Abstract

Teachers’ performance will improve with the support of the school, compatibility between teacher as an individual with the values, goals, and characteristics of the organization. Teachers’ behavior will also contributes positively to improving performance.This study was aimed to determine the effect of perceived organizational support, person-organization fit, and organizational citizenship behavior on the performance of Kairos Gracia School teachers in West Jakarta. This research used quantitative approach and PLS-SEM method for data analysis. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and analyzed descriptively and inferentially by conducting validity, reliability, and path analysis tests by using SmartPLS 3.2.9. software. The results showed that perceived organizational support did not have a direct positive influence on teachers performance, while person-organization fit and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive effect on performance. Perceived organization support would be positively influenced teachers’ performance when mediated by organizational citizenship behavior. Kinerja guru akan meningkat dengan adanya dukungan dari pihak sekolah, kecocokan antara guru sebagai individu dengan nilai, tujuan, dan karakteristik organisasi Perilaku guru juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dukungan organisasi, person-organization fit, dan organizational citizenship behavior terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah KARIOS GRACIA di Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini. bersifat kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial untuk uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan analisis jalur dengan metode PLS-SEM melalui program SmartPLS 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi secara langsung tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. sedangkan person-organization fit dan organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja. Persepsi dukungan organisasi akan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru melalui variabel laten organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan penelitian tindakan sekolah (PTS) merupakan salah satu upaya continuous improvement dalam pendidikan. Para pendidik harus memiliki semangat untuk terus memperbaiki kualitas pengajarannya guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang efektif dan maksimal. Sayangnya para guru di BPK Penabur Bogor masih kurang memahami pentingnya melaksanakan PTK dan PTS, serta pengetahuan teori dan prosedur pelaksaannya sehingga belum dapat menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari webinar ini adalah untuk membantu para guru dalam memahami metode pelaksanaan PTK dan PTS guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Webinar dilaksanakan secara virtual yang dihadiri oleh 2 pembicara dan 38 guru BPK Penabur Bogor. Data hasil webinar diperoleh melalui pre-test dan post-test serta angket kebermanfaatan webinar. Hasil perolehan nilai pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemhaman guru mengenai PTK dan PTS setelah mengikuti webinar. Berdasarkan perolehan angket, para guru mengakui bahwa webinar PTK dan PTS ini relevan dan bermanfaat bagi profesi mereka sebagai guru.

Abstract

Traditional learning, where a teacher teaches in a classroom and the students only listen, has several weaknesses. Some of the weaknesses are students have the tendency to be passive and less critical in the process of teaching and learning. The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of applying the problem based learning to students’ critical thinking and metacognitive. This research was conducted using quantitative approach and experiment method. The subjects of this research were 28 grade XII students at High School "XYZ" Makassar. The results of this study show that the problem based learning method is able to increase students’ critical thinking and metacognitive abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of transformational and transactional leadership on employee performance in the HVAC industry in Tangerang mediated by readiness for change. The data was collected by using simple random sampling technique and the results of the questionnaire that returned and were valid as many as 224 samples. Data processing using SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee performance and readiness to change. In contrast to transactional leadership which does not have a significant effect on both performance and readiness to change. This study also concludes that readiness to change has a positive and significant effect on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. This new research proposes a model for building employee performance among employees of the HVAC industry in Tangerang through enhancing transformational leadership practices with readiness to change as a mediator. This research can pave the way to improve employee readiness in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0 era.

Abstract

Berbagai perubahan akibat dampak dari revolusi industry 4.0 tidak dapat dihindari, termasuk dalam sector pendidikan. Oleh sebab itu, para pemimpin di Lembaga Pendidikan perlu terus melakukan penyesuaian agar dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Salah satu perubahan yang dimaksud adalah perubahan pada model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting karena bersinggungan langung dengan proses belajar kelas dan berpengaruh pada ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, seminar model pembelajaran inovatif di era 4.0 diberikan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai metode-metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dan dapat diterapkan, diantaranya adalah blended learning, flipped classroom dan Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge (TPACK). Peserta dalam seminar ini adalah para pengawas Sekolah Dasar Kabupaten Ciruas, Banten sebanyak 86 orang. Setelah mengikuti seminar, para peserta diminta mengisi angket kebermanfaatan seminar. Hasil dari angket menunjukkan bahwa seminar yang diberikan sangat relevan dan memberikan manfaat bagi profesi peserta seminar saat ini.Kata kunci: blended learning; flipped classroom; technological; pedagogical; content knowledge (TPACK); revolusi industry 4.0 Innovative Learning Models in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 for Elementary School Supervisors in Ciruas Regency, BantenABSTRACTVarious changes due to the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 can not be avoided, including in the education sector. Therefore, leaders in Educational Institutions need to continue to make adjustments in order to keep abreast of the times. One of the changes in question is a change in the learning model. The learning model becomes very important because it is directly related to the class learning process and affects the achievement of learning objectives. Therefore, a seminar on innovative learning models in the 4.0 era was given to provide an understanding of appropriate and applicable learning methods, including blended learning, flipped classroom and Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge (TPACK). The participants in this seminar were the supervisors of 86 elementary schools in Ciruas, Banten. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada generasi milenial Kementerian Perdagangan dengan jumlah responden 162 pegawai dengan menggunakan metode non-random sampling dan analisis statistik dengan Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai generasi milenial Kementerian Perdagangan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi organisasi untuk dapat mengelola gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan lingkungan kerja yang lebih baik agar memberikan kepuasan kerja yang lebih besar bagi pegawai khususnya generasi milenial sehingga kinerja pegawai dapat meningkat dan tujuan organisasi tercapai.

Abstract

This study describes a proposed alternative method to qualitatively study global phenomena which create challenges to access informants due to either geographical or time availability constraints. A mix between the capturing and usage of secondary data obtained from the abundance of social media data, an established hermeneutic phenomenology method and triangulation with conventional method is proposed. A sample case on studying leadership in sustainable investing is featured to demonstrate the application of the method. Reasons for decision to invest through the SI strategy emerge from leaders’ insight obtained from the hermeneutic circles and were supported by direct interviews. There are four reasons for decision i.e., (1) climate change, (2) stakeholders’ demand alignment, (3) risk – performance consideration, and (4) value alignment. While other characteristics of transformation leadership is intellectual stimulation represents major finding from the data. The abundance of insights on the internet, along with established qualitative research methods, computer software, as well as accessible primary source represent opportunities to replicate the example to cover other topics.

Abstract

One crucial factor in determining the successes of learning in schools is the teachers’ performances. Teacher’s performance not only determines the learning successes but also the achievements of the organizational goals. This study aims to determine the effects of the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture on the teachers’ performance in the XYZ School. The number of subjects in this study was 82 teachers who taught at the XYZ, both the Primary and Secondary levels. A quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM method, in which the Smart PLS application was implemented to process the data, was used in this study. For the data collection, a survey technique using a questionnaire was selected as a research instrument. The results of the data analysis have shown that the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture have positive effects on performance.

Abstract

Employees who work voluntary more than they assigned are positive things that can advance their organization. The willingness of employees to work voluntarily beyond their duties is called organizational citizenship behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of school climate, organizational justice, and organizational commitment to organizational citizenship behavior in XYZ School Jakarta. With 43 respondents, the data obtained through the questionnaire were analyzed using the PLS SEM method. The results of this study showed that school climate, organizational justice and organizational commitment have a positive effect on organizational citizenship behaviour. Abstract

Student learning achievement in the form of cognitive abilities such as grades are one of the references to learning success. In addition, affective learning outcomes such as cooperation and activeness are also important aspects that need to be considered by teachers. This study aimed to analyze the application of problem-based learning in improving learning achievement, activeness, and cooperation in physics subjects. There have been many previous studies that have applied problem-based learning for the development of physics subject modules. In addition, there are several previous studies examining the application of PBM for physics lessons coupled with other additional learning strategies, however, not many have researched PBM only with the classroom action research. This research employed classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects consisted of 16 class X students aged around 15-17 years. The research instrument used tests, interview sheets, and observation sheets. The results of this classroom action research conclude that the application of Problem Based Learning has succeeded in increasing student achievement, activeness and cooperation in physics subjects with the topic of electrical circuits. Therefore, this study provides direct benefits for physics teaching teachers to become a reference for learning methods in order to improve learning and is useful for students in improving their learning outcomes.
