Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Tonom Village, Dumoga Timur District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from June to August 2022. The data used in this study were primary data were obtained from data from extension workers and farmer respondents through interviews using a questionnaire. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from agencies related to the research. Sampling was done by purposive sampling (deliberately) as many as 14 samples. The results show that the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Tonom Village, Dumoga Timur District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency is calculated for each score of the number of questions. The role of extension workers as motivators, educators, catalysts, organizers, communicators and advisors. The results showed that the total score was 625 compared to the highest ideal score of 840 multiplied by 100%, resulting in 74.40% in the interpretation of the value of the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of corn farming farmers, the risks faced by corn farming farmers, and how much risk is faced by farmers. The research was conducted in Lompad Baru Village, Ranoyapo District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from April to August 2022. The selection of respondents was intentional. Primary data is data obtained directly from the field through interviews using a questionnaire to each corn farming farmer. Secondary data, namely data obtained through related agencies such as the field agricultural extension office in Ranoyapo District and the Lompad Baru Village office. The results showed that the total income earned by all corn farming farmers was IDR14,200,000 with an average income earned by corn farming farmers amounting to IDR1,420,000. The risks of corn farming in the study area are production risks originating from disturbances of plant-disturbing organisms (pests, diseases and weeds), erratic weather/climate (long dry spells) and minimal availability of subsidized seeds; price/market risk stems from high corn fertilizer prices and high pesticide prices; institutional risk; human risk; financial risk. The level of income risk faced by corn farming farmers is low with a coefficient of variation (KV) of 0.56.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of the Green Lestari farmer group in agricultural extension activities in Tondei Satu Village, West Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency. This research started from April to June 2022. The data analysis method used in this study was descriptive analysis using a Likert Scale, the number of samples used in this study totaled 11 people. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from direct interviews with the Hijau Lestari farmer group using a questionnaire, while secondary data was obtained from the Tondei Satu Village Government. The results of this study indicate that the participation of the Hijau Lestari farmer group in agricultural extension activities in Tondei Satu Village, West Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency is classified as active. Where is the total overall score of 353 with a percentage of 89.14.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of consumer satisfaction at tourist attractions Melby'LS Tomohon City. This research was conducted in September 2022. The data used in this research consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with 50 respondents using a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained through tour owners, the internet and other sources related to this research. The results showed that the level of consumer satisfaction at the Melby'LS tourist spot from the product, price, service and emotional variables was 74.43% of the consumers at the Melby'LS tourist spot were satisfied (P) with the product, price, service and emotion applied.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of consumer satisfaction of organic vegetables at Jumbo Supermarket Manado. This research was conducted from May 2022 to October 2022. This study uses two types of data, namely primary and secondary data. The method used in sampling is the non-probability sampling technique where the collection of information and knowledge from respondents uses the accidental sampling method. Respondents in this study were consumers who had made a purchase and were willing to be interviewed as many as 30 respondents. The data were analyzed using Likert scale measurements. The results showed that the level of consumer satisfaction of organic vegetables at the Jumbo Supermarket in Manado was categorized as very satisfied, based on the results of the study with an index of 87.29%. Consumers are very satisfied with the price and availability of organic vegetables, freshness (physical appearance of vegetables), place, and quality of service at Jumbo Supermarkets.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of farmers income in paddy rice in Mogoyunggung Dua Village, Dumoga District East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. Thris research was conducted for 3 months, namely from Oktober to Desember 2022, which is located in Mogoyunggung Dua Village. The Population collection in this study used a census technique for lowland rice farmers. As for the determination of the sample that is with took 19 people incolved in paddy rice farming. The results of the study show that the average income of paddy rice farming obrained by farmers in Mogoyunggung Dua Village is IDR465.990.000 while the average per ha is IDR13.645.000. Farming costs are all expenses that occur during a certain period of time. The average cost of lowland rice farming incurred by farmers in Mogoyunggung Dua Village is IDR189.529.671 while the average bus pm ha is IDR5.549.917.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of customer satisfaction at the Abang Mustache Coffee café, in terms of product, price, place, promotion and service aspects. This research was conducted in September - November 2022. The data collection method used in this study used primary and secondary data. Respondents in this study consisted of 89 people selected using accidental sampling technique. Data is measured with a Likert scale, then analyzed using the Consumer Satisfaction Index. The results showed that the level of customer satisfaction at the Abang Kumis Coffee café is classified as very satisfied with a consumer satisfaction index of 81.28%. More specifically for each aspect, the level of satisfaction with the product is 83%, price is 85.09%, promotion is 85.16%, service is 83.81% which is classified as very satisfied while 74.16% is only included in the satisfied category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Apple Tomato Farming Income in South Tosewer Village, West Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from February to April 2023. The data collected included primary data obtained from direct interviews with tomato farmers as owners using questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained through research reports on the internet, journals and others related to the research. Sampling using purposive sampling method. The sample in the study amounted to 4 people who had tomato farms as owners and who harvested together in the last growing season. The research was analyzed using farm analysis, namely cost analysis, revenue, income and continued with the revenue cost ratio. The results showed that the average income obtained in Apple Tomato farming in South Tonsewer Village, West Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency was Rp52,098,950 per one planting period, which was obtained from the average revenue of Rp62,125,000 and the average total cost of Rp10,026,250. The R/C Ratio analysis shows that Apple Tomato farming in South Tonsewer Village, West Tompaso District, Minahasa Regency is feasible. This can be seen from the ratio of total income to total costs which is greater than one, namely 6.196.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the shallot commodity supply chain at the Bersehati Market in Manado City and to determine the marketing efficiency of the shallot commodity supply chain at the Bersehati Market in Manado City. This research was conducted at the Bersehati Market from January 2023 to March 2023. The sample determination in this study used a purposive sampling method. There were 24 research respondents consisting of 4 wholesalers and 20 retailers. This study uses two types of data, namely primary and secondary data. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the shallot supply chain at Bersehati Market is based on product flow moving from upstream to downstream starting from farmers, collectors, retailers, wholesalers, retailers and consumers. Financial flows move from downstream to upstream starting from consumers, retailers, wholesalers, collectors and farmers with cash payment systems and bank transfers. The flow of information moves from two directions, information is provided regarding the quality, quantity and price of shallots. The marketing efficiency level of shallots at the Bersehati Market is below 33%. This shows that the shallot supply chain at the Bersehati Market in Manado City has been efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' perceptions of e-commerce through Facebook. The research was conducted at during to Juni 2023. The data collected is primary data obtained from direct interviews with student of the Department of Socio-Economics Faculty of Agriculture Sam Ratulangi University. Secondary data is obtained from journals, research reports taken from the internet. The data collected of the study were analyzed by descriptif. The results showed that the perceptions on the doubling of Facebook functions as social media into e-commerce facilities received good appreciation because it made it easier and helped save time, money and energy. Student’s perceptions of using Facebook e-commerce, namely buying and selling goods through Facebook e-commerce is very easy because the transaction method is the same as using Facebook in general, so they have almost no obstacles in carrying out e-commerce activities through Facebook. Students' perceptions of e-commerce services through Facebook are very good because in conducting e-commerce activities through Facebook, buyers and sellers always prioritize friendliness and courtesy when interacting in terms of bargaining activities.
