Abstract

ABSTRAKThis studyaims to determinethe increase inhousehold incomeoffishermanthroughfisherman's wife participation to support husband earn a living,sowifecould contribute tohouseholdandreduce economic responsibilities. Thisresearchused survey method is the method through purposive samplingas manyas20fisherman’s wives.The result shows that the fisherman's wife has a significant role insupporting the household economy. Wife's role in support household economicmake wife doing a double role in the household. Fisherman's wife contributethrough such kind of job: rubber tappers, processing of fishery products,fishmonger, daily traders and seamstress. The wife’s contribution was work asrubber tappers, so the conclution was that alternative activities can be developedthrough UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises).Keywords : Fisherman wife, houshold income, contribution.

Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch about the relationship between success of volume of sale and demand of seeds of Trachinotus Blochii was conducted from October 16th to November 7th, 2014, in Center of Fishery of Mariculture, Batam, Riau Island. This research aimed to see the development of trend of production and demand, and also its relationship and influence on the success of sales volume. The method used was Survey Development Research method. The result of research showed that the trend of development of production and demand of seeds of Trachinotus Blochii increases with average quantity for production is 56,162.5 seeds (16.3%) and average quantity for demand is 98.750 seeds (22.8%). While, the relationship and influence between the volume of sales and demands is 97.4%, Adjusted R Square 93.3% and Unstandardized Coefficient 59%.Key words: Trachinotus Blochii, Development, Production.

Abstract

This research was conducted in April 2017 which is located in Maninjau Lake Jorong Galapung Nagari Tanjung Sani, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency, West Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of fish farmers, to know adaptation strategy conducted by fish farmers and to know the relationship of characteristics with fish farming strategy. The method used in this research is survey method. Respondent in this research is household of fish farmer counted 48 people.Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the characteristics of cultivators in terms of age belong to the old category (> 50 years), the characteristics of education are quite good, the characteristics of family dependents are small and the characteristics of the experience of cultivation are low. The adaptation strategies undertaken by the farmers are adaptation strategies for diversification of economic activities, mobilization of household members, utilizing social networks and work migration. Having seen the relationship between the characteristics of cultivators with adaptation strategies of fish farmers known age factor does not prevent respondents to keep looking for alternative jobs. On the characteristics of education, the strategies undertaken by respondents are not varied. The number of dependent respondents who on average in the small category did not make the respondent perform various adaptation strategies. While the experience long enough to be a cultivator does not prevent the cultivators to seek strategies outside cultivation.Keywords: Strategy, Adaptation, Lake Maninjau, Tubo Balerang

Abstract

ABSTRACT    This research is about the analysis of Tenggiri fish cracker (Emy Atom Cracker) business, aims to find out the acceptance, profit and analyze business feasibility by using business profitability. This research was conducted in April 2018 in Malang Village Meeting of Gunung Kijang District, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. The research method uses a case study method, the respondents taken in this study are Emy Atom Cracker business owners. The results of this study show a total investment of IDR.265,119,200, the total production cost of IDR.44,853,120, with a fixed cost of IDR.1.439.920 and a percentage of income of 3,2% and a fixed cost of IDR.43,413,200 and the percentage of income of 96,7% profit of 1 month emy atom cracker business of IDR.34,446,900.               Analysis of Revenue Cost Ratio (RCR) business profitability in Emy Atom Cracker business of 1,7 in accordance with RCR Criteria shows that the Emy Atom Cracker business is feasible to be developed, Payback Period Of Capital (PPC) in Emy Atom Cracker business is 7,6 which means it takes time for 7 year 6 month for the return of investment by Emy Atom Cracker entrepreneurs, the Profit to Investment Ratio (ROI) in the Emy Atom Cracker business of 13% as with the ROI criteria which means this effort is successful to be developed. Keywords: Crackers, Mackerel Fish, Business Analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the income of UPR,and analyze the feasibility of the Unit Pembenihan Rakyat (UPR)whether it is appropriate to proceed or not. This research was conducted in May 2018 at UPR which is located in Tanjung Harapan Subdistrict, Solok City, West Sumatra Province.The research method uses survey methods.Respondents were taken in this study is 4 people including the manager / owner of each UPR in Sub Tanjung Harapan Solok.The results of this study indicate a total investment of IDR. 794.542.000  The highest total investment amount is IDR. 219.283.000 while the smallest total investment is IDR. 173.797.000. The average total production cost is IDR. 112.628.151 the largest total production cost is Rp. 140.524.500 and the smallest is IDR. 90.012.675.The average income is IDR. 5.003.903. The highest income is UPR Tanjung Paku Jaya, the lowest income is UPR Bina Mandiri Sejahtera with an income of IDR. 3.715.718 However, for UPR Tanjung Paku Jaya, which conducts minapadi activities is IDR. 7.247.958. The feasibility analysis of Revenue Cost of Ratio (RCR) for each UPR actor in Tanjung Harapan Subdistrict, Solok City, the largest is  1,6 and the smallest is 1,4. The average payback period of capital (PPC) of fish hatchery business conducted by the UPR perpetrator is 3,5 for the highest period of capital (PPC), which is 4,9 and the lowest is 1,9.Keywords: Unit Pembenihan Rakyat (UPR) , Income, Business Feasibility

Abstract

This research was conducted on 28 July to 14 August 2013 in the PerhentianLuas Village, Logas Tanah Darat District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province.This research purposed to investigate the characteristics of fish farmers, knew theattitude of farmers towards government assistance, knew the relationship betweencharacteristics of multiple variables with farmers attitude towards governmentassistance. This research used survey method. Respondents in this research was fishfarmers who received government assistance.Results of farmers attitudes toward government aid analysis was mostly good,namely 64.29%. Farmers attitude towards farming activities also showed a goodattitude at 50.00%. Results of farmers attitude analysis with some characteristicsvariables obtained after correlated have known that the relationship between age didnot correlate perfectly to the assistance with rs 0.062 its smaller than the value of P(0.832). While on production value greater than (0.344) P (0.228) mean age hadeffect on tilapia farming activities. Education was not perfectly correlated to the aidand on production with a value of 0.125 Spearman rank correlation value less than P(0.670) and the value of correlation Spearman Rank. While income was not perfectlycorrelated to aid with rs 0.212, less than P value (0.466), as well as on aquacultureactivities, it’s smalleer than P (0.744) that’s mean income didn’t have effect onaquaculture.Kata Kunci : Attitude, Government assistance, Aquaculture.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT              This study attempts to analyze the capital, cost and feasibility of fisherman business bottom drift gill net. fisherman developing the fishing industry in the Village Tanjung Lajau Kuala Indragiri Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency Riau Province. The reseach result show the total investment invested by fishermen in the business ranges from IDR155,918,000 to IDR 165,937,700 with an average of IDR 157,985,500. The total cost of the net in doing business ranges from IDR.120.269.000 to IDR. 128,237,000 with an average of IDR123,217,820. Average net income of fishermen bottom drift gill net from per trip that is equal to IDR. 2.027.000. Average net income of bottom drift gill net per year in doing business ranges from IDR. 57.119.236  to IDR. 126.498.443  with an average of IDR.93.949.180.Whose average score BCR 1,76, value FRR 59,42% and value PPC 1,8 years. Abstract

ABSTRACT Marketing Distribution of Gouramy Seeds (Osprhonemus gouramy) in Group Fish Cultivator Ingin Maju,  Kecamatan Luak, Lima Puluh Kota District, Sumatera Barat Province.This research was conducted from March to April 2019.The method used is the survey method by conducting observations directly into the field by collecting data through interviews based on questionnaires, determining respondents using purposive sampling and snowball sampling as many as 34 respondents fishermen, while respondents marketing institutions as many as 3 collectors, 1 wholesaler and 3 retailers.Based on the results of the study it can be explained that gouramy seeds (osprhonemus gouramy) size of 1 inch marketing channel is economically efficient, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, which is 65%, and the marketing margin value of IDR. 1330 per head. Marketing channel 2 is also an economically efficient marketing channel, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, which is 65% and the marketing margin value of IDR. 982 per head. Marketing channel 1 is a marketing channel that is less economically efficient, seen from the farmer's share value of less than 50%, which is 30% and the marketing margin value of IDR. 1110 per head. For gouramy seeds 2 inch size economically efficient marketing channel, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, namely 53.47%, and the marketing margin value of IDR. 1552 per head. Marketing channel 2 is also an economically efficient marketing channel, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, which is 53.47% and the marketing margin value of IDR. 1962 per head. Marketing channel 3 is an economically efficient marketing channel, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, which is 53.47% and the marketing margin value of IDR. 1332 per head. While the gouramy seeds 3inch size of the marketing channel is economically efficient, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, which is 63.08%, and the marketing margin value of IDR. 2022 per head. Marketing channel 2 is also an economically efficient marketing channel, seen from the farmer's share value of more than 50%, which is 63.08% and the marketing margin value of IDR. 2022 per head. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in March 2019 in Tanjung Pasir Village, Tanah Merah sub-district, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province.The purpose of this study were to identify the types of activities, identify the factors of the wives of fishermen to work, and analyze the contributions of the fishermen's wives in increasing household economic income.The method used is the survey method whivh uses purposive sampling technique,with the total of respondents 18 people.The results showed that the activities of the wives of fishermen including Undomestik activities were 1 person daily kiosk (5.55%), 1 rice stall (5.55%), 1 people processed salted fish (5.55%), 1 shrimp paste processing people (5.55%), and Nipah broom makers as many as 2 people (11.11%) while the activities of fishermen's wives included in public activities are: Peeling ebi shrimp 1 person (5.55%), selling vegetables 1 person (5,55%), and Fishermen by 10people (55,55%).The contribution of Duano Tribe fishermen's wives in improving the household economy in Tanjung Pasir Village, Tanah Merah Subdistrict was in the Medium category of 36.83%. The factors that influence the Duano Fishermen's Wife in Tanjung Pasir Village to work are internal and external factors but in general are due to economic demands, especially after the husband's income decreases and expenditures are not in line with the husband's income, demanding the Duano Tribe Fisherman's wife to come to work.Keywords:Contributions, Domestic and Public Activities, Internal and external factors

Abstract

The research was conducted in July 2014. This study aims to examine the factors that affect the group dynamics of each group of fish farmers and to determine the level of group dynamics in each group fish farmer. The method used in this study is a survey method with each group of respondents 10 respondents.The level of group dynamics in the Maju Bersama group is in the dynamic category with a score of 660 while the category Rezky Air group less dynamic with a score of 439. The results of this study indicate that factors the differences between the Maju Bersama groups and the Rizki Air group is the most important group goals. At the destination factor Maju Bersama group members and administrators want to jointly build a better business by way of aligning the price of fish production as well as a desire to grow their business.
