Abstract

This research investigates enhancing students' mathematical problem-solving skills through the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach, utilizing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model focused on social arithmetic. The study involved 31 seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tarakan during the 2023/2024 academic year and followed the Kemmis & Taggart PTK model, comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection across two cycles. Implementation success criteria were defined as 75% of students scoring ≥ 74. In the first cycle, there was a slight decrease (3%) in students achieving this score; however, the second cycle showed a 12% improvement. Ultimately, 97% of students scored ≥ 74, averaging 91.78. These findings indicate that integrating the TaRL approach with the PBL model effectively enhances the mathematical problem-solving skills of junior high school students in social arithmetic

Abstract

This research aims: 1) To identify whether there is an increase in reading literacy through indigenousization-based scrapbook media for class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat, 2) To describe the level of implementation of indigenousization-based scrapbook media for increasing reading literacy for class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat, 3) To describe the level of student response to indigenousization-based scrapbook media to increase the reading literacy of class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat. This type of research is quantitative research using the Pre Experimental Design method. The population in this study was all class V of SDN 26 West Singkawang. The sample uses Saturated Sampling. Data collection techniques used student reading literacy essay tests, media implementation observations and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses N-Gain, percentage of implementation observations and percentage of student response questionnaires. The research results show 1) There is an increase in students' reading literacy after implementing indigenous-based scrapbook media with an average score of 0.67 with medium criteria, an N-Gain Score percentage of 67% with the interpretation of effectiveness being quite effective. 2) The level of implementation of indigenousization-based scrapbook media was carried out well as seen from the percentage at the first meeting of 98.61% with very good criteria and the percentage at the second meeting was 97.22% with very good criteria. 3) There is a positive response to indigenous-based scrapbook media to increase students' reading literacy. With a student response percentage of 83% with very good criteria. Based on the results of research data calculations, it can be concluded that indigenous-based scrapbook media has increased the reading literacy of class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah Akuntabilitas Dana Desa pada desa Girikerto, kecamatan Turi, Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui bagaimana akuntabilitas Dana Desa . 2) Mengetahui tahapan pengelolaan Dana Desa di Desa Girikerto Turi Sleman di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber untuk menggali informasi sehingga diperoleh penelitian yang objektif mengenai dana desa, hal ini dilakukan mengingat wawancara mendalam merupakan strategi penelitian yang tepat untuk mengetahui secara mendetail baik dari pihak pemerintah desa dan perangkat desa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa 1) Pemerintah desa sudah menerapkan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana desa di Desa Girikerto, Turi Sleman Yogyakarta. 2). Pengelolaan Dana Desa menerapkan tahapan Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan dan Pertanggungjawaban Dana Desa secara teknis maupun administrasi sudah cukup baik, namun dalam hal pertanggung jawaban administrasi terkendala dengan keterlambatan laporan dari pedukuhan tetapi bisa diatasi dengan baik

Abstract

The process of administering East Salo Village administration, including general administration, population administration, development administration. The problem faced by partners, namely conveying information about Village potential, population, Village activity agenda, Village Budget carried out by Village officials to the local community, is by conveying socialization directly at the East Salo Village office or making banners outside the Village office regarding the Village Expenditure Budget ( APBDes). The obstacles faced by the community if they want to get information quickly, are often hampered by the working hours of village officials and during the socialization carried out by East Salo Village officials, not all people attend the socialization activities. Coupled with the lack of understanding of village officials regarding information technology, this means that services to the community are not optimal. The solution offered is by creating an information system based on the East Salo Village website and providing training to East Salo Village officials on the use of the information system created.

Abstract

The understanding of Jesus Christ in the Bible is very diverse and is reflected in the various titles given to Him. Each title used by the biblical authors indicates a certain aspect of Jesus' identity and mission according to their historical and theological context. This research is a qualitative research using the literature study method. This research was conducted to analyze the Diversity of Christological Experiences in the Bible.

Abstract

Abstract: With the growth of technology and the development of globalization, the education sector is facing detrimental effects on students. As a result, students are less interested in reading books and are shifting to devices that offer various games. They tend to spend a lot of time interacting with digital media, such as social media, leading to a low interest in reading among students in schools, including at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang. This initiative employs qualitative data with a descriptive qualitative approach. This initiative was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang by creating a reading corner to encourage students' interest in reading and develop their literacy skills. The reading corner is a special area in places like libraries, classrooms, or other rooms, and we utilized it by collaborating or combining the library with the reading corner designed to provide a comfortable atmosphere for reading activities. The reading corner has a positive impact on students' reading interest at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang before and after its establishment. With the reading corner, students are motivated to learn. The reading corner plays an important role in helping learners engage in enjoyable reading activities. It can serve as an effective tool to incorporate reading experiences into daily learning processes. Keywords: literacy, pojok baca, reading interest.  Abstrak: Dengan pertumbuhan teknologi dan perkembangan globalisasi saat ini, dunia pendidikan mengalami efek yang merugikan bagi siswa. sehingga siswa tidak lagi tertarik membaca buku dan beralih ke perangkat yang menawarkan berbagai permainan. Siswa cenderung menghabiskan banyak waktu berinteraksi dengan media digital, seperti media sosial, Sehingga rendahnya minat baca di kalangan siswa lingkungan sekolah, termasuk di SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang. Pengabdian ini menggunakan data kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang dengan menciptakan pojok baca. Sebagai upaya untuk mendorong minat siswa dalam membaca dan mengembangkan keterampilan literasi mereka. Pojok baca adalah area khusus di suatu tempat, seperti perpustakaan, ruang kelas, atau ruangan lainnya, sehingga kami memanfaatkan yaitu dengan melakukan kolaborasi atau menggabungkan antara perpustakaan dan pojok baca yang dirancang untuk memberikan suasana yang nyaman untuk kegiatan membaca.Pojok baca memberikan dampak positif terhadap minat baca siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang sebelum dan sesudah .Dengan adanya pojok baca, para siswa termotivasi untuk belajar .Pokok baca memiliki peran penting dalam membantu peserta didik melakukan kegiatan baca ternyaman bagi mereka. Pojok baca dapat digunakan sebagai suatu sarana yang efektif untuk menyisipkan pengalaman membaca ke dalam proses pembelajaran sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: literasi, pojok baca, minat baca

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal protection of customers within the Islamic banking system in Indonesia, both normatively and practically. In Islamic economic principles, customer protection is not merely a legal obligation, but a moral and religious responsibility rooted in the values of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, particularly in ensuring justice (al-‘adl), trust (tsiqah), and protection of wealth (ḥifẓ al-māl). This research applies a qualitative-descriptive approach through literature review and normative juridical analysis of statutory regulations, DSN-MUI fatwas, and relevant Islamic legal doctrines. The findings indicate that although legal frameworks such as Law No. 21 of 2008, DSN-MUI fatwas, and OJK regulations offer a substantial basis for customer protection, implementation faces several challenges. These include information asymmetry between banks and customers, low Islamic financial literacy, insufficient monitoring of standard contracts, and limited access to Sharia-based dispute resolution mechanisms. Therefore, the study recommends reformulating contract structures, strengthening the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), and enhancing public education regarding their rights as Islamic banking customers. Legal protection must be both formally legal and ethically grounded in Islamic justice.

Abstract

Enforcing criminal law against perpetrators of environmental pollution and destruction crimes is crucial for environmental preservation. This article aims to examine the enforcement of criminal law against such offenders through a literature review method. Research findings indicate that despite existing laws and regulations on environmental protection, criminal law enforcement still faces various challenges. Lack of inter-agency coordination, limited human resources and budget, and low public awareness are hindering factors in criminal law enforcement. To enhance the effectiveness of criminal law enforcement, synergy and commitment from various parties are required. Institutional strengthening needs to be carried out by clarifying the duties, functions, and authorities of each agency in handling environmental crimes. Continuous capacity building of human resources is also necessary through specialized education and training. Efforts to increase public awareness and participation can be undertaken through campaigns, outreach, and environmental education. Furthermore, an evaluation and updating of regulations are needed to ensure deterrent effects for offenders and prevent the recurrence of environmental crimes in the future. Criminal sanctions imposed must be proportionate to the impact of the damage caused. With these efforts, it is hoped that criminal law enforcement can become an effective instrument in preserving the environment in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of conventional and digital learning media in Christian Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 8 Palangkaraya. The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of these media in enhancing student understanding and engagement. A quantitative experimental design was employed, involving 106 seventh-grade students divided into groups using different media: educational snake and ladder games for conventional media and interactive PowerPoint presentations for digital media. Data were collected through observations and Likert-scale questionnaires. The findings indicate that both media effectively foster a lively learning atmosphere, with students showing high enthusiasm and participation. The conventional media was particularly beneficial for active learners, while digital media catered to visual learners. The implications suggest that varied media use can enhance teaching quality and accommodate diverse learning styles, making learning more engaging and meaningful.

Abstract

This study explores the use of psychotropic substances, which affect the central nervous system and can alter mental functions, behavior, and individual perception. In the medical context, psychotropics have been widely utilized for treating mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia. The research emphasizes the importance of understanding the mechanisms of psychotropics to optimize their therapeutic benefits while minimizing the risk of adverse effects. The study employed animal models, specifically rats, using the forced swimming test (FST) to assess the antidepressant and sedative effects of various substances, including Esilgan, Xanax, Zolmia, Syzygium malaccense leaf extract, and lelap (herbal), with NaCMC as a negative control. The results demonstrated varying sedative and antidepressant effects among the substances, with Xanax exhibiting the most significant antidepressant effect, while Syzygium malaccense leaf extract showed potential as a natural sedative agent. The study also underscores the importance of applying the 3R ethical principles (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) in animal research and highlights the need for alternative methods to reduce reliance on animal testing. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing safer, more effective, and ethical psychotropic therapies for mental disorders in the future.
