Abstract

Conformity is a social behavior change experienced by an individual during socialization in their environment. In the adolescent phase, teenagers often engage in conformist behavior, where they follow the rules of a large or small group to be recognized as members, even if it goes against their true selves. The purpose of this research is to examine whether there is a change in the impact of Role-Playing Technique on reducing negative conformity among adolescents at SMAN 1 Kramatwatu. The research uses a Quasi-Experimental method with an Experimental Group and a Control Group. The Pre-Test results show that out of a total of 124 students, 16 students fall into the high category, 108 students in the moderate category, and no students in the low category. Those in the high category become the experimental sample. The hypothesis test in this research uses the Mann Whitney U test, and the hypothesis test result shows an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001, where the value is < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this research is accepted, and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the results between the experimental group that received treatment and the control group that did not receive treatment. Due to this difference, the result can be stated that the Role-Playing Technique has an effect on reducing the negative impact of conformity among adolescents at SMAN 1 Kramatwatu.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the personality competence of guidance and counseling teachers, especially fresh graduate teachers. The research employed a quantitative descriptive research method and used total sampling techniques to gather 32 respondents from the fresh graduate guidance and counseling teachers at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa as the research sample. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. The research findings indicated that the personality competence of the fresh graduate guidance and counseling teachers from Untirta fell into the high category, at 87,5%. Meanwhile, in the moderate category, it was at 12.5%, and in the low category, it was 0%. Consequently, it can be concluded that the majority of the fresh graduate guidance and counseling teachers from Untirta have a high level of personality competence according to the provisions of the National Education Minister Regulation No. 27 of 2008 concerning Academic Qualification Standards and Counselor Competence. Abstract

This study aims to find out the general description of academic procrastination in State Vocational School students in Serang City. The type of research used was a descriptive study with a sampling technique using proportional random sampling with a total sample of 336 students in Serang City, divided into 8 schools. The measurement tool used is the academic procrastination scale which consists of aspects, namely delays in starting or completing the tasks at hand, delays in doing assignments, time gaps between plans and actual performance and carrying out other activities that are more enjoyable, which as a whole consists of 37 statement items . The data analysis technique uses a quantitative descriptive method. The results of the study showed that the level of academic procrastination in students in the high category was 3.1%, medium was 89%, and low was 7.1%. Therefore, the academic procrastination of State Vocational High School students in Serang City is in the moderate category. After analyzing the results of the research and obtaining categorization, the guidance and counseling program design was made based on the needs of the student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental care and adolescent emotional maturity at SMP N 1 Serang City. The population is taken with the condition that adolescents aged 13-15 years from these criteria obtained the number of respondents 158 students through random sampling. The research method used is quantitative. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire measuring scale consisting of aspects of parenting with a reliability value of 0.941 and a questionnaire measuring scale consisting of aspects of emotional maturity with a reliability value of 0.921. Based on the results of the regression test, the results obtained sig (2-tailed ) is 0.000 < 0.05, and the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.303 (p < 0.01). This means that there is a significant relationship between parenting and adolescent emotional maturity, where the higher the parenting style will have an impact on emotional maturity.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the image of the emotional regulation of adolescents who has a single-parent man. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach. The research place is the subject, who resides in Serang city. The data sources of this study are three teenagers who have single parents caused by death. The results showed that the picture of emotional regulation in adolescents with single parents’ men had not been formed perfectly. Because the subject was still unable to cope with the emotional problems he was experiencing, it wasn't easy to control and express his emotions appropriately. The implications of this study illustrate the importance of a close single-parent man in adolescents to have good emotional skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat self-disclosure siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 10 Kota Serang dan mengevaluasi fenomena awal yang teramati di sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang mengukur self-disclosure siswa dalam enam aspek: sikap dan opini, selera dan minat, sekolah, keuangan, kepribadian, dan fisik. Penelitian ini melibatkan 184 responden yang dipilih secara acak dari populasi siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 10 Kota Serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan instrument Jourard Self-Disclosure (JSDQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa (70%) berada dalam kategori self-disclosure "sedang". Meskipun berbeda dengan fenomena awal yang mengindikasikan self-disclosure rendah, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan siswa untuk mengungkapkan informasi diri dalam berbagai aspek, meskipun belum mendetail. Hubungan yang terjalin dengan teman sebaya cenderung cukup dekat, namun masih kurang dalam hal keakraban. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa self-disclosure siswa cenderung meningkat selama masa remaja. Hal ini sesuai dengan penemuan penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa self-disclosure merupakan faktor penting dalam membangun hubungan interpersonal yang lebih intim dan saling memahami. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya meningkatkan self-disclosure siswa untuk membangun hubungan pertemanan yang lebih baik dan saling mendukung. Program pembinaan dan konseling di sekolah dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan kemampuan self-disclosure siswa dalam aspek-aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media bimbingan dan konseling berbentuk permainan papan atau board game kepercayaan diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) dengan konsep pengembangan model 4D Thiagarajan. Adapun 4 tahapan yang dilakukan ialah define (Pedefinisian), design (Perancangan), development (Pengembangan), disseminate (Penyebaran). Partisipan uji coba penelitian ini adalah 5 orang siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Kramatwatu yang memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri sedang dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen angket. Hasil uji kelayakan terhadap produk yang dikembangkan mendapatkan nilai 95,31% pada uji kelayakan media dan materi, 91,66% pada uji kelayakan bahasa dan 91,66% uji kelayakan ahli praktisi, sehingga didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92,88% atau berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap media permainan mendapatkan nilai sebesar 79,08% atau berada pada katagori “sangat baik”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media board game kepercayaan diri sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan.

Abstract

Potensi peserta didik dalam matematika dapat dilihat berdasarkan minat dan sikap peserta didik, karena minat dan sikap merupakan hal penting yang dapat menunjang kemauan dalam belajar. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya penelitian dan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi siswa kelas XII SMAN 10 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam matematika. Dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 68 siswa kelas XII SMAN 10 Kabupaten Tangerang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah penelitan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner (angket) dan wawancara guru, dengan jumlah pernyataan pada angket sebanyak 30 pernyataan yang mencakup dari sisi positif dan negatif serta pertanyaan wawancara sebanyak 5 pertanyaan. Data analisis menggunakan presentase yang kemudian dideskripsikan berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Hasil analisis penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa lebih dari setengah peserta didik mempunyai minat, perhatian, tertarik, dan disiplin dalam pelajaran matematika. Namun, lebih dari setengah peserta didik merasa kesulitan dalam pelajaran matematika. Meskipun kesulitan, hampir semua peserta didik merasa bahwa matematika memiliki peluang untuk kehidupan kedepannya. Jadi, kesimpulannya rata-rata presentase data angket mengenai potensi peserta didik diperoleh sebesar 67%, artinya lebih dari setengah peserta didik memiliki potensi keberhasilan pembelajaran matematika. Dari pihak sekolah juga memberikan fasilitas yang dapat menunjang peserta didik mengembangkan potensinya.

Abstract

Abstract: Procrastination is a mechanism for dealing with anxiety related to how individuals start or complete work and how decisions are made. Procrastination carried out at school in connection with academic tasks is called academic procrastination. The phenomenon that occurs in students who often delay doing schoolwork is a problem in itself for teachers and students themselves. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of self-management techniques to reduce academic procrastination. The type of research used is single subject research (SSR) experimental research with 4 students as subjects. The data collection method uses a questionnaire or academic procrastination questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use analysis within conditions and analysis between conditions. The results of the study showed that the overall average percentage reduction for subject 1 and subject 4 from the baseline phase (A1) to the baseline phase (A2) was 33%, while for subject 2 and subject 3 it was 31%. In addition, the overlap data from the baseline A1 phase to the intervention phase, and the intervention phase to the baseline A2 phase has an overlap percentage of 0%, the highest percentage reduction occurs in the A1 baseline phase to the intervention phase by applying four stages, namely: 1) self monitoring, 2 ) positive reinforcement (self reward) 3) agreement with yourself (self contracting) 4) mastery of stimuli (stimulus control), so that self management techniques are quite effective in reducing academic procrastination in class XII Science students at SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang.Keywords: Self Management Techniques; Academic Procrastination.Abstrak: Prokrastinasi merupakan suatu mekanisme dalam rangka menghadapi kecemasan yang berkaitan dengan bagaimana cara individu memulai atau melengkapi suatu pekerjaan serta cara pengambilan sebuah keputusan. Prokrastinasi dilakukan di sekolah berkaitan dengan tugas-tugas akademik disebut dengan prokrastinasi akademik. Fenomena yang terjadi pada siswa yang sering menunda melakukan tugas sekolah menjadi masalah tersendiri bagi guru dan siswa itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh teknik self management untuk mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian eksperimen single subject research (SSR) dengan subjek berjumlah 4 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner prokrastinasi akademik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis dalam kondisi dan analisis antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase penurunan rata-rata keseluruhan untuk subjek 1 dan subjek 4 pada fase baseline (A1) ke fase baseline (A2) sebesar 33%, sedangkan subjek 2 dan subjek 3 sebesar 31%. Selain itu, data overlap pada fase baseline A1 ke fase intervensi, dan fase intervensi ke fase baseline A2 memiliki persentase overlap sebesar 0%, penurunan persentase tertinggi terjadi pada fase baseline A1 ke fase intervensi dengan mengaplikasikan empat tahap yaitu: 1) self monitoring, 2) reinforcement yang positif (self reward) 3) perjanjian dengan diri sendiri (self contracting) 4) penguasaan terhadap rangsangan (stimulus control), sehingga teknik self management cukup efektif dalam mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 4 Pandeglang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of learning styles of 8th grade students of SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah for the 2019/2020 academic year. The purpose of this study was to find out how the profile of learning styles used by full day school students in 8th grade of SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a population of 95 students in class VII SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah which was then narrowed down again using the slovin formula so as to obtain a total sample of 77 students. The data collection method used a learning style questionnaire made by Andriyana Sugiyanto, S.Pd with a reliability level of 0.918. The results showed that the 8th grade students of SMP Terpadu Al-Qudwah who had a visual learning style were 31,2%, while students with an auditory learning style were 62,3% and 6,5% students had a kinesthetic learning style.
