Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are chronic diseases that develop slowly, are not transmitted between humans or animals, and usually show no symptoms in their early stages. Prevention efforts through early detection of NCDs can be carried out in health facilities such as community health centers (Puskesmas). Puskesmas Bangkalan plays a crucial role in the examination of NCDs. However, the current process has several shortcomings in terms of time, cost, service, and resources. This study aims to improve the efficiency of the early detection process of NCDs at Puskesmas Bangkalan through the approach of Business Process Reengineering (BPR). The methods used include data collection, business process analysis, throughput efficiency testing, and solution implementation. The results of the study indicate that the application of BPR can increase the throughput efficiency of the patient registration process and physical activity examination from 66.67% and 64.28% to 100% respectively. The recommendations from this process resulted in a web-based interface design to enhance process efficiency.

Abstract

An efficient product return process is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction, particularly for SMEs like CV. Berkah, which operates in the handicraft sector. This study aims to redesign the product return process using the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) approach with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The research involves an in-depth analysis of business workflows, throughput efficiency testing, and identifying technology-based solutions. The findings show that the proposed process increases throughput efficiency from 93.23% to 99.16%, reducing return completion time from 1,330 minutes to 1,201 minutes. Automation in key stages, such as complaint logging and data verification, minimizes manual involvement and administrative errors. This study concludes that integrating BPR with information technology is essential for accelerating business processes, enhancing productivity, and supporting the sustainability of SMEs in a globally competitive era.Keywords: Business Process Reengineering; Business Process Modeling Notation; Information Systems; Legacy System AbstrakProses pengembalian produk yang efisien merupakan aspek penting dalam menjaga kepuasan pelanggan, khususnya bagi UMKM seperti CV. Berkah yang bergerak di sektor kerajinan tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang proses pengembalian produk melalui pendekatan Business Process Reengineering (BPR) dengan notasi Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Proses penelitian melibatkan analisis mendalam terhadap alur bisnis, pengujian efisiensi throughput, dan identifikasi solusi berbasis teknologi informasi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa proses yang direkomendasikan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi throughput dari 93,23% menjadi 99,16%, dengan waktu penyelesaian retur berkurang dari 1.330 menit menjadi 1.201 menit. Otomatisasi pada tahapan penting, seperti pencatatan keluhan dan verifikasi data, mengurangi keterlibatan manual dan kesalahan administratif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi BPR dan teknologi informasi untuk mempercepat proses bisnis, meningkatkan produktivitas, serta mendukung keberlanjutan UMKM di era persaingan global.

Abstract

This study focuses on redesigning business processes at Kentaro Club, a taekwondo club in Kota Serang, to address inefficiencies in manual member registration and tuition payment processes. The methods used include observation, interviews, business process analysis, and redesign using Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN). The manual processes showed throughput efficiency of 61.29% for member registration and 82.35% for tuition payments. The proposed web-based process, featuring payment gateway integration and digital e-cards, improved throughput efficiency to 100%. ROI calculations revealed a time reduction of 59.6% for member registration and 50.88% for tuition payments. This new system enhances service speed, accuracy, and supports the digitalization of Kentaro Club's operations, providing an efficient and effective technology-based business model.Keywords: Business Process Reengineering; Efisiensi; Return On Investment; BPMN; Taekwondo Club   AbstrakPenelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan ulang proses bisnis di Kentaro Club, sebuah klub taekwondo di Kota Serang, untuk mengatasi inefisiensi pada pendaftaran anggota dan pembayaran SPP manual. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, analisis proses bisnis, dan perancangan ulang menggunakan Business Process Reengineering (BPR) serta pemodelan BPMN. Proses manual menunjukkan efisiensi throughput sebesar 61,29% pada pendaftaran anggota dan 82,35% pada pembayaran SPP. Proses usulan berbasis web, dengan fitur seperti payment gateway dan e-card digital, berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi throughput menjadi 100%. Perhitungan ROI menunjukkan pengurangan waktu sebesar 59,6% untuk pendaftaran anggota dan 50,88% untuk pembayaran SPP. Sistem baru ini meningkatkan kecepatan layanan, akurasi, dan mendukung digitalisasi operasional Kentaro Club, memberikan model bisnis berbasis teknologi informasi yang efisien dan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and redesign the business processes in Bakery Resep Nenek, which still relies on manual processes in product sales. By implementing Business Process Reengineering, which is described through the Business Process Model and Notation, the research focused on identifying process obstacles and implementing information technology-based solutions. Data was obtained from interviews and documentation, followed by system testing to evaluate how effective the proposed design is. The test results show that implementation of a web-based system can increase the efficiency of the product sales process, from the initial 43% to 100%. The manual processes that was previously the main obstacle in business operations was successfully optimized throughp the automation of order recording and reporting. With this structured system, the business process becomes fast, accurate, and has minimal errors. The conclusion of this study shows that information technology-based redesign has proven effective in accelerating operational processes and business competitiveness.Keywords: Business Process; Business Process Reengineering; Business Process Model and Notation; Information Technology    AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membuat rancangan ulang pada proses bisnis di Bakery Resep Nenek yang masih mengandalkan proses manual dalam penjualan produk. Dengan menerapkan Business Process Reengineering, yang digambarkan melalui Business Process Model and Notation, penelitian berfokus pada identifikasi hambatan proses dan penerapan solusi berbasis teknologi informasi. Data diperoleh dari wawancara dan dokumentasi, dilanjutkan pengujian sistem untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif rancangan yang diusulkan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem berbasis web dapat meningkatkan efisiensi proses penjualan produk dari yang awalnya 43% menjadi 100%. Proses manual yang sebelumnya menjadi hambatan utama dalam operasional bisnis berhasil dioptimalkan melalui otomatisasi pencatatan pesanan dan pelaporan. Dengan sistem yang terstruktur ini, proses bisnis menjadi cepat, akurat, dan minim kesalahan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan rancangan ulang berbasis teknologi informasi terbukti efektif untuk mempercepat proses operasional dan daya saing bisnis

Abstract

Sistem pelaporan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis sangat diperlukan pada semua jenis usaha karena banyak permasalahan yang dapat diminimalisir jika sistem pelaporan telah maksimal. Contoh permasalahan mengenai sistem pelaporan adalah yang terjadi pada Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Pendidikan yang menerima pelaporan dari setiap Sekolah, salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi adalah tidak adanya sistem standar yang dapat memudahkan Sekolah dan UPTD Pendidikan untuk menyusun pelaporan. Secara prosedur setiap Sekolah yang berada pada Kecamatan harus menyerahkan laporan yang disahkan oleh Kepala Sekolah kepada Kepala UPTD. Kondisi yang terjadi pelaporan dilakukan secara rutin dengan mengetikkan seluruh atribut yang dibutuhkan, walaupun terdapat banyak hal yang secara teknis tidak perlu ditulis kembali. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis terhadap permasalahan pelaporan di tingkat UPTD Pendidkan, kemudian merancang dan membangun sistem informasi menggunakan metode waterfall dan memanfaatkan CodeIgniter,Kata Kunci : CodeIgniter, Metode Waterfall, Sistem Informasi, UPTD Pendidikan.

Abstract

Rekayasa ulang sistem merupakan salah satu cara untuk meninjau kembali efektifitas dan efisiensi sebuah sistem jika sistem tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan organisasi dan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan bisnis. Kejaksaan Negeri Batu perlu dilakukan rekayasa ulang sistem karena ditemukan proses permintaan informasi yang sudah tidak sesuai perkembangan saat ini dan telah berjalan lebih dari 15 tahun. Masyarakat harus datang langsung ke kantor untuk mendapatkan informasi dengan proses yang cukup panjang dan tidak ada jaminan permintaan akan langsung terpenuhi. Salah satu cara untuk melakukan rekayasa ulang sistem adalah dengan Business Process Reengineering (BPR). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan juga uji efisiensi throughput dan analisis proses menggunakan standar ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Pada penelitian ini ditemukan proses permintaan informasi memiliki nilai efisiensi yang mencapai 10,61%, namun saat dilakukan rekayasa ulang ditemukan 6 proses yang dieliminasi, 3 proses yang diotomatisasi, dan 1 proses yang diotomatisasi secara online. Hasil akhir nilai efisiensi mencapai 100%.Kata Kunci : Rekayasa Ulang Sistem, Business Process Reengineering, Reengineering, Informasi Perkara, Legacy System.

Abstract

Information technology is a technology that is developing rapidly at this time. Computers as student learning media have many functions such as audio, animation, visual, and interactive capabilities. The main problem in the field of education is the low interest in reading students and reading habits. The library is expected to help increase students' interest in reading and reading habits. SMA Muhammadiyah has a new library and is still manual in recording borrowing and returning books. This makes it difficult for librarians to search for data and is at risk of losing books. It is difficult for students to find book information and the irregular placement of books makes the process of borrowing books ineffective and inefficient. Therefore, a web-based library information system is needed to make it easier for students to borrow books. The Waterfall method will be used to help design the library system at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Cipondoh. The Waterfall method is a method that is very commonly used in the early stages of the manufacturing process. Application features developed by researchers at the Muhammadiyah 2 Cipondoh High School library include logins, book master data, book loan transaction data, book return transaction data, and book borrowing reports. Library information system development uses the PHP CodeIgniter 3 framework. The front ends used are HTML 5, CSS 3, and Bootstrap version 4.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, kebutuhan akan sistem informasi menjadi hal krusial dalam menunjang kegiatan administrasi dan operasional di berbagai instansi. PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sidoarjo selain bergerak di bidang jasa kelistrikan juga memberikan kesempatan para pelajar untuk merasakan seperti apa dunia kerja sebenarnya melalui kesempatan magang yang diberikan oleh perusahaan. Dalam pelaksanaan pendataan peserta magang selama ini pengelolaan dilakukan secara manual sehingga memunculkan berbagai kendala seperti duplikasi data, keterlambatan pencetakan sertifikat, dan kesulitan dalam pemantauan jumlah peserta magang yang aktif. Permasalahan ini mendorong dilakukannya penelitian untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen peserta magang yang mampu memfasilitasi proses pendataan peserta magang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, yang meliputi empat tahap utama: analisis, desain, pengkodean, pengujian sistem menggunakan metode black-box. Dalam rancang bangun yang telah dilakukan berhasil menghasilkan sebuah sistem yang dapat memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Keystroke Dynamics Authentication (KDA) is a technique used to recognize somebody dependent on typing pattern or typing rhythm in a system. Everyone's typing behavior is considered unique. One of the numerous approaches to secure private information is by utilizing a password. The development of technology is trailed by the human requirement for security concerning information and protection since hacker ability of information burglary has gotten further developed (hack the password). So that hackers can use this information for their benefit and can disadvantage others. Hence, for better security, for example, fingerprint, retina scan, et cetera are enthusiastically suggested. But these techniques are considered costly. The advantage of KDA is the user would not realize that the system is using KDA. Accordingly, we proposed the combination of Naïve Bayes and MHR (Mean of Horner’s Rule) to classify the individual as an attacker or a nonattacker. We use Naïve Bayes because it is better for classification and simple to implement than another. Furthermore, MHR is better for KDA if combined with the classification method which is based on previous research. This research showed that False Acceptance Rate (FAR) and Accuracy are improving than the previous research.

Abstract

Software Defined Network (SDN) network controllers have limitations in handling large volumes of data generated by switches, which can slow down their performance. Using parallel programming methods such as threading, multiprocessing, and MPI aims to improve the performance of the controller in handling a large number of switches. By considering factors such as memory usage, CPU consumption, and execution time. The test results show that although RYU outperforms POX in terms of faster execution time and lower CPU utilization rate, POX shows its prowess by exhibiting less memory usage despite higher CPU utilization rate than RYU. The use of the parallel approach proves advantageous as both controllers exhibit enhanced efficiency levels. Ultimately, RYU's impressive speed and superior resource optimization capabilities may prove to be more strategic than POX over time. Taking into account the specific needs and prerequisites of a given system, this research provides insights in selecting the most suitable controller to handle large-scale switches with optimal efficiency.
