Abstract

Here modern technology is defined as knowledge that is transformed into products, processes, services and organizational structures. Technology is always juxtaposed with the term science. Science is a human effort to understand the phenomena and facts of nature, and to preserve that knowledge conceptually and systematically. While technology is a human effort to use science for the benefit and welfare. Because of this relationship, the development of science is always related to technological developments, and vice versa. The development of science and technology has an exponential characteristic, which is getting faster and faster, because the results of one stage become the basis and reason for the next stage. It is not surprising that not only is its development accelerating but the role of science and technology in modern society is increasing in importance. The development of science is active in all fields, namely health, agriculture, economics, social sciences, natural sciences and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation, loyalty, and work discipline on employee productivity at PT. Mayora Indah Tbk Jatake 1 Unit, Tangerang City. The method used is quantitative with a causal approach. Data were collected through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability, then processed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 27. The results of the partial test showed that compensation had no significant effect on productivity (tcount = −1.452; sig. = 0.148), while loyalty (tcount = 5.521; sig. = 0.000) and work discipline (tcount = 3.286; sig. = 0.001) had a significant positive effect. Simultaneously, the three variables had a significant effect on productivity (F = 16.064; sig. = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.225 indicates that compensation, loyalty, and discipline only explain 22.5% of the variation in productivity, while 77.5% is influenced by factors outside the research model. This finding confirms that increasing employee loyalty and discipline contributes more to productivity than compensation, so companies need to strengthen non-financial factors alongside compensation policies.

Abstract

This meta-analysis aimed to investigate the impact of gamification on problem-solving skills in STEM education. The study analyzed 16 studies that compared gamification-based interventions with traditional teaching methods in primary and early secondary education. The results showed moderate positive effects of gamification on problem-solving skills, with a weighted mean effect size of 0.67. Additionally, the analysis revealed significant heterogeneity between studies, suggesting that the effectiveness of gamification varied across different contexts. Moderator analyses indicated that primary school students benefited more from gamification-based interventions than secondary school students, but gender did not have a significant moderating effect. The study highlights the potential benefits of gamification in enhancing problem-solving skills in STEM education, particularly for primary school students. However, the findings also suggest that the effectiveness of gamification may depend on various factors, such as the specific context and student demographics, which warrants further investigation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Drug Abuse and Precursor Prevention and Eradication Program (P4GN) at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in Tangerang City. The research questions address the role of communication, resources, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure in implementing the P4GN program. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Key informants included the Head of the BNN in Tangerang City, technical implementation staff, and representatives from the National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol). Supporting informants included community leaders, anti-drug volunteers, and neighborhood administrators from the program's target areas. The SWOT analysis indicates that the BNN in Tangerang City's P4GN program falls into Quadrant I (Aggressive Strategy), with strengths in the institutional structure, regulatory support, and the enthusiasm of implementers, as well as opportunities from technological developments, cross-sector collaboration, and increased public awareness. Challenges arise from limited resources and weak synergy between agencies. To translate the SWOT strategy into measurable operational forms, a Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach was used. The financial perspective focuses on budget efficiency and funding partnerships. The customer perspective focuses on increasing community participation. The internal process perspective emphasizes strengthening cross-agency coordination and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The learning and growth perspective focuses on improving human resource capacity and reward systems. These findings indicate the need for a holistic and measurable strategic approach to support the effectiveness of the P4GN program at the local level. Keywords: P4GN, Policy Implementation, SWOT, Balanced Scorecard, Tangerang City National Narcotics Agency, Narcotics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic efforts of the Babus Salam Islamic Boarding School to restore public trust by improving service quality. The background to this research is based on increasing competition among Islamic educational institutions, the appeal of the government's free school program, and the shift in parental preferences toward practical, skills-based education. Babus Salam, as an Islamic boarding school that adheres to traditional values, faces the challenge of maintaining its identity while adapting to the demands of modern education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six key informant groups: the foundation leadership, the principal, teachers, alumni, active students, and parents/guardians. Data analysis used the SERVQUAL model, which encompasses the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This analysis was combined with a SWOT analysis to identify the institution's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The research findings indicate that the primary strengths of Islamic boarding schools lie in their strong Islamic values, 24-hour dormitory system, charismatic kyai (Islamic teachers), and the emotional closeness between the teachers and students. However, weaknesses identified include limited sanitation facilities, a lack of air conditioning in classrooms, the absence of a formal monitoring system, and low alumni engagement. External threats include competition with modern Islamic boarding schools, the attractiveness of free public schools, negative perceptions stemming from issues at other Islamic boarding schools, and the rapid flow of information through technology. This study concludes that restoring public trust requires a comprehensive strategy encompassing improvements to physical infrastructure, strengthening managerial systems, enhancing human resource competencies, optimizing public communication, and integrating practical skills into the curriculum. These findings provide theoretical contributions to the development of strategic management literature on Islamic education, as well as practical recommendations for stakeholders and policymakers in strengthening the quality and competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools. Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the KOSP Workshop teacher training programme and the implementation of P5 in Cluster 06, Serpong District, South Tangerang City, with a case study at SDN Cilenggang 04. The evaluation was conducted using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model from Stufflebeam (2003) and effectiveness indicators according to Sutrisno (2010), including programme understanding, on-target, on-time, goal achievement, and tangible change. Data were collected through interviews with key informants, including school supervisors, teachers, parents, and students, then analysed qualitatively. The results showed that the training programme was effective in improving teachers' conceptual understanding of KOSP and P5, in line with the needs of the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile. Teachers were actively involved in discussions, simulations, and presentations, although technical implementation in the classroom still requires ongoing guidance. The programme was relevant, implemented on time, and achieved its short-term objectives, with increased teacher competence, creativity, and proactive attitudes in developing learning. However, several aspects need to be strengthened, including continued mentoring, expanding the training duration, updating modules based on local wisdom projects, strengthening teacher collaboration, and increasing parent and community involvement. Integrating these recommendations is expected to optimise the programme's long-term impact, improve teacher capacity, and encourage creativity and student learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of supervision in teacher administration management and its impact on improving the quality of education. Well-organized administration plays a crucial role in supporting the effectiveness of the learning process and achieving educational goals in schools. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving principals, teachers, and school supervisors. The results indicate that systematic and continuous supervision can increase compliance with educational regulations, improve teaching effectiveness, and enhance teacher discipline. However, obstacles remain in the implementation of supervision, such as a shortage of supervisors, limited supporting facilities, and a suboptimal understanding of administrative policies. Based on these findings, more effective supervision strategies are needed, such as the use of digital technology for administrative record-keeping, increasing the capacity of supervisors, and implementing a performance-based evaluation system. Thus, supervision of teacher administration management can be more optimal in supporting the improvement of educational quality in schools.
