Abstract

Batu City is a region known for its natural beauty but also faces high risks of natural disasters such as landslides, earthquakes, and floods. The primary challenge faced by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Batu City is the manual processing of refugee data. In emergency situations, such as post-disaster scenarios, time is crucial, and manual data collection, processing, and reporting can hinder the rapid response needed to assist refugees. Additionally, data mismatches and inaccuracies in logistics and kitchen needs pose serious problems. Therefore, there is a need for a refugee management information system to enhance the operational effectiveness of BPBD Batu City in data processing, real-time data monitoring, and ensuring the accuracy of logistics and kitchen needs data. This study employs a combination of design thinking and the spiral method for system development. Based on testing the impact of the application on BPBD's response showed an increase in response speed by 87.1%. This proves that the implemented system effectively enhances BPBD Batu's operational efficiency in refugee data collection and monitoring.

Abstract

The Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Management Group (KP-SPAMS) oversees the Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision Program (PAMSIMAS), which is essential for providing clean water services to rural areas. Nevertheless, KP-SPAMS continues to face challenges related to operational transaction management, such as the documentation of customer data, water usage, invoicing, and financial reporting. This research aims to develop a web-based transaction information system, utilizing the Laravel framework and the Extreme Programming methodology, to meet the specific requirements of KP-SPAMS Sumber Waras located in Ngenep Village, Malang Regency. The Extreme Programming methodology facilitates adaptable and cooperative software development, enabling quick responses to evolving customer requirements. The system's primary functionalities are customer registration, water usage recording, automatic billing, and payment reporting. The implementation results indicate that this system may enhance operational efficiency, accountability, and traceability of all transaction processes in KP-SPAMS, facilitating improved decision-making and superior service quality for the community. User Acceptance Testing results show that 80% of users rated the system positively, with 53.33% agreeing and 26.67% strongly agreeing that the system meets their needs and provides a satisfactory experience. Only 6.67% of responses indicated dissatisfaction, and no respondents strongly disagreed, demonstrating that the system aligns well with user expectations and offers a solid foundation for future improvements.

Abstract

Food is a necessity that cannot be eliminated in life in this world. Food is one of the benchmarks for a country whether the country is prosperous or not in meeting the food needs of its citizens. The category of food that Indonesian people really like is catfish. The high market demand for catfish has resulted in catfish cultivators being overwhelmed in meeting these food needs. One effort that can be done is to initiate the design of a "Harvest-Harvest" supply chain management system, which consists of 3 different platforms, namely cultivators/farmers, feed providers, and marketplaces. The system designed in this development is based on Service REST API. Through the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development methodology, all parties who took part in the development of the "Harvest-Harvest" supply chain management system, including designers, programmers, partners, and users who have been identified, take part in the role until all features are complete and running well as should.

Abstract

Clustering is one of the key techniques in unsupervised learning analysis, aimed at grouping similar data objects into clusters based on shared characteristics. The broad benefits of clustering are evident across various sectors, such as business, marketing, finance, and many others. However, the complexity of implementing clustering, especially for those without a background in statistics or programming, poses a barrier. The appropriate selection of clustering methods and accurate interpretation of results require a solid understanding of statistics. This research aims to address this issue by crafting a detailed Software Requirements Specification for a user-friendly clustering application, equipped with an intuitive interface and effective tools, based on comprehensive literature study, which finally allowing non-experts to engage in the clustering process without in-depth knowledge of statistics or programming. As such, this study endeavors to provide a practical solution for utilizing clustering without excessive technical impediments.

Abstract

Yayasan Pendidikan Daarul Faroh Solihin merupakan lembaga pendidikan nirlaba yang menyelenggarakan layanan PAUD, TK, TPA, dan TPQ bagi masyarakat dengan biaya terjangkau, namun menghadapi keterbatasan visibilitas digital yang berdampak pada rendahnya akses informasi terkait program pendidikan, kegiatan sekolah, dan pendaftaran peserta didik baru. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan website resmi sebagai sarana informasi dan media komunikasi yang lebih efektif antara yayasan dengan masyarakat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan sistem melalui wawancara dengan pengurus yayasan, perancangan dan pengembangan website menggunakan CMS WordPress yang dipilih karena kemudahan pengelolaan konten oleh pengguna non-teknis, serta penempatan website pada layanan komputasi awan (cloud computing) guna memastikan aksesibilitas yang stabil, aman, dan mudah dipelihara. Setelah pembangunan teknis selesai, dilakukan penyusunan konten awal yang mencakup profil yayasan, struktur organisasi, program pendidikan, galeri kegiatan, serta berita-berita terbaru yang relevan bagi orang tua dan masyarakat. Selain itu, diberikan pelatihan singkat kepada guru dan staf yayasan agar mampu mengelola dan memperbarui konten secara mandiri, sehingga keberlanjutan pemanfaatan website dapat terjaga. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa website yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan eksistensi daring yayasan, menyediakan pusat informasi yang terstruktur, serta memperluas jangkauan promosi dan komunikasi publik. Website ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana pendukung utama dalam peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan dan transparansi informasi di Yayasan Pendidikan Daarul Faroh Solihin.

Abstract

The management of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) funds in many mosques is still carried out conventionally, leading to inefficiencies in collection, reporting, and distribution, as well as limited transparency and accountability. Masjid Raya An-Nur at Politeknik Negeri Malang, as a religious activity center, plays a strategic role in managing community funds. However, its manual system has hindered timely financial recording and reporting. The main challenges include limited access for donors to contribute online, slow verification processes, and a lack of transparency that may reduce public trust. To address these issues, this community service program developed and implemented an Android-based mobile application for ZIS management. The methodology involved a needs analysis through interviews and observations, system design utilizing REST API architecture with a Laravel back-end and MySQL database, and user training for both administrators and donors. The results indicate that the application successfully facilitates online donations, provides real-time reporting, and enhances donor participation through transparency features and digital reminders. Furthermore, the payment gateway integration enables more flexible and secure payment methods. Overall, the system has improved the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of ZIS management at Masjid Raya An-Nur, strengthened donor trust, and contributed to the digital transformation of religious social fund governance.

Abstract

Sistem Manajemen Tugas Akhir (SIMTA) di Jurusan Teknologi Informasi berperan penting dalam pengelolaan tugas akhir atau skripsi mahasiswa. Seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah mahasiswa, distribusi beban kerja dosen pembimbing dan penguji menjadi tantangan yang semakin kompleks. Artikel ini mengusulkan integrasi mekanisme Portion-Based Balancing dalam fitur pengusulan pembimbing dan penguji skripsi untuk meningkatkan keadilan dan efisiensi distribusi beban kerja dosen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan pengujian sistem pada beberapa skenario pembagian beban kerja. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme yang diusulkan tidak hanya meningkatkan pemerataan beban kerja, tetapi juga memperbaiki transparansi dan akurasi dalam proses pengusulan. Integrasi ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan lebih luas di institusi pendidikan lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas bimbingan dan penilaian tugas akhir.

Abstract

In this study, the Researchers provide the design, development, and evaluation of a web-based SQL exam system that utilizes the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern to enhance automated grading functionality and ease of maintenance. The main objectives of the system are to simplify the process of administering SQL exams, to make it user-friendly for students to enter their SQL statements, and as a means for teachers to automate the grading process. This allows a clear separation between three separate modules: Model to manage data, View to present the application to users, and Controller to manage the application logic. This separation allows for modular development, easier maintenance, and code reuse. The fundamental aspect of the system lies in its automated grading mechanism, which intelligently compares the SQL queries submitted by students with the corresponding validated answer keys stored in the database. Extensive black-box testing was conducted to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the system with various test cases to assess its ability to assess responses and provide real-time feedback to students, in addition to smooth and intuitive navigation within the system. All testing criteria yielded successful results with 100% agreement proving the robustness of the system with all possible locations that could potentially be used in higher education structures. The system provides a scalable and flexible approach to address the challenges associated with SQL assessment in academic institutions, thereby facilitating uniform, efficient, and objective evaluation standards. The system uses data up to October 2023 to prevent the model from becoming obsolete

Abstract

In modern industrial environments, effective supervision of worker attendance and activity is essential to ensure safety and optimize productivity. Inadequate monitoring can lead to increased workplace accidents and reduced operational efficiency. To address these challenges, we propose an intelligent monitoring system leveraging computer vision techniques, implemented using PyTorch and the YOLO (You Only Look Once) object detection framework. The system utilizes video input from CCTV or cameras installed in the workspace and performs real-time analysis through several key modules: (i) Worker Counting, which detects and counts the number of employees present; (ii) Activity Detection, which classifies workers as actively working or idle (e.g., sleeping or using mobile phones); (iii) Fall Detection, which identifies and alerts the server in case of worker falls; and (iv) Absent Detection, which tracks and flags workers who leave the monitored area. Detection results and relevant video segments are automatically archived in local storage, enabling retrospective review and continuous monitoring. By integrating these modules, the proposed system aims to enhance workplace safety, support real-time remote supervision, and improve overall operational effectiveness in industrial settings.

Abstract

This study presents AutoClusterAPI, a lightweight and extensible backend system designed to simplify and accelerate unsupervised clustering workflows. The system addresses a recurring problem in data analysis practice: many practitioners need rapid clustering capabilities but lack the programming or statistical background required to build complete pipelines from scratch. AutoClusterAPI provides an automated, endpoint-driven solution that allows users to perform every stage of clustering — from data loading and cleaning to feature preparation, algorithm execution, profiling, and visualization — through standard HTTP requests. The system is built using Python and the FastAPI web framework, supports eight clustering algorithms, and includes automated preprocessing alongside PCA-based visualization. Functional testing confirms that all endpoints behave correctly under both valid and invalid inputs, establishing the reliability of the system. A case study using a customer segmentation dataset further demonstrates its practical utility, showing that AutoClusterAPI can efficiently generate meaningful cluster structures and interpretable visual outputs. The system offers an accessible yet configurable environment for rapid clustering analysis and establishes a basis for future extensions and real-world deployment.
