Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknologi digital terhadap pemikiran Islam kontemporer dan praktik keagamaan di kalangan anak muda generasi Z (Gen-Z). Penelitian mixed method dilakukan kepada 264 mahasiswa di salah satu perguruan tinggi di Kabupaten Garut pada Fakultas Pendidikan Islam dan Keguruan. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen angket lima skala berkaitan dengan pemikiran Islam kontemporer, praktik keagamaan, dan keduanya. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil wawancara kepada lima orang mahasiswa yang diambil dari responden yang terlibat. Analisis data menggunakan desain triangulasi dengan interpretasi berdasarkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan kepada mahasiswa dari enam program studi kependidikan pada tahun akademik 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif teknologi digital sebesar 56,29% terhadap pemikiran Islam kontemporer Gen-Z, pengaruh positif sebesar 50,23% terhadap praktik keagamaan Gen-Z, serta pengaruh positif sebesar 51,48% terhadap pemikiran dan praktik keagamaan Gen-Z. Berdasarkan hasil ini terdapat potensi untuk penelitian berikutnya dalam mengembangkan teknologi digital di bidang keagamaan dan pendidikan islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pentingnya keterampilan berpikir kritis bagi siswa SMA serta model Problem Based Learning yang dibantu dengan permainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas model problem based learning berbantuan permainan tradisional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dan tahapan penelitian menggunakan protokol PRISMA, yaitu mengajukan riset pertanyaan, menemukan studi, evaluasi kritis studi, pengumpulan data serta analisis dan pelaporan data artikel dari databases Semantic Schoolar pada Software Publish or Perish. Dari 412 artikel yang diidentifikasi, 397 dieliminasi karena berbagai alasan, menyisakan 15 artikel yang termasuk dalam meta-analisis. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan adanya keterkaitan antara model Problem Based Learning dan keterampilan berpikir kritis serta permainan tradisional memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Beberapa artikel juga menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan berbasis masalah dan media eksperimental untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti literasi digital rendah dan koneksi internet yang tidak stabil, integrasi permainan tradisional dalam model PBL terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, serta kolaboratif siswa. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya dukungan dan pelatihan yang memadai bagi guru serta kerjasama antara semua pihak terkait untuk terus mengembangkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika di sekolah.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar Program is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative aimed at improving literacy and numeracy skills among students in underprivileged schools. This study explores strategies for optimizing supervision and preparing physics education students for participation in the program. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with lecturers from a physics education study program at a private university. The findings revealed that lecturers have a strong understanding of the program's objectives, yet the primary focus on elementary and middle school levels poses challenges in integrating physics-specific expertise. Students require comprehensive preparation, including pedagogical skills, mental readiness, and technological proficiency. Product-based assignments, such as teaching modules and learning media, along with process-based evaluations, were deemed effective in bridging field experiences with graduate learning outcomes (CPL). The synergy between supervision and the Kampus Mengajar Program fosters holistic learning, enhancing students’ practical skills. Curriculum adjustments to better integrate physics into elementary education contexts are necessary to address the gap in subject relevance. With structured supervision strategies and adequate preparation, the Kampus Mengajar Program can enhance students’ readiness as competent and adaptable educators in a dynamic educational landscape.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru fisika dalam menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran secara daring. Ada empat kemampuan yang diungkapkan, yaitu: 1) kemampuan membuat bahan ajar daring, 2) kemampuan menggunakan kelas virtual, 3) kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi video conference, dan 4) kemampuan membuat asesmen daring. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Pendidikan Islam dan Keguruan Universitas Garut semester empat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa calon fisika memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menggunakan kelas virtual dan aplikasi video conference, memiliki kemampuan yang cukup baik dalam membuat asesmen daring, namun kurang dalam kemampuan membuat bahan ajar daring.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the level of students' interest in subjects. Conducted Class XI science students at a Madrasah Aliyah in Garut Regency, the research employed a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Data gathering involved administering questionnaires to students, with subsequent analysis utilizing quantitative methods. The questionnaire, comprising 12 statements (10 positive and 2 negative), was derived from a validated and reliable instrument. Analysis of interest indicators revealed an overall average interest score of 79.7% among the Class XI students, indicating a strong interest in physics subjects. These findings suggest a positive inclination towards physics among the students surveyed. The study suggests that future research should delve deeper into examining students' interest in learning physics at the secondary school level, potentially uncovering nuances not addressed in this investigation. This research sheds light on the favorable interest levels students have towards physics. It underscores the importance of further exploration in understanding the dynamics of student interest in physics education, encouraging future researchers to delve into unexplored facets of this subject within the secondary school context.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan kolaboratif siswa dalam kegiatan praktikum pesawat sederhana di kelas 8 sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian dilakukan pada rangkaian kegiatan Lesson Study di salah satu sekolah menengah pertama negeri di Kabupaten Garut dengan tahapan plan-do-see. Ada 16 siswa kelas 8 yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Pengambilan data diperoleh dari dokumen hasil kerja siswa, hasil refleksi dengan observer, serta video rekaman kegiatan. Analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi keterampilan kolaboratif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa keterampilan kolaboratif siswa dalam kegiatan praktikum pesawat sederhana sangat baik. Di dalam kegiatan praktikum sangat dibutuhkan keterampilan kolaboratif dan kerja sama tiap anggota kelompok supaya terbangun kebersamaan yang erat di antara tiap anggota kelompok. Dengan terciptanya kolaborasi antar anggota kelompok, proses pemecahan masalah yang memerlukan waktu lama pada kegiatan praktikum dapat tercapai lebih cepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pentingnya penerapan model Creative Problem-Solving berbantuan media YouTube dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan inovatif siswa di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMA Swasta di Garut, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Creative Problem-Solving berbantuan media YouTube menghasilkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa secara signifikan, terutama pada aspek fleksibilitas, elaborasi, dan orisinalitas. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran yang mendorong berpikir kreatif dapat membantu siswa menghasilkan ide-ide baru dan inovatif serta memperdalam pemahamannya terhadap konsep-konsep fisika. Dengan demikian, pendidikan yang efektif dan mandiri merupakan kunci untuk menciptakan generasi yang berkualitas, siap menghadapi perubahan dan tuntutan zaman yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Merdeka curriculum is an education initiative in Indonesia that gives educators the flexibility to create learning that is more in-depth and suited to the needs of learners. This curriculum focuses on strengthening character and developing essential competencies, allowing students to go deeper into concepts and develop skills that are relevant to the challenges of the times. However, there are many obstacles in its implementation, especially in science learning, so it needs to be analyzed more deeply. The purpose of the research is to describe the planning, implementation, assessment, and students' responses to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in junior high school science subjects. The method used in this research is descriptive-quantitative. The subjects of this study were junior high school science teachers and students in grade VII in one of the private schools in the city of Bandung. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and questionnaires. Based on the data analysis above, it can be concluded that the average score of science learning planning in the independent curriculum is 3.15, so it is in the good enough category. The average score of the science learning assessment obtained is 2.5, so it can be said that teachers still do not carry out learning assessments well. The average for all aspects of learner response has a good category, namely 73.62%. Thus, it is suggested that the teacher prepare everything related to learning activities to the maximum so that maximum results can be obtained

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technology on contemporary Islamic thought and religious practices among Generation Z (Gen-Z). Employing a Mixed Methods Research (MMR) approach with a Triangulation design, the study involved 264 respondents using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with five key informants. The findings reveal that digital technology positively influences contemporary Islamic thought by 56.4%, religious practices by 50.2%, and the combination of both by 51.5%. Generation Z utilizes technology such as social media, religious applications, and online forums to understand Islam contextually and flexibly. They leverage technology to explore contemporary issues such as moderation and pluralism while supporting daily religious practices through digital Qur'an applications and online studies. However, the study also identifies challenges, including the risk of inaccurate information, exposure to radicalization, and potential impacts on religious traditions and spiritual depth. This research underscores the need for religion-based digital literacy to help Generation Z utilize technology wisely, with guidance from religious leaders and parents and the development of relevant religious applications. With a strategic approach, digital technology can effectively strengthen a moderate, inclusive, and contextually relevant understanding of Islam in the digital era. The findings of this study are expected to provide a foundation for developing strategies in Islamic education and dakwah tailored to support the spiritual lives of Generation Z in the future.

Abstract

This century, education aims to prepare students with the skills needed to thrive in Society 5.0. This has become the basis for ensuring comprehensive, impartial, quality learning and providing long-term learning opportunities for all. Communication and collaboration are essential skills that students must possess to effectively work in teams, solve problems, and adapt to dynamic environments. This study aims to reveal the communication and collaboration skills profile through peer student assessment and laboratory activity self-assessment. This research employs a case study method to analyze the differences between self-assessment, peer assessment, and lecturer observation in practical activities. The subject of this research is fifth-semester physics education students who take the Physics Experiment course. Before the laboratory activity begins, students are divided into small groups. Students are given an observation questionnaire at the end of each class to assess themselves and their group mates. In addition to self-assessments and peer-assessments, the results of the lecturer's observations are also one of the data to provide more in-depth information on students' collaboration and communication abilities.
