Abstract

− Gapoktan Cooperative is a community organization engaged in the economic sector as a cooperative business entity in Pematang Panjang village, East Seruyan Hilir sub-district, Seruyan district, central Kalimantan. Data processing at the Gapoktan collective in Pematang Panjang Village is still carried out using Ms. Excel and Ms. Word applications in recording member data, searching member data, loans, and member deposits. This is an obstacle for cooperative officers, resulting in the length of service to its members. So the need to build a desktop-based information system for saving and borrowing Gapoktan funds that can solve the problems faced by the Pematang Panjang village Gapoktan cooperative because recording and searching data can be done quickly. So that errors or mistakes that have occurred so far can be minimized. In making application programs using software (software) Borland Delphi 7 as a programming language and using Interbase software as a database.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of initial observations and field observations, such as: (1) the quality of SMK graduates is still low, especially with the current world problem, namely the COVID-19 pandemic. (2) there are still some educational quality standards that need to be improved and even improved their achievements. (3) many vocational high schools have implemented a school quality assurance system, but why is the quality of their graduates still low. The purpose of this study is to determine the assessment of school principals, teachers, school committees, and vocational students to photograph the efforts made by vocational quality assurance, especially in preparing the School Self Evaluation (SSE) as the main capital in the accreditation activities of the school concerned.The research method used is the descriptive quantitative research method. The research population is Vocational High School, while the sample is taking 4 Vocational High Schools that have implemented a Quality Assurance System, especially QMS ISO 9001:2008 or QMS ISO 9001:2015, such as several Vocational High Schools located in the Province of D.I. Yogyakarta and Central Java. Research data were collected based on the results of the distribution of questionnaires (instruments), interviews, observations, documentation studies, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The filler of the research instrument is the principals, teachers, school committees, and the concerned vocational students. The research data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively to see how far the level of achievement of the eight National Education Standards (NES) that had been set in the RPS.The results of this study are: (1) schools in implementing a school quality assurance system through their SSE have used four stages, consist of standard-setting, standard fulfillment, continuous evaluation, and quality improvement. (2) schools have taken correct and appropriate steps in achieving their vision and mission based on the formulated SPMI guidelines, (3) schools have implemented eight NESs starting from standards: graduates, content, process, educational assessment, educators and education personnel, educational facilities and infrastructure, education management, and financing standards properly. (4) each vocational high school has the same or different strategies and methods in achieving the school's vision and mission.

Abstract

This activity aims to: (1) introduce environmentally friendly mebele/wood finishing materials to the communities and (2) equip skill of environmentally friendly mebele/wood finishing application techniques to the communities. The  target  groups  of  this  activity  are  mebele  workers/business persons and  the  youths  in  Desa  Pathuk,  Kecamatan Pathuk,  Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, D.I. Yogyakarta. The total participants are 28 persons, 12 workers and 16 local village youths. The activity methods are: (1) lecture and  discussion, (2) question and  answer,  (3) finishing  practice,  and  (4) evaluation of the activity products. Various materials applied in the training are Ultran Aqua Politur, Aqua Lacquer Impra, Aqua  Wood Finish, and IAWF. The equipments for finishing application include various number polish papers, portable polisher, finishing material tin container, spray gun, and compressor. The products of activity are: (1) the environmentally friendly finishing  materials,  generally using  water as  a solvent  material.  (2) the procedure of environmentally friendly based finishing technique appli- cation: (a) wood surface preparation using polisher number 180, (b) rubbing wood filler evenly to the wood surface, (c) polishing by the number 240, (d) wood  stain  application  by  brushing  or  spraying,  (e)  sending  sealer application using water as solvent  material,  and  (e) final layering using alternatives of selected clear gloss/clear dove/semi gloss materials. The fifth and sixth steps, the maximum water solvent material addition of 20% for spraying application, and the maximum water addition of 10% for brushing application

Abstract

The  voucher  program   entitled  "Manufacturing    Ginger  Squeezer  Machine  for Small  Powder   Ginger-Coffee    Industries"   aims  to  increase   productivity   of  the  UD. ROSE  KURNIA   especially   in  squeezing  basic  material  of ginger  as a substance  for Powder  Ginger-Coffee   and  Coconut   Sugar  Ginger  being  produced.   It also  wants  to know the suitable  size and productivity  of such ginger squeezer  machine.,         The   steps   of  this   manufacturing    ginger   squeezer    machine    are   planning, machine  manufacturing,   and training  for industry  partner  workers.  The  planning  step includes:  (1) designing  machine  plan  draft,  (2) calculating   the needed  materials,  and (3)  calculating   the  implementation    cost.  The  machine-manufacturing     step  includes: (1)  material   cutting  to  fit  the  work  draft,  (2)  welding,   (3)  assembling,   (4)  electric installation.   (5) machine  performance   test,  and (6) painting.  The training  for industry partner  workers   consists   of:  (1)  theory   and  speech  delivery,   (2)  demonstration    of machine using, and (3) machine  using practice  by the industry  partner  workers.The result  of the  voucher  program  is realization  of a squeezer  ginger  machine and skill  achievement   by the  industry  partner  workers  in the  machine  operation.  The squeezer  ginger  machine   was  made  of right-angled   iron  frame  sizing  50x50x5  mm, combined   with  plywood   of  3 mm  and  12 mm  thick.  The  machine   size  is  120 em length,  60 em width,  and  190 em height,  moved  by a gasoline  motor  power  HONDA of 4 HP  and rotation  speed  of  1400 RP;-'1, The  crushing  system  runs  by 2 cylindrical tubes   with   20   em   diameter    rotating    in   the   opposite    direction.    The   machine performance   and productivity   for  squeezing   ginger  has  speed  of  4 to  5 times  faster compared  with manual  squeezing  system having  been done up   till now.Key words:  ginger   squeezer  machine,  and small  powder   ginger-coffee   industry.

Abstract

A voucher program of manufacturing a static hole-making  wood- .chiseling machine for small-scale industrial companies producing wooden furniture was conducted with the objective of increasing the productivity of the wooden furniture production company of Indah Jaya in especially mak­ ing holes for joint construction in the furniture produced. Another objective was to determine the capacity and productivity of the machine itself.The program was conducted through the stages of planning the ma­ chine, manufacturing it, and training company workers in operating it. The planning stage covered the steps of drafting a design of the machine, calcu­ lating the materials for its manufacture, and estimating the cost of the manu­ facture. The manufacturing stage covered the steps of cutting the materials according to the design in the draft, welding some parts together, assem­ bling all the components into a unit, installing electrical appliances in it, testing its performance in operation, and painting it. The training stage co­ vered the steps of delivering a lecture on its theoretical aspects, demonstrat­ ing its operation, and giving company workers practice in operating it.The program has resulted in the actualization of a static hole-makingwood-chiseling machine and in company workers'  acquisition of skills in operating it. With a round iron frame 10 em in diameter combined with a wooden frame 6 cm by 12 ern in size, making it 120 ern by 100 em by 50 em in its dimensions, and powered by an SEM electrical motor generator of12HP and rotation speed of 2800 RPM, in its performance and productivity at making holes of the same form and size in wood the machine has been five to eight times faster than manual tools.Keywords: hole-making  machine, small-scale woodfurniture  industry

Abstract

Kegiatan PPM ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memperkenalkan bahan finishing kerajinan batik kayu yang ramah lingkungan kepada masyarakat dan (2) memberikan bekal keterampilan kepada masyarakat tentang teknik aplikasi finishing kerajinan batik kayu yang ramah lingkungan.Khalayak sasaran dalam kegiatan PPM ini yaitu para perajin/pengusaha  batik kayu Dusun Krebet, Kecamatan Pajangan, Kabupaten Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta. Jumlah peserta pelatihan sebanyak 28 orang yang terbagi menjadi pengkrajin sebanyak 12 orang dan pemuda desa setempat sebanyak 16 orang. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari: (1) ceramah dan diskusi, (2) tanya jawab, (3) praktek finishing, dan (4) evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Berbagai bahan yang diaplikasikan dalam pelatihan yaitu Ultran Aqua Politur,  Aqua Lacquer Impra, Aqua Wood Finish, dan IAWF. Sedangkan peralatan untuk aplikasi finishing meliputi kertas amplas berbagai nomor, amplas portable,  kaleng tempat bahan finishing, spry gun, dan kompresor.Hasil kegiatan PPM yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) bahan finishing yang ramah lingkungan secara umum mempunyai ciri menggunakan bahan pengencer air. (2) Prosedur aplikasi teknik finishing berbasis ramah lingkungan yaitu: (a) persiapan permukaan kayu dengan menggunakan amplas no. 180, (b) pengolesan wood filler secara merata ke permukaan kayu, (c) pengamplasan dengan nomor 240, (d) aplikasi wood stain dengan cara dikuas atau disemprot, (e) aplikasi sending sealer dengan bahan pengencer air, dan (e) pelapisan akhir dengan alternatif bahan pilihan clear gloss/clear dof/semi gloss. Langkah kelima dan keenam bila aplikasinya  dengan cara disemprot penambahan bahan pengencer yang berupa air maksimum 20%,  akan tetapi  bila aplikasinya diku-askan penambahan airnya maksimum 10%
