Abstract

This research examines the implementation of preventive preservation activities for the painting collection at the Indonesian National Gallery (GNI) as a form of preserving national cultural heritage. The importance of this study lies in the urgency of protecting national collection paintings from the threat of damage due to environmental, handling and institutional factors. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model of content analysis techniques and data triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The research results show that preventive preservation activities at GNI have been carried out through careful collection packaging, storage space control, and documentation of collection conditions, but are still not standardized as a whole. The main problems lie in limited microclimate control, uneven distribution of facilities, and the absence of SOPs and sustainable preventive financing. The conclusion of this research states that the implementation of preventive preservation at GNI is still partial. Institutional policies, special budgets, as well as improvements in infrastructure and human resource capacity are needed to create a systematic and sustainable preservation system. This research recommends the preparation of preservation policies that are integrated with institutional policies and technical practices in the field.

Abstract

The existence of online media in the 5.0 era as it is today is considered as one of the vital components. In the spreading of the flow accurate information, without knowing the limitations of distance and time. In this current digital era, the Public Relations strategy that implied in social media is very crucial. In function to shaping public awareness which related to certain issues. Online media can unwittingly become a space for advocacy practice in the public sphere, as well as Magdalene which focuses on women's advocacy efforts through its content as an alternative media. This study uses a qualitative approach, with constructivist paradigm, and a case study approach. This study shows the implied PR strategy which Magdalene uses in shaping public awareness of #MendobrakBias campaign in order to celebrated International Women's Day on March 8th 2022. One of the strategies implied from the way of Magdalene produce and published the issue, which never published on mainstream media, and the content publication through social media which are packaged in an attractive and contemporary ways, conducting online discussions with the community. Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly changed the communication mechanisms of public healthcare services, particularly in improving information accessibility and reducing gaps between service providers and users. The National Health Insurance (JKN) program in Indonesia faces challenges in disseminating information effectively to millions of participants, resulting in information asymmetry regarding participants’ rights, obligations, and healthcare procedures. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Mobile JKN application as an external communication channel and evaluate its contribution to reducing information asymmetry between BPJS Kesehatan and JKN participants. This research employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected from 290 active JKN participants who had used the Mobile JKN application for at least three months. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire measured using a five-point Likert scale, while data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that Mobile JKN had high effectiveness as an external communication medium with an overall score of 3.67. The highest dimension was information accessibility (4.12), indicating that the application successfully improved participants’ access to healthcare information. Furthermore, the application reduced information asymmetry by 33.9%, particularly in improving participants’ understanding of their rights. However, challenges remained, including low digital literacy (43.8%), technical application problems (33.8%), and limited internet access (29.7%). This study concludes that Mobile JKN plays an important role in strengthening digital communication and reducing information disparities in public healthcare services. Continuous system improvement, digital literacy enhancement, and broader socialization strategies are required to optimize its effectiveness.
