Abstract

The problem in this research is that the learning outcomes of students in grade IV SD 04 / II Jaya Setia are still low, this is evidenced by the results of preliminary observations made by researchers from 34 students, only 29% who scored in the complete criteria. The reason is that students in the class are passive, have not used varied learning models, and have not used concrete in learning. The research objective is to improve the process and thematic learning outcomes through the application of cooperative learning model cooperative scripts. The research model used in this research is classroom action research. Data collection using observation sheets for the learning process of students and tests for student learning outcomes. The results showed an increase in thematic learning outcomes in class IV SDN 04 / II Jaya Setia after using the cooperative script model. The results obtained indicate that the increase in the quality of the learning process from cycle I to cycle II reaches the very good category. Furthermore, the learning outcomes obtained in cycle I were 53% of students who completed and increased in cycle II by 82% of students who completed. So the cooperative script model can improve the thematic learning outcomes of class IV students.

Abstract

This study began with the low student learning outcomes in class III caused by the learning process that is not optimal. This type of research is classroom action research. This class action research includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students in grade III SDN No.152 / II Renah Jelmu with a total of 18 students. Data collection techniques used were tests and observation sheets. The research instruments used included the Learning Implementation Plan with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, test questions and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis while the research approach is quantitative. The research results obtained are as follows; (a) the teacher conducts learning interactively so that the learning process in cycle I runs well and increases in cycle II with very good criteria. (b) Students become active in the learning process, this is shown from the learning activities of students in the first cycle with good enough criteria and then increase in the second cycle with good criteria. (c) Problem Based Learning Model taught coherently will train students' understanding ability, this can be seen from the results of student learning that increased from cycle I only by 78% to 89% in cycle II with very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model and its effect on science learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN. No. 25/VI Tanjung Ilir, Tabir I District, Merangin Regency. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) with a research design using the One Shot-Case Study. The instruments used are observation sheets of educators and students and 20 multiple choice test questions. The implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model for educators is 93.75% with a very good category. Furthermore, for the application of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model to 37.9% students in the very good category and 58.7% in the good category. The average value obtained by students is 78 with 73% completeness. The relationship between the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) model with science learning outcomes obtained a value (rs) of 0.545 with a moderate level of relationship. The significance test is based on the value of recount (0.545) > rtable (0.375) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the implementation of the learning process with the NHT model and the science learning outcomes of students in class V. Based on the results of research analysis that the Number Head Together learning model (NHT) has been implemented well so that it has an influence on science learning outcomes in grade V elementary school.
