Abstract

Implementation of STEM Learning in Ecosystem Material on Students' Critical Thinking Ability. STEM is a modern approach that integrates STEM aspects to develop students' skills in solving problems that arise in 21st century life. This study aims to obtain an overview of students' critical thinking skills. The sample of this study was students of class Vb UPT SD Negeri 064037 Medan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The type of research used in this research is the Pre-Experimental Design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data on students' thinking skills were collected using a critical thinking ability test instrument. The results showed that the average value of N-Gain in the Vb class was 0.81 which was in the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to know the integrated pedagogical competence of wahdatul ulum in pre-service biology teacher. The measured pedagogical competence indicators focused on the design and implementation of learning. It can be seen from the ability of students to develop wahdatul ulum-based learning scenarios and its implementation. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method using learning scenario assessment sheet and observation sheet on the implementation of learning scenarios as data collection instruments. Participants were 4th semester of biology education students who take biology learning strategy courses. 12 participants were selected by purposive sampling. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that pre-service biology teacher students were able to create an excellent learning scenario covering aspects of the completeness of the learning scenario components, the suitability of the subject name, the selection of learning models, the formulation of learning activities, and language. The suitability of learning objectives and wahdatul ulum aspects were classified as good. There needs to be an emphasis to put the learning objectives in learning scenarios so that the learning outcomes are clear. The meaning of the verses of the Qur'an regarding the material also needs to be explained to support the integration of wahdatul ulum in learning. In the implementation of learning, each stage of the preliminary activity, core activity, and closing activity was carried out very well, according to the learning scenario that had been made. The implication of this research is that there is a need for strengthening of a comprehensive understanding in the delivery of material on learning strategies and planning for biology course

Abstract

The selection of Religion and Social-based Real Work Lectures (KKN) more specifically, namely the Koran action subsequent to playing out the Maghrib supplication in Hamparan Perak Town, Shop Serdang Rule is one of the endeavors to work with kids in learning the Koran which so far has not been accessible. The strategy utilized in the execution of this Social-based genuine work addresses is resource based local area improvement (ABCD) where the local area is the entertainer and determinant of advancement endeavors in the climate or frequently alluded to as local area driven improvement (CDD). As well as being a spot or office for learning the Koran, this action is supposed to proceed with even after the Genuine Work Talk period is over so kids have better Koran abilities. The positive effect of this "Maghrib Koran" movement is that youngsters are acclimated with perusing the Qur'an subsequent to playing out the Maghrib supplication. Abstract

The Covid 19 outbreak has reduced elementary age children's interest in reading, especially in the field of science. This becomes a problem, which makes education practitioners to make online learning interesting and fun. Digital Flipbook media is a "Patent" solution that is applied to children. One of the suitable learning materials to be made into Flipbook learning media is local Parmayaman. Local Parmayaman can also improve Science Literacy. This research uses an R&D approach with development steps. The product trials used in this study used a pre-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest method. The type of data used is qualitative and quantitative. The research results show that it has passed the validation of media experts, material experts, and scientific literacy instrument experts. Flipbook digital media based on local Parmayaman is valid and suitable for use as learning media after going through the improvement stage according to the suggestions and comments given by experts. Judging from the validation results of media experts by 94%, material expert validation results by 93%, and Science Literacy instrument experts by 93% and "valid and very feasible". Judging from the results of the main field trials on 43 students, it was obtained from the scores of students working on Science Literacy questions using the pretest and posttest. These values ​​are averaged and then N-gain is calculated. The calculation results obtained N-gain of 0.705. The N-gain score is included in the high category

Abstract

Creative thinking is an important problem in learning. One of the learning approaches that can be used to improve creative thinking skills is the STEM learning approach. This is effective if it is supported by teaching materials in the form of E-LKPD. This study aims to determine the development of STEM-based E-LKPD learning media on human sensory material to improve the creative thinking skills of class XI students at SMA/MA. The method used in this study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model. The results of data analysis were carried out using a validation sheet in the form of a response questionnaire. The validation results from media experts get a percentage of 80% in a very valid category, from material experts get a percentage of 97% in a very valid category, from question instrument experts get a percentage of 88% in a very valid category and from questionnaire experts get a percentage of 100% with very valid category. The practicality test obtained a percentage score of 100% from school teachers in the very practical category and 98.2% from students in the very practical category. The N-Gain results in this study obtained a value of 0.6 in the moderate category. The conclusion of this study states that the STEM-based electronic Student Worksheet (e-LKPD) is very valid, practical and effective

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis CTL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X Yayasan Nurul Islam Indonesia. Modul yang dikembangkan akan memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi tentang Lumut (Bryophyta) Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Reaserch and Development (R&D) yaitu 4D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate ). Produk yang dikembangkan berdasarkan penelitian awal berisi tentang pengertian lumut, struktur lumut, ciri-ciri lumut, habitat serta jenis-jenis lumut. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah subjek ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media, guru mata pelajaran serta subjek siswa kelas X IPA Yayasan Nurul Islam Indonesia sebagai calon pengguna produk yang terdiri dari 7 orang siswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan 16 orang siswa untuk uji coba kelompok besar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Angket yang digunakan untuk menilai modul yang dikembangkan dari segi kelengkapan modul, isi materi maupun tampilan fisik modul. Data analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada uji coba kelompok kecil modul ajar berbasis CTL bagi siswa Kelas X Yayasan Nurul Islam Indonesia termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis dan pada uji coba kelompok besar termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, modul ajar berbasis CTL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X Yayasan Nurul Islam Indonesia pada materi Lumut ini layak digunakan oleh siswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Bahan ajar memiliki peran efektif dalam membantu pendidik untuk menyajikan materi pembelajaran agar dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajran. Modul adalah suatu bahan ajar yang digunakan dengan rangkaian materi yang cukup singkat dan spesifik yang dirancang sebagai bahan ajar untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Namun, disayangkan masih sangat sedikit sekolah yang memberikan modul kepada peserta didik.Penelitian ini menggunakan R&D (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE terdiri dari tahap analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation) dan Penelitian (evalution) yang telah direvisi dan telah dicobakan dilapangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di kelas X IPA 1 SMA Swasta PEMDA Bahorok, dengan jumlah peserta didik 40 orang instrumen yang dilakukan untuk memperoleh nilai modul menggunakan instrumen validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media, validasi ahli bahasa, validasi praktisi lapangan, angket peserta didik, dan pretes dan posttes kepada peserta didik. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh dengan revisi sebanyak 5 (lima) kali pada modul. Maka menghasilkan nilai dari validasi ahli materi dengan skor 81,11% (Sangat layak), validasi ahli media 79,5% (Layak), validasi ahli bahasa dengan skor 86,6% (Sangat layak), praktisi lapangan dengan skor 84,7% (Sangat layak), angket respon peserta didik 85,46% (Sangat layak), hasil pretest 81,2%, posttes 90,71 dan hasil N-Gain Ternomalisasi 0,71 (Tinggi).

Abstract

Di Desa Bandar Baru, Kecamatan Sibolangit, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan. Sebuah bisnis milik lokal mengawasi pengelolaan air minum di kelurahan ini. Untuk menggenjot pertumbuhan daerah, grup BUMD Bandar Baru berupaya membuka perusahaan baru. Dalam rangka menjawab kebutuhan rakyat dan mengupayakan masyarakat yang adil dan makmur, BUMDES didirikan dengan tujuan untuk berperan serta dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah pada khususnya dan pembangunan ekonomi nasional pada umumnya. Lebih banyak produktivitas diperlukan untuk memenuhi kesejahteraan kebutuhan hidup yang terus meningkat. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama Perangkat Desa dan Mahasiswa KKN 75 dalam pembuatan sabun sereh cair menggunakan ekstrak serai wangi untuk membantu petani serai wangi. Selain itu, serai memiliki wangi yang khas dan juga ekonomis sehingga mudah untuk diproduksi. Menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah, BUMDES adalah badan usaha yang seluruh atau sebagian besar modalnya dimiliki oleh Daerah.Dalam proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan metode penelitian PAR (Participation Action Research), dan prosedur pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis. Melalui penelitian ini, tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan daya cipta dan kesejahteraan masyarakat dalam mengelola sumber daya alamnya.

Abstract

Produk pangan dengan pemanfaatan bunga telang bukan hal yang baru lagi. Tumbuhan ini secara umum dipergunakan untuk pewarna makanan yang baik (alami) dan sebagai tanaman hias. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan sasaran untuk melihat bagaimana minat serta ketertarikan pelatihan pada masyarakat terhadap produk permen yang dibuat dari bunga Clitoria ternatea sebagai bahan pewarna alami untuk ide usaha rumahan masyarakat di pedesaan. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu metode PAR (Participatory Action Research) dengan menyajikan dalam bentuk video kreatif dengan bantuan media laptop dan handphone sebagai strategi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Aman Damai Kecamatan Sirapit Kabupaten Langkat pada Juli 2022 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 orang. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ialah terlaksananya pelatihan pembuatan permen candy menggunakan bunga telang sebagai pewarna alami yang memberikan pengetahuan dan skill bagi masyarakat di Desa Aman Damai Kabupaten Langkat sehingga ide pembuatan produk ini dapat dijadikan usaha rumahan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills in the subject of the human circulatory system in class XI IPA SMAN 1 Na IX-X Aek Kota Batu, Labuhan Batu Utara Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach (Quasi experiment). The instrument used is a test in the form of a description of 12 questions that have been validated by experts. The sampling technique was carried out by cluster random sampling with a total sample of 60 students consisting of two classes of 120 research populations.The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent sample t test statistic show that there is a significant effect between the PBL model on improving students' critical thinking skills in the human circulatory system material in class IX SMA Negeri 1 Na IX-X Aek Kota Baru, North Labuhanbatu Regency.
