Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the needs of teachers and students in learning English with local content-based learning sources with augmented reality at the high school level in Riau Province. The research method was a survey with selected English teachers and students. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires online with a google form. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. To confirm the validity of the quantitative data, an in-depth virtual interview was conducted with Google Meet. The results of the study showed that English teachers and students responded positively to developing these teaching materials with a mobile application. Specifically, from teachers’ perspective, developing local content-based learning sources with augmented reality could be possible in the narrative learning. Further, students believed that the development of this source could help the learning attainment. In conclusion, developing local content-based learning sources with augmented reality should be conducted.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Style of Figurative Language in Fable Stories in Indonesian Language Textbooks for 7th Grade Middle School Published by the Ministry of Education and Culture". The purpose of this study is to provide information and knowledge about the language styles in the textbook. By using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The source of the data in this research is a collection of fable stories that are in the Indonesian language textbook for Class 7 Middle School. The data collection technique uses the documentation technique. In data acquisition, the researcher started by reading, marking, taking notes, and grouping. The results of the research conducted on "figurative language styles in fable stories in Indonesian language textbooks for 7th grade junior high schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture" contained 10 data which were divided into 7 language styles. The seven language styles are: 1 hyperbole language style, 1 personification style, 1 metominia style, 3 hypalase style, 1 antonymous language style, 2 sarcasm language style, and 1 satire language style.

Abstract

The research method used was that this research was carried out in Pekanbaru in 2020. Furthermore, this research method used a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of describing the writing style of news headlines in the headlines of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper which were found in the research as is. The term "descriptive" is one of the characteristics of qualitative research. Therefore, this research is also called qualitative research, whose characteristics appear in the description of the research data, data collection, data analysis, and presentation of the results of data analysis. The data collection technique in this study is the data collection technique is the main step in conducting this research, because the main purpose of this research is to obtain data. The techniques used to obtain data in this study are documentation techniques. agendas and so on. The data that the author obtained were 30 data from the Tribun Pekanbaru Newspaper. Hermeneutic techniques are techniques of reading, noting, and summarizing. The author does this technique with the aim of getting the data that is examined. Here, the author first reads the newspapers contained in the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper, then records the words included in the types of headlines in the editorial. Data taken as many as 30 data from the Pekanbaru Tribune Newspaper.

Abstract

Era abad 21 tidak sama dengan abad sebelumnya, utamanya perihal teknologi yang begitu mutakhir,oleh sebab teknologi mutakhir itu aneka macam informasi bisa dengan mudah dan cepat dapat jangkau yang tidak mengenal tempat dan waktu.Beragam keterampilan abad 21 diperlukan supaya tak ketinggalan oleh perkembangan pesat teknologi dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yakni mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Keterampilan Abad 21 Buku Teks Bahasa Indonesia Pada Kelas 11 Terbitan Kemdikbud. peneliti memakai pendekatan campuran antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif atau mixed methods serta memakai metode analisis isi/konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam buku Teks Bahasa Indonesia Pada Kelas 11 Terbitan Kemdikbud untuk siswa SMA/SMK Kelas XI. Buku Teks ini berjudul “Cerdas Cergas Berbahasa dan Bersastra Indonesia SMA/SMK Kelas XI” telah memuat keterampilan abad 21 yaitu keterampilan berpikir kreatif, berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, berkomunikasi, dan berkolaborasi, yang tersebar dalam setiap kegiatan pembelajaran. Jumlah keseluruhan muatan keterampilan abad 21 berjumlah sebanyak 148 muatan dengan keterampilan yang paling banyak yaitu keterampilan berkolaborasi dengan jumlah 53 muatan (35,8%).Hal ini bahwa buku teks menyediakan area yang besar untuk siswa dalam upaya pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kreatif, kritis dan inivatif, kolaboratif dan komunikatif. Keteramplan-keterampilan itu dicita-citakan akan menolong siswa dalam mengarungi masa depan

Abstract

Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) assesses fundamental skills required for all students to help them improve their skills and participate actively in society. The AKM aims to identify assessment data or reports on students' understanding of the material. The AKM is very important for teachers because it provides an objective measure of learning performance, and for students, the results of this assessment indicate their level of learning achievement. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the AKM reading literacy items at SMP IT Insan Utama Pekanbaru. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis. Based on the study's results, the percentage results of the difficulty level analysis of the guiding items were that 70% of the questions were categorized as difficult, 25% were moderate, and 5% were easy. It means that too many questions are difficult. The results of the calculation of differentiating power show that 40% of the questions are very good, 20% are good, 10% are sufficient, and 30% are bad. The analysis of the effectiveness of the checkers shows that 5% of the questions are very good, 15% good, 10% not good enough, 20% bad, 15% very bad.

Abstract

Asesmen kompetensi minimum (AKM) alat untuk menilai tingkat capaian membaca siswa di Indonesia dan membandingkannya melalui standar internasional. pendidik AKM penting sebab membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dalam membangun kerangka pembelajaran bahwa melihat dengan kenaikan daya berpikir kritis serta membaca murid. Ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia.Tujuan kemampuan membaca untuk siswa sekolah dasar secara umum adalah untuk menilai dan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa. Ini dilakukan dengan cara mengukur tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan memahami teks serta menilai kualitas pembelajaran yang diterima siswa. Tujuan ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi pengembangan keterampilan literasi membaca pada siswa dan membantu mereka mempersiapkan diri untuk menjadi pembelajar sepanjang hayat. Ini juga menjadi alat untuk memperkuat akses dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran dan membantu mereka menjadi warga yang aktif dan berkualitas dalam masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan mengadopsi studi kasus sebagai metodenya. Studi kasus dipilih sebab bertujuan untuk mengungkap kemampuan literasi siswa sekolah dasar dengan meneliti situasi dan kondisi di sekolah dasar 09 di Merangkai, Penelitian menghasilkan tiga level kognitif yaitu 25% mampu menemukan informasi ,25% mampu memahami dan sebesar 20 orang anak tidak mampu dalam mengevaluasi soal AKM literasi membaca,hal ini di buktikan dengan hasil mengerjakan soal AKM literasi membaca.penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan literasi membaca peserta diidk dan bisa dipakai dalam bahan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar-mengajar.

Abstract

Setiap orang harus memiliki kemampuan membaca dan harus dipelajari sejak dini. Meskipun setiap siswa mempuyai kemampuan membaca yang berbeda. AKM bisa dipakai dalam menilai kemampuan membaca mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menilai kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas V. Pada penelitian ini memilih kualitatif deskriptif dan lokasi penelitian di SDN 114 Pekanbaru. Adapun metode yang dipilih yaitu studi kasus di mana penelitian ini berfungsi mengungkapkan kemampuan AKM Literasi Membaca pada Siswa SD. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah 20 orang peserta didik kelas V SDN 114 yang mengikuti tes AKM Literasi Membaca. Dalam penyelesaian soal literasi AKM, peserta didik dapat menggunakan strategi yang efektif, yaitu dengan menyelesaikan terlebih dahulu soal yang mudah. Hasil penelitian membuktikan untuk kemampuan literasi membaca siswa dikategorikan berdasarkan presentase skor nilai benar dalam soal. Kategori tersebut dibagi menjadi empat, yaitu baik sekali, baik, cukup, dan kurang. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, terdapat 3 siswa dengan presentase 15% masuk dalam tingkat baik sekali, 13 siswa dengan presentase 65% masuk ke dalam tingkat cukup, dan 4 siswa dengan presentase 20% masuk ke dalam kategori kurang. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik dan bisa dipakai dalam bahan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar-mengajar.

Abstract

The reading literacy AKM tested at the State Vocational Schools of Ariculture calss X was previously not tested beforehand, so the eligibility of the items was not yet know so it was necessary to have the validity and reliability of each of these questions, how was the quality of the questions, whether the validity and reliability requirements had been fulfilled or not. Three is 1 instrument analyzed for the minimum competency assessment for reading literacy, which consists of 25 item. The data obtained Wet analyzed using the item validity test rechnique with person correlation and the cronch alpha reliability test was carried out. This study found the results that 1) item that had validity with good eligibility by 48% Wet declared valid and Three were as many as 52% declared invalid. the 2) the feasibility of the items seen from reliability is stated to have a very high level of reliability by obtaining a cronbach alpha value of 0.731.

Abstract

Letters are a means of conveying information or statements in writing to other parties, either on behalf of the person or because of the official or official representative of the sender, to discuss the problem at hand. Knowledge and understanding of letters are certainly very useful for the community. In particular, administrative staff whose job it is to serve students, lecturers, and the academic community related to administration and correspondence Therefore, the Community Service Team, in order to improve the competence of administrative staff, conducted formal letter-writing training activities for administrative staff of FKIP Riau Islamic University. Based on this, the purpose of this service is to provide an understanding regarding the writing of official letters according to the rules that apply to the administrative staff of the Faculty of Teaching and Education, Islamic University of Riau. The method used in this service is a classical and individual approach. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that administrative staff of FKIP Islamic University can write and apply official letters according to the applicable rules, and training in writing official letters for administrative staff of FKIP Islamic University of Riau can be categorized as successful and according to the target.
