Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen soal HOTS berbasis Google Form yang valid dan praktis sebagai alat ukur hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi hidrolisis garam. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan model Borg & Gall. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 5 orang validator yang terdiri dari 2 orang dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP ULM Banjarmasin, 1 orang ahli materi, dan 2 orang guru kimia di SMAN 2 Banjarmasin, serta peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 2 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 10 orang pada uji coba lapangan awal dan 36 orang pada uji coba lapangan utama. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi, angket uji keterbacaan peserta didik, dan instrumen soal tes. Hasil validasi dari validator menunjukkan bahwa instrumen soal yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan persentase sebesar 89,20%. Hasil analisis butir soal menunjukkan bahwa hasil validitas isi instrumen soal melebihi 0,40 (kategori valid) dengan reliabilitas 0,89 dan memiliki tingkat kesukaran sedang, serta daya beda soal diterima baik. Hasil analisis kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa instrumen soal yang dikembangkan sangat baik dengan persentase 90,50% pada uji coba lapangan awal dan 90,40% pada uji coba lapangan utama. Hasil ketuntasan belajar peserta didik pada uji coba lapangan awal menunjukkan bahwa 70% tuntas dan 30% belum tuntas. Sedangkan, hasil ketuntasan belajar peserta didik pada uji coba lapangan utama menunjukkan bahwa 69,44% tuntas dan 30,56% belum tuntas.

Abstract

The scaffolding strategy is designed to address difficulties in understanding materials. By using scaffolding, it is possible to improve chemical literacy and self-efficacy. The teaching of colloidal material has not represented abstract material adequately. Therefore, to enhance chemical literacy and self-efficacy, a student-centered learning model is needed, namely the problem-based learning (PBL) model. This study aims to determine the differences in chemical literacy and self-efficacy in the scaffolding strategy with the PBL model, the relationship between chemical literacy and self-efficacy, and student responses to the scaffolding strategy with the PBL model.The research method used was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Purposive sampling was employed for sample selection. The study used descriptive and inferential analysis, comparing dependent variables in the experimental class using the scaffolding strategy with the PBL model and the control class using the PBL model, with a sample of 73 students.The results indicate a significant difference in chemical literacy and self-efficacy between the scaffolding strategy with the PBL model and a positive response from students in terms of chemical literacy and self-efficacy after treatment. The Pearson correlation (rxy) between chemical literacy and self-efficacy was 0.674, indicating a strong correlation. The R2 value was 0.454, meaning that self-efficacy contributes 45.4% to chemical literacy. Students showed a positive response to the scaffolding strategy with the PBL model compared to without the scaffolding strategy. Therefore, the implementation of the scaffolding strategy with the PBL model can enhance chemical literacy and self-efficacy by providing students with assistance in understanding materials and problem-solving. The application of the scaffolding model in PBL activities should be modified using supportive media with characteristics similar to those in this study.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa untuk membantu mengelola pikiran untuk menemukan makna pembelajaran yang tepat. Model project based learning merupakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning pada materi koloid berkonteks lahan basah dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model konvensional, (2) respon siswa setelah menggunakan model project based learning pada materi koloid berkonteks lahan basah. penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Siswa kelas eksperimen XI MIPA 3 dan kelas kontrol XI MIPA 2 SMAN 3 Banjarmasin dijadikan sampel penelitian ini. Metode analisis deskriptif dan inferensial digunakan dalam mengolah data. Siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model project based learning, dimana harga N-gain sebesar 0,65 dalam kategori sedang, memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model konvensional, dimana Harga N-gain sebesar 0,37 dalam kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model project based learning berkonteks lahan basah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada peserta didik dan penyebab terjadinya miskonsepsi dalam mempelajari materi hidrolisis garam di SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2021/2022.  Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran bentuk strategi eksplanatoris sekuensial yang dilakukan dengan cara melakukan penelitian kuantitatif (instrumen tes diagnostik) terlebih dahulu lalu melakukan analisis, dan melengkapi hasilnya dengan analisis penelitian kualitatif (wawancara). Subyek penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian deskriptif dengan persentase dan pengkriteriaan miskonsepsinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 34,92% peserta didik mengalami miskonsepsi. Peserta didik mengalami miskonsepsi pada sub-konsep: (1) pengertian hidrolisis garam sebesar 33,33% dengan kategori sedang, (2) sifat-sifat larutan garam yang mengalami hidrolisis sebesar 37,03% dengan  kategori sedang, (3) jenis-jenis hidrolisis garam sebesar 24,44% dengan kategori rendah, (4) reaksi hidrolisis garam sebesar 32,40% dengan  kategori sedang, (5) pH garam yang terhidrolisis memiliki miskonsepsi tertinggi sebesar 38,89% dengan kategori sedang. Penyebab terjadinya miskonsepsi berasal dari peserta didik itu sendiri yaitu intuisi yang salah, pemikiran asosiatif peserta didik, reasoning yang tidak lengkap, dan kemampuan peserta didik yang kurang.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai pengembangan e-modul berbasis mikroskopis untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi larutan hidrolisis garam dan larutan penyangga di SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dari e-modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D dengan model 4D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin sebanyak 33 orang pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Data diperoleh melalui angket observasi awal, validasi, keterbacaan, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar observasi kompetensi guru menggunakan e-modul dan mengelola kelas serta tes hasil berpikir kreatif. Hasil analisis validitas dari validator menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan berkategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan e-modul yang diuji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar, dan uji coba terbatas menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Keefektifan pada uji coba terbatas menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan efektif dengan N-gain berkategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan e-modul praktikum biokimia layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pengembangan Electronic Chemistry Pocket Book (E-CPB) terintegrasi mind mapping pada materi koloid berbasis lahan basah bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas, praktikalitas dan efektifitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PPE yang terdiri dari (planning) (production), dan (evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 32 orang peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dari aspek kelayakan isi 94,54%, penyajian 87,27%, bahasa 86,81% dan media 93,75% dengan kategori masing-masing sangat valid. E-book yang telah memenuhi memenuhi aspek praktikalitas dilihat dari angket keterbacaan e-book pada uji perorangan memperoleh rata-rata 3,44 dan kelompok kecil memperoleh rata-rata 3,4 dengan kategori sangat baik. Angket respon guru dan peserta didik memperoleh skor masing-masing 3,4 dengan ketegori sangat baik. Lembar praktikalitas menggunakan e-book rata rata 3,42 hari pertama, 3,60 hari kedua, 3,67 hari ketiga kategori sangat baik serta lembar praktikalitas guru mengelola kelas rata-rata 3,31 hari pertama, 3,64 hari kedua, 3,71 hari ketiga dengan ketegori sangat baik. E-book juga telah memenuhi aspek efektifitas yang dilihat berdasarkan N-gain 0,86 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the percentage and causes of student misconceptions in electrochemistry using the Four-Tier diagnostic test instrument. The research was conducted using a quantitative-qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique was done through written tests with four-tier diagnostic test instruments and non-tests through interviews. The research subjects were students of the 2021 batch of Chemistry Education at FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University Banjarmasin. The results showed that 34% of students experienced misconceptions. Students experienced misconceptions in electrochemistry and electromotive power (DGL) sub-matter by 25.27%; the thermodynamic aspect of electrochemistry experienced the smallest misconception of 7.69%; DGL and temperature by 12.09%; connecting the Nernst equation with pH measurements by 17.58%; concentration cells by 14.29%; electrolysis by 12.64%; and corrosion sub-matter by 10.44%. Misconceptions occur in electrochemical materials because students think that salt bridges play a role in accelerating reactions. Students were confused about determining the relationship between DGL and temperature; and they were less careful in determining whether a chemical reaction is spontaneous or not. In addition, students were less careful in determining the actions of the gilding process.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the development of e-modules to improve student problem solving on ethnoscience integrated colloidal material using the problem based learning model. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the e-modules developed. This research is a research development research with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The subjects of this study were 5 validators and 33 students of grade XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Data collection using test and non-test instruments (questionnaires and observation sheets). Data analysis using descriptive techniques. The results of this study show that this e-module is very valid, very practical, and effective. The N-Gain value is 0.89 in high category, which is that this colloidal e-module is able to improve problem solving capabilities.

Abstract

The rapid development of education in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in various sectors of life in science and technology is a source of its own challenges for a teacher in the learning process, especially for preparing the teaching materials. This study aims to develop an E-Magazine that is valid, practical, and effective. This study applied Research and Development method with the ADDIE model. The subjects for this research are 32 students of SMAN 9 Banjarmasin in the academic year of 2021/2022. The trial implementation consisted of individual, small group, and limited trials. Data collection techniques were validation sheets, readability and response questionnaires, and test and non-test assessments while the data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the validity of the e-magazine with an average score of 4.6 categories was very valid in terms of content, presentation, language, and media aspects. The effectiveness which was seen based on N-gain for students' conceptual understanding was 0.67 (moderate) and learning motivation was 0.45 (moderate). This study shows that the use of e-magazines with SEL approach on colloid material in context of local wisdom is effective, and can be used in chemistry learning. Implications of SEL can help the growth of problem solvers, and collaborative academics is positively synergized with SEL and local wisdom (CASEL-LW) so that students can understand and solve the problems better.

Abstract

E-module development based on flip pdf professional is a systematically arranged instructional material. This research aimed to determine the impact of student learning outcomes when using the developed e-module. The research method used is R D with a 4-D development model: define, design, develop and disseminate. The developed e-module trial was conducted offline for students at SMAN 10 Banjarmasin. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistics. The data collection techniques were validation sheets, response questionnaires and test assessments. The results showed that the developed e-module was stated to be very valid regarding the content feasibility, presentation, language and media. The developed e-module also fulfills practical aspects, seen from student response questionnaires and teacher activity sheets which get very good categories. The e-module also fulfilled the effectiveness aspect based on the N-gain of student learning outcomes included average category. The success of e-module in improving learning outcomes can also be seen from the increased average value pre-test and post-test, from 43.75 to 83.75. The results of the research show that the developed e-module is feasible to use and also improves learning outcomes
