Abstract

Islamic values are often considered to hinder self-development, a mistaken assumption that deviates from the true teachings of Islam. Learning religion from an early age actually increases an individual's capacity to grow wiser, more analytical, and more resilient in facing problems, and to distinguish between benefits and harms. This research in Bojongsari Village, Banyumas, examines the strengthening of Islamic values in adolescents as a preventive strategy against the influence of Western-style sexual behavior that is increasingly prevalent in the era of globalization. Using a qualitative approach, the study results show that internalizing faith, morals, and worship successfully forms a moral barrier. Support from family, religious leaders, and educational institutions through religious studies, spiritual guidance, and contextual religious literacy has proven effective in shaping a strong Islamic character. Thus, strengthening Islamic values is a strategic step to ensure adolescents maintain noble morals and are not easily eroded by cultures that conflict with religious teachings.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Watuagung pada mata pelajaran IPA materi peristiwa alam melalui model pembelajaran Meaningfull Instructional Design (MID). Subyek penelitian siswa kelas V berjumlah 24 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan dengan tes dan nontes . Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan angket rasa ingin tahu, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, dan lembar evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar siswa. Rasa ingin tahu pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 2,88 dengan kriteria baik dan rata-rata pada siklus II 3,32 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I memperoleh rata rata 68,10 dengan kriteria baik, pada siklus II 82,45 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 3,14 dengan kriteria baik, pada siklus II 3,73 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 2,39 dengan kriteria baik, pada siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 3,34 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model MID dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar IPA di kelas V SD Negeri Watuagung.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research is motivated by the low motivation of students in the Geography learning process. This can be seen during learning activities, most students are less enthusiastic in learning activities due to various factors, namely: students tend to get bored following lessons, students lack mastery of the material, and so on. This Classroom Action Research aims to increase students' learning motivation in geography subject of eleven social studies one senior high school one Jatibarang Brebes through case study learning model. This research is a class action research conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings, each meeting consists of 2 lesson hours. The implementation planning of each cycle includes planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection used observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation techniques. The research subjects were students of class eleven social studies one senior high school one Jatibarang which amounted to 35 people. The results of this study indicate that the case study learning method that has been carried out can increase student learning motivation in Geography learning. This can be seen from the overall score of student learning motivation before the action of 40.91% included in the low category, cycle I of 52.74% included in the medium category. Then in cycle II it increased again to 63.25% including in the high category. So it can be said that the actions that have been taken are in accordance with what is expected.
