Abstract

The arduino microcontroller processing system as the brain of this system organizes and controls the automation process. The proximity sensor will be used to measure and calculate the distance between the sensor and the object to be cut. The arduino microcontroller will control the servo motor and proximity sensor needed to drive the mechanical part.  Automatic briquette printers can be used to save time and increase the amount of production in a short time. After testing the briquette printer automatically and manually, it is known that when using an automatic briquette printer is able to produce 118 briquettes in 480 seconds, while when using a manual briquette printer is only able to produce 43 briquettes with the same time of 480 seconds. From the results of the comparison of automatic and manual briquette printers, it can be compared that the time efficiency of automatic tools is an average production cycle of 96 seconds with the number of briquettes printed 23.6 pieces with a score of 8, while in manual tools the average production cycle is 96 seconds, the average number of briquettes printed is 8.6 pieces and the average quality score is cut 7

Abstract

Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system on IoT-based solar power plant using HMI, PC, and Smartphone interfaces. HMI uses KTP 700 Comfrot, Siemens S7-1200 PLC connected to the internet via Ngrok, using Siemens TIA Portal V17. The purpose of monitoring the realtime state of the PLTS such as the condition of batteries, solar panels, inverters and loads used and maintaining from troubleshooting. This research designs hardware and software devices to develop a SCADA system. including PLC, HMI, PC, battery, SCC, inverter, solar panel and sensor devices and other actuators are arranged in such a way. software design is carried out in TIA Portal to program PLC and HMI, Node Red as an implementation of the internet of things. in the research it can be concluded that the application of ngrok on the localhost system is very easy, because it does not require a homebase to connect with an external network. and the output of solar panels is not always monitored by the temperature and solar radiation of the SCADA system on solar power plants based on the internet of things. the implementation of the internet of things uses Node Red and Ngrok software as a link between localhost and external networks. So the internet of things in this test can be controlled and monitored remotely with a cacatan must always be connected to the internet. Monitoring, control and data access systems work well

Abstract

The parking system currently used in the Bukittinggi City parking building is not effective in managing parking, because it does not provide real-time information about the availability of parking spaces. As a result, use of parking spaces is often suboptimal, with some parking spaces remaining empty while others are full. This research aims to develop and test a system that is able to manage parking availability in real-time to maximize the use of existing space. Test results show that this system functions well and provides accurate results, which is very much needed in a tourist city like Bukittinggi. Overall, this system offers an efficient and practical solution to overcome parking challenges in big cities, and has the potential for further development, including integration with automatic payment systems and the use of more sophisticated sensors. This research shows that the Arduino-based Smart Parking system Uno in the Bukittinggi City parking building has succeeded in increasing the efficiency of parking space management. By using components such as push buttons, thermal printers, servo motors, limit switches, and LCD I2C displays, this system provides real-time information about parking availability, making it easier for motorists to find parking spaces quickly

Abstract

The thrust roller control and monitoring system is very important in the cement production process, especially in the cement processing process that occurs in the Kiln equipment. At PT. Semen Padang, the thrust roller control and monitoring process using a potentiometer sensor often experiences problems. Based on this, this study aims to develop a solution to the problem of the thrust roller control and monitoring system to make it more accurate. This study was conducted using an experimental method. With this method, the author took some test data on the ultrasonic sensor as a substitute for the potentiometer sensor and then compared the test data with the actual value to determine the level of feasibility and error in the system. The research instrument used in the test was a meter while the object of the study was the thrust roller prototype that had been made. Based on the test results, the thrust roller control and monitoring system has been successfully carried out where the thrust roller movement is displayed in the form of an HMI screen simulation with a small error rate, namely from 20 trials 18 of them were successful while the remaining two experienced errors

Abstract

The advancement of technology has driven innovation in health monitoring systems based on Internet of Things(IoT), offering convenience and efficiency in patient condition monitoring. This study develops an IoT based system for monitoring the volume of Nacl (saline) infusion and detecting blood reflux in the infusion tubing to enchance patient care effectiveness. The system utilizes a Wemos D1 Mini microcontroler connected to the blynk application, enabling medical personnel to monitor and control the infusion process in real-time via smartphone. The system is equipped with a Load Cell sensor to measure infusion volume, an LDR sensor to detect blood reflux based on changes in light intensity, and a photodiode sensor to calculate infusion drip rate. Additionally, a servo motor is used to relugate the infusion flow rate by adjusting the pressure on the tubing. All collected data is transmitted in real-time to the IoT platform, allowing healthcare workers to perform continuous monitoring without repetitive manual checks. Testing result show that the system accurately monitors infusion volume, detects blood reflux, and controls drip rate. the implemetation of this device improves monitoring efficiency, accelerates response to changes in patient condition and reduces the potential for human error, The success of this system contributes to the advancement of healthcare technology, particularly in hospital patient monitoring and intensive care settings.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires vocational education (SMK) teachers to be able to develop innovative learning media, such as QR codes, to support 21st-century learning. This community service activity aimed to improve the skills of teachers at SMKN 1 Padang Panjang in designing and implementing QR code-based digital learning media integrated with the Activities Digital Learning (ADL) concept. This activity involved 20 teachers through stages of socialization, training, workshops, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The materials covered AI-assisted digital module creation, media design (Canva), video production (CapCut), and QR Code integration into ADL. The results of the pre-test and post-test evaluation showed an average increase of 35% in teachers’ digital skills. Furthermore, each teacher successfully created at least one ready-to-use QR code-based learning media product. This program also successfully established a collaborative network among teachers to support the sustainability of digital innovation at the school.
