Abstract

Anisah. 182140060. "Development of Character Education-Based Interactive Learning Media in Class VII Middle School Mathematics Learning Using Powerpoint". Thesis. Mathematics education. FKIP. Purworejo Muhammadiyah University. 2023. The aim of this research is to develop and determine the feasibility of the learning media that has been developed. The media product in this study is in the form of interactive learning media based on character education using Powerpoint in learning mathematics for seventh grade junior high school on integer material. This research uses the type of development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques in this research were carried out by means of interviews, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used include media expert and material expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaire sheets and student responses, and final test questions. The subjects in this research were class VIID students at SMP Negeri 18 Purworejo. Data analysis in this study was the validity data analysis of media experts and material experts, analysis of teacher response data and student responses, and analysis of final test completeness data. The results of the media expert's assessment obtained a total score of 66 with valid criteria and material experts obtained a total score of 29 with the validity calculation formula obtaining results with valid criteria, from the teacher response questionnaire and student responses obtained an average total score of 85.1 with practical criteria, from The results of the final question test obtained a completion percentage of 84% with effective criteria. Based on the research results, this mathematics learning media was declared valid, practical and effective. Thus it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on character education in class VII SMP mathematics learning using PowerPoint is appropriate to use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Abstract

Concrete is one of the construction materials used in building structures, bridges, roads, and others. The material components that make up concrete consist of fine aggregates (sand), coarse aggregates (gravel), water, and cement. However, the drawbacks of concrete include low tensile strength, heavy weight, high sound reflection, and difficulty in reshaping after it has been formed. Adding fibers is one way to increase the flexural strength of concrete. This study aims to determine the utilization of concrete waste and the addition of denim fabric fibers in improving the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete, using fiber lengths of 100 mm and widths of 5 mm with variations of fiber addition at 1% and 2%. The test results at 28 days show the compressive strength values of control concrete, concrete with 1% fiber proportion, and 2% fiber proportion are 10,27 MPa, 8,3 MPa, and 5,44 MPa, respectively, with the optimum compressive strength being 10,27 MPa for the control concrete. Therefore, none of the compressive strengths reached the design compressive strength of 40 MPa. The flexural strength values from the tests are 3,52 MPa, 4,32 MPa, and 2,98 MPa, with the optimum flexural strength being 4,32 MPa at the 1% fiber proportion. The flexural strength values range between 34,27% to 54,77% of the compressive strength values.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy learning is a key component of the independent curriculum and a necessary skill for elementary school students. However, data on low student numeracy literacy, based on the AKM, has been found. Therefore, through a user requirement approach, it is necessary to implement training and mentoring to develop numeracy literacy skills for elementary school teachers to address this issue. The purpose of this activity is to improve teacher numeracy literacy through a digital approach. This PKM activity was carried out by providing training and mentoring to teachers on numeracy literacy. This activity was carried out for all elementary school teachers in Lareh Sago Halaban District, with 35 participants representing each school. This community service activity was well organized. Participants were enthusiastic in every activity. Participants also stated that they gained additional knowledge and new insights from this training activity. The evaluation results showed a positive response from participants to the training, with the percentage of achievement regarding the effectiveness of the training implementation being 90.63%. In terms of participant abilities, there was an increase in participant abilities from 80.58% to 89.09%.

Abstract

The practice of buying and selling plantation commodities at the community level still presents problems related to honesty, fairness in weighing, and price transparency. Studies that specifically discuss sack-based areca nut transactions from the perspective of Islamic economics remain limited, particularly in the context of the community of Tungkal I Village, Tungkal Ilir Subdistrict. This study aims to analyze the process of sack-based areca nut buying and selling and to examine its conformity with the principles of Islamic economics. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research informants consisted of areca nut sellers, toke, and religious figures selected through the snowball sampling technique. Data were collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that sack-based areca nut transactions are conducted using manual platform scales and hanging scales. Before the transaction takes place, sellers and toke generally understand the mechanisms of weighing and price determination. However, this practice still contains several problems, such as sellers mixing weight-increasing materials, including stones, soil, and twigs, into sacks of areca nuts, as well as the rounding of weights by toke when the weight of the areca nuts does not reach a certain threshold. These findings indicate that the practice of sack-based areca nut buying and selling is not yet fully consistent with the principles of fairness, honesty, mutual consent, and accuracy in measurement in Islamic economics. This study contributes to enriching the study of fiqh muamalah concerning sack-based local commodity transactions and emphasizes the importance of a more transparent, fair, and mutually beneficial buying and selling system for both sellers and buyers.
