Abstract

The dynamics of airport operational activities often lead to discrepancies between scheduled and actual departure times, particularly in cases of flight delays. One of the resulting implications is the lack of synchronization in gate boarding assignments at Terminal 1 of Juanda International Airport, which affects the clarity of information and passenger convenience. This article aims to describe the factors contributing to gate boarding discrepancies and to analyze their impact on departure flow and passenger experience. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through direct observation and interviews with Terminal Inspection Services (TIS) personnel involved in gate management. The findings indicate that airline operational delays, limitations of the Flight Information Display System (FIDS), the implementation of a less adaptive dedicated gate system, and inconsistencies between boarding gates and aircraft parking stands are the main factors influencing the effectiveness of departure services. These findings highlight the importance of improving operational coordination and implementing more flexible gate management systems to support smoother departure processes and enhance overall passenger service quality at the airport.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of consumer trust in mediating the effects of affiliate marketing and online customer ratings on purchase decisions for fashion products among Shopee users in Surabaya. A quantitative approach was used in this research, with data collected through questionnaires from 100 Shopee users in Surabaya. The data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to examine the direct and mediating relationships between the variables: affiliate marketing, online customer ratings, consumer trust, and purchase decisions. Validity and reliability tests of the instruments were also performed to ensure the accuracy of the variable measurements in this research model.The findings indicate that affiliate marketing does not significantly drive consumer purchase decisions. However, consumer trust plays a key role in mediating the relationship between affiliate marketing and purchase decisions. Without trust, affiliate marketing promotions have limited influence. Additionally, online customer ratings positively influence purchase decisions, and consumer trust is crucial in mediating the relationship between online customer ratings and purchase decisions. Positive ratings from other customers enhance trust in both the product and the seller.

Abstract

The Business Identification Number (NIB) is an important part of the business licensing system because it helps Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to obtain licenses, access funding, and participate in various government programs. In addition, the NIB also serves as a legal identity that forms the basis for MSMEs to start and run their business activities officially. However, in reality, many business actors still do not understand what the NIB is or how to apply for one, causing them to encounter difficulties in the NIB registration process. This condition is clearly evident in Kalisari Village, where many business actors do not have an NIB not because they do not need one, but because of a lack of information and guidance. Through an internship program run under the guidance of the Cooperative Office, MSMEs assistance activities in Kalisari Village focus on providing education, disseminating information on regulations, assisting with the use of the OSS system, and assisting business owners with the registration process.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi program Sertifikasi Halal Gratis (SEHATI) melalui jalur self-declare pada 20 pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) makanan dan minuman di Kelurahan Keputran, Surabaya. Kewajiban sertifikasi halal yang akan berlaku penuh pada Oktober 2024 menjadi dasar urgensi kegiatan ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah kombinasi survei minat awal, sosialisasi mendalam, dan pendampingan teknis hands-on untuk pendaftaran melalui sistem SiHalal, guna mengatasi kendala non-finansial seperti literasi digital dan pemahaman prosedur Sistem Jaminan Halal (SJH). Partisipasi UMKM dalam kegiatan tercatat sebesar 67%. Angka ini terbilang rendah meskipun motivasi mereka tinggi. Penghambat utama adalah literasi digital yang masih rendah dan prosedur yang dipersepsikan berbelit-belit oleh para pelaku UMKM. Kesimpulan ini menekankan bahwa keberhasilan sertifikasi self-declare sangat ditentukan oleh peran aktif pendamping sebagai fasilitator administrasi sekaligus edukator teknis. Oleh karena itu, perlu diupayakan peningkatan intensitas pendampingan, penyederhanaan prosedur administratif, dan percepatan verifikasi BPJPH guna menjamin keberlanjutan dan efektivitas program SEHATI di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

The research aims to understand the impact of work discipline and competence in part on the performance of employees as well as the influence of working disciplines and competences on Employee Performance with organizational commitment as a variable of moderation. This case study was conducted on one of the tourism companies that moved in the area of amusement parks in the city of Surabaya. The sample in this study consisted of 103 permanent employees with saturated/sensus sampling techniques. The type of data used is quantitative data. Primary data collection techniques use questionnaires distributed to permanent employees and secondary data of permanent employees from the entertainment park tourism company in the city of Surabaya. This study uses Smart PLS data analysis. The conclusions of this study showed that in part work discipline and competence contributed to improved Employee Performance, while organizational commitment as moderation could not contribute to the relationship of work disciplines and competencies in improving Employee Performances.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of digital capability and digital literacy on PT Pegadaian's micro employees on business performance both directly and through employee innovation. PT Pegadaian has a mission to be able to provide service excellence with a customer focus through simpler and digital business processes to be able to continue to compete with competitors so as to improve the company's business performance. One of the efforts that can be made to achieve this mission is that PT Pegadaian employees are required to have innovation and be supported by digital capability and digital literacy. The research is a quantitative research with convenience sampling method and data analysis using Smart PLS. The results of the analysis in show that digital capability & digital literacy do not have a direct role in improving business performance. Digital capability & digital literacy must take advantage of employee innovation to improve business performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial ratios on stock prices with company size as a moderating variable. This study was used population includes IDX30 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique, so that 15 companies were selected with a total of 75 data during the study period. This study was used moderation regression analysis with SPSS software version 26. The research shows the results that the liquidity ratio has a positive effect on stock prices, while the profitability ratio and leverage ratio have no effect on stock prices. Company size can moderate the relationship between liquidity ratio and stock price, but company size cannot moderate the relationship between profitability ratio and leverage ratio on stock price.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, perceived ease of use, security, and self-efficacy on the interest of Generation Z in Surabaya in using Wondr BNI mobile banking. The background of this study is based on ai the low adoption rate of Wondr BNI even though Gen Z is a group of digital natives who are active in using digital financial services. The research method used is quantitative with purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 120 respondents, consisting of Gen Z residing in the city of Surabaya. Data analysis was conducted using (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS 4.The results show that financial literacy does not have a significant effect on interest in use, indicating that the adoption of mobile banking no longer requires a deep understanding of finance. Instead, perceptions of ease of use, security, and self-efficacy were found to have a positive and significant effect on interest in use.

Abstract

The main aim of this analysis is to examine how corporate governance alter the effect of financial performance and debt on stock prices. Secondary sources, such as documents and literary evaluations, were used to collect the information that was acquired. The population of this study is comprised of businesses that have been designated as IDX ESG Leaders for the period of time spanning from 2020 to 2024. By using a method known as purposive sampling, we were able to choose 17 out of thirty organisations to serve as our sample, which resulted in the collection of 85 data points for the research. Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) was used for the analysis this time. On the basis of the findings, it was determined that the stock prices of IDX ESG Leaders were significantly impacted by financial performance and leverage between the years 2020 and 2024. As a result of corporate governance, the stock prices of companies that are included on the IDX ESG Leaders list will be significantly influenced by the financial performance and leverage of these companies throughout the years 2020–2024. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work engagement on employee performance, to analyze the effect of work environment on employee performance, to analyze the effect of work engagement on employee performance through job satisfaction, and to analyze the effect of work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction. The research method uses a quantitative approach with the population consisting of all employees of PT. Kiat Ananda Group, totaling 80 people. The sample for this study used a census technique, where the entire population was included as the sample. Data processing and analysis were performed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the SmartPLS 3.0 software to test the relationships between variables. The results indicate that work engagement and work environment have a positive effect on employee performance. Moreover, job satisfaction was found to significantly mediate the effects of work engagement and work environment on employee performance. These findings suggest that improving employee performance can be achieved through enhancing work engagement and a conducive work environment, supported by high levels of job satisfaction
