Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the collaboration between the principal, teachers, and employees to produce quality education. The purpose of this study was to determine the principal's motivation, communication, and parental participation factors, which together influence the job satisfaction of teachers in elementary schools, and which variables are the most dominant in influencing teachers’ performance. This study uses an explanatory research type with three independent variables: principals (X1), communication (X2), and parent participation (X3), and one dependent variable, namely the performance of teachers (Y). The results of hypothesis testing are calculated as follows: (a) Variable X1 is 0.137 with a probability of 0.105. Because tcount > ttable (1.70 > 0.483) and the level of significance t > 5 % (0.835 > 0.05), variable X1 affects the dependent variable (Y); (b) Variable X2 is 0.227 with a probability of 0.281. Because tcount < ttable (1.70 > 1.020) and the level of significance t > 0.5 % (0.320 > 0.05), the variable (X2) affects the dependent variable (Y); and (c) Variable X3 is 0.267 with a probability of 0.226. Because tcount < ttable (1.70 > 0.750) and the significance level of t > 0.5 % (0.462 > 0.05), the variable (X3) has some influence on the dependent variable (Y). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the dominant variable is (X2) of 0.227 with a probability of 0.281.Keywords: principal's motivation, communication, parent participation, teachers’ performance.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kerjasama antara kepala sekolah dengan guru dan karyawannya dapat menghasilkan mutu pendidikan yang berkualitas. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor motivasi kepala sekolah, komunikasi, dan partisipasi orang tua secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di sekolah dasar serta Variabel mana yang paling dominan (motivasi kepala sekolah (X1), komunikasi (X2), Partisipasi Orangtua (X3)) yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Explanatori, dengan variabel bebas yaitu (X1), (X2), (X3) mempunyai pengaruh terhadap (Y). Hasil pengujian hipotesis didapat: (a) Variabel X1 sebesar 0,137 dengan probabilitas 0,105. Abstract

Karakter siswa merupakan aspek fundamental dalam pendidikan dasar. Melalui pembelajaran, siswa tidak hanya menguasai pengetahuan akademik, tetapi juga menyerap nilai-nilai moral dan etika yang membentuk kepribadiannya. Kurikulum Merdeka menempatkan pendidikan karakter sebagai elemen utama, bukan sekadar pelengkap dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kontribusi pendidikan karakter dalam Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap pengembangan moral siswa kelas 4 di SDN Lombang II. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan karakter di SDN Lombang II memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap penguatan moral dan etika siswa. Moral dan etika, yang keduanya berfokus pada kebaikan, menjadi aspek penting dalam pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Peran guru sebagai teladan, melalui sikap disiplin, ketepatan waktu, dan perilaku sehari-hari, sangat penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, kemandirian, dan integritas pada siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh media pembelajaran PRITA (Prisma Kata) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis peserta didik kelas 2 di SDN Karangduak I. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimental semu (quasi eksperimental), yang hanya melibatkan satu kelompok sebagai eksperimen tanpa ada kelompok pembanding atau kelompok kontrol. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model one group pre test – post test design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Karangduak I dengan subyek penelitian seluruh peserta didik kelas 2 yang terdiri dari 24 peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis non-parametrik wilcoxon matched pairs. Hasil dari pengolahan data setelah dilakukan latihan soal pre-test dan post-test pada peserta didik kelas 2 yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik nilai rata-rata (mean) pada pretest adalah 7,1 dan nilai rata-rata (mean) pada postest adalah 7,7. Hasil uji normalitas data menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,05. Hasil data uji beda non-parametrik Wilcoxon test nilai signifikasi yang didapat adalah 0,002 (< 0,05) yang artinya hipotesis diterima. Bedasarkan data diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran PRITA (Prisma Kata) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis peserta didik kelas 2 di SDN Karangduak 1. Penggunaan media prisma kata dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan interaktif sehingga dapat merangsang imajinasi dan kreativitas   mereka   dalam   menulis   cerita   pendek.

Abstract

The results of the needs analysis show that the learning process in schools has been carried out but has not been utilized optimally. This study aims to develop an assessment to measure science process skills and to determine the feasibility of developing an assessment. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is 4-D with 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were 30 grade 4 students. The data analysis technique used in this study is the percentage of product eligibility criteria, reliability, using reliability test criteria, differentiating power analysis, using differentiating criteria. The results of developing an assessment to measure science process skills in science subjects in elementary schools were obtained from the validation of 73.3% assessment experts, 89.28% material experts, and 89.28% linguists. The feasibility of the science assessment to measure students' science process skills is based on expert validators; the results meet the requirements and are based on the validity of valid and reliable test items that can be used to measure science process skills. The items are stated to be good and reliable so that they can be used to measure science process skills. Making science learning assessments to measure science process skills requires a team of experts, so the questions developed need more references to produce quality, creative and varied questions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media 3D Pop Up Book terhadap kemampuan membaca Cerita siswa kelas III SDN Gunggung I. Media ini memberikan pengalaman membaca yang interaktif dan menarik, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa. Dengan teknologi 3D, media ini membantu siswa memahami alur cerita, karakter, dan pesan moral dalam Cerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan strategi kuasi-eksperimental, di mana kontrol difokuskan pada satu variabel utama. Hasilnya, kelas eksperimen (SDN Gunggung I) yang menggunakan media 3D Pop Up Book memperoleh rata-rata nilai post-test 83,56, sedangkan kelas kontrol (SDN Daramista I) memperoleh rata-rata nilai 67,52. Dengan demikian, kemampuan membaca siswa kelas III SDN Gunggung I, khususnya dalam membaca Cerita, terpengaruh signifikan oleh penggunaan media 3D Pop Up Book.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) seringkali menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penggunaan media pembelajaran inovatif, seperti flashcard, telah diusulkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media flashcard terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 3 SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan flashcard dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar matematika sebelum dan setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan flashcard mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika dasar dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini mendukung teori pembelajaran visual dan konstruktivisme, yang menunjukkan bahwa media visual seperti flashcard dapat meningkatkan pengolahan informasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah penggunaan flashcard dapat diterapkan sebagai metode alternatif yang efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas 3 SD, dengan potensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai penggunaan teknologi flashcard digital dan penerapannya dalam konteks pembelajaran yang lebih kompleks

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of effectiveness of utilizing videos as Canva-based "Pejuang" learning media on the achievements of class II students of SDN Klompang Timur 2 who focus on addition and subtraction material. The type of approach method applied in this study applies a quasi-experimental method through a pre-test and post-test design, in order to spread the differences in learning outcomes before and after the application of learning videos. The results obtained from this study prove that the use of videos made with Canva is significantly able to optimize students' learning outcomes in mastering understanding of concepts in solving basic concepts of addition and subtraction. In addition, the use of this media also encourages increased student motivation and interest during the implementation of mathematics learning. This study makes a significant contribution to the world of education, because it shows that technology-based media can strengthen students' understanding of learning materials and become an innovative alternative for teachers in teaching mathematics in elementary schools. The implications of this research support the use of digital technology in education and provide a basis for developing curricula and educational policies that are more adaptive to technological developments.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of the fourth grade students of IV UPT SD Negeri 008 Langgini Sendayan for the academic year 2023/2024, which consists of 15 students. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two learning cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages of learning, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The time of the study was carried out in may 2024. Data collection techniques were in the form of documentation, observation and tests. The results of the critical thinking skills of fourth grade studentss of IV UPT SD Negeri 008 Langgini in pre-action with an average value of 52,27 with a learning completeness percentage of 27%. In cycle 1 meeting, 1 the average value 60,27 with a learning completeness percentage of 41% and in the first cycle of the second meeting, there was increase with an average value of 67,5 with a learning mastery percentage of 50%. In the second cycle of the first meeting, it also increased with an average value of 74,54 with a learning mastery percentage of 77%, and in cycle 2, the second meeting increased again with an average value of 81,59 with a learning completeness percentage of 86%. Thus, it can be concluded that by applying the Project Based Learning model, it can improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students at IV UPT SD Negeri 008 Langgini.

Abstract

Science education in elementary schools faces challenges in teaching complex and abstract materials, such as food chains, which require deep visual and conceptual understanding. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using web-based genetic media in improving students' understanding of food chain material in science learning in elementary schools. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: the experimental group using web-based Genially Media and the control group using conventional learning methods. Data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests measured by objective test instruments. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in understanding, with an average N-gain of 0.66, while the control group only obtained an N-gain of 0.29. The t-test confirmed that the difference between the experimental and control groups was significant (p = 0.000). These findings indicate that web-based genetic media improves students' understanding of food chain material. The implications of this study provide a basis for the application of web-based technology in science learning in elementary schools and encourage the development of more interesting and effective interactive learning methods. This study also suggests further research with stronger experimental designs and larger samples.

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes, especially geometry, at the elementary school level still show a low level of understanding due to a less contextual and abstract learning approach. This study examines the effect of using traditional snacks as a medium for ethnomathematics-based geometry learning on student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 30 fourth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a geometry learning outcome test composed of 20 questions that had been validated and tested for reliability. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with t-tests. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control student learning outcomes, with the experimental group obtaining a much higher average post-test score. These findings strengthen the theory of constructivism and support the ethnomathematics approach in elementary mathematics learning. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of integrating local culture in the development of learning media to increase student engagement and deepen their conceptual understanding of mathematics. This study also opens up opportunities for further exploration related to using other cultural elements in mathematics learning at various levels of education
