Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematika siswa SMP melalui pendekatan Means Ends Analysis (MEA). Tahapan pendekatan MEA meliputi identifikasi perbedaan antara Current State dan Goal State, organisasi Sub Goals dan pemilihan operator atau solusi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah enam siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Mejayan Kabupaten Madiun. Teknik pengambilan subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik yaitu membandingkan data hasil tes dan data wawancara. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah siswa kemampuan tinggi mampu mengidentifikasi dan memahami informasi penting dari permasalahan, mampu melakukan abstraksi, terampil mengoperasikan simbol matematika serta mampu menuliskan langkah penyelesaian dengan sistematis dan rinci. Siswa kemampuan sedang mampu mengidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan masalah namun belum sistematis menuliskan langkah penyelesaian. Siswa kemampuan rendah mampu menyelesaikan masalah namun tidak menuliskan langkah penyelesaian secara sistematis dan rinci serta tidak menuliskan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dapat dikaji lebih lanjut untuk dijadikan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat efektifitas media flipbook dalam pembelajaran farm education dengan pendekatan STEAM terhadap prestasi belajar ditinjau dari gender siswa tunagrahitas SLBN Karangrejo Madiun. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi exsperiment dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh sebanyak 16 siswa. Analisis yang digunakan yakni ANAVA dua jalan dengan sel sama. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes yang terdiri dari 20 soal pilihan ganda. (1) Analisis hipotesis yaitu H0A diterima, maka Tidak terdapat perbedaan keefektifan penggunaan media flip book dan tanpa menggunakan flip book terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, (2) Berdasarkan hasil analisis hipotesis yaitu H0A diterima , maka tidak terdapat perbedaan efektifitas media flip book dan tanpa menggunakan flip book terhadap prestasi belajar siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, dan (3) Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan yaitu H0AB diterima, maka Tidak terdapat interaksi antara media flip book dan tanpa menggunakan flip book terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan pemberlakukan media flipbook dalam pembelajaran farm education dengan pendekatan STEAM tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SLBN Karangrejo Madiun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif antara model pembelajaran kooperatif Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII di SMPN 2 Geger, (2) prestasi belajar yang lebih baik diantara siswa yang memiliki minat belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Geger.Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling dan dua kelas secara acak sebagai sampel dari 5 kelas yang ada, jumlah siswa dari dua kelas yaitu 57 siswa. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis variansi dua arah (F-test). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran teams games tournament lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) prestasi belajar siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa dengan minat belajar sedang dan rendah, (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa

Abstract

Bahan ajar yang digunakan di SMPN 02 Wungu masih bersifat konvensional. Pada proses pembelajaran matematika peserta didik hanya memahami materi melalui buku dan penjelasan dari guru sehingga tidak ada timbal balik komunikasi. Selama proses pembelajaran peserta didik terlihat tidak antusias. Belum banyak materi yang menggunakan LKPD sebagai bahan ajar. Agar peserta didik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, antusias dan kemapuan berpikir abstrak dalam pembelajaran, peneliti mengembangkan E-LKPD dengan model pembelajaran Diskursus Multi Representasi menggunakan website interaktif Live Worksheets untuk materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dengan metode pengembangan atau sering disebut RnD (Research and Development). Penelitian pengembangan ini memakai model pengembangan ADDIE. Kevalidan bahan ajar E-LKPD berbasis Diskursus Multi Representasi (DMR) adalah valid. Pada penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan E-LKPD memperoleh persentase kevalidan sebesar 82,5%. Angket respon peserta didik memperoleh persentase kevalidan sebesar 87,78%. Kepraktisan bahan ajar E-LKPD berbasis Diskursus Multi Representasi (DMR) termasuk kedalam kategori sangat praktis ditinjau dari hasil angket respon peserta didik SMPN 02 Wungu yang menunjukkan 85,42 % pada uji coba terbatas dan 86,88% pada uji lapangan. Sehingga bahan ajar E-LKPD berbasis Diskursus Multi Representasi (DMR) layak untuk digunakan dan diterapkan serta dapat membantu proses kegiatan pembelajaran untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir abstrak peserta didik.

Abstract

Mathematical Literacy ability has important for prospective mathematics teachers. It is closely related to Computational Thinking (CT). The aim of this study is to produce CT-students worksheets to improve the mathematical literacy of prospective mathematics teachers. The development study using model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Thirty-seven would-be maths teachers participated in the study's sixth semester. Subject criteria are students who are not familiar with CT. The instruments in this study were CT-based student worksheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, pre-test and post-test questions. The results showed that CT-based student worksheets met the criteria of valid (validity percentage of 84.5%), practical (practicality percentage of 88.68%), and effective (N-gain value of 46.91%). Based on these results, it's appropriate to conclude that CT-based student papers can help students who want to become math teachers learn more about math. Recommendations for further research can be made on the development of a wider material and a wider subject as well.

Abstract

In the contemporary period, it is imperative for individuals to possess a repertoire of abilities encompassing problem-solving, critical thinking, and computational thinking. In contexts where challenges exhibit a growing level of intricacy and unpredictability. Efforts were made to improve these capabilities. Among them is the integration of learning in this modern curriculum. Mathematics is a branch of science that is expected to be a means for students to hone their abilities. The purpose of this study is to identify trends and research patterns published on the relationship between computational thinking and critical thinking dispositions in solving mathematical problems using bibliometric analysis. In addition, this article also encourages further research to explore various aspects related to the development of sustainable critical thinking and computational thinking in the context of problem-solving in mathematics learning. Data obtained from the Google Scholar database which has been refined with 4 stages (identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion). The results of the study show that 2020 is the year with the highest and most influential publications because it has the highest h-index value. The research focus related to this topic from 2013-2023 is divided into 4, namely, 1) problem, student, and critical thinking; 2) computational thinking, teacher; 3) mathematics and projects; 4) disposition and science. Project and critical thinking skills are novelty on this research topic.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students' abstraction while abstraction ability is a very important ability possessed by students. Based on the results of observations and interviews with one of the mathematics teachers at SMPN 1 Jiwan, it was found that students were not able to apply appropriate concepts when working on mathematical problems. In addition, the learning process carried out at SMPN 1 Jiwan still uses conventional methods with the lecture method assisted by print media. This causes a lack of enthusiasm of students when participating in learning. This study aims to develop AVATAR learning media with the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model which includes videos, material, sample questions, and practice questions adapted to indicators of abstraction ability and presented interactively so as to improve students' abstraction abilities. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model which consists of the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the deployment stage. The results obtained from this study were that the AVATAR learning media was declared valid with a percentage of 85.00% and very practical with a percentage of 86.36% based on the student response questionnairePenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan abstraksi peserta didik sedangkan kemampuan abstraksi merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan salah satu guru matematika di SMPN 1 Jiwan diperoleh hasil bahwa peserta didik belum mampu mengaplikasikan konsep yang sesuai pada saat mengerjakan permasalahan matematika. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Jiwan masih menggunakan cara konvensional dengan metode ceramah berbantuan media cetak. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya antusias peserta didik pada saat mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran AVATAR dengan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition yang di dalamnya memuat video, materi, contoh soal, dan soal latihan yang disesuaikan dengan indikator kemampuan abstraksi serta disajikan secara interaktif sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan abstraksi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan penggunaan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri atas tahap pendefinisian, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap penyebaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran AVATAR dinyatakan valid dengan hasil persentase 85,00% serta dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan persentase 86,36% berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik.

Abstract

The abstraction process will describe an activity that will lead to concept formation. Abstraction ability is one of the goals in understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the results of observations and interviews with mathematics teachers at SMPN 1 Kebonsari, the learning results of VIII-grade students in doing math problems show that there are still many students who have not been able to apply concepts in solving problems. Meanwhile, the learning process still uses a lecture learning model and there is no innovation in the teaching materials used. The purpose of this research is to produce LKPD which contains a summary of the material, example problems, and structured problems that can help improve abstraction abilities named AT-Worksheet with the Group Investigation learning model as one of the solutions students can improve their abstraction skills in learning mathematics. The method used in this research is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The results of this study are AT-Worksheet which is valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics to improve the abstraction ability of 8th-grade students of SMPN 1 KebonsariProses abstraksi akan menggambarkan sebuah aktivitas yang akan mengarahkan ke pembentukan konsep. Kemampuan abstraksi menjadi salah satu tujuan dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru matematika SMPN 1 Kebonsari bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII dalam mengerjakan soal matematika terlihat masih banyak siswa yang belum mampu mengaplikasikan konsep dalam menyelesaikan soal. Sedangkan proses pembelajaran di kelas masih menerapkan metode ceramah dan belum ada inovasi bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menghasilkan LKPD yang memuat ringkasan materi, contoh soal, dan soal-soal terstruktur terstruktur yang didukung dengan gambar dan desain yang menarik yang diberi nama AT-Worksheet dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation sebagai salah satu solusi siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan abstraksinya dalam belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini ialah AT-Worksheet yang valid dan sangat praktis. Hasil validasi diperoleh persentase sebesar 85,00% dan memenuhi kriteria valid. Hasil angket respon siswa diperoleh presentase sebesar 82,07% dan memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis, sehingga AT-Worksheet bisa dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan abstraksi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kebonsari.

Abstract

Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) is a learning approach that does not focus on class level but rather focuses on the level of cognitive ability of each student in the class. This approach provides students with the opportunity to learn according to their cognitive abilities. Meanwhile, Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning model that provides problems in real life with the aim that students are expected to be able to build their own knowledge and understanding of the material they study. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in class VII-E of SMP Negeri 11 Madiun through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model using the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This research was conducted in 2 cycles on March 7 2024 and March 28 2024 using Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects of 28 class VII-E students at SMP Negeri 11 Madiun for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research process was carried out by implementing learning in groups according to the level of students' cognitive abilities and given problems through LKPD. One class is divided into 7 groups according to the results of the diagnostic assessment that have been analyzed. Groups 1, 2 and 3 consist of students who have low ability to solve problems independently who are then given guidance and scaffolding, groups 4 and 5 have moderate ability to solve problems independently and are given a little scaffolding. Meanwhile, groups 5 and 6 have high abilities in solving problems independently. The data collection instrument used in this research is student learning outcomes (Summative Assessment). From the initial test results, it was found that only 8 students' learning outcomes data met the KKM with a percentage of students' learning completion of 28.57%. In cycle I, the learning outcomes of students who met the KKM increased to 16 students with a percentage of student learning completion of 57.14%. Then in cycle II there was an increase again, where the learning outcomes of students who met the KKM became 23 students with a percentage of student learning completion of 82.14%, while the other 5 learning outcomes did not meet the KKM. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Madiun by using the Team Pair Solo learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection technique used in this research is a test. Data analysis in this research uses quantitative and qualitative analysis. This research consists of two cycles. At the pre-cycle stage, the learning outcomes of students who achieved the KKM score were 36.7% or 11 students. The results of this research show that in cycle I the students who achieved the KKM score or completed were 60% or 16 students and in the second cycle the students who achieved the KKM score were 83.3% or 25 students. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Team Pair Solo learning model can improve student mathematics learning outcomes
