Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine and examine the attitudes of land owners towards the agricultural land conversion in Woloan Village, West Tomohon Subdistrict, Tomohon City. The study was conducted from September 2020 to November 2020. The data used in this study are primary and secondary. Primary data were obtained from respondents who owned land that had converted the land, while secondary data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, the government of Woloan Satu Village, Woloan Dua Village and related agencies. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The research results of this study showed that the land owner agrees to the  agricultural land conversion based on 3 aspects, the first is cognitive aspects, affective aspects and conative aspects. The attitude of land owners towards the conversion of agricultural land is at the index point of 67.55% and is in the good category.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the perception of rice farmers on agricultural technology in Tatengesan Village, Pusomaen Sub District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from March to April 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data obtained from direct interviews with lowland rice farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Tatengesan Village Office, Sub District Seed Center Office, Regency Agriculture Service and data related to researches taken from the internet. Sampling was carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling as many as 30 samples.The research results showed that the perception of lowland rice farmers on agricultural technology in Tatengesan Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency was in the good category. This is proven based on the results of research with a perception index of 74.73 percent which was classified as the good category.

Abstract

This study aimeds to determine the role of farmers in the of irrigation water management in Ollot Village, West Bolangitang District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The study was carried out from March to April 2021. The data used in the study were in the form of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with rice farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Ollot Village Office, as well as data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling was carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling as many as 30 samples.The results showed that the role of farmers in the management of irrigation water in Ollot Village was included in the category of “participate”. Farmers participated in two elements, namely utilizing irrigation water channels and maintaining irrigation channels. However, there were still farmers who “less participate” in the maintenance part because there was no regulatory agency.

Abstract

This study aimED to analyze the profits of fruit traders located from the front of the Teling gas station to the front of the Teling Adventist Hospital in Manado City. The research was conducted in August 2020.The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from 8 respondents (traders) related to this research. The analysis used was profit analysisThe results showed that the total revenue of fruit traders in Teling Sub District, Manado City for one month was Rp. 16,000,000 and a total cost was Rp.12.043.279. This means that traders got a profit of Rp. 3,653,769.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine and describe the impact of agricultural conversion on farmers incomes is Solog Village, Lolak Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from May 2021 to July 2021. The data collected is primary data obtained from direct interviews with farmers who own agricultural land using a questionnaire. Sampling by purposive sampling, namely from the populations of farmers affected by land conversion, a total of 35 farmers, samples taken as many as 15 respondents.The research result showed that, the impact of the conversion of agricultural land on the income of farmers in Solog Village, Lolak Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency was positive impacts after land conversion such as the opening of new jobs, new business opportunities such as traders (selling near industrial factories) and the proceeds from land sales repairing houses and buying new houses. Negative impact after land conversion was farmers’ income decreases from farming (rice and corn), reduced food production (rice), lack of agricultural land because it has been converted. Formerly farmers who owned the land are now sharecroppers (leasing land). Some of the proceeds from the sale of land are not used as business capital but are used for other purposes such as daily living expenses, so that the monthly income stops.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the profits of the captikus business  by using Revenue Cost Ratio Analysis in Pinaras Village, Tomohon City. This research was conducted from February 2021 to April 2021.The data collected is primary data by using direct interview techniques to captikus entrepreneurs as respondents. Secondary data were obtained from books, internet, thesis, journals and other sources related to this research. Sampling was Purposive Sampling samples by taking as many as 7 respondents.The results of research on captikus business in Pinaras Village, Tomohon City showed that this business is profitable with a total profit of Rp. 30,032,520 with an average of 4,290,360 for one month of production so that a one-time production total profit of Rp. 1,072,590. From the calculation of the R/C value obtained by 2.43 so that it can be concluded that the captikus business in Pinaras Village, Tomohon City is feasible to run.

Abstract

Insil Village Passi Timur Sub District is one of the village that develop ginger plant supported by its land condition suitable for this plant. Farmers are not aware of the prospects of this plant even though during this pandemic there are many requests of this product from the public.            The objective of this research is to the income of red ginger farming in Insil Village, East Passi Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from June to July 2021. The data collected were primary data obtained from direct interviews with red ginger farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Insil Village Office, BPP Office and data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling was  purposive sampling where 6 samples from a population of 73 farmers who could be found who harvested in June 2021 when the research took place.             The research results showed that the red ginger farming in Insil Baru Village was profitable in terms of the income of each farmer, which averaged Rp 8,508,166 in one growing season. Therefore, red ginger farming has good prospects as a superior product.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to understand and describe the dynamics of lowland rice farmer groups in Karua Village, Balusu Sub District, which is studied from the aspects of farmer group dynamics. This research was conducted from August 2021 to September 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data obtained from direct interviews with farmer groups using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from agencies related to this research, including the Department of Agriculture, Balusu Agricultural Extension Center, as well as data related to this research taken from the internet. Sampling by purposive sampling, namely from the population of rice farmers' groups totaling 177 people, the samples taken were 70 respondents.The research results showed that the dynamics of farmer groups in Karua Village, Balusu Sub District, assessed from the aspects of group dynamics consisting of group communication, conflict within groups, cohesion within groups, strength in groups, and problem solving in groups belonged to the near dynamic category.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the impact of the pandemic on the economy has made it difficult for the people of the Sea Mitra Village to find jobs which include casual (informal) workers, As a result the wages or salaries received are not suitable for the daily needs of the family. In the social sector, it affects community groups resulting in worship meetings and community organizations not being able to be held in crowded places. The objective of this research is to determine and describe the socio economic conditions of the community during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sea Mitra Village Pineleng Sub District Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from May 2021 July 2021. The data collected is primary data obtained from direct interviews with the community using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Sea Mitra Village Office, as well as data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling wa carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling, namely as many as 28 samples. The research result showed that the socio-economic conditions of the Sea Mitra Village comunity during the Covid-19 pandemic experienced a decrease in main income and side income before the pandemic and during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of rice farming in Talikuran Village, Sonder District, Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out from October to November 2021. The data collected in this study were in the form of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with rice farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Talikuran Village Office and partly from the internet. Thirty farmers were selected randomly from a population of 97 farmers.The results showed that rice farming was profitable for farmers because the income per hectare received by rice farmers in Talikuran Village was IDR 4,331,715.22 in one growing season with an R/C ratio of 1.24.
