Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers to carry out online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The background of the research is at SD IT Khairul Imam Medan, conducted qualitatively with analytical descriptive method. Obtaining data used interview, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses reduction, data display, and verification techniques. The data was declared valid after going through the triangulation technique test. The results of this study indicate that the teacher of SD IT Khairul Imam Medan is competent (capable) in carrying out online learning during the Covid pandemic. This is indicated by (1) the school's efforts to provide virtual workshops, training, and webinars on making lesson plans (RPP); and (2) training for teachers in the use of online applications as online learning media. Furthermore, some factors support the implementation of online learning at the school, namely the provision of free wifi facilities in schools and the use of free data packages from the government for the process of implementing online learning. Even so, there are also inhibiting factors, namely unstable network access (signal) constraints, online RPP Mode that is not in accordance with the reality of its implementation, and the lack of discipline and honesty of students in carrying out assignments.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of teacher professional competency development at MAS Al-Washliyah 22 Tembung. This research is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach. This research was carried out through a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection using interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data sources are madrasa principals, deputy principals and teachers. Data analysis with data categorization, data interpretation. The research results concluded that first, planning for the development of teacher professional competence has not been contained in strategic plans, operational plans and activity plans, where development activities are still in the form of training and supervision activities. Second, the policy for developing teacher professional competence is also still in the information stage. The policy has not been directed towards training and supervision policies. Third, the implementation of teacher professional competency development begins in February-May in the form of supervision of teaching implementation by the head of the madrasah, while it is carried out by external madrasahs, namely in February-November of the new school year in the form of training from the Madrasah KSKK Directorate which takes part in 15 people while e- Guru.id and the Ministry of Religion have not yet had any teachers participate. Fourth, evaluation of teacher professional competency development is carried out during training only by conveying warnings about the importance of training, while evaluation during supervision is carried out through face-to-face evaluation with each teacher in the field of study and evaluation at work meetings.

Abstract

Oriensubulitermes inanis (Haviland) is one of the endemic termites in the Oriental Region and plays a very important role in the decomposition process in tropical forests. This study aims to redescribe O. inanis from Indonesia. Termite were collected by adopting a Standized Sampling Protocol (Jones & Eggketon 2000) and final taxonomic confirmation were conducted at the Natural History Museum UK) and Florida University (USA). We found 21 colonies of O. inanis from various habitats and altitudes in Indonesia. Distribution of O. inanis is often correlated with biodiversity status in tropical forests. Worker caste mandible provides the most useful character for the description of O. inanis. In Southeast Asia, this rare species is restricted and can be found only in the Malay Peninsula, Borneo and Sumatra, and absence from Java. Decayed wood, base of tree trunks, and other termite nests (epigeal mounds) are selected media used to construct their nests. Limited population number in a colony, restricted alates flying ability, and secretive nest habitats are thought to influence the distribution of O. inanis in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to explain the improvement of students' Arabic competence through the POACE learning management model. This research is a field research, using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. The technique used to ensure the validity of the data is triangulation. This study uses data analysis with Miles Huberman's interactive analysis model, namely collection data, reduction data, display data, conclusion: drawing/verification. The results showed that the POACE learning management model as an effort to improve students' Arabic competence was carried out with the following stages of activites: 1) Planning, namely determining achievement targets and how to carry out these activities; 2) Organizing, namely making arrangements for the resources owned; 3) Carrying out (action), namely learning activities are carried out in accordance with the planned procedures; 4) Control, which is to supervise all learning activities; 5) Evaluating, namely measuring the achievement of learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangai oleh adanya suatu layanan konseling individual terhadap peserta didik yang mengalami masalah broken home. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, subyek penelitian ini adalah guru bimbingan konseling, wali kelas, dan siswa yang mengalami broken home, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun beberapa Tindakan yang dilakukan guru BK untuk menghadapai masalah broken home ini ialah dengan melaksanakan kegiatan layanan konseling individu sebagai upaya pemecahan masalah yang dialami siswa.

Abstract

The aimed of this study was to know the effects of counseling in overcoming the lack of confidence of students in the departement Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling 6th semester. The research methodology of this study used quantitative approach with the kind of research quasy experiment non-equivalent control group design. The research was done at UINSU Medan. The population of this research were the entire students at the department of Islamic Education Counseling and Guidance 6th semester. The samples of this research were chosen from class bkpi-1 as an experiment class and bkpi-2 as a control class. Tho total samples were 40 students.Result of the study showed that there is an influence of counseling guidance in overcoming the lack of confidence of thhe students at the department of Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling 6th semester. It was proved by the results of Pos-test. The value of control class students is (69.55) and the value of experimental class students is (80.45). Therefore, this researchs conclude that guidance and counseling have a positive and significant impact on students' confidence at the departement of Islamic Education Counseling and Guidance 6th semester: Based on the results of data analysis using simple linear regression tests that it is significant value of 0.05 where the value is less than 0.05 or T <0.05, and the value of regression coefficient of guidance and counseling is 1.621, and the So, it can be conclude that group guidance has a positive influence on confidence levels of the students.

Abstract

The head of the madrasa is the driving force that determines the basic goals of the madrasa, determines how the objectives of the madrasa and education as a whole are achieved, including increasing the feasibility of teaching staff. play an important role in passing the quality of education. As stated in Article 14 (1) PP 30 of 2005, “Madrasah management is responsible for organizing educational activities, managing madrasas, fostering other education personnel and their utilization. Therefore, the Head of Madrasah needs to provide a special strategy in improving the competence of his educators (teachers). This study uses a qualitative approach by using data collection methods in the form of observation, interview, and recording. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative data analysis. In this study, the examiner uses three triangles, namely the root triangle, the method, and the reviewer triangle. Triangulate sources by comparing reviews, interviews and documents. Triangulation is done by collecting cyclical data such as methodological observations, interviews, and documents. The triangle reviewer compares the informant with the data obtained from other informants. The results of this study are as follows.1. Therefore, the Head of Madrasah needs to provide a special strategy in improving the competence of his educators (teachers). (a. Involvement of teachers in education; (b) To enable teachers to improve their knowledge and skills by studying at higher educational levels (c) Efforts to build an assessment team of learning outcomes; (d) Use of memorable learning periods (e) (f) ) Provide counselors and teachers about advances in science and technology, (g) provide examples of good teaching and counseling practices 2)). Darul Mursid, Personal Bachelor of South Tapanuri Regency, supports the leadership element2). Supporting Factors for Madrasah Heads as Innovators in Improving Teacher Pedagogical Competence at Darul Mursyid Private MA, South Tapanuli Regency, namely: (a). Head of professional madrasa, (b). Higher educator motivation, and (c). Student learning motivation is high. 3). The inhibiting factors for the efforts of the Madrasah Head as an Innovator for Improving Teacher Pedagogical Competence at the Darul Mursyid Private MA, South Tapanuli Regency, are: (a). Insufficient infrastructure, (b). Internet connection is not good.

Abstract

Ecoprint merupakan salah satu produk tekstil yang sedang diminati konsumen secara global. Material yang mudah didapatkan di alam berupa tumbuhan, proses pembuatan yang praktis, dan mempunyai harga jual yang sangat kompetitif di pasar menjadikan keahlian memproduksi ecoprint sangat diminati oleh masyarakat dan siswi di sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu observasi dan koordinasi, persiapan, implementasi kegiatan, evaluasi produk, serta pemasaran. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dihasilkan sejumlah produk ecoprint berupa batik ecoprint dengan pewarna alami dan dihiasi dengan berbagai motif tumbuhan yang terdapat di sekitar masyarakat. Siswi dan guru di SMKN 1 Darul Kamal telah mengusai teknologi ecoprint dan mampu menghasilkan produk dengan kualitas baik dan harga yang kompetitif. Para peserta diharapkan dapat mentransfer keahliannya kepada pihak lain sehingga kemapuan memproduksi ecoprint dapat lebih menyebar ke masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management and implementation of digital learning media in Islamic Religious Education at Bumrungsuksa Islamic Boarding School, Thailand. The research focuses on understanding how digital learning media is integrated into the teaching process, the challenges encountered, and the effectiveness of its application in improving students’ learning experiences. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The quantitative data is gathered through structured questionnaires distributed to teachers and students, while qualitative insights are obtained from in-depth interviews with school administrators and educators. Additionally, classroom observations are conducted to assess the practical implementation of digital learning media. The findings indicate that the integration of digital learning media has positively impacted students’ engagement and comprehension in Islamic Religious Education. However, challenges such as limited digital infrastructure, teacher readiness, and access to suitable digital content remain significant concerns. The study highlights the importance of strategic management in ensuring the effective use of digital learning media, including teacher training, resource allocation, and policy development. The results suggest that a well-structured management system can enhance the effectiveness of digital learning media, making Islamic Religious Education more interactive and accessible.
