Abstract

Fruits of Baccaurealanceolata is commonly used by tribe banjar in south Borneo to protect the skin damages due to sun light. People apply the pulverized fruits to the skin that will be exposed to sunlight. Antioxidant bioassay method (DPPH) is used to prove the effectiveness of the fruits.Baccaurea lanceolata fruitsvwere extracted by 70% ethanol, followed by fractionation with n-hexane, ether, ethyl acetate and methanol to give n-hexane (fr-H), ether (fr. Et2O), ethyl acetate (fr. EtOAc) and methanol (fr. MeOH) fractions respectively. Preparative TLC (SiO2) of the fr. EtOAc that showed the the highest antioxidant activity among those fractions. Based on spectroscopic data and comparison with reported data, the isolated compounds were identified as β-Sitosterol.

Abstract

Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) merupakan sitokin proinflamasi yang terlibat dalam berbagai penyakit seperti radang selaput otak, rematik, asma, tuberkolosiS, periontitis kronis, crohn desease, hepatitis dan sinusitis hidung. Sehingga ekspresinya perlu dikontrol untuk mengatasi penyakit ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan skrining inhibitor reseptor TNF-alpha convertase (TACE) sehingga menurunkan ekspersi TNF-α. Dengan menurunnya produksi TNF-α maka dapat sebagai antiinflamasi atau imunosupresan. Salah satu tanaman yang dapat dipergunakan untuk skrining ini adalah A.excels. Metode yang dipergunakan untuk skrining melalui PASSonline dan Docking dengan PLANTS serta dilihat prediksi memasuki peredaran darah dengan SWISSADME. Berdasarkan PASSonline Senyawa yang memiliki skor probability to be active imunosupreasant tinggi adalah batulinic acid (0,724), alphitolic acid (0,763), cis-coumaroyl alphitolic acid (0,771). Sedangkan yang memiliki probability to be active antiinflamasi adalah batulinic acid (0,741) dan cis-coumaroyl alphitolic acid (0,783). Berdasarkan stabilitas interaksi, senyawa yang memiliki kemampuan minimal 80% terhadap ligand referensi adalah alphitonin (98,25%), alphitexolide (92,33%), cis-coumaroyl alphitolic acid (98,31%). Kesimpulannya senyawa yang berpotensi yang memiliki stabilitas interaksi yang bagus adalah cis-coumaroyl alphitolic acid dan alphitonin

Abstract

ABSTRAK Baccaurea lanceolata oleh masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan digunakan untuk perawatan kulit, pendekatan ilmiah untuk membuktikan klaim itu salah satunya dengan uji antioksidan, uji antioksidan ini digunakan sebagai guided untuk menelusuri fraksi aktif. Dari hasil fraksinasi dengan menggunakan corong pisah, fraksi etil asetat mempunyai aktifitas paling tinggi dengan nilai IC50 230 ppm. Sehingga fraksi ini dilanjutkan difraksinasi dengan kolom gravitasi dan didapatkan 18 fraksi, fraksi No. 16 mempunyai aktifitas paling tinggi dengan nilai IC50 142 ppm dan fraksi No. 1 mempunyai aktifitas paling rendah dengan nilai IC50 675 ppm. Kata kunci: antioksidan, Baccaurea lanceolate, fraksi. ABSTRACT Baccaurea lanceolata by the people of South Borneo is used for skin care, scientific approach to prove the claim that one of them to antioxidant test, antioxidants test is used as guided to discover the active fraction. From the results of fractionation using a separating funnel, ethyl acetate fraction had the highest activity with IC50 values of 230 ppm. So that this continued fraction fractionated by column gravity and obtained 18 fractions, fractions No. 16 has the highest activity with value IC50 142 ppm and fractions No. 1 has the lowest activity with IC50 value of 675 ppm. Key words: antioxidant, Baccaurea lanceolata, fraction.

Abstract

Background : Hyperlipidemia is the medical term for abnormally high levels of fats (lipids) in the blood. The two types of lipids found in the blood are triglycerides and cholesterol. The enzyme that plays a role in cholesterol regulation is HMG-CoA reductase. Objective : The purpose of this study was to find the content of karamunting compounds that have stability in interactions with HMG-CoA reductase. Method : The research method is to see the probability of activity with webservices, protein-compound interactions with PLANTS, visualization with Discovery studio. Results : The results of this study have a minimum activity probability of 0.5, namely -tocopherol-quinone, naringenin, quercetin, -tocopherol A, verimol K. The docking score is at least 80% against the reference ligand, namely -tocopherol-quinone (100%), blumeatin (82%), rhodomyrtosone C (80%), tetrahydroxyflavanone (81%), -tocopherol A (86%). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is the probability of activity of the most potent compound is -tocopherol A and the interaction stability result is -tocopherol-quinone.

Abstract

Diabetes cases in Indonesia are increasing along with economic growth and people’s welfare, so the use of oral drugs for diabetes mellitus is also increasing. One of the drugs used is acarbose, this drug works as an α-amylase inhibitor. With the increasing use of drugs causing side effects on the body, it is necessary to screen natural ingredients for alternative treatments of diabetes mellitus. The natural ingredient used in this research is R. tomentosa. The docking method used to find interaction stability is pyrex. The result of this research are alpha-Tocopherol quinone (-5,1 kcal/mol); blumeatin (-7,3 kcal/mol); methyl cinnamate (-5,1 kcal/mol); myricetin (-7,7 kcal/mol); naringenin (-7,0 kcal/mol); quercetin (-7,5 kcal/mol); rhodomyrtone (-7,4 kcal/mol); rhodomyrtosone B (-7,3 kcal/mol); rhodomyrtosone C (-8,8 kcal/mol); tetrahydroxyflavanone (-7,2 kcal/mol); tocopherol A (-7,8 kcal/mol); and verimol K (-6,4 kcal/mol). Based on the screening of R. tomentosa content as an α-amylase inhibitor using the docking method, it can be concluded that the compound which has interaction stability is rhodomyrtosone C

Abstract

One of the home industries located in Martapura, Banjar Regency, is a tofu factory. The raw material for making tofu is soybean seeds which are processed so that the main product is tofu. In addition to producing tofu, the factory also produces by-products in the form of liquid waste and solid waste. So far, liquid waste is not used, but solid waste is used as animal feed. For this reason, in the application of science and technology, skills are given in the form of training to utilize liquid waste from the tofu industry into a new product, namely Nata de Soya. Nata de Soya is a highly nutritious food product, especially in the content of carbohydrates, protein and crude fiber. The methods used in this training are lectures and demonstrations. The purpose of this program is to add insight and skills to tofu industry players and the community, especially around the factory in processing liquid waste into Nata de Soya products. The results of this study increased public knowledge about the consequences of improper waste disposal and processing as well as increased knowledge of fermentation technology products and even succeeded in utilizing the tofu industrial liquid waste into processed fermented food in the form of Nata de Soya.

Abstract

G. mangostana telah banyak dilakukan penelitian mengenai bagian pericarp buah. Uji aktivitas yang telah dilakukan mulai dari ektrak, fraksi sampai ditemukan senyawa aktif. Berbagai macam uji untuk membuktikan khasiat Garcina mangostana telah dilakukan baik secara insilico,invitro atau invivo. Sehingga untuk menjaga kualitas dari G. mangostana terhadap resiko tercampurnya dengan spesies lain, maka diperlukan penelitian autentikasi G. mangostana terhadap G. tinctoria. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan melihat data spektrum UV-VIS dari berbagai komposisi sampel dikombinasikan dengan kemometrik menggunakan PLS. Hasilnya didapatkan dua daerah panjang gelombang yaitu 249.71-223.87 nm dan 300.2-266.73 nm. Pada 249.71-223.87 nm derivatisasi pertama diperoleh RMSEC 2,25; R2 0.9978; RMSEP 4,1; R20.9945; RMESCV 11,6; R2; 0,9469. Pada 300.2-266.73 nm normal diperoleh RMSEC 0,941; R2 0,9996; RMSEP 2,64; R2 0.9971; RMSECV 18,7; R2 0,8736. Sehingga dari kedua daerah panjang gelombang tersebut model normal 300.2-266.73 nm merupakan model terbaik untuk autentikasi G. mangostana ketika tercampur dengan G. tinctoria.

Abstract

Melati belanda flowers have two varieties that look different, namely from the shape of the flowers. The first variety has the shape of an elongated flower and the second variety has the shape of a rounded flower. So that, this difference in the shape of the flower will allow generating different activities. The purpose of this study was to identify the distinctive spectra of these two varieties. The method used is a fingerprint analysis of UV-VIS spectroscopy combined with chemometrics for the identification and authentication of varieties of Melati belanda. The results of the analysis of PLSR Combretum indicum Varr. B against Combretum indicum Varr. M on a spectrum of 218.86-252.54 nm, The first derivatization of RMSEC 2.39; R2 0.9975; RMSEP 6.92; R2 0.9939 and RMSEC 5.63; R2 0.9868. Meanwhile, with a wavelength of 253,260 – 299,020, a normal model of RMSEC 2.01 was obtained; R2 0.9983; RMSEP 1.89; R2 0.9985 and RMSEC 1; R2 0.9772. So can be concluded below UV-VIS spectroscopic fingerprint analysis combined with chemometrics is able to identify the authentication of the Combretum Indicum Varr. B against the occurrence of adulteration of flowers Combretum Indicum Varr. M at a wavelength of 253.260 – 299.020 nm of normal models.

Abstract

Inflammation is condition inflammation accompanied by pain and fever . _ In general drug anti-inflammatory work with hinder enzyme cyclooxygenase , both COX-1 and COX-2, which play a role in synthesize inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and thromboxane . Various study developed for look for agent more therapy effective and have more risk low good symptom inflammation I or consequence period long from disease inflammation chronic . One of the approach taken is develop IL1β inhibitors. Method used is compound screening active using in silico. Docking software used in study this is autodock 4.2 and visualization interaction using discovery studio , materials used in study this is the compounds contained in M. gigantea. Result of research this is the value of delta G is negative below -4 kcal / mol, so reaction yanga occur between the ligand and the protein will walk spontaneous . Conclusion in study this obtained four ligands with lowest G value that is glycasperin A; broussoflavonol F; 5,7,3 ',4'-Tetrahydroxy-3-methoxy-8,5'-diprenylflavone; meliternatin .

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a disease that is dangerous for life. Naphtaquinone is an anticancer agent whose derivatives have been successfully synthesized, so it is necessary to study QSAR to evaluate its potency. The purpose of this study was to determine the molecular descriptors of naphtoquinone-derived compounds that have a significant effect on the anticancer activity of HeLa cells and compile them into a valid QSAR model. A total of 15 compounds from naphtoquinone derivatives were used for modeling. The descriptors that were tried included 1,863 topological descriptors and physico-chemical properties descriptors. Results of correlation analysis obtained 17 descriptors that are feasible to be tested in modeling. Results of backward method obtained 3 descriptors that have a significant effect, namely AATSC6Z, AATSC7m, and MAXaaCH. The MLR model based on 3 descriptors fulfills the goodness of fit requirements with R=0.873, R2=0.763, R 2 Adjusted=0.698, F value=0.0009 (Ftable=11.778). The results of the validation test using the CV-LOO method obtained a value of Q2=0.572 and CV-LMO obtained a value of Q2=0.518 so that this HKSA model can be stated as a valid HKSA model.
