Abstract

Kata kunci: Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), Non performing Financing (NPF), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Return On Asset (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Debt Financing

Abstract

Kata    kunci: Determinasi, Perbankan,  Akses  Media  Informasi,    Pemahaman Bank  Syariah, Kepatuhan Beragama, Usia, Jarak Perbankan, Pendidikan, Perbankan Rekan Kerja

Abstract

Java Island continues to face high poverty levels, with 13.62 million people living in poverty in 2023. This study analyzes the effects of investment, education, health, the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), and the Covid-19 pandemic on poverty in six provinces of Java during 2013–2023 using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) and robust standard errors. The results show that education and LFPR have a negative and significant effect on poverty, while health has a positive and significant effect. Investment has a negative but insignificant effect, indicating unequal distribution. The Covid-19 pandemic significantly increased poverty levels. These findings highlight that poverty alleviation policies should focus on improving education quality, expanding employment opportunities, ensuring more equitable investment distribution, and strengthening inclusive health services. In addition, adaptive social protection systems are required to anticipate external shocks such as pandemics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of digital transformation in the Islamic economy over the past decade, its contribution to accelerating prosperity distribution in Indonesia, as well as the opportunities and challenges encountered. Digital transformation has been proven to play a vital role in improving financial inclusion, operational efficiency, and global competitiveness, particularly in Islamic banking, halal industries, zakat management, and mosque transformation. The research employed a systematic literature review of ten scholarly articles related to the digitalization of the Islamic economy. The analysis identified the patterns of development, contributions, opportunities, and challenges highlighted by each study. The findings reveal that digitalization drives economic growth, strengthens zakat redistribution, enhances halal industry competitiveness, and expands the socio-economic role of mosques. However, challenges such as regulatory uncertainty, low digital literacy, and cybersecurity risks remain major barriers. In conclusion, digital transformation serves as both a growth engine and a catalyst for equitable prosperity distribution within the Islamic economy.

Abstract

Islamic economics emphasizes social justice and equitable welfare distribution as core normative objectives, particularly through zakat, waqf, and Islamic social finance instruments. However, empirical findings on their effectiveness remain fragmented across institutional, social, and governance contexts. This study aims to systematically examine the role of Islamic social finance in promoting social justice, redistribution, and welfare. This research adopts a Systematic Journal Review approach by synthesizing peer-reviewed qualitative and quantitative studies published in reputable national and international journals. Articles were selected based on relevance, methodological rigor, and empirical focus on Islamic social finance and welfare outcomes. The findings indicate that zakat, waqf, and related instruments significantly contribute to poverty alleviation, welfare improvement, and economic empowerment. Quantitative evidence confirms statistically significant relationships between Islamic social finance distribution and welfare indicators, although governance constraints may weaken direct impacts in certain contexts. Qualitative studies highlight the importance of institutional accountability, digital integration, and productive financing models in enhancing redistributive effectiveness. In conclusion, Islamic social finance constitutes a viable and multidimensional mechanism for advancing social justice and welfare, provided it is supported by robust governance and strategic institutional integration.

Abstract

Village-level development disparities remain a persistent challenge in Indonesia's broader economic progress. This study aimed to map and analyze regional disparities in village development across 33 provinces in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022, using the Village Development Index (VDI) as a proxy. Employing descriptive statistical analysis and spatial mapping, the study examined the roles of two key factors: human capital, measured by the Human Development Index (HDI), and fiscal transfers, proxied by the Village Fund. The findings revealed that provinces in Java generally achieved higher VDI scores compared to those outside Java, with Bali as a notable exception. The disparities were influenced by the quality of human resources, accessibility to basic services, proximity to economic centers, and the effectiveness of Village Fund management. The study underscored the importance of strengthening human capital, improving governance in fund allocation, and addressing structural inequalities to promote more equitable and sustainable village development. These insights offer valuable implications for national policy and contribute to broader discussions on inclusive development strategies in emerging economies.
