-test setelah melakukan perlakuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji prasyarat (normalitas dan homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis t-test paired dengan menggunakan SPSS 26 for Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pre-test dengan nilai post-test pada hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa. Setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran bamboo dancing. hal ini dapat terlihat bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari pre-test ke post-test. Rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 64.0476, sedangkan rata-rata nilai post-test siswa meningkat menjadi 76.4286. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing berpengeruh positif terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Kota Makassar. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara siswa. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using Bamboo Dancing learning model on the learning outcomes of speaking skills in grade 4 UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang Makassar City. This research is experimental research using pre-experimental design, the specification is one-group pre-test post-test design. This method is carried out with a pre-test before treatment and post-test after treatment to determine the effect of using the Bamboo Dancing learning model on the learning outcomes of speaking skills in students. Data analysis techniques include prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity) and paired t-test hypothesis testing using SPSS 26 for windows. The results of the analysis showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores on the learning outcomes of students speaking skills. After using the Bamboo Dancing learning model. It can bee seen that the increase in the average score from pre-test to post-test. The average student pre-test score was 64,0476, while thw average student’s post-test score increased to 76.4286. in conclusion, the use of the Bamboo Dancing learning model has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of speaking skills in class 4 UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III. Thus the Bamboo Dancing learning model can improve the learning outcomes of speaking skills in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi dan tahapan implementasi profil pelajar pancasila pada konsep merdeka belajar di UPT SPF SD Inpres Paccerakkang Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus yang dilakukan pada Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu: teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, serta studi dokumen. Adapun analisis data pada pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan interaktif dengan menggunakan model Miles and Huberman dalam menganalisis datanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi profil pelajar pancasila pada konsep merdeka belajar yaitu berdasarkan uraian hasil menyimpulan bahwa Implementasi profil pelajar pancasila telah dilaksanakan dan diimplementasikan dengan baik sesuai dengan konsep merdeka belajar melalui media pembelajaran dan budaya serta kegiatan sekolah. Tahap-tahap Implementasi profil pelajar pancasila pada konsep merdeka belajar yaitu bahwa tahap-tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen serta berdasarkan dimensi, elemen dan subelemen pada implementasi profil pelajar pancasila pada konsep merdeka belajar kurikulum merdeka dapat disimpulkan bahwa di UPT SPF SD Inpres Paccerakkang Kota Makassar sebagai sekolah penggerak telah melaksanakan implementasi profil pelajar pancasila. This study aims to describe the implementation and stages of implementing the Pancasila student profile on the concept of independent learning at UPT SPF SD Inpres Paccerakkang Makassar City. The type of research that researchers use in this research is a case study conducted in the Even Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Data collection techniques in this study are: observation techniques, interview techniques, and document studies. The data analysis in the qualitative approach is carried out interactively using the Miles and Huberman model in analyzing the data. The results showed that the implementation of the Pancasila student profile on the concept of independent learning, namely based on the description of the results, concluded that the implementation of the Pancasila student profile has been carried out and implemented properly in accordance with the concept of independent learning through learning media and school culture and activities. The stages of implementing the Pancasila student profile on the concept of independent learning, namely that the stages of implementation are carried out using interview, observation, and document study techniques and based on the dimensions, elements and subelements on the implementation of the Pancasila student profile on the concept of independent learning, the independent curriculum can be concluded that at UPT SPF SD Inpres Paccerakkang Makassar City as a driving school has implemented the implementation of the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kemajuan teknologi digital menuntut pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu platform yang mendukung pembelajaran interaktif adalah Canva, aplikasi desain daring yang memungkinkan penyusunan materi ajar secara visual dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggambarkan pelaksanaan dan dampak pelatihan penggunaan Canva yang dilaksanakan oleh tim Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 di SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Barat, sebagai bagian dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Pelatihan dirancang secara kontekstual sesuai tantangan wilayah semi-urban, seperti keterbatasan teknologi dan literasi digital. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, pelatihan melibatkan observasi, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru sebelumnya belum mengenal Canva dan masih mengandalkan metode ceramah. Namun, setelah pelatihan dua hari, sebagian besar peserta berhasil membuat media ajar visual seperti poster, presentasi, dan kuis interaktif. Media ini terbukti meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa, serta menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi. Pelatihan ini juga memicu terbentuknya komunitas berbagi antar guru, menunjukkan potensi Canva sebagai sarana pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the effectiveness of employee development strategies in enhancing workforce skills and motivation, particularly in the context of digital transformation and evolving work environments. It integrates training methodologies, career development initiatives, and motivation theories to provide a holistic framework for sustainable workforce growth. The study also identifies differences in strategy implementation between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), addressing key challenges and opportunities in employee development. Research Method: This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, synthesizing peer-reviewed journal articles and scholarly sources from Elsevier, Emerald, Wiley, and Springer published after 2018. The methodology involves structured data extraction, thematic categorization, and critical analysis to assess trends in training effectiveness, motivation, and career development strategies. By systematically reviewing recent empirical and theoretical studies, this research presents a comprehensive synthesis of the latest insights on employee development. Results and Discussion: The findings highlight that technology-driven training, mentoring, and structured learning initiatives have a significant impact on improving employee competence and motivation. A balance between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is essential for sustaining engagement and retention. The study also underscores the impact of digitalization, necessitating adaptive workforce training models. Differences in strategy implementation between large firms and SMEs reveal that while large corporations benefit from structured development programs, SMEs can leverage alternative strategies such as community-based training and collaborative skill-building initiatives. Implications: This research provides practical insights for business leaders and HR practitioners, emphasizing the importance of data-driven, flexible, and technology-integrated employee development strategies. It also offers policy recommendations for supporting workforce upskilling in response to rapid industry changes. Future research should explore sector-specific workforce development models and empirically validate these strategies in diverse organizational settings.

Abstract

Background: A few people prefer to consume medicinal plants compared to modern medicine. This is because modern medicine contains chemicals which over time can have a bad impact on the kidneys, and medicinal plants are also considered cheap treatments. Meanwhile, in our current environment, there are plants that grow and have certain benefits, but some people don't know whether these plants are herbal medicinal plants or not. By utilizing technology, people can find out about herbal medicinal plants based on the leaves by photographing them on an Android smartphone. Method: The method used to extract features from the leaf image is Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT). Aim: This research aims to recognize leaves whose images have been photographed or uploaded. The system will identify herbal medicinal plants using the leaf image of the plant using the Scale Invariant Features Transform (SIFT) method. Result: Feature Extraction and Support Vector Machine (SVM). With this system, it is hoped that users will be able to identify herbal medicinal plants that may grow in the surrounding environment. Based on the description in the background above, the problem formulation in this research is how to identify herbal medicinal plants using leaf images using Android-based SIFT feature extraction. Conclusion: The results of the confusion matrix test explain that this system has an average accuracy of 77%, which means that this system is quite good at identifying leaf images, even though the error rate is quite high at 23%.Keywords—Medicinal Plant Leafs, SVM, SIFT
