Abstract

The study, entitled "self regulated Learning On high school students in terms of Perception Toward Parenting parents" aims to find out students ' perceptions towards parenting adopted by parents in the family and to know the differences in self-regulated learning high school students in terms of perceptions of parenting parents. This research using quantitative methods. The population of the research was 100 students of Class XI of SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli  with a sample of 80 research students who obtained through the technique of sampling simple random sampling. The measurement tool used in this research is the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) to measure the parenting and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaaire (MSLQ) to measure self regulated learning. The results showed that students with authoritarian parenting perceptions of 32.5%, students with permissive parenting perceptions by 10% and the students democratic parenting perceptions of 48.75%. Further data were analyzed using Chi Square statistical techniques. From the results of the analysis of research data, retrieved the value of the Chi Square calculating of 4,810 with significance level 0.05 and df = (2-1) (6-1) = 5 retrieved the value of the chi square table of 10. Then 10 then the differences 4,810 don't significantly, meaning that Ho and Ha accepted rejected. From these results it can be concluded that there is no self regulation perbedan in the study of perception toward parenting parents.Keyword: self regulated learning, parenting, senior high school studentsABSTRAKPenelitian berjudul “Regulasi Diri dalam Belajar Pada Siswa SMA Ditinjau Dari Persepsi Terhadap Pola Asuh Orang Tua” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua di dalam keluarga dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan regulasi diri dalam belajar siswa SMA ditinjau dari persepsi pola asuh orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah 100 siswa kelas XI SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) untuk mengukur pola asuh dan Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaaire (MSLQ) untuk mengukur regulasi diri dalam belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan persepsi pola asuh otoriter sebesar 32.5%, siswa dengan persepsi pola asuh permisif sebesar 10% dan siswa dengan persepsi pola asuh demokratis sebesar 48.75%. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik Chi Square. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian, diperoleh nilai Chi Square hitung sebesar 4.810 dengan level significance 0.05 dan df =(2-1)(6-1) = 5 diperoleh nilai chi square tabel sebesar 11.07. Maka 4.810 11.07 maka perbedaan tidak signifikan, artinya  Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedan regulasi diri dalam belajar ditinjau dari persepsi terhadap pola asuh orang tua.Kata kunci : regulasi diri dalam belajar, pola asuh, siswa SMA

Abstract

Media is one of the most important components in the learning process. Without the use of media, teaching and learning activities will be difficult to do optimally. This study aims to find out the instructional media used guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of specialization services. This research includes descriptive research type using qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the guidance and counseling Teachers from SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, SMA Negeri 3 Banda Aceh, and SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique is done with three steps, namely data reduction, data display and verification.The results showed that the learning media used by guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of specialization services, namely (1) Audio media, namely radio tape and cassette recording; (2) Projection visual media that includes projectors and slides; (3) Non-projected visual media in the form of whiteboards and wall magazines; (4) Print media, ie brochures, modules, magazines, and reference books; (5) Graphics media in the form of diagrams and career trees; and (6) Audio-visual media that includes movies/videos and laptops. The conclusion of this research is guidance and counseling teacher using audio media, visual projection media, non-projection visual media, print media, and audio visual media in specialization service process.

Abstract

Abstract: Self-acceptance is the ability of individuals to be able to have a positive view of themselves and be willing to live with all the characteristics that exist in themselves without feeling uncomfortable with themselves. Without an individual's self-acceptance it would be difficult to accept a good state of self that relates to weaknesses and strengths. This study aims to describe the self-acceptance of Budi Luhur orphanage children and the factors that influence it. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the subject of the research are orphanage children who still have parents. The results showed that children lacked self-acceptance or lacked understanding, were unable to regulate emotions, and were unable to interact harmoniously with the environment. While the factors that influence it are not being able to understand the condition of themselves, feeling uncomfortable, family problems and being negative about the future. It is expected that the orphanage will improve facilities for self-development, so that foster children feel happy living in the orphanage. Furthermore, to always supervise foster children, provide good guidance, and give more attention to children, so that they can understand their true self. To parents to be able to work with caregivers to be able to convince their children, parents leave their children to orphanages not because they are not loved anymore.Keywords: Self-Acceptance, Influencing Factors, orphanage children Abstrak: Penerimaan diri adalah kemampuan individu untuk dapat memiliki pandangan positif mengenai diri sendiri dan bersedia untuk hidup dengan segala karakteristik yang ada pada diri tanpa merasa ketidaknyamanan terhadap diri sendiri. Tanpa adanya penerimaan diri individu akan sulit untuk menerima keadaan diri baik yang berhubungan dengan kelemahan maupun kelebihannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penerimaan diri anak panti asuhan Budi Luhur dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu anak-anak panti asuhan yang masih memiliki orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak kurang memiliki penerimaan diri atau kurang memahami dirinya, kurang dapat mengatur emosi, dan kurang dapat berinteraksi secara harmonis dengan lingkungan. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah tidak bisa memahami kondisi diri, merasa tidak nyaman, permasalahan keluarga dan bersikap negatif terhadap masa depan. Diharapkan kepada pihak panti asuhan untuk meningkatkan fasilitas untuk pengembangan diri, sehingga anak-anak asuh merasa senang tinggal di panti. Selanjutnya agar selalu mengawasi anak-anak asuh, memberikan pembinaan yang baik, serta memberikan perhatian yang lebih kepada anak-anak, agar mereka dapat memahami keadaan diri yang sebenarnya. Kepada orangtua agar dapat bekerja sama dengan pengasuh untuk dapat meyakinkan anak-anak bahwasannya, orangtua menitipkan anak ke panti asuhan bukan karena tidak disayang lagi.Kata Kunci: Penerimaan Diri, Faktor yang mempengaruhi, Anak panti asuhan

Abstract

Persentase ketidakhadiran siswa pada MAN 4 Kabupaten Aceh Besar hampir setiap bulan meningkat, meskipun berbagai kegiatan telah dilakukan oleh guru BK dalam upaya mengatasinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran ketidakhadiran siswa di sekolah, faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan ketidakhadiran siswa dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar di sekolah, serta upaya guru BK dalam mengatasi penyebab ketidakhadiran siswa di sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan mixed methods yaitu menggabungkan dua pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian pada MAN 4 Aceh Besar dengan jumlah sampel 40 siswa dan 2 guru BK. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket,  wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data yaitu dengan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam bentuk persentase dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran ketidakhadiran siswa di sekolah MAN 4 Kabupaten Aceh Besar berada pada kategori rendah sebanyak 6 siswa dengan persentase 15%, kategori sedang sebanyak 28 siswa dengan persentase 70%, serta kategori tinggi sebanyak 6 siswa dengan persentase 15%. di samping itu dari analisis angket yang telah di bagikan kepada siswa faktor-faktor penyebab ketidakhadiran siswa di sekolah diantara lain adalah berasal dari faktor lingkungan keluarga 45% jarang mengawasi anak untuk datang ke sekolah, dan faktor dari dalam diri siswa 40% malas datang ke sekolah, dan hampir sebagian 42,5% membantu pekerjaan di rumah seperti berjualan, dan membantu mengelola pertanian di sawah. hasil wawancara dengan siswa terdapat tidak mengerjakan PR, susah bangun pagi. Upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh guru BK untuk mengatasi ketidakhadiran siswa di sekolah adalah dengan cara memanggil siswa yang bersangkutan, melakukan konseling individual, dan langsung mengadakan home visit ke rumah siswa. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kerja sama antara orang tua siswa dan guru di sekolah.Kata Kunci : Ketidakhadiran, Faktor-Faktor, dan Upaya Guru BK

Abstract

This research entitled "Coping Strategy (Problem Focused Coping and Emotion Focused Coping) in Facing Stress on Student Composer of FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala". The purpose of this study is to determine the level of stress and coping strategies used by students in dealing with stress when preparing the thesis. This research uses quantitative approach implemented in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) with sampling using accindental sampling technique. Sample research used is the students who are preparing a thesis as many as 100 people who meet the requirements and criteria specified by researchers. Data collection using questionnaires namely the stress level questionnaire and also questionnaire coping strategies are processed with descriptive statistical analysis. After doing the data processing, the first questionnaire obtained the description of stress level of students who made the thesis is 72% are in the medium category, 19% are in the high category and 9% are in the low category. Furthermore, in the second questionnaire to find coping strategies used by students in dealing with stress, it was found that most students in facing stress using problem focused coping strategy that is as much as 56% and 44% using coping emotion focused coping strategy. The conclusion in this research shows that most of the students who make the thesis experience stress in the medium category and face the stress by using different coping strategies. Based on these results, the researcher suggested to the students to use effective coping strategies such as raising awareness of the problem, pengelohan information and behavior change in facing stress when preparing the thesis.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the background of the life of women until the marital process, the factors causing wives to sue their husband for divorce, and the overview of women’s life who sued their husband for divorce. The research uses descriptive qualitative method and for collecting data were doing interviews. The subjects of this research were ten people. The results showed that most of their propensities to divorce were because: (1) the husband did severe persecution that was harmful to the wife; (2) the husband left the wife for 2 (two) consecutive years without wife's permission and without any legitimate  reason; (3) the occurrence of dispute and the quarrel between the husband and wife as well as there was no hope of living in harmony anymore in the household; (4) the husband committed adultery (cheating). Based on the results from the study, divorced women feel free from her husband's bad behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process and counseling services performed by guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in coaching the students’ character, with the method descriptive qualitative approach. Guidance and counseling are services of assistance given to students to develop their potential, alleviate the problems, and shape the character of the students in accordance with the norms that exist in the neighborhood. The character building of students can be done through guidance and counseling services that are prevention, alleviation and development. The results showed that the process of guidance and counseling was done not in accordance with established procedures and the implementation of observation and data identification to understand the needs within the framework of the preparation of BK program. Besides, the prevention activities were carried out by providing knowledge about the character of the students through information services, content mastery and group counseling as well as involving students in religious activities at school.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the performance description of guidance and counseling teachers at high schools in Aceh Besar and what factors influence the performance of guidance and counseling teachers at high schools. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a population and research sample of 27 counseling teachers spread across 19 schools. Techniques for data collection using a scale 4 questionnaire and data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that (1) the performance description of Guidance and Counseling Teachers at SMA is in the moderate category (Less Professional) with a frequency of 19 people (70%). (2) the results of the analysis of the factors that affect the performance of guidance and counseling teachers are divided into two, namely (a) Internal factors with high gains and a frequency of 21 people (78%) this is caused by the health condition of the Counseling Teachers, (b) External factors are in the high category and the frequency is 20 people (74%) this is due to the principal's leadership style. Based on the results of this analysis, the good or bad performance of the counseling teacher is greatly influenced by the health condition of the counseling teacher and the leadership style of the school principal.

Abstract

Mother's stress in accompanying children to study is a condition of pressure/tension experienced by mothers in carrying out their responsibilities as working mothers and mothers who do not work in accompanying children to study. This study aims to describe the stress profile of working and non-working mothers in accompanying children to study at SDN 22 Banda Aceh. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. There were 12 research subjects consisting of 6 working mothers and 6 non-working mothers. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the physical stress experienced by working mothers had more complaints than mothers who did not work in accompanying children to study, namely experiencing dizziness or headaches, fatigue in accompanying children to study, and disrupted mother's sleeping hours. Cognitive stress of non-working mothers has more complaints than working mothers in assisting children, such as disturbed concentration, difficulty balancing concentration, difficulty managing time, and lack of understanding of children's learning material. Emotional stress experienced by working mothers and non-working mothers shows the same results, namely feeling pressured when accompanying children, anger when children are difficult to teach, feelings of guilt, and despair. Meanwhile, the stress of social behavior of non-working mothers shows more complaints than working mothers, including acts of despair committed, lack of husband or family support, acts of violence when children are difficult to teach, and punishing children. The conclusion of this study is that non-working mothers experience more stress complaints than working mothers.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic has had catastrophic health and economic impacts worldwide. As of 20 September 2020, Indonesia ranked the third highest of fatalities due to COVID-19 infection in Asia and the second highest of confirmed cases in Southeast Asia.  Aceh, a province in the westernmost of the country, has also been impacted by the virus infections.This study aims to investigate the current Central and Aceh provincial government-led responses to COVID-19 pandemic from January to May 2020. It utilises existing regulations, official reports and relevant websites in order to assess and analyse the responses. The findings identify delayed early responses taken by Central and Aceh governments to stop and prevent the virus transmission; the absence of lockdown implementation (border restrictions at entry points such as borderland areas, seaports and airports); premature introduction of the new normal era; the absence of checkpoints and village alert teams throughout 23 districts; and inadequate enforcement of the established regulations to halt the spread of the virus in the province.Various recommendations are provided to enhance the current responses to COVID-19 in the province in order to reduce the pandemic risk to the community going forward, and strengthen the pandemic preparedness and response system.
