Abstract

When discussing climate change, one of the effects that is very pronounced is the abrasion and flooding that often occurs in Indonesia, especially in the province of DKI Jakarta, as one of the fastest sinking cities in the world. If this is not controlled, most of the city could be completely submerged by 2050 (Mayuri & Rafki, 2018). In an effort to combat climate change, some research suggests that young people are potentially well placed to trigger ambitious and long-term societal change by adopting sustainable attitudes and behaviours in energy use. (Ouariachi et al., 2017). To determine the increase in pro-environmental attitudes after an experiment using the documentary film "Tenggelam Dalam Diam" for teenagers in DKI Jakarta Province. This study will apply a Nonequivalent group design which is a quasi-experimental research design by comparing two pre-existing groups, where one group receives an intervention (experimental group) and the other group does not receive an intervention (control group) (Creswell, 2014). The results of Asym. Sig. (2-tailed) shows 0.00 which is less than 0.05, it can be stated that the documentary film "Tenggelam Dalam Diam" has an effect on pro-environmental attitudes of DKI Jakarta province teenagers. The results showed that the movie was effective in raising pro-environmental attitudes among teenagers in Jakarta, This research is expected to provide useful information for policy makers and stakeholders, in developing campaign strategies or programs that are more effective in increasing pro-environmnet attitudes and concrete actions towards the environment.

Abstract

Tingkatan kunjungan pemustaka dalam pemanfaatan layanan perpustakaan, merupakan kebajiban pustakawan dalam  menyadari fungsinya yang untuk mencapai kualitas pelayanan perpustakaan yang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan mengenai kualitas layanan perpustakaan yang terdapat di perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran, (2) Mendeskripsikan minat kunjungan mahasiswa untuk mengunjungi perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran, (2) Mengetahui hubungan antara minat kunjung dengan kualitas layanan di perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan teknik pengambilan sample adalah teknik random sampling. Metode analisis korelasi yang digunakan peneliti merupakan korelasi pearson, dimana korelasi pearson ialah merupakan korelasi sederhana yang hanya melibatkan satu variabel terikat (dependent) dan satu variabel bebas (independent) (Safitri, 2014). Penelitian berlangsung 10 hari kerja dari 09.00 - 14.45 WIB diluar jam istirahat. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara minat kunjung ke perpustakaan terhadap kualitas layanan di perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran. Dengan ukuran sampel (n) 118 pada α 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi 0.785 minat kunjung ke perpustakaan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kualitas layanan perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran, artinya hipotesis diterima. Semakin tinggi minat kunjung maka semakin meningkat pula kualitas pelayanan yang ada di perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran.Kata Kunci: Minat Kunjung; Kualitas layanan; Perpustakaan Universitas Padjadjaran; Korelasi; Hubungan.

Abstract

Bibliometric mapping can describe variations in information regarding local knowledge in an effort to reduce the impact of disasters. Although there has been much discussion about bibliometric mapping, research on local knowledge in the context of disaster mitigation is still very limited. Research methods. The bibliometric method with a quantitative approach is applied through the Scopus database with a range of 2019-2023 and VOSviewer visualization. The mapping technique is carried out using co-citation analysis and network and density visualization. Analysis data. There were 98 documents that cited two studies simultaneously. The most cited research discusses local knowledge for disaster preparedness and the integration of indigenous knowledge with science for disaster risk reduction. Results and Discussion. The research relationship pattern resulted in 8 clusters with different topic focuses, ranging from the integration of indigenous knowledge and scientific knowledge in disaster resilience, disaster risk management, to community participation.

Abstract

Reference services are an important form of service which has the function of providing answers, guidance and direction to readers in finding the right library materials. The Knowledge Management Center, especially the Padjadjaran University Library Service as a university library, has a role in meeting information needs so the presence of reference services is very necessary to help students. So this research has the aim of finding out the relationship between user satisfaction with reference service librarians, reference collections and reference service facilities at the Padjadjaran University Library Service Knowledge Management Center. In its implementation, this research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Researchers carried out research at the Padjadjaran University Library Services Knowledge Management Center. The data collection technique in this research is through distributing questionnaires and interviews using probability sampling or what is known as simple random sampling as a sampling technique. The results of this research are that there is a significant relationship with several indicators, namely speed of purchasing services, skills, completeness of collection, type of collection, and appearance on the website. Researchers used Pearson Product Moment analysis and Chi-square analysis in this research. Meanwhile, the theory used as an indicator of user satisfaction is the DeLone McLean theory called the IS Success Model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze user satisfaction with the quality of circulation services at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Public Library based on user’s minimum expectations, ideal expectations, and perceptions. The survey was conducted on 100 respondents who met in the circulation service section. Measurement of service quality using the LibQUAL +TM model by paying attention to 3 dimensions of service, namely: Affect of Service (AS), Information Control (IC), and Library as Place (LP). The research data were analyzed using a gap analysis between user expectations and perceptions. The results showed that in general, circulation services in this library have not been able to meet the minimum expectations of users. The gap analysis on each dimension shows that users are quite satisfied with the Library as Place dimension. Meanwhile, users are not satisfied with the dimensions of Affect of Service and Information Control.

Abstract

(Objectives) This study aims to examine the implementation of knowledge management in the aspect of knowledge preservation by herbarium curators, specifically through three main processes: selection, storage, and actualization. (Method) The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, which includes in-depth interviews with the head and curator of Herbarium Bandungense as primary data sources, as well as field observations. Secondary data were obtained through online literature and social media, while data analysis was carried out thematically, and the results were presented in the form of descriptive narratives. (Finding) The results showed that at the selection stage, the knowledge that was prioritized included knowledge that was not written in reference books and information that could improve curatorial effectiveness, which was strengthened by external collaboration. At the storage stage, knowledge was stored in three forms: individual, through social incentives and organizational climate flexibility; collective, through formal documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or manuals; and electronic, with the use of online chat groups. At the actualization stage, knowledge was applied in daily operations through SOP guidelines and routine decision-making. This study also identified several challenges, such as limited collaboration and human resources, lack of faculty attention to herbarium management, and minimal involvement of curators in strategic decision-making, especially related to herbarium sustainability and effectiveness policies. As a recommendation, this study suggests increasing attention to herbarium needs, especially in terms of funding and manpower. In addition, the establishment of a national association for herbarium curators is considered important to encourage the exchange of information on a wider scale. Finally, this study emphasizes the importance of increasing curator involvement in formulating strategic policies so that the sustainability of herbarium management can be guaranteed.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di era milenial saat ini memang tidak bisa kita hindari. Namun sebagai generasi muda, kita dituntut agar pandai memilih dan memilah serta mencerna budaya asing yang masuk, mana yang baik, dan mana yang tidak baik untuk diterima. Khususnya kearifan lokal yang berkaitan dengan teknologi serta seluk-beluknya, yang harus tetap dirawat dan dilestarikan, bahkan kalau bisa dikembangkan tanpa menghilangkan keasliannya. Teknologi yang canggih memacu kita menuju kebudayaan industri. Tetapi, dari sekian banyak suku bangsa di Indonesia, masih terdapat beberapa suku bangsa yang tetap bersikukuh mempertahankan budaya tradisional dan adat istiadat, serta tradisinya. Salah satunya masyarakat adat Kampung Naga, yang tinggal di Desa Neglasari Kecamatan Salawu Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknologi tradisional yang masih tersimpan dan digunakan oleh masyarakat adat Kampung Naga ditelusuri dan dikaji melalui metode penelitian deskriptif analisis, serta metode kajian hermeneutik, sosiologis, antropologis, dan kajian budaya. Diharapkan mampu mengungkap beragam teknologi tradisional yang ada di Kampung Naga dari berbagai alat, fungsi, dan makna yang terkandung di dalamnya, sesuai dengan adat dan tradisinya.

Abstract

Background: The age of disruption is inevitable nowadays, forcing companies to adapt to the current challenges and situations to stay relevant. PT Pos Indonesia is one of the companies experiencing negative impacts, resulting in decreased work performance, corporate stability, and even corporate reputation. Therefore, PT Pos Indonesia must swiftly retake the market narrative and improve its reputation. Purpose: The present study aimed to analyze the need of PT Pos Indonesia to bring back its reputation in the age of disruption. Methods: It is a qualitative and explorative case study. In-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis collected data. Results: Pos Indonesia’s efforts to be able to move more quickly and precisely is a good step, with three primary reasons, namely to increase profitability, maintain stability, and show good growth prospects for the company. Other elements also accompany these three fundamental reasons due to observations made by Pos Indonesia. Conclusion: The company needs to consistently observe emerging gaps because it will significantly help Pos Indonesia stay relevant. In addition, consistency will also keep Pos Indonesia moving on track with corporate innovation, allowing it to improve the company’s presence and reputation in a shorter amount of time. Implication: Consistency is needed to increase profitability, maintain stability and show good growth prospects. If done consistently and optimally, this will keep Pos Indonesia moving in the corridor of corporate innovation and enable reputation improvement.

Abstract

Artefak di Museum Sri Baduga menyimpan keragaman pengetahuan lokal tentang budaya Sunda. Hal ini menjadi penting untuk dikaji sebab masyarakat di tanah Pasundan memiliki kearifan yang agung sebagai identitas kesukuan selama ratusan hingga ribuan tahun lamanya. Meski masyarakat terus mengalami pergantian generasi, keluhuran tersebut masih dapat digali melalui benda-benda peninggalan mereka, salah satunya melalui museum bentukkan pemerintah Jawa-Barat, yakni Museum Sri Baduga. Dengan demikian aneka jenis koleksi menjadi bukti fisik akan pengetahuan yang dikuasai masyarakat di penjuru Jawa-Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memetakan pengetahuan lokal Sunda yang terdapat dalam koleksi di Museum Sri Baduga, oleh sebab itu digunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi naratif serta metode pengumpulan data melalui interpretasi dokumen kebudayaan di museum tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat terbagi dalam kemampuan membuat kain tradisional, mata pencaharian, tata kota, alat penerangan, kerajinan tangan, industri kecil pande besi, penanggalan, kesenian, permainan anak-anak, serta bahasa dan aksara. Penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai sumber informasi bagi siapa saja yang memiliki minat utuk meneliti tentang pengetahuan lokal, khususnya di tatar Sunda. Pengelompokkan pengetahuan ini memudahkan pembaca dalam memilah pengetahuan apa saja yang dikuasai masyarakat Sunda sehingga bisa menjadi rujukan untuk penelitian selanjutnya atau penelitian sejenis yang lebih mendalam.

Abstract

One of the challenges of new students is adapting to a new environment and culture, not least for new students of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) who live in the Sundanese region. The Library and Information Science Student Association (Himaka) at the Faculty of Communication Sciences (Fikom) Unpad, organised a Sundanese cultural creativity competition as an effort to introduce Sundanese culture to new 2024 students. We participated in judging the competition as part of the Community Service Activity (PKM). The competition was held on 12 September 2024 and was attended by five groups. The attractions displayed by the five groups were Sundanese agricultural culture, Ketuk Tilu dance, bakakak hayam tradition procession, sapintrong and pencak silat. The aspects assessed were stage action, presentation material and delivery, and feedback from respondents. The judging results show that basically all groups have performed cultural attractions well, this competition has motivated students to learn about culture and the values in it. This can be seen from the presentation material and how to deliver the material well. By knowing Sundanese cultural values, students are expected to adapt, understand the way of life, language and social norms that apply in Sundanese.
