Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study conducted on 30 August-22 September 2013 in the Sumpur village, South Batipuh District, Tanah Datar Regency West Sumatra Province. Aims of this study wasto determine the change in villagers'culture and local wisdom implementation of Sumpur to the preservation of Bilih fish populations in Batur lake. This studiy used a qualitative approach fenomologis method. Primary and secondary data collection used purposive sampling technique. Local Wisdom of Sumpur village under taken to the preservation of Bilih fish populations in Singkarak lake, because the people able to preserve the aquaticenvironmen of Lake Batur preserve fish populations bilih. Abstract

This research was carried out in February 2020 in Lubuk Puding Village, Buru District, KarimunRegency, Riau Islands Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of fishermen'swives, to describe the use of time, and to find out the contribution of fishermen's wives in helping toimprove the economy of fishermen's households to reduce the burden of family dependents in LubukPuding Village, Buru District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province. The method used is a surveymethod by selecting respondents through a census, namely fishing households have a working wife. Thenumber of respondents as many as 25 people.The results of this study indicate that the fisherman's wife's activities include activities that are not carriedout, namely processing salted fish, processing fish crackers, processing shrimp crackers, processingshrimp paste, processing dried shrimp and processing atomic crackers. The average working time forUndomestic activities is 16.04 hours/week. The contribution of fishermen's wives to the household incomeof fishermen who own nets is in the low category, which is 21.23%. The contribution of net fishermen'swives is in the medium category, which is 40.25%. The contribution of fishermen's wives who own trapsis in the very low category, namely 18.81%. The contribution of the fishermen's wife of bubu fishermen isin the low category, which is 21.51%.

Abstract

Belawan Sicanang Village is a sub-district that still has a mangrove forest ecosystem in the city of Medanwith a mangrove area of about 470 ha is divided into the fisheries an area 466 ha and ecotourism sectorswith an area of 4 ha. This research was conducted in Belawan Sicanang Village, Medan Belawan District,North Sumatra, Indonesian in 05 January – 05 February 2021. This study aims to measure the amount ofeconomic value obtained by Mangrove Ecotourism in Belawan Sicanang Village seen from consmersurplus with individual travel cost. Method respondents were determined using accidental samplingmethod with a total of 40 respondents. The result of the study concluded that in calculating the economicvalue of Belawan Sicanang Mangrove Ecotourism using the travel cost method with a consumer surplusvalue (CS), it was obtained IDR 412,169 per year and the economic value seen from the travel costmethod was IDR 1,648,159,472 per year.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Juli 2012 at Beringin subdistrict Deli Serdangdistrict of North Sumatera province. It was aimed to found determine whatcaused the goal has not been achieved and to found out the dinamycs level with toknow its group dynamic factors that influence the dynamics level of fish farmergroup MawarThe research was using case study methode, by collecting informationdirectly, interview by using questioner and observation. Determination of therespondents used the census where the number of respondents in research were allmambers of the group of Mawar that add up to 20 people. The results of researchgroups indicates purpose has not been achieved because the absence of a cleartask structure and the absence of norms/ sanctions within the groupMawar so thatthe members are still working on group activities with the will ordesire of eachmember. Abstract

The research was implemented in Bagan Hulu Village, Bangko District, RokanHilir Regency, Riau Province at February 2012. The purpose of this research is todescribes fisher’s business beside catching fish and determine the income fromthat business. The methods that used in this research is survey method, thetechnique sample that applied is simple random sampling. Fisher population thathas been working beside catching fish is about 101 peoples. It is about 30% fromthis population are taken as respondent.The fisher jobs beside catching fish in this district is Bakau wood seller about 46,7%; BBM merchant is about 13,3%; oil palm farmer is about 13,3%; sand carrier isabout 16,7%; motorcycles travel rent is about 6,7%; and work at fisheries sourcesprocess is about 3,3%. The income for the fisher, from the business besidecatching fish is about Rp.250.000 – Rp.850.000 per month.Keywords: Fisher, Off Fishing, Income.

Abstract

This research was conducted in August 2013. The objectives of this studywere: 1) Determine the survival strategies run by fishermen laborers 2) Know thefishermen’s labor reason refained his job as a fisherman in the village MeskomBengkalis Bengkalis District of Riau Province. Respondents in this study were 21people living as fishermen by sensus method. Survival strategies undertaken byfishermen had seen from social and economic strategy. Social strategies, amongothers, Patron client relationship and Gathering (Arisan). Abstract

Fishery business is one of the fisheries and marine sub-sectors where this business requires relatively large capital. Fishermen financing is still an obstacle in developing fishery businesses, especially small-scale capture fisheries carried out by marine tribal fishermen because the catch and capital are considered unstable. For this reason, there is a need for research to find out what the structure of business financing carried out by marine tribal fishermen is like. The purpose of this study was to analyze the investment, financing structure and financial feasibility of the sea tribe fisherman's business. The method used to analyze the data in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 54 people. From the results of data analysis, it is known that the average investment is Rp. 14,325,674, -/ year. The average cost incurred in this business is Rp. 43,600,949/year, with an average income of Rp. 89,345,580/year and a profit of Rp 45,744,631/year. The R/C ratio value of 2.04 means that the business is feasible to continue where every additional Rp. 1, - will provide a profit of Rp. 2.04. The ROI value of 3.19 means that the business is feasible to continue, PP 0.31 means that the investment can return within a period of 0.31 years (fast return category), and NPV IDR 42,952,705 has a positive value, meaning that the business is feasible to continue.

Abstract

Penelitian Analisis Usaha Alat Tangkap Jaring Insang Tengah (Midwater Gillnet) di Kecamatan Bukit Batu ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 - 27 April 2021 yang berlokasi di Desa Dompas, Sejangat dan Pakning Asal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis total investasi yang dikeluarkan, menghitung pendapatan bersih, dan menganalisis kelayakan usaha penangkapan. Total nelayan yang menjadi responden berjumlah 64 orang dan menggunakan kapal 1 GT dan 1,5 GT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada nelayan yang menggunakan alat tangkap jaring insang tengah, diketahui total investasi yang dikeluarkan untuk kapal 1 GT sebesar Rp. 22.800.000, dan untuk kapal 1,5 GT sebesar Rp. 33.800.000. Untuk pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh kapal 1 GT adalah sebesar Rp. 153.000 dalam satu hari, serta kapal ukuran 1,5 GT sebesar Rp. 596.000 dalam satu hari. Utuk biaya perawatan kapal 1 GT sebesar Rp. 3.672.000 dan untuk kapal 1,5 GT sebesar Rp. 5.778.000. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui total NPV kapal 1 GT sebesar Rp. 71.200.000 dan untuk NPV kapal 1,5 GT sebesar Rp. 90.200.000. Perhitungan nilai BCR yang didapatkan adalah 1,46 untuk kapal ukuran 1 GT, dan 2,43 untuk kapal ukuran 1,5 GT. Sesuai dengan ketetapan apabila BCR > 1 maka kegiatan usaha penangkapan dengan jaring insang tengah ini layak untuk dipertahankan.

Abstract

This research was done about prospect of tourism development in Tongging Village, Merek Subdistrict, Karo Regency, North Sumatera Province. This research was aimed to determine the development trend of tourism, the development trend of aquaculture businesses and the prospects of developing Tongging tourism. The method used is a survey method. The results showed that the trend of Tongging tourism development in the next five years increased, while the development trend of the cultivation business had decreased. The prospect of development Tongging is seen from the backward linkages including the natural potential in the form of the natural beauty of the lake which is surrounded by mountains, facilities and infrastructure such as lodging, restaurants and places of worship, accessibility to both private and public transportation and the support of the Regional Government. While the future linkage of Tongging tourism development includes the addition of tourist attractions such as cultural tourism, rental of tires and buoys or banana boats. Furthermore, the future linkage of the development of Tongging tourism is an increase in the number of tourists visiting along with the development of Tongging tourism, especially in culinary tourism so that it attracts tourists to visit. The future development of Tongging tourism will also open new jobs to meet the needs of tourists while in Tongging. From this Tongging tourism development, it will also increase the people's income from the tourism business that is run and increase regional income from the levies imposed on tourists.

Abstract

Research on Break Even Analysis Point and Business Risk of Enlargement of Tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus) in Floating Net Cages carried out in November 2018 in Pulau Terap Village, Kuok District, Kampar District, Riau Province. This study aims to Analyze Break Even Point, Analyze the magnitude of business risk and the sources of risk found in the business of raising tilapia in the KJA business. The method used is the survey method with a total of 22 respondents. From the results of the study it was found that the BEP Q value for each cycle was 8088.9 kg, and BEP was IDR. 3793,512 / kg. Thus, the business of enlarging tilapia cultivation is feasible, because the value of BEP Q and BEP value is IDR Smaller than that at the research site. Based on the calculation, the variation coefficient value and lower profit limit value can be seen that the variation coefficient value <0.5 and the lower limit value of the profit are worth (> 0). This shows that the business will experience the benefits to be received by fish farmers in carrying out efforts to enlarge Tilapia in Floating Net Cages. Based on the results of the business analysis carried out there are sources of production risk identified in this Tilapia enlargement business. The sources of production risk are seed quality and supply, mortality, feed quality, disease, weather, and human resources.
