Abstract

Logic is an analysis of methods of thinking. Logic emphasizes the form more than the content of  arguments. mathematical logic is often also called the symbolic-logic is a part of mathematics that explores the application of formal logic to mathematics. This has a close relationship with the basic fundamental thinking of mathematics and theoretical computer science.In this research we do three important things, the first is conventional symbolic-logic training for SLB Negeri 1 Bantul. The second step is making of symbolic-logic learning application for deaf students called DUTAlogic and the third is seeing the comparison between conventional learning and learning using the DUTAlogic.Based on data analysis that was done. Thar result show that increase in symbolic logic ability (T) is 50%, increase in the ability of symbolic natural accuracy (N) is 50%. The used of DUTAlogic application is more attractive to deaf students because they feel happier, easier, more-understanding, more concentrated and more creative when doing symbolic-logic learning.

Abstract

Information Technology has been implemented in some sectors in life. One of them is the usage of Information Technology for online commerce. Mitra Sejahtera Disabled Person Organization has some featured products which are sold locally in some places nearby and only in Gunung Kidul. The usage of Information Technology in marketing will help people to expand the basic consumer and market. On the other hand, Mitra Sejahtera Disabled Person Organization does not have enough access and ability to start and open online shop. Furthermore, the usage of the smartphone for member of Mitra Sejahtera Disabled Person Organization has not been optimal yet, like the utilization of social media as an official account. Training and empowerment activities to Mitra Sejahtera Disabled Person Organization will contribute in increasing and optimizing the utilization of social media and e-commerce. This training and empowerment activities also will give some knowledge to the participant about how to open online shop in one of the biggest online marketplace in Indonesia. The result of this activity is official account in media social. The participant also encouraged and trained to start online shop in one of the biggest online marketplace platform in Indonesia.

Abstract

Crowdsourced Labelling is a large scale data labelling process, solicits a large group of people to label the data, usually via Internet. This paper discusses about design and implementation of Web-based Crowdsourced Labelling. Supervised learning classification methods need labelled training data for its training phase. Unfortunately, in many cases, there aren’t any already available labelled training data. Large scale data labelling is a tedious and time consuming work. This research develops a web-based crowdsourced labelling which able to solicit a large group of people as data labeler to speed up the data labelling process. This system also allows multiple labeler for every data. The final label is calculated using Weighted Majority Voting method. We grabbed and used Facebook comments from the two candidates’ Facebook Page of 2014 Indonesian Presidential Election as testing data. Based on the testing conducted we can conclude that this system is able to handle all the labelling steps well and able to handle collision occurred when multiple labeler labelling a same data in the same time. The system successfully produces final label in CSV format, which can be processed further with many sentiment analysis tools or machine learning tools. Abstract

In this paper we will discuss how to design and analysis a repository system in university, Duta Wacana Christian University (DWCU). The system is web-based, and implements Dublin Core (DC) metadata, using tagging systems, and implements Open Archive Initiatives-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) data provider. The term Institutional Repository (IR) appears since 2003 and is now widely used in various institutions including universities. IR university is a place that contains digital work data, both scientific and non-scientific research from entire academic community of the university. IR univesitry contains many formats such as documents (text), audio (sound), and video. Development of the system has been conducted by the author and team and produce a repository that has appropriate permissions to the stored data, it is applying the standard DC metadata and tagging on each of its file, it has preview feature, and able to perform searching based on tag and DC metadata that previously stored in it. The results concluded that implementation of DC metadata that store permanently in each file, causes each file has a unique metadata signature, so that each file downloaded from the system is actually (originally) comes from UKDW institutional repository. The use of tagging on each file allows categorization and retrieval based on tags, and OAIPMH protocol implementation allows IR data provider collaborate and integrate with other OAI-PMH systems, such as Portal Garuda that owned by Indonesian Higher Education (DIKTI). Abstract

Implementation of Information Technology in agriculture sector is able to raise farming productivity. One of the Information Technology implementation is mapping system for agriculture land which has not only data collection but also strategic role. This paper discusses literature review of implementation of web mapping system, either from user perspective and functional perspective. On the end of the paper will discuss feature, opportunities, and challenges to develop and implement Web Mapping System. This paper also gives some recommendatios in order to support web mapping system implementation.

Abstract

Nowadays, many Christian institutions are using digital media to save spiritual pictures, musics or videos, even daily devotional articles which is usually printed monthly. Since many daily devotionals are published in the Internet, it will be difficult to find a daily devotional articles with a spesific topic/category. To make it easier, in this research we use Rocchio’s classification, which use TF-IDF weighting for classification and centroid calculation in every category to classify daily devotional articles. Every testing article will be matched with the centroid using cosine similariy. As a result, the system accuracy is 73,33% using 20% of feature selection. The highest precision goes to Wisdom category which score is 1 for precision by using 100% feature selection. While the highest recall goes to Motivaton category which score is 1 by using 100% feature selection.. Abstract

Instagram is the most famous pictures and videos media sharing based on the web & mobile application. Instagram users can have picture posts that can be commented by their followers. Indonesian public figures such as actors, actresses, musicians use Instagram to promote their activities to their followers. Unfortunately, there are a lot of spam comments in Instagram that need special attention and have to be removed. This research grabs Instagram comments and builds the dataset from Indonesian public figures who have more than one million followers. By using preprocessing (tokenization, stop words removal, and stemming), TF-IDF weighting, and supervised learning, Naive Bayes method is used to detect spam comments in Indonesian. Naive Bayes produces 74,31% accuracy rate on unbalanced datasets and 77,25% accuracy rate on balanced datasets. This result shows that Naïve Bayes can be used to build an automatic Indonesian spam comments detector on Instagram with high accuracy rate. The novelty of this research is that Naive Bayes can be used to detect spam comment on our Indonesian Instagram comments dataset. Abstract

Mempersiapkan daya saing masyarakat dalam industri era 4,0 dari generasi imigran digital memiliki tantangan tersendiri. Dewan Paroki Santa Maria Assumpta Klaten adalah contoh dari sebuah komunitas yang sebagian besar diisi oleh orang yang lahir sebelum generasi Milenium, atau sebelum 1980. Tugas kerja dan pelayanan dewan paroki sendiri memerlukan banyak bantuan teknologi dalam mempersiapkan, mengelola dan melaporkan program pastoral. Google Suite dipilih sebagai teknologi yang diharapkan dapat membantu pekerjaan dewan paroki. Pelatihan Google Suite disediakan dalam empat sesi, masing-masing berfokus pada pembuatan akun, penyimpanan data dan manajemen file, kolaborasi pengeditan file, koordinasi acara bersama, dan pembuatan formulir online. Pada akhir pelatihan, kuesioner dikerahkan untuk mengukur tingkat penerimaan teknologi. Dari perhitungan yang dibuat, disimpulkan bahwa Dewan Paroki Santa Maria Assumpta Klaten memiliki niat baik untuk belajar Google suite dan menganggap bahwa aplikasi ini bermanfaat untuk kegiatan pelayanan gerejawi mereka.Preparing competitiveness in the Industry 4.0 era towards the people from digital immigrant generation has its own challenges. The Parish Council of Santa Maria Assumpta Klaten is an example of a community that is mostly filled by people born before the millennial generation, or before 1980. The work and service assignments of the Parish Council itself require a lot of technological assistance in preparing, managing and reporting pastoral programs. Google Suite was chosen as a technology that is expected to help the work of the Parish Council. Google Suite training is provided in four sessions, each of which focuses on account creation, cloud storage and file management, file editing collaboration, coordination of shared events, and online form creation. At the end of the training, a questionnaire was deployed to measure the level of acceptance of the technology. From the calculations made, it was concluded that the Parish Council of Santa Maria Assumpta Klaten had good intentions to study Google Suite and considered that this application was beneficial for their ecclesiastical service activities.

Abstract

The number of collections in a library will be increase along with the growth of the library. The Library of Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) also has a large number-of books collection in order to provide literature and resources service to students. Wen the number of collection is very large, we need a retrieval system that will help anyone to find the needed resoLtrces. This system has a recommendation feature to provide related books or resources. This feature will help users to find similar literature/resources or related topic with what they need. This paper will describe about the main design and implementation of the book recommendation based on FP-Growth algorithm. Based on the experiments, this system can provide 60.78% of accuracy for related books recommendation.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi komputer dan telekomunikasi telah menjadi kebutuhan dansangat membantu dalam menyelesaikan banyak pekerjaan dengan cepat, akurat, danefisien. Namun seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, terdapat dampak negatif berupapenyadapan data sehingga aspek keamanan dalam pertukaran informai dianggap penting.Dalam dunia informasi terdapat data-data penting dan bersifat rahasia yang tidak bolehdiketahui oleh umum.Kriptografi merupakan salah satu solusi atau metode pengamanan data yangtepat untuk menjaga kerahasiaan dan keaslian data, serta dapat meningkatkan aspekkeamanan suatu data atau informasi. Metode ini bertujuan agar informasi yang bersifatrahasia dan dikirim melalui suatu jaringan, seperti LAN atau Internet, tidak dapat diketahuiatau dimanfaatkan oleh orang atau pihak yang tidak berkepentingan. Kriptografimendukung kebutuhan dua aspek keamanan informasi, yaitu perlindungan terhadapkerahasiaan data informasi dan perlindungan terhadap pemalsuan dan pengubahaninformasi yang tidak diinginkan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma AES dengan panjang kunci 256 bitdapat menyandikan isi suatu file sehingga dapat mengamankan file tersebut. Ukuran fileenkripsi akan bertambah 11 bytes dari file asli karena adanya proses penambahan headeryang berisi informasi ekstensi file. Dalam pengembangan sistem berikutnya diharapkansistem dapat mempunyai fasilitas untuk menyembunyikan folder yang digunakan untukmenyimpan file enkripsi maupun file dekripsi.
